Worst Movers!!

This company is horrible to say the least. I scheduled our pick-up and we waited and waited until finally I got ahold of someone who said the movers were not coming until the next day. When they showed up late they did not have all the packing supplies needed so we had to take them to the store to buy supplies. They showed up with 3 guys but only 2 did the majority of the work because the gentleman was hurt and he was there because his family owned the business. The packers seemed to do a good job but we later found out from our damaged items that at the end they we rushing and did a poor job. Plus when they unload it at some poor storage facility the stuff was probably not treated nicely. We tipped the movers very well and fed them and they even drank a 12 pack of our beer and smoked our cigarettes. They delivered our stuff the wrong day, no one every contacted us and trying to reach these people for damage or claims has been a nightmare. They charged us for a service we never received and also had it so when the items were delivered they would only take cash which was not our agreement. Trying to get cash on a Sunday was a nightmare. Do not use this company or any company out of Richardson owned by this horrible family business.

Complaint.

When I phoned Thrifty to complain about our horrible move they told me to file a complaint at www.csipros.org. After doing this, filling out all the required forms and telling my story etc, this morning I received a phone call from CSI saying they do NOT handle Thrifty claims, they are not a client of theirs. I again called Thrifty and they said to file my complaint with www.movingclaims.net. We will see how this one works!! Ugh.
