Schea Van Lines.
We had a four bedroom home in Ann Arbor needing storage for a brief period of time while our new home was being built. We received a postcard in the mail from Schea Van Lines. At that time my wife phoned the office to schedule an in home estimate. The office sent out a gentleman who was very thorough and outlined everything at the house. The storage was complimented considering it was for a brief period of time. When the new home was ready, Schea Van Lines made our furnishings reappear as promised. Schea Van Lines did a great job.

Good service is difficult to find. My former neighbors suggested Schea Van Lines after we had sold our old home. It was a pleasant experience dealing with these gentleman. It did not exceed a penny more than the estimated amount, and the gentleman were careful and courteous throughout the entire move.
Started ok but went south.
My movers arrived in a timely fashion. One guy was the lead who seemed to have experience while the other talked way too much. He even told me today was his first day on the job. They didn't manage to pack everything up to move me after doing an initial walk through and saying all would be fine. I had to come back with a truck to finish the job. They offered to come back but it would have been very costly, I'm sure a very calculated move by them. They unloaded quite a bit while I wasn't around. One bedroom set was broken while reassembling. The walls and door entrances were hacked up. Not happy to see that in my new home with fresh paint. I had to provide them tools to take apart and reassemble bedrooms. When they had to call their boss, both of their cell phone batteries died. The manager never sent anyone to repair my broken piece. They also had hidden charges. Please don't use this company if you want an honest and proper job.

I received a postcard in the mail from Schea Van Lines about a month prior to my projected move date. Invited them out for an estimate. They gave us a great idea for as to what needs to be done prior to the move. The day of service the staff were courteous and clearly knew what they were doing. I liked Schea Van Lines and will be using them again.
Moving.
This was a terrible moving company! They misquoted me by 400 in their favor as well the movers were very unprofessional in looks and in actions! They showed up- looked around and left with no explanation and then didn't return my supposedly 100% refundable! Very unhappy and would never recommend them!

Using Schea Van Lines was a great choice of behalf of my wife. She had got a quote from a few movers in the Columbus area. After speaking with Schea she arranged for an In home estimate. They came out, looked around, and gave a firm price.
At the end of the move we did not pay a penny more and all was handled properly. Thank you Schea Van Lines.

Outstanding Move.
I wanted to express my experience with SVL this weekend. Mark and Andre were two very professional young men who worked very hard to keep things organize and moving. Being a professional myself I noticed the leadership skills in Mark. I know sometime customers will quickly write complaints but I wanted to write compliments for these two young men. If you are looking for someone to train others on how to organize and move quickly and professionally I would recommend Mark as your trainer. This young man should be a worker that you would hate to lose because he is a very hard and skilled worker. The care that they took in handling my house was over the top. Please consider increase for Mark as he greatly desires it.
Schea Van Lines - Dublin, OH.
The gentlemen at Schea Van Lines recently relocated my three bedroom from Hilliard to Dublin. Unlike my experience with prior service providers, Schea Van Lines delivered and did not take advantage of my desperation for moving help. I phoned these guys about three days prior to needing to be out of my Hilliard address. Sure enough they were there on the move date as promised with a more than capable operation. The move went smooth and the price was less than anticipated. Glad I chose a local family owned service.

Schea Van Lines provided my family exceptional service this past weekend. We were served with a staff of three and two 26' trucks. The guys were quick, polite, and knew what they were doing. It was quite the relief considering our move into our old Birmingham address was done by folks that I could never say the same about. We phoned Schea Van Lines after receiving literature in the mail. Very glad we did! Schea Van Lines will be my contractor of choice for future moves.
Don't Use!
Used Schea to move about an hour and a half away, the movers were almost 3 hours late, destroyed/ damaged walls, door walls and ceramic floors, dropped furniture, damaged pieces.
Talked to owner Jim Schea who said if I sent him pics he would call me back, haven't heard a word from anyone..very disappointed.
Would NOT recommend
They also overcharged for mileage, was told price was 1.29 per mile and there was an additional charge added on, said we were out of their service are. Was never told this in the quote.
Very professional and quick.
My husband and myself have used moving companies many times. I would recommend Schea Van Lines to anyone and will use them again myself. The movers, Chino and Joe A, were on time, courteous, very hard working, and professional. Not to mention very careful with our belongings! We found the price to be reasonable as well. Can't say enough good things!
Move me to Storage.
I have moved ten times in the past forty years. These guys (and gals) are great.
The movers: Chris, Jonathan, and Rolen, showed up on time. They were courteous, friendly, efficient, and good at their job. I, on the other hand was stressed completely. It took five hours to load me up but they had me at ease within the first thirty minutes. The final cost was less than my personal estimate. YAY.
Since I do not have a destination for delivery my belongings went to their secure, temperature controlled storage facility. Which means they unloaded the truck and crated everything.
When my first bill came I was shocked at the price. So I called late on a Saturday night and that call was promptly returned by Austin the first thing Monday morning. Completely acceptable.
He helped me lower my monthly storage amount by suggesting alternate storage options for the four over sized items I knew were going to be an issue. Personally, I thought there would be more and was pleasantly surprised.
Every step of the way I would get a phone call from someone easing my apprehension, keeping me informed. Giving me hints and tips.
I will use this service and tell all my friends from this day forward.

Horrible - no show.
Received a call the day before our Cincinnati to Cincinnati move. The day of they were a no show. Made 2 calls to thel sales desk and they sent 2 texts to their dispatchers for an update. Tried xalling ax3rd time after 12 noon on a Friday and all I get is a vouce mail thatsays thevoice mail has not been setup yet. Fortunately I was able to get another moving company for Sarurday morning. Srill have not been able to reach them by phone today to get my $100 deposit refunded. Stay away from these guys at all costs and you will save yourself alot of grief!

My recent experience with Schea Van Lines was stellar. Hired these Schea Van Lines to take my three bedroom from Columbus to Dublin. My wife and I forgot to pick up mattress bags prior to the service date. The gentlemen from Schea brought their own for us to keep. This consideration to us being stressed and forgetful was a tough from a local moving company that we had not experienced before. Thankful we selected Schea Van Lines. Schea Van Lines did a fine job.
