  1. Very unprofessional in nature

    • Very unprofessional in nature , appointment was done 10 days back for 3 pm, they reached my place at 5:30 PM

    • From the beginning they took their own time, Spent time in smoking , talking and finally started their work even though their actual working hours started from the time they started from their place (90 mins back)

    • I had neatly packed all the 35 boxes, but they just threw them from the steps and 8 boxes were completely opened by the time they reached my new place.

    • Estimation given was $ 530 , actual bill given was $ 1630. Before giving this $ amount in cash , they did not even start removing my stuff from the truck. Obviously, I had gone to the ATM to withdraw this amount and this extra time was also included in their working time.

    • They charged me a hefty extra amount as they had to walk 100 ft (instead of 50 ft)  from the common lyft to my apartment.

    • They broke many of our furniture , glass materials , and tv stands during this move.

    • They did not even assemble my stuff after reaching the new place. 

    • Don’t use their service even though you get very cheap estimates from them , the actual bill is definitely going to be 5 times for sure.

    • They gave a receipt for $1600 but the quality of the handwritten receipt is of such bad quality that anyone would get an impression that it is a fake company.

    I am Very surprised how this kind of cheating company survives in this country. 

  2. Terrible job

    I hired this company for a small move: washer, 3-seat couch, Ikea bedframe, matress, futon, countertop, dining table with 6 chairs, TV, 4 tires and a few smaller items. I took all the furniture apart before they came in and had it separated from what was staying in the old place. I even wrapped the stuff that I could.

    They quoted me $490 the day before and came at $710 on the move.

    I wouldn't have minded the difference if everything was moved intact, this was not the case though. Every piece of furniture has a ding, scratch, rip or similar. And I really mean every piece. And I told them at the beginning of the job take your time I want a smooth job.

    This is just a horrible company. Out of the 3 guys that came only 1 was actually acting like a professional and was wrapping the items and moving with care. The other 2 guys, one of which was the lead are just out for a quick buck.

    I told them at my new place that I have just washed the carpet and would like them to either take their shoes off, put booties on(which I provided) or put a tarp and wipe their shoes off before they walk in. All of those were too much for them. On top of that to cut their path from the truck 3 feet short they walked through the garden in front of the front door and brought even more dirt.

    Also when moving the washer that was left by previous owner at my new location they spilled water, which got into the floor from a nearby crevice and damaged the ceiling on the floor underneath. You would think professional mover would know a washer might have water in it and come prepared...

    I would have been much better just selling all my stuff at rock bottom prices and buying new then paying these guys to destroy everything and still having to buy new.

    Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for movers.

  3. I had a wonderful excellent move today March 3, 2021

    Ty and LA were the best!!! Very respectful, considerate and did a great job. They wrapped each piece of furniture and handled everything with care and smiles! At my new residence they placed everything exactly where I wanted it also... I would recommend Tiger Movers again and tell them to ask for Ty and LA!! You guys again are very hard workers and take pride in what you do for others. Much appreciation again and take care and be safe. Sincerely Bonnie McDonald

  4. Worst unprofessional/dishonest company

    Absolutely the worst experience imaginable!!!

    This Company is one of the most unprofessional and dishonest co I have dealt with. The only reason Tiger was used was because they were hired as a third party, which we were not aware of. After reading other Tiger reviews at least they stay consistent. Terrible Reviews !!! It started when a quote was given for this move of around 9K. We were very careful to confirm this price since another moving Co had changed their original price. This Co understood our concern and guaranteed this price. They also understood the house was closing the following day and needed to be vacated. When they arrived they changed the price because they indicated that there were more items than they expected. THEY SAW EVERYTHING IN EVERY ROOM WHEN THEY GAVE THE FIRST QUOTE. They brought a 27' truck which is more than enough for a 3 bedroom 1500 sq. f00t home They increased their quote 5K.. There was no choice but to pay this amount under duress on account of our time sensitive closing date. The Co was well aware of this and used it as leverage. We were told the truck would be leaving straight for NY. They picked up contents last week of October. It was delivered Nov 15th. It took over 3 weeks!!.When we finally did hear from them we had a 4 hour notice, also they wanted to deliver it at 5PM. When they did arrive, there were only 2 people. One of them was new so in this review it does not include him. The driver was rude when I asked if he had plastic or floor coverings to protect the floor, since it was raining, and he said no he has never heard of such a thing. Next the driver said they would not take anything anything upstairs without an extra cost. (2nd floor was known in quote). He said either pay the money or everything goes to downstairs or we will leave without unloading the truck. It took 45 min of calls to their boss to get them to take a few items upstairs. We asked what process is best to determine which room to place items. The driver responded by saying "we do not separate the load, everything is placed in one place. He said we don’t have time to determine these things we only have to bring them to one area." My wife was still trying to talk to him when he just ignored her and started walking off. I then had to inform him he was rude and to listen to her. Later we found items that belong in a garage (marked barbecue grill) we asked them to place it in the garage. He said no we only place everything in one spot. I asked, "so if you unload a lawnmower you are putting it in the house?" He said, "yes, or we'll leave it outside." Now things are starting to get heated. I strongly suggested he do his job and place things they belong, as per the contract! He said if I keep talking like that, they will just unload everything outside and leave it (It was raining hard outside). I told him go ahead and we will see you in court. His response was strange, he said, "you don’t know my name", I said I know the company. He said, "but you don’t know me." By this point we were so tired of it all, and tired of the time they were wasting on their phones & arguing, we just let them place everything piled up in one place. They finally left around 11:30 PM. They left all their trash scattered in the driveway, as well as several pieces of various broken items, that we were on aware of until they had left and found the parts in the driveway. They broke an antique mirror, which they did show us, but also many boxes were torn up, crushed, or partially opened, the damage was unbelievable. By the end of it, we were just glad they were gone.

  5. Horrible Moving Company.

    From the  moment the drivers showed up to my apartment, we knew this was going to be a subpar experience, and not the way anyone should feel as they are moving to a new place - ESPECIALLY WHEN PAYING TWO MOVERS TO ASSIST! The movers arrived and boy, did they make an entrance! They backed the moving truck into a lightpost right in front of my building, the passenger stepped out, attempted to fix the poll by pushing it upright and then attempted to keep the poll in place by patting dirt around it. Not only are there cameras at my old building that recorded this, but my boyfriend, myself and one of my neighbors witnessed the accident. My neighbor reported the incident to the local police, and when my building super confronted the driver about this, the driver lied and said he didn't hit the poll. The driver spent over an hour outside on the phone telling someone that ,"he can't switch the license plates", attempted to dewire the light post and fix it himself, and lied to my super. The driver did not assist with my move for more than 2 hours, yet Alex P had no problem charging us for the time there was only one mover working. Naturally when the police showed up, the driver admitted to what was done. Both the driver and the passenger were handling this matter for 45 minutes, which means, no one was working! To add insult to injury, when we arrived at our new place, the driver advised us we'd be charged the $150 fee for our apartment being "more than 50 feet from the moving truck". We measured, and it's 43.75 feet from where the truck was parked to our apartment entrance. While the driver gave us $30 off because "of the time spent with the police", I spoke with Alex about the issues of being overcharged for hours worked as well as the $150 "50-feet from moving truck" fee, and he said he would look into the videos and photos that further solidifed the evidence of being overcharged. It has been two weeks since my last call with him and three emails later with no response from him or anyone else who may be competent and understands the definition of customer service. I hope this review touches a handful of people who were considering Tiger Movers to assist with their move, and helps them see this is NOT THE BUSINESS TO ASSIST WITH ANY MOVING NEEDS and you would only be wasting your time and hard earned money.

  6. Run run run as far as you can come this moving company.

    We used them to move our items from California to Texas, it was the WORST moving experience of our families life (we move often for work) The company destroyed EVERY piece of furniture we have worked so very hard for. Damages came to over $30k - They refused to apologizes or take account for any wrong doing. On top of destroying everything they messed up the delivery time not once, not twice but 3 times, not that is mattered, when we FINALLY got our stuff from a STORAGE unit (not even our house, where it was suppose to go) every item was damaged. We then had to hire ANOTHER company to remove our items from storage to our new home. When we finally spoke to someone they gave us a lovely credit of $300. lol! $300!! Let me remind you, they ruined priceless furniture, expensive TVS, family heirlooms. Its a sad company, run by piss-pore people. For the safety of your family and your items, I highly encourage you to use another company. One with compassion and morals. It will save you months of crying over your hard earned items. Shame shame shame on this company & Tammy (Pssst) Horrible lady.

    PS --The driver of the truck who missed the delivery several times (because he said he went out and drank) then added us on facebook and harassed us because we reported him to the company. We were in fear for our life, because he knew where we lived & had the key to the storage still.

  7. DO NOT hire them!!

    They are not a moving company but a broker. Our original quote was $1400 we told them everything we needed to move and they increased the price to over $2000. They came 2 days after the date we had arranged to pick up our stuff. They came 4 days after the date we had arranged to bring our stuff out of storage. Our boxes were soaked and damaged. All the glassware broke and we padded it heavy! Plus our desk and shelf were missing. Worst communications skills. They never call you back or answer the phone you simply hope they will come one day with your stuff. There are so many options out there don’t go with this company!! Also don’t be fooled most good reviews on Google seem to be from fake profiles without profile pics. Click on the bad reviews and you’ll see these people had the same experience as me!! Save yourself from this headache.

  8. DO NOT, make the same mistake I made!

    By far, hands down, the worst customer service and moving experience I have ever received. I was blatantly lied to by the office staff who drew up my contract, I was OVER charged $631. At delivery, The driver of the truck, at drop off, from the minute he stepped out of the truck, was rude and down right mean. The story changes with every conversation when you talk to office delivery team, including the manger, who has no business being a manager, They have absolutely no regard for the customer. I was charged for, furniture, boxes and loose items that were not even on the truck for delivery. I have broken items in boxes that were marked fragile. my tv was clearly dropped, and damaged, beyond repair. This company does not care about you, your personal belongings or your money.

    I could go on and on, but you get the point.

    DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!

    They ripped me off, and they’ll rip you off!!

  9. This Comany Sucks!!

    My 81 year old aunt called them to come move her too another town and they told her one price then called back and told her a different price then one of the employees called her and told her not to listen to any one but him and called off his personal phone ! Then she called back and told them she was going to cancel cause she couldn’t afford the price after they quoted her three different amounts and told her that she would not get her deposit back ! So this company sucks how do you treat the elderly people like that !

    DONT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL !!

  10. This company is such a rip off!!

    They charged one price and then the movers showed up could not speak English except for adding fees apparently and tell me they are giving my stuff to another driver. Called Tiger Movers and they said they stand by their movers and the fees they charged. That is great for a company to do but I was totally ripped off. I had less than 288 Cubic Feet but movers they said I had more (Everything fit in my tiny apt dining room). Now 8 days later they don't know where my things are and could not get a hold of a driver. I have paid more in additional fees I could have driven myself, paid for relocation of my car and gas for the truck.

  11. I wish I can give them negative starts!!

    I am sharing two demand letters my attorney sent to Tiger Movers. Long story short, they underbid the job. If you want the full story, see the the (redacted) demand letter to John Allen, FNVL representative. Absolute hacks. They knew they underbid the job, and when John was confronted, he basically STOPPED ALL COMMUNICATION. After the third demand letter, we finally got a response. Basically, I was told to pound sand. I guess we are going to litigation.

  12. Worst Experience EVER !!

    Asked about a quote, and ended up getting verbally berated/harrassed by an employee named Jason. He said disgusting things toward my family and actually wished us harm! I will NEVER recommend this company after my experience and hope nobody ever has to suffer the emotional turmoil I did simply looking to get a quote to move! Negative ten out of ten, I am appalled!

  13. Bad Company!

    I was quoted a “discounted” rate to entice me and even though other companies thought I needed 3 guys, this company assured me I only needed 2 and they knew the building “very well” that I was moving into. It took them 9 hours to move a 1 bedroom apt 9 miles and I was charged $1150. And to top it off the movers added $100 in gratuity when I only authorized $50. They were seen by my friends smoking pot in their truck and when they were told not to leave a mattress I no longer needed in the dumpster by a condo maintenance man they flipped him off and told him they were leaving It anyways. I was fined $100 more due to their negligence there. When I called to complain, the lady basically told me “too bad”. Before they even got started, they were complaining it was a “3 man job” and when I asked if I should call for them to send a third guy, I was told by the driver that it “won’t matter anyhow because their goal is to stretch out the move as long as possible.” Last year I moved more stuff 25 miles to the condo I just moved out of and was charged half the price these guys charged. Total rip off ! These kind of companies cast a bad light on the entire moving industry.

  14. Horrible company!!

    Stay away from this company. They showed up 3 hours late for the moving appointment and gave no notice. Once I was moved in my tv screen was cracked. I submitted to be reimbursed for the damages which they denied. Their own employees talked bad on them nearly the entire time.

  15. Bad Experience !!

    Literally, go anywhere else if you want your money's value. The job was given a time of 1p-4p based on everything I listed to move. They showed up at 2:41p and the job completed at 7:40p with my prompting. At $189 per hour, they were beyond unprofessional. All my things didn't fit and they were not empathic about it. They put deep gashes in both my bedroom tall chests. They scratched the floors I had refinished 4 days prior to the move and denied it, although I saw it done (multiple deep scratches). To add insult to injury, they left my Crate and Barrel driftwood coffee table outside my garage for anyone to steal. It was too heavy for me to take it back inside. One big disappointment. A move is stressful enough. I should have went with any other company.
