  1. Negligence, sexual hatrassment and endangering clients health.

Dealing with this company has been a horrific experience. My move from Nj to South Carolina’s was a horrific show since the pick up date. Movers came in with no masks or gloves during a pandemic, threedays later my daughter got covid. Everyone that she was around tested negative.

A particular worker was sexually harassing her for the duration of the picked up until I threatened to call his boss. It took 12 days for delivery butvto my surprise all my furniture has been broken or damage. A 2500 Television, a very expensive mattress, dining room table, Keith, crystals missing boxes. I have lost over $10000 of my furniture and they have not accepted responsibilities for their action. I’m planning to start legal litigation against this company.

Please do not use their services if you want to see your furniture again.

They are incompetent, negligent and surely does not scream their workers.

  2. Negligence, Misrepresentation, Dubious Reviews.

Before you use Southeast Van Lines of Atlanta, Georgia please perform your due diligence on this business!

I am a business executive that has been professionally moved six times in the past eight years and over twenty times in the past forty years. I have used most of the major brand interstate movers. Recently, I contracted with Southeast to move my household goods from Atlanta, Georgia, to Michigan.

I dealt with Benjamin David, President of Southeast Van Lines, Atlanta, Georgia.

David promised “high-end” service with his “highly trained” staff. David sold me a $7,000 pack-and-move including an optional $795 full-value insurance package that covered $50,000 of goods with a $500 deductible.

Upon delivery most of the furniture was damaged. Computers were tossed into boxes without any wrapping or protection. They were crushed in their boxes.

Clothes with their hangars were stuffed and stacked into wardrobe boxes without being hung. Personal vanity articles were missing or stolen.

When the packers were in other rooms loading boxes and out of line-of-sight, the crew was just dumping our belongings into boxes without any wrapping whatsoever. Upon arrival virtually every box had damaged items and nearly every piece of furniture was damaged.

Good thing I purchased the optional full replacement value insurance, right? Wrong. Southeast refused to honor the additional insurance I purchased.

Southeast used subterfuge, chicanery and sleight-of-hand contract tricks to induce me into purchasing “full replacement value” insurance that is worthless while waging a war of attrition against me after making a claim against Southeast.

This company has far too many complaints (see below) and many of them cite Southeast business practices as unethical, fraudulent. deliberately misrepresentative, and more.

  3. Interstate Move.

Southeast Van Lines is an excellent company. I received my quote under expectations. The crew was timely and careful. The office and the crew communicated with me every step of the way. They made what would normally be a very stressful time pleasant.

  4. Local Move Fromm H-ll.

I chose this company for a local move for a local move from Roswell to Dacula 2 1/2 year’s ago. I am finally calm enough to write a review. Worst move I ever made, and I have made several local and interstate moves. I was moving the contents 5,000 sq ft home and found this company listed as #2 on Angie’s List (#1 was unavailable.) Due t the volume of contents to be moved a had an on site estimate done and Mr. Bengamine David came t my hours e and was shown everything. I also requested a whole house packing service. I was to,d that the move would take 3 days: 1 to pack, 1 to move out and 1 to move in. I was promised 6 men. Day One: 5 men arrived, one who was a new hire working with supervision as on the job training. They ran out of packing paper and markers (helped themselves to my silver gel pens found in my desk.) I surprised two of the workers when I walked into my bedroom and found them going through the contents of my nightstand (and no they were not packing-they were supposed to be wrapping furniture.) They did not finish packing that day and had to complete the morning of the move which meant the day ran into the wee hours. Instead of one large truck there were two smaller trucks supplied which would have been okay except they ran out of space and I had to transport items in two vehicles. I was told that a large 15 year old houseplant would be transported inside the truck (I specifically asked) and then on moving day was told there was no room. Mr. David put it in the back of his pick up truck and transported it up 85N (it did not survive.). Move in day went as planned although the movers had to wait for me to arrive at the new house because I had to finish the vacuuming that I wasn’t able to do the evening before due to the late hour. When I unpacked I found several broken items which Mr. David informed me would not be the responsibility of the company even though his men packed them. I also found items packed inappropriately such as a toilet brush in with. Lean linens and heavy decorator objects packed with lamp shades. Now I am not a professional packer but I have packed myself I. The past. In preparation I watched a video from U-haul and know that is NOT how it is done. It is 2 1/2 years later and I am STILL trying to find items. I suspect some never made it informed you catch my drift. This fiasco cost me $3K. Bottom line: DO NOT use this company for a major move, especially if packing is involved. There were only two men who knew what they were doing and the other two with experience should have only been wrapping furniture. The fifth guy was slow because he was inexperienced. Wrapping paper ran short which I believe was due to inappropriate use (which I discovered when I unwrapped items.) The ONLY positives I can say are that the moving men were polite and hard working. The foreman was very knowledgeable but since the team was short staffed he could not supervise adequately-he was packing the most valuable items( thankfully.). The things that were broken had been packed by the furniture wrappers when time got short. In their favor no furniture was damaged. I blame the problems on Mr. David who underestimated the magnitude of this move and was very rude on moving day. If you must use this company, do your own packing and make sure you get an onsite quote, not over the phone. I would hate to think of what it would have been if he hadn’t actually seen the contents to be moved.

  5. Never Ever Use Southeast Van Lines!!

Wish I had an option to give 0 starts.
Delivery came in after 20 days. They broke my microwave, tea table, tv stand. Charged 300 for shuttle which they never used and not required as well. Never deal with a person named Ben. He promised something and delivered something else. When called to get it clarified, he said that he is doing a favor to me by talking to me over phone. Completely unprofessional. Irresponsible. careless. try some other company if you need to have peace of mind during your move and to safeguard your items.

NEVER EVER USE SOUTHEAST VAN LINES!!

  6. Magnificent Experince.

I had to use Souteast Vanlines twice in two years. Moving huge houses was scary and expensive. Thanks to the incredible staff and movers at Southeast Van lines every thing went unbelievably smooth and easy. The guys were incredible and they worked so hard with such a positive attitude. They made sure I was happy
every step of the way. If something needed to be moved to a different room, no problem they did it with a smile. They were absolutely AMAZING.. On top of that I could not
find any moving company to give me a better price.
I couldn't ask for anything more from start to finish.

  7. Totally relieved.

It was an inter-state move from Atlanta, GA to Philadelphia, PA. But we just had to move and we hired Southeast van lines to handle the job simple because of their good reputation as long distance movers. One of my friends moved to NY last year and he complained about some of his stuffs going missing. I was quite concerned about that too. It was a cross country move after all and the movers may have a hundred reasons why things could just disappear. Luckily, when both vans reached Philly on time and I checked the inventory, nothing went missing. Everything was delivered in the state they left my house in Atlanta. I felt totally relieved and grateful.

  8. Beyond expectation.

If you ask me to judge their work, I would say Southeast van lines was beyond my expectation. Now let me tell you why. Because, it was neither my first relocation nor theirs. I exactly knew what could be the loopholes where issues could be created. Southeast van lines and its crews all the necessary measures to make sure no loophole stuck anything. It was just perfect. They made sure no broken items going to my new place. They followed the given deadline and reached before that in my new place. Everything they did was synched and well executed.  .

  9. Absolutely stunning.

Among 10 quotations I chose Southeast van lines not only because of the lowest price, they also showed the excellence in detailed working out on it. Their people were efficient and they assured noting goes bad. My goods were uninjured. I believe that it was the best I could get. The fast people did it very swiftly which was reflected in the bill and it was not more than the quoted amount. Good enough for me.

  10. Awesome service.

Atlanta to Philadelphia in record time and within a very decent amount. I am talking about Southeast van lines, our moving partner while moving to PA from GA. Eli was very attentive and responsive and Tony with his team did fantastic while packing and loading. They have managed all the maneuvers with ease and never let anything causing any mishaps. Nothing was broken or dented and the final cost was under the estimated amount.

  11. Everything happened perfectly.

Kadree and his helpers were very supporting, nicely organized and friendly. Our entire move was done quickly and as stress free as a move can be. They were prompt in providing quote, packing and with turning up on our moving day. We received helpful advices on the preparation before the move and they themselves were very diligent and intelligent enough to do everything perfectly. All our goods arrived safely and were quickly placed into the right rooms. Our move with Southeast van lines cost considerably less than the next nearest quote that we received. We are grateful to everyone involved with our move.

  12. Terrible experience.

Used Southeast Van Lines to move from Georgia to California. The experience was not a good one and there were problems caused by the van line at every stage of the move. It was not possible to get in touch with anyone at Southeast Van Lines at critical moments when there were problems with the van driver. He did not have any labor with him. I had to move most of my stuff. Like everyone else associated with the move, he was unprofessional and rude to the point of being threatening.
The inventory list that the packers created was an unintelligent mess and the driver who unloaded refused to even try to reconcile it. I am missing stuff and there are damages to the goods. I am attempting to get some kind of settlement from the claims department but I'm not hopeful as no one at Southeast Van Lines is willing to take responsibility for anything. There is no one accountable at this company.
Save yourself the trouble and heartburn and avoid Southeast Van Lines.

  13. I have already recommended.

I had no idea about this company. I randomly called 7 companies and asked for the quote. It was Southeast van lines that gave me an onsite estimate which was very precise and reasonable. So, I booked them for my move. They were assigned for the full service. Tony with his team arrived on time at the move day, packed and loaded everything, took great care of the valuables and was extremely careful with the floor and walls in both the ends. Drop off was made on time and the condition of the inventory was perfect. That is why I have already recommended Southeast van lines to one of my friends.

  14. The Best!

After getting recommendations from my family and friends, I used Southeast van lines for my move. I am glad I did that. These people went above and beyond. When I contacted the company for the first time, I got all the necessary info about moving. I dealt with three lovely movers who were punctual, professional, efficient and kind. They also treated my values with respect and wrapped them carefully, so nothing got damaged. It was great service from start to end. The price was also like their service- GREAT! I would like to recommend them absolutely because they are simply amazing!

  15. Very dedicated.

It’s been three months since I moved from Atlanta, GA to Philadelphia, PA and Southeast van lines made the move stress and tension free. The customer service was top notch. Their team members did an amazing job. I was so happy with how well all my belongings were blanket wrapped and taped up to protect. They even wrapped my bicycle. On the PA end the driver was expert. He phoned ahead to make me up-to-date. The delivery persons were very polite, friendly and skilled. They were diligent. Thank you very much for making my move an easy one. I highly recommend Southeast van lines for everybody.
