Long distance move damaged furniture.
We hired The Moving Guy LLC out of Tempe, AZ (owned by Justin Boshears) for our long distance move in early January . I asked all the questions you are supposed to like are you licensed and insured. I got all the right answers and was optimistic that I hired the right crew. I was wrong. Justin was a hard worker and very responsive and polite but the people he brought in to help were not careful. They did not bring enough packing materials and did not pack our furniture correctly. They ended using some of the materials we had been using for the self packing we did of boxes of our possessions. Everything we self packed was undamaged and most of what they packed was either damaged or extremely dirty when it was delivered. I now have over $1000 in damages to my dining room set alone. They also damaged my living room end tables, destroyed 2 different shelving units, scuffed and dented both my washer and dryer, scratched up my daughters bed frame, and a brand new futon frame. In my opinion they positioned the furniture so the damages were obscured so I couldn’t see until they had left. They rushed to put the furniture into the new house, denting and scratching walls and ceilings (yeah you read that correctly, they damaged the ceiling!) because they purchased return flights in the early afternoon only giving themselves a couple hours to complete the job. I contacted Justin the next day and provided pictures of all the damages. He assured me they would fix everything and apologized for the trouble. To date I received one replacement $30 shelf and had a furniture repair company come the fix the scuff marks on 7 of my chairs. The gouges in the dining room table surface and all legs were so bad that they couldn’t be fixed in my home. And now Justin is ignoring my phone calls and texts. I gave more than enough opportunity for them to fix what they damaged. Find someone else to move your belongings unless you don’t care what condition you receive everything back in.

Moving Guys.
The Moving Guys were FANTASTIC!! Owner came and did site inspection, booked 7hr move with 5 guys. Moving day..6 guys, two large trucks, two hrs later we are on our way!! Move took 5hrs instead of 7! (move came out cheaper..I never thought that could happen, incredibly surprised)
Workers were OUTSTANDING! Blanketed and shrink wrapped every stick of furniture as if it were their own! Put all back together with care and they centered a huge bedwall 3 times to my liking..these guys were amazing! I will recommend them to everyone I know!! GREAT BUNCH OF GUYS!!

I would highly recommend this moving company, based upon my experience in July 2013. Joe, the owner, was great with the repair of a mirror that was needed and the 3 men that were my crew worked harder than I could have imagined. They give the industry a good name.
