Don't use this company.
They arrived on time and were very friendly. We supervised the move from the house to the truck and no damage but we did not supervise the packing of the truck. When we arrived in Fla we had a lot of damage to furniture and appliances. The table saw went thru the back of the antique grandfather clock and the bottom of the grandfather clock went thru the vent in the back of the refrigerator. The dolly was not removed from the refrigerator and was not wrapped ( over 2 dozen moving blankets were given to them to use) and the handles of the dolly rubbed the refrigerator on the side down to the metal. The china hutch had deep gouges in the wood and the futon had 2 holes in the back where boxes tore thru the fabric. Boxes marked fragile were on their sides. We filed a claim for damages but have not received a response yet to see if they will pay for what they destroyed. I would not recommend this company. We were told they were professional movers which is not the case at all. .
Moving.
SML did a good job in getting me the information I needed and did a very good job at making the move go easy. I picked the Professionals at pick up and workers at the delivery. I was very satisfied with the workers at the delivery site. They were friendly and listened to my needs. I was less satisfied with the professionals at the pickup. The lead man was very knowledgeable and did a good job of sizing up the job knowing how to load the truck and took great care to make sure nothing would be damaged. However, he didn't listen to my needs as the truck would not hold everything which I told him would happen and asked to make sure all the heavy furniture would be on the truck. He told me he knew how to load the truck without my help. When the truck was over 2/3rds full he still had not moved any of the heavy furniture. He did get the heavy furniture onto the truck but, because of not putting the heavy stuff on first the truck was not utilized to capacity and I had about 8-10% of the truck underutilized. However, I have to give the professionals top marks for knowledge and good workmanship and the only objections was the top pro not listening to my knowledge. Another point was when the pros had to move the bureau out of the bedroom it took them way to long because they didn't listen to my knowledge that they should take down the light fixture in the ajoining hall. After almost 5 minutes they did listen and the bureau was moved rapidly. Overall I was very satistified and would have given them an excellent if the pros had listened. The workers at the other end knew only some of moving secrets but, worked diligently and they were friendly and gave it their full effort. .

Packers on the front end were very good and knew how to pack and nothing moved and nothing was broke on the other end. On the back end unloaders were very careful with everything and so willing to do whatever. They made sure nothing fell as they were unloading the well packed truck. Excellent job on both ends. No complaints.

I would hire this company again.
Movers were polite and honest. They worked constantly and effectively. They knew the best way to unload and move my furniture up an elevator to the 10th floor. There was damage to my sofa. The mover was honest and brought the damage to my attention. I would use this company again. I hired them for 3 hours but only ended up using them for 2 hours. Instead of just leaving after the unloading, they asked if could help with arranging the heavy furniture in the condo. They were very professional.
