  1. Great Job 100%.

I needed a mover pretty last minute because of a job transfer to another state. I called 2 movers who wanted to up charge me for every little thing because of the short notice. I'm glad I called one more mover - United Worldwide Moving. They understood the stress I was under and explained the whole process and didn't add on a bunch of charges that the other guys where trying to do. All my stuff showed up on time and I couldn't be happier with a job well done. Thanks Guys!

  2. Negative Stars !! Avoid These Scamers.

Upon pick up they said I was off my cubic footage and said I had to pay another $435.00 . They kept my things in a ware house for a week when they said I was on its way. U can't hardley get ahold of them after they have ur money. They also hang up on you if u call. Then on delivery they charged me anorher $ 147.oo and if I didn't pay they would hold my things with extra charges. The man named John was completely rude and a cocky jerk about it and kept hanging up on me. So 2 different stories of extra charges. I also had an exspensive electric guitar with accessories that was missing. I filed a claim and called PD. Not sure if anythingwill be about it. This is wrong to do this when paying alot of money to trust people with ur stuff. im beyond angry and this company should not be in business!! Scamers and criminals! ! Uhaul for now on!

  3. Zerooooo Stars! Scammers!!

We paid a freaking $2,000.00 deposit in January of 2020 for a nice taking place from Arizona to Arkansas in May of 2020. The week of the move I never heard from anyone. I couldn’t get ANYONE on the phone to figure out what day they’d actually arrive. Then I started digging up info on the company and could tell it was fishy. I was forced to find another company on a Monday for a 1100mile move on Saturday. I cancelled in my allotted window but it was like pulling teeth to get a confirmation for this cancellation. It’s now been almost one month and they have yet to refund my money. I have been given excuse after excuse about where my money is so finally I’m letting the bank handle it. This company is a JOKE! Work at experience I’ve EVER had.. and for a living I Mystery shop score places on their service.

EXTREMELY unreliable, unprofessional and overall RUDE employees.

  4. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Midleading, Scammers.

Do not use United Worldwide Moving. They are absolutely unreliable. We set up our move from MI to CA. They arrived at our home to move our belongings out AFTER MIDNIGHT. They used a random, old box truck not associated with the company. The movers tried to get us to pay them CASH and said we owed much more than we were quoted.

Upon moving to CA, we gave them a 1 month notice about our move in date. They confirmed. One week before our move in, they said we gave them a different date and that our things "could be there this week, or the next. Usually within a few days of your requested date we get it there. We will call you when we load it up." NO CALLS CAME FOR OVER A WEEK AFTER OUR MOVE IN DATE.

We called and called. We constantly received excuse after excuse. Nearly a month has gone by, and we still DO NOT have our belongings. We have been in our empty apartment while this company disrespects their customers.

Finally, they give us a date that they will be here. They say our complex will not fit the truck they are sending, so we can pay $350 for a "shuttle" to take our things to our apartment - and then they charge $75 for every 7 steps that they must carry things up. So an additional $500 on top of the initial quote that supposedly covered everything. They are scammers. Our other option was to rent a Uhaul ourselves, but they will not held load or unload our belongings. We will not give them another dime, so that is our plan.

Of course, they tell us the truck will be here Thursday. We rent our Uhaul, take off work, free up our day - and then AFTER WE CONTACT THE COMPANY 24 HOURS IN ADANCE - something THEY told us they would do - we get notice that the truck has "a radiator issue and the delivery is looking more like Saturday".

Every single worker makes excuses, is unreliable, they do not care about their customers, and will try every tactic to try and get your money without putting any speck of quality service into their initiative. They should be out of business.

DO NOT USE UNITED WORLDWIDE MOVING.

  5. Lies, Misleading, Scammers.

If I could give less than one star, I would. Going to try and keep this review simple. This company is a scam and you will pay more than what was initially quoted. Our price went up four times for our move. The first quote was for $3200. We got another phone call two days before. We were told they wanted to review what the initial quote was for our things that needed to be moved and the price went up to $5600. The final time it went up was on the day they arrived and the charges went up another $8,000. We had no choice as our home was closing the next day and we had to be out of the home. To top things off, our things were not delivered for approximately 20+ days. Every time I would try and get an update I was told I had to pay more money before they would have our things delivered. I was then told to pay another $3600 upon delivery or our things would not be unloaded from the truck and that we would incur further expenses. Please, do yourself a favor and do not hire this company. They do not comply with moving company guidelines. People, please research and know your rights so that you are not a product of a scam. Research the company and definitely read reviews. There are far too many people who had to learn the hard way from crooks like these.

  6. Liars, scammers, and criminals.

Please read Conya's review for my review. The same thing happened to me. This company literally sent Discover a falsified binding agreement with altered data and my signature as well as a fake story about someone coming to my apartment and me sending them away. I literally can't believe these people are in business.

  7. Scammers!!

This company is a SCAM! I signed a contract, paid a deposit of $500, and called back the same day and cancelled. Holly, my representative, acted understanding and said I would get my refund back because I called within the timeframe. A few weeks later I noticed my card was still charged $500 so I disputed it with my credit card company. Well here I am today on the phone with my credit card company because they reapplied the charge. This company faked an agreement saying they arrived atmy pick up address (which they did not) on January 24 (this wasn’t even my date I agreed to move on) and said I cancelled that day. Saying they tried to negotiate a more reasonable offer! First of all I did not meet with anyone on January 24! The contract I signed in January and the contact they sent over to my credit card bureau ARE 2 DIFFERENT CONTRACTS! I have tried repeatedly to call Holly, my rep from this moving company. No answer. I am really thinking about getting a lawyer! This is ridiculous. Please read these comments and run!!

  8. Moving.

ABSOLUTE THIEVES!! Do not give them the opportunity to rob you! Upon pick up they increased the cost by over 400% and threatened to "leave my belongings in the street". In every way, this was the worst treatment I've ever experienced by any company. Don't let this happen to you.

  9. Do Not Ever Work With This Company.

Worst experience I have ever had for any good or service. I could write a very lengthy response but we will keep it short. Movers re-quoted us 4 times. Movers showed up a day late. Movers overcharged us and when asked for a partial refund for the inconvenience on a $7k move, they are so gracious to offer $50 for any inconveniences. Shame on me for relying on a company with very little experience in the moving industry.

  10. They STOLE my money.

I paid a security deposit to this company in December for a move that was happening in mid January. A week or so after I paid the deposit, I called to cancel my move with them. I was more than within the allotted timeframe allowed. First the "accountant" was EXTREMELY rude and yelled at my husband. We finally got them to agree to the refund and said it would be deposited in my bank within 7-10 business days. When I waited two weeks for it to hit my account and it didn't, I reached out again. They said they resubmitted it and gave me a transaction number for reference. To make a horrible story shorter, I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN MY MONEY BACK, and now they are not returning my emails or messages. They are scammers, thieves, and NOBODY should be doing business with them.

  11. Moving.

Horrible. They are complete scammers. They double the cost. Break everything and steal. I filed a police report with these fools. They stole my ottoman, bed, desk, table chairs and legs, kitchen supplies, etc. I am in complete disgust.

Horrible customer service and complete trash/ scumbags liars.

    Beware of this deceptive company!!

  12. Absolute Worst Moving Nightmare.

Like everyone I would say DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! 39 things broken and destroyed. Arrived and increased their fee by 600.00. Dumped my things into packing boxes. Not wrapped. Damage galore. Delivery date was a joke. Nightmare of daily calls. On hold for over an hour every call. Nasty customer service.

Damage and loss at .60 a pound. Ridiculous. They make filing a claim a nightmare so you give up. Literally I’ve been calling since Nov 20. It’s 2/17/20.

I would hire anyone before hiring these people again. I’m calling the BBB.

  13. ZERO Stars.

This company is literally a scam. Please avoid at all costs. I scheduled a move with them because their customer service people are really good. They said that I had up until 48 hours before the move to cancel with a full refund of the deposit I paid. Well, I canceled, weeks ago, and still haven't gotten a refund. I've called once a week trying to understand where my money is and every time they have a different excuse - "refunds aren't processed until Fridays", "Your refund was processed, but it takes 3-5 days to actually get into your account", etc.

They have stolen almost $1000 from me and I have no idea how to get it back short of taking them to court. I even have a signed contract saying that I was eligible for a refund! I can only imagine what would have happened if we'd actually gone through with using them for our move.

  14. Liars - Brokers - Don't Use.

It's a shame that people cannot be honest!

I was sold by Holly stating that they owned their own trucks and all the usual jargin to watch out for other companies, etc. I called, emailed and texted almost daily to discuss details and asked no less than 20 times, if they were a broker. I would have been fine with that if communication had been clear. Don't lie!!

I was quoted the wrong cubic feet, they sent another company to pick up my belongings. Driver arrived without a crew, in a rented Penske Truck, not company truck. Driver didn't know what he was picking up ad manager got on phone and said it would cost me another $3,200 to ship my stuff. They sent S&M Relo instead of United.

I had spent 3 weeks discussing inventory and even sent photos of the actual items, already packed & wrapped.

I had to send them away, report to my bank and fortunately, was able to recover my deposit by moving quickly.

So sad that the shipping industry is like this.

  15. These people are outrageously unethical, and don't care.

I wish I saw this before agreeing to use them. I told them I had a full 5 x 10 unit to be sent from TX to NY. They said they can offer a special piggy back deal and send me a lower offer. The agreement says 300 sq ft which I immediately questioned and they said it should be fine and won't be a problem. Two days before the move the guy in charge calls and wants to do an inventory and charge me an additional $1100. I tell him no and they say they'll pack 300 sq ft and leave whatever else.
