Interstate moving.
I am warning every one. Do not used secure vanlines and trans vanlines. These two companies are the same and Linda who’s is the agent is a liar, and Jason and Erick are the ones that charge for extra cubic footage. Take a picture of ur footage from beginning to end. Worst of all they are unreliable. They damage your furnitures. They do not wrap them.They transport your furnitures to different warehouses for storage and as for as truck they rent trucks from Penske and enterprise. If you are moving get the POD. They are reliable, dependent and cheaper. I would not recommend any of these two. Bad companies. I have taken pictures that I am going to submit to BBB, and I am going to file a complaint with department of transportation. I have filed a complaint with the company about my damage and broken furnitures with promise to send me forms to fill out which was a lie also. Another thing get extra insurance because these companies don’t care. All they need is your for u to use them. Do not used them u are going to be sorry an regret using these two companies. Linda is the agent. Stay away from her. She will harass you to get your business.
Thieves - Extortionists - Con Artists.
DO NOT USE "SAFE & SECURE, LLC"!! I PROMISE you will regret every last second of your decision! I don't often write reviews (good, bad or ugly), however I WOULD NEVER want anyone (not even my worst enemy) to have the same experience I did with "Safe and Secure". This company WILL commit extortion, they WILL hire out a moving company to do the work that will quote you one price (my example: the moving company - Trujillo - quoted me a price of $135 per month to utilize their storage unit - however, as soon as the were taken and transported to their unit, they increased the price from $135, to $900 and then called me back and said "we made a mistake, it's actually $1200 per month". Please keep in mind, the total cubic square feet of all my items was 1800 cubic square feet". I refused to pay the RIDICULOUS $1200 per month and demanded they take my items to my own storage facility (and I only pay $130 per month). I could write a novel on how TERRIBLE Safe and Secure, LLC moving company is - Once they've provided you with a "credible mover" and you've made payment to them, you are simply dead to them. I could go on and on and on, so here are JUST A FEW bullet points of what I experienced.
*Original quote - $4300
*Final Pay out of my Pocket $9200
*Safe and Secure, LLC stopped taking my calls (screening my #), so in order to get in contact with them, I had to keep using different phone's/phone #'s.
*I waited 5 days for my items to be picked up - Here are the reasons the moving company was late - 1st day delay: Their truck broke down (they informed me they would be at my residence the next day). 2nd day delay: They had to wait on the part to fix their broken truck (they advised me they would arrive the next day). 3rd day delay: They were pulled over by the police (total BS) and they were searched for hours and hours and hours (they advised me they would be to my residence the next day). 4th day delay: Stuck in traffic (there was NO traffic - these idiots have never heard of "Google Maps" - which I verified and again NO traffic). Showed up on the 5th day - They told me on the 5th day they would be to my residence at 11am, however showed up at 8:30pm.
*The name "Safe and Secure, LLC" is laughable. Once they have your money, you are dead to them.
*I will be filing a lawsuit - If I could upload a picture to this site, I would. You should see how "Safe and Secure" they placed the items in MY storage unit. It is a COMPLETE joke and many things are broken, furniture was thrown - damaged.
*I also paid for the movers to set back up my furniture, once I moved to my new residence. Of course this did NOT happen, because who the hell WOULD EVER want this pathetic company back!
Safe and Secure is a total joke - They are extortionist (once they have your money, they will continue to hold your items hostage and keep making up lies, or else they will not have your items delivered.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - Run like hell from this PATHETIC "Company".

I moved July 1,2019 the moving company came late of course.The company stored my things for 3 months as I was moving from Chicago to Arizona. When I call safe and secure all of their lines say out of service, their website is shut down. I honestly can't get in touch with anybody. However, I do have my movers phone number in which I've contacted directly. Dominque and Whitney were my coordinators whom help me pull everything together. I read other reviews and I'm truly scared. If the company closed down without giving alternate contact information this is sketchy. My movers claim they will be here tommorow or Saturday. I've cried for days cause I'm 31 and this is everything I own all my children's belongings that I have worked so, hard for. I notified my movers that I moved in on September 19-20. Here we are almost Nov 1. The company I'm dealing with is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. IM NOT RACIEST I SWEAR IM A BLACK GIRL. BUT, I DO NOT like DEALING WITH ANYONE BUT, AMERICANS. As I don't define people by race but, integrity. We need to come together if u have been scammed go to the BBB AND CONTACT THE FEDERAL MOTOR CARRIER. PLACES LIKE THIS PREY ON VULNERABLE PERSON (S). IVE RESEARCHED the owner we must hold them accountable please don't just let this just blow over your head. As others could be done the same way. I didn't pay attention to their reviews on Google. They wrote those reviews there selves pay attention to how all the pictures have that black border around them and the pictures look fictional.I really can believe this I'm crying right now my kids are begging for their things my 4 & 6 year old girls I'm truly heart broken. After paying over 5k for this move. They transported my car from Illinois to Arizona with no problem and only charged me 750$(not included in the 5k). So, how would I have every known they weren't legitimate? I really do appreciate what they did taking my things rapping them in plastics beds sofa and storing them. They tried scamming the customers on delivery and tried charging them on stuff that was already charged for, as well as for picks ups when they agreed on a certain price but once the truck is loaded the prices goes up by double or triple the price that was originally agreed up on. When I asked my helper why was he doing that for and that this was wrong, illegal and out of my character he simply responded and said “you gotta be slick and smart and know how to make extra bucks for yourself” lol smh with no guilt nor shame. I have proof that I worked for them. Videos and pictures. When the customer would ask what's the name of your company the helper that's been with them for 5 years and only I was there for a week, would respond with a totally different name of the company lol, only later on I found out the real name of the company. The last customer we arrived to pulled out a contract and her phone and recorded him and screamed at my helper to sign that he just took 2,400$ in cash and he kinda didn't wanna finish the job after he was paid. Also the customer said she had nothing against me and it was not me but him. The previous customer we went to he wanted to charge her to pit the bed together and the poor lady already paid for it. It was 5000$ but when we arrived it was 8000$ lol. She had also said that my helper was rude and sketchy and told me that I was awesome! I beg all of you reading this to kindly share this post everywhere and let the truth be known and make sure they go out of buisness sooner than later And by the way I quit from this job as soon as I found out the truth I did not get fired!! It was only 1000$ they had owed me and refused to pay me nothing too serious. #godbless.
Brooklyn NY to Pgh, PA.
This is has been a nightmare. Worked with Safe & Secure moving to move my daughter from Brooklyn, NY to Pittsburgh, PA and have over $1400 invested to Safe & Secure Moving and now they are no where to be found and I can't get a hold of anyone. All of their phones and internet are disconnected. They scheduled Fragile Movers out of New Jersey with a promised Pittsburgh delivery 3 days from pickup in NY and it's now been a week and my daughter still doesn't have her belongings. We continue to work with Fragile Movers but they can't guarantee when we will get our delivery. Safe & Secure Moving assured me that the delivery would be within 3 days and now we are left out in the cold with no one to contact. She only has 5 days worth of clothes and her medications are all still on a truck sitting in New Jersey somewhere. What a disaster.

Broken and ignored- DO NOT USE THEM.
The service provided by this company was terrible. My furniture pick up date was delayed and then when the movers finally showed up to pick up my furniture the movers were smoking on our property, peed behind the moving truck on my property, and required that we help load my belongings onto the moving truck. The movers then tried to overcharge me for my move. My items then arrived a week late in my new destination. Not only was the truck a week late, but all of my items were either damaged or broken, completely smashed. I had to replace much of my furniture. Not only were my items broken, but the mover showed up alone, so myself and my new neighbors had to help him unload the larger furniture. Following this horrible experience I was not communicated with well. I was left in the dark as I tried to process an insurance claim and my claim covered only a fracture of the damage that was done. It was a horrible experience and I will never be moving with this company again and will not recommend it to anyone else. I plan on spreading the word that this is a horrible company to book with.
All phones no longer in service.
Today, October 24, 2019 was our scheduled telephone inventory phone call from Safe and Secure Moving. After waiting all morning, I called Safe & Secure Moving and found all their telephone lines were no longer in service.
I paid them $1500 deposit for the move and now I have lost all that money.
Word of advice: use local movers that send estimators to your door before you pay any money. Do not book movers from the internet. There are so many scams involving movers.. so stay local.
Worst Experience !!
The old bait and switch. They talk themselves up and then broker you out to a substandard moving company (ocean movers.. check their reviews). Then the other guys arrive and try to strong arm you for more $$. And of course United doesn’t return anymore of your calls after they screw you over. I booked with them and was quoted a price and delivery date. Now I’m out $400 extra dollars and I’m 4 days PAST my delivery date and still no clue when all my belongings will arrive.

Plus have shifted here recently and I took their service for movers. Team of experts I must say they move my glass stuff. It was exceptional. Thank you Safe & Secure.

Booking this company for our shifting was my brother's idea. He had heard some great reviews before. I myself was little not sure then but I was impressed with the professionalism showed by each worker. They surely know their work and packed everything to minimize the damage rate.

When I was moving out last week, my friend asked me to book N company. I was at first a little anxious because most of my luggage is fragile. She told me about her experience and on her call I booked them. Now I can say, I did right. They were of real help and moved my furniture and other stuff with no breakage.

Dishonest.
I was told by a few different people not to trust this company, but because I had everything in writing, I felt I had nothing to worry about. I was wrong! When the driver arrived at my storage unit, he stated that because of the size of the couch & loveseat, and the washer & dryer were not stackable, the price has now increased by $700.00. They require a deposit and it’s none refundable. Don’t do business with this company. Find a reputable company. I would never recommend anyone to do business with this company.
