  1. Amazing service

I have used True Friends several times for company apartments. They never disappoint. Very professional, courteous, and always on time. I like that they keep you posted throughout the whole process as well.

  2. Not your friend! Total Rip Off

True friends moving is truly not your friend. DO NOT use this company. They are scam artist and will bait and switch you low balling the estimate to get your business and then take almost twice as long and hit you up with hundreds of dollars worth of charges. I was quoted $1295 to move from a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath 1 car garage (the 3rd bedroom only had a desk and chest as it was my office).... only 2 people in my townhome barely 1500 sq ft They quoted 7 hours of work $1295 but took 11 hours And charged me almost $1900 from Bellevue to Brentwood. A damn rip off. When I called to complained the owner [NAME EDIT] said if you want us to stop working we can leave the stuff there if not we will keep charging you by the hour. He got you and knows you have no choice your stuff is in their truck so you are screwed! For being the owner he was a total JERk and couldn't careless. He was rude, interrupted me and unapologetic. I question how is that he can charge $600 more than quoted and he just kept saying how the quote can change... give me a break that’s bull a $600 increase is highway robbery. They charged my credit card on file and then changed the quote they gave online so there was no evidence of the original quote. And not only did they rob me and my daughter during the holidays of $600 but also broke my dining room table and refused to replace it only willing to fix it which doesn’t look the same. It cracked right in the middle because they didn’t remove the legs and take it apart. Instead they just loaded upright in one piece and placed boxes on top of it. The table cracked in the middle under weight and bent like a “M” you could hear the cracking of the wood as they tried to unload the boxes. They were negligent but are cheap and don’t care to do right by their customers. What a horrible experience a table that was practically new and only used about a dozen times. Oh and did I mentioned they were over 2 hours late the day of the move to begin with. [NAME EDIT] had said to leave the clothes in the dresser and that the guys would take down the tv’s and pack them up but when they arrived they said that was untrue and I had to pack things up which kept me from watching them load stuff the entire time. A couple of small items were also damaged in one of the boxes that was on top of the table when it broke and [NAME EDIT] would not reimburse me for them said they are not responsible for things they do not pack but if it would have been loaded correctly then they wouldn’t have broken since the items were all wrapped in bubble wrap and foam and the box said FRAGILE! I just wanted the nightmare to be over and not to continued to be billed. A friend came over and between the two of us and my daughter we began unloading the truck too and even had them leave clothes and boxes of shoes etc in the garage just so they could leave and all my stuff be off their truck if not who knows how many more hours they would have charged me for. We were doing their job!!! Don’t Trust this company with your personal items. Do not hire them to do your move unless you want them to rob you blind, break your stuff and treat you like crap! I will tell all my co- workers, friends, family, neighbors and post on every social media site my horrible experience so others are aware of the poor practices of True Friends Moving and how the owner [NAME EDIT] lacks integrity and doesn’t care about his customers. Karma is a you know what [NAME EDIT] and your lying and cheating your customers will catch up with you. True friends should go out of business!

  3. Thank you and look forward to my next move.

All 3 guys were great. They were fast and really took heart to my concerns and needs. They made everything happen with great care and friendliness. Your customer service team was excellent also. With all my changes and back and forth on dates; a beat was not missed. Thank you so much for all you guys have done. Thank you and look forward to my next move.

  4. Great service! Thanks guys.

We were having a tough time finding someone to assist us with our last minute move. The move was for my aunt. So she was stressed about the whole thing. True Friends helped out immensely. From the customer service at the front end of the job on helping us get everything taken care of to the day of the move on making everything work out smoothly. Thanks guys! Really appreciate your service and assistance. A life saver for me and my aunt.

  5. Amazing Job.

I was very nervous about using another company. I have been moved twice by a local mover and he is awesome, But was unavailable at the time we needed him..
The two young men you sent out
Were above and beyond professionals. They were nice, very efficient and those two men hustled till almost midnight.
I would highly recommend your company and I would use you again in the future if needed.
Thank you for making our move as easy as possible.

  6. Moving experience was poor.

I used this company in May 2019. The moving company personnel were friendly but perhaps too friendly. They did too much talking which resulted in more time for completing the move. They got side tracked often, including looking at a bird that lost its wings for over 15 minutes knowing that there was nothing that they could do. Hardwood floors were scratched in both homes, the one that we moved to and the one that we moved from. I tried to call and email the company but no response. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Be Leary and do not use them.

  7. Unsatisfied Customer.

Our experience with True Friends Moving was so disappointing to the point of frustration. 5 weeks after our move, we still remain unreconciled. True Friends came highly recommended by two trusted colleagues who used their services within the past 6-8 months. Unfortunately, due to our experience, we cannot recommend their services to anyone.

We talked with our Relocation Specialist, on 5 different occasions about our moving needs. Primarily, how important it was for us to be OFF PROPERTY by a certain time. Given this information, we were advised to have 3 movers come the day before to pack up the kitchen and prep the house for the next day’s move. Further, on the day of the move, it was suggested that we have 3 movers and 1 truck make two runs to complete the job. What actually happened was just the opposite.

The packing crew did not do an adequate job packing the kitchen. Besides spotting the haphazard manner in which they packed (evident by sugar pouring out of the bottom of a closed box) our dishes were not wrapped sufficiently. This contributed to the unbelievable amount of dishes and décor that was broken.

The packing crew packed the kitchen boxes too heavily (this was a direct comment from the moving crew).

The packing crew was to prep the house for the moving crew. Their task was incomplete, mainly due to running out of materials like shrink-wrap and blankets. At the recommendation of Relocation Specialist, the packing crew would also tear down the beds. However, this became problematic for the moving crew because they had a difficult time matching the hardware to the correct bed. As a result, I found the matching hardware and set up 3 beds, as well as assisted with the fourth.

On moving day, the foreman contacted Relocation Specialist to convey that the job was too big for 3 crewmembers and a truck. I received a phone call saying that they could not guarantee that the move could happen in one day. They were reminded, once again, that we needed to be off the property. Their recommendation was to send another truck and an additional 2 movers to get the job done. This, of course, would be at an additional cost.

The moving crew as professional, but VERY frustrated with the lack of information provided for them. Many of our belongings were damaged. Even after the second truck and 2 additional crewmembers arrived, my family assisted the crew by: 1) moving some of our own furniture out of the house, 2) due to the time constraints, moving our belongings off the premises and across the street to the neighbor’s yard. If we were not off the property, it would have forfeited the closing funds for both homes, 3) shrink-wrapping some of our own furniture and then removing it, 4) helping move our items into our new home.

This whole matter could have been less severe if: 1) someone from True Friends would have come out to see access the job, 2) the Relocation Specialists would have shared with the moving crew that we needed to be off premises by a certain time, and 3) the packing crew would have communicated with the True Friends office about our home and its contents to be moved, and 4) the packers and the movers were the same people.

At this juncture, we are still awaiting a settlement from the Claims Department. Better yet, it took a series of phone calls, voicemails, and 3 entire days to get a claim form. Unbelievable! Additionally, we submitted our claim, with all the documentation, pictures, signed contractual agreements, and supportive evidence, to the Claims Office on 3/29/19. We have had to personally call and call again to get an answer similar to, "We should hear something soon." The 7-10 day settlement review period is 4 days shy of an entire MONTH.

Having relocated/moved from three different states, with 3 kids and dogs, this is, by far, the worst moving experience we have had. The distance between the two houses? 7.63 miles.
