  1. Terrible experience

    Please do not hire this company, I was calling for 2 months to have my furniture delivered and they just kept telling me, Oh someone will be there in 3 days, never came or called me, called them back was told again that they will be there to deliver on the weekend , they never came or contacted me. This was going on for 2 months. finally after the 2 months ,they said they were coming btw 11am -1pm, well they showed up at 8pm in a 18 wheeler. An 18 wheeler cannot fit in the storage facility I had rented to be close to me and I told them they were going to a storage facility. Plus I was also paying this facility for 2 months. So, Me and my grandson had to help them walk & carry and put boxes in my car to the unit. I should have gotten paid to help move my stuff into the storage unit. My god I'm almost 70 years old I shouldn't be having to carry boxes to help them. What a disaster.

  2. DO NOT HIRE

    If you guys already hired them. Contact fmcsa. Make a claim. If you guys hired a company to move in their city contact your attorney general and make a claim against this company. I have been wondering where my belongings for the last 2 1/2 months. Can you get a contact with nobody. All their numbers that are online on their website are disconnected. Don’t play with him. Making claims. They are not licensed to be movers. They do not have DOT number

  3. Don't Hire These Guys.

    My experience was horrible from start to finish:

    They gave me a sliver of their truck for all my stuff at a very expensive price. My quote was doubled as a result on moving day.

    The truck broke down on the way to my new place and I didn't know where anything was for two days! No communication.

    There were a bunch of surprise fees before they would unload my stuff. Ended up spending an extra $350 on the fees.

    The manager, Sean, was an awful human being to me and refused to return my deposit after I tried to cancel within the appropriate period or give me a discount for the broke down truck.

    They damaged my things but the standard insurance would pay out so low there was no point putting in a claim.

    THEY ARE ONLY CONTRACTORS. THEY SOURCE OUT THE BUSINESS TO RANDOM MOVERS WITH NO NAME ON THE TRUCK. YOU DON'T KNOW WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH.

    Seriously, don't hire these guys. They are awful!

  4. Liars and thieves.

    Would like to give zero stars. They quote a price, send a binding quote, show up and demand more money than the original quote. I was stuck because my house was sold and I had to vacate so I paid them. I drove cross country. My new place was ready, I called them 10/24 to tell them I was ready for them to bring my household from storage. Its now Nov 13th, and I get a different story everytime I call. It was on the truck oct 26, it was in colorado October 30, it didn't leave NJ until November 6, it's coming today, it's coming this week, the truck ran into snow, the truck broke down, dispatch is surprised I don't have my stuff, the driver doesn't return calls.. I could go on but needless to say. DO NOT HIRE THEM.

  5. Never Delivered. No Refund.

    To whom it may concern:

    On May 25, 2019, we engaged US National Van Lines to deliver a furniture shipment to our customer, Ahmad Sultani, in Nebraska. US Van took possession of the furniture, accepted payment in the amount of $1,785 and represented to us that the furniture would be delivered in a timely manner. Unfortunately, US Van did not live up to its agreement and never delivered the furniture as agreed to.

    US Van held the furniture for nearly three months without the goods so much as even leaving the warehouse, promising over and over again that our delivery to Mr. Sultani was next on the schedule. In turn, we promised Mr. Sultani that delivery was on the way and there was nothing to be concerned about. Little did we know that US Van had no intention of ever making this delivery, but rather only had designs on stealing our $1,785 fee. On August 10, 2019, without notice or explanation, US Van returned the furniture to us undelivered. We have pictures of the furniture being dropped off and contemporaneous notes documenting the drop off. Upon receiving the goods back, the driver assured us that we would receive a refund for the shipping charge — after all, nothing was ever shipped. No work was performed. No services were rendered. The agreement was breached. We ultimately had to refund Mr. Sultani his purchase price, causing us to lose a major sale and income, not to mention suffering reputational damage.

    After not receiving a refund as promised, we contacted Chase to reverse the charge that was processed by US Van. Chase reversed the charge, but it now appears that US Van objected to this reversal even though US Van knew that it never made the agreed upon delivery and thus failed to perform under the agreement. US Van is not entitled to a dollar, let alone $1,785. US Van has no right to payment.

    We demand an immediate refund, failing which we will be forced to resort to litigation. And please note that we will not only sue you for the stolen $1,785 and our court costs, but we will also pursue you for the damages suffered as a result of lost profits. For good measure, you will also be reported to the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs, the NYS Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. Of course, we will also post on Yelp and other consumer sites a copy of this letter and the pictures of your driver surreptitiously dropping the furniture back to our store.

    Please be guided accordingly.

  6. Stay away from this company!! Don’t even try them!

    The tricky part about this company is that they give you cheaper estimates,
    We hired them to take our stuff from Minnesota to Missouri. They gave us an estimate, they came a day after the agreed day. When the driver came he added about $800 more to the actual price because our tv stand had glasses since we already booked we just agreed to the raise. The delivery date was august 13, they showed up on September 13. When we call to ask about when they will deliver, they were not picking up the calls unless we use a different number. Some things were broken and as per laws they were supposed to compensate when they keep your stuff for more than 30 days and also they have to pay the damages. Their phone does not work anymore for us!
    Never again and can’t recommend to anyone else! I wish this company goes out of business as soon as possible!

  7. Absolute nightmare, avoid these frauds at all costs.

    This company is a complete nightmare to deal with. We were repeatedly assured upon booking our move that our items would be moved directly from Chicago to LA, that we were adding on to a load already going out there to fill the truck, delivery would be immediate after transit times, etc. They said they would pick up our stuff during the day over a weekend, and showed up at 10 o'clock on a Sunday night, and proceeded to charge us nearly $1000 more than our initial estimate.

    Imagine our shock when we called at the end of our estimated delivery window and our items were instead in a warehouse in New Jersey, where they stayed for almost a month before this company could be bothered to deliver them. By the time we got our items, boxes were torn, totes were crushed, furniture was scratched, and the back of our couch was broken. Not only that, but instead of the professional moving truck they claimed to have, our stuff was delivered by two guys in a Dodge Ram 3500 towing a horse trailer.

    Nobody there cares about their customers, the managers will hang up on you. This company has done business (now that I've done my research) under several different names (google the address or DOT number) in the past, and in all honestly, operates as if there's something fraudulent or shady going on behind the scenes.

    Avoid them at all costs, it will only end in heartbreak. If you've already put your deposit down, charge it back or demand a refund, and if they refuse, don't keep going with the move. It's better to be out $300 now than go through it, I promise you. These people are frauds.

  8. Shame on me for nor reviewing, Don't let this happen to you.

    The draw to this company was the need for a mover that could provide storage for two weeks. They know how to draw you in with a low estimate, so called manager discounts, and free thirty (30) days storage. This move was from Pittsburgh PA to Medina OH. The movers came in four late from their three hour window of time. They're a moving company from New Jersey, US Moving Van Lines. The driver comes in filling out forms, adding additional charges, and wanting signatures. Remember, we had already contracted and signed with US National Van Lines. After furniture and boxes are loaded three hours later, the driver comes in and insist on an additional $1,339.30 above the money order that was already ready for him per terms of payment. Terms of payment with US National Van Lines are very clear and we had followed it to the letter. It's midnight and we give into their demands. Not disagreeing completely with the additional charge but the way the pickup was being handled. Not confident at all that things were on the up and up. This was only the beginning of this nightmare. Delivery was suppose to be on August 17, 2019. We are there waiting and they rescheduled for August 19, 2019. Again, on the 19th, no shows. This happened a total of five times. We had confirmation e-mails for each of these five delivery no shows. At this time, we felt forced to seek legal advice. More expense. After numerous phone calls during this six week period, delivery was finally made. Storage was suppose to be in New Hope PA but was told at one point that it was in New Jersey. It's appalling how this company, which includes owner, managers and customer service employees lie there way through this whole process. For what reason, it's not understood. The one positive was that they did disassemble and quilt wrapped furniture to protect, so we thought. Upon delivery, there was damage to the dining room table, book case and cube organizer shelf were totally ruined along with many glass items were broken. So, I end this with, don't use this company.

    URGENT warning to everyone. Stay away from this company unless, you want to have a NIGHTMARE experience from HELL. Will post full detailed review soon.

  10. Do Not Hire.

    This place is terrible they take your money and are not even at the address they have up on there website.(6542A Lower York Road, New Hope, PA 18938) Davidd is the one that I dealt with and I am still awaiting my refund from May 24th 2019. I received a call that week asking whether I would like them to pick up my stuff on 24 or 25th , I said 25th. They called on 24th while I was still at work and said they are in the area if they can come pick up my stuff. I reminded them that I was scheduled for the next day, when I called Arthur said that it is fine the driver will be there at 9am , they never showed and argued with us to wait for them to set another day. Like really? Never gave us our money back and kept sending refund confirmation which was invalid. They are a scam and something needs to be done to stop them from robbing people. BBB needs to do something , or somebody , this is Wrong!

  11. Never received the service requested or a refund of my deposit.

    I wish I would have done my research and avoided US National Van Lines.

    My move from Ohio to PA was scheduled for the end of July. I was promised my things would be picked up on Friday, July 26th. Since my lease on my apartment in Ohio was ending on July 28th, it was crucial that my things were picked up when promised so I'd have time to vacate the unit. They never showed on July 26th and no one contacted me to even tell me they weren't going to show up. I called US National Van lines several times that morning and no one answered. Around 3pm, about 5 hours after they promised a mover would be there, Aaron finally answered and told me that the pickup had to be rescheduled for Saturday. I reluctantly agreed and still no one showed up all day Saturday. I had to make last minute arrangements to get my things out of my apartment and moved to a storage unit so I wouldn't have to pay for another month's rent. This was very expensive.

    I then requested a refund from US National Van Lines and was told that I would be able to receive one. I've tried calling several times to check on the status of this refund and I've either gotten no reply or have been told that the refund would be processed. I still have not received the refund. I'm assuming they just decided to keep my deposit even though they did not deliver on the promised services, which is incredibly unprofessional.

  12. You Decide.

    I contracted US National Van Lines for my move across country. Pick up crew was almost 10 hours late arriving and charged extra for things I thought were part of the initial estimate practically doubling the price. The crew too great care in packing, but had to be reminded of things left behind. While I was told the delivery would occur within 14 days, they never showed. After almost 70 emails and texts and 4 separate promises for delivery, they showed up 53 days after pick up. The operations manager, although polite and understanding, either had no concept of where my furniture was (told me on more than one occasion it was on the way, then that it had left the warehouse only to find out he was wrong) or the tracking system used by the company is terrible. When the delivery was finally confirmed to be on a truck, I was told by the company that they had no idea why it took so long to deliver. I asked for a discount on the remainder and the operations manager told me he had to check with the owner, but that he thought that was a reasonable request. When the shipment arrived, the driver said he didn't know anything about the discount. I asked him to call the owner who said he never heard from the operations manager. So after 53 days we received our delivery..and some items that weren't ours. When I told the driver that some things were not ours he asked me just to throw the boxes away. I refused and he put them back on the truck and said he would just dump them at the truck stop. So if you are missing any items they are probably in a dumpster somewhere in the Western US. I sent a message to the company so they would know what their contract drivers were doing with people's property, but got no response. There is a lot more to this story, but you get the idea. Decide for yourself, but plan on at least 30% more than what they quote. Don't expect shipment on time. And hope that your items aren't stuck in a warehouse in New Jersey for two months because the delivery crew is on vacation in Puerto Rico for a month (the driver told me this was why it took 53 days). So decide for yourself if you have a few thousand extra to pay this company and if you are willing to wait an unbelievable amount of time for your belongings.

  13. Can I give this company zero stars?

    I contracted US National Van Lines for my move from Lowell, MA to Derry, NH in May 2019. This was a terrible mistake. Not only was the company unprofessional in all the ways mentioned in other reviews below (late, didn't communicate, didn't have enough space for what they quoted on the truck, tried to double the charges upon arrival, etc) they're using a NY office affiliate as their "contact information" including DOT info, when these guys actually operate out of a Florida office. Upon calling the NY office, you'll be told they know all about the poor practices of the FL operation, however, there's not much they can do since it's just an affiliate. Who knows if this is accurate..

    In addition to the nightmare service, they charged my credit card 3x the agreed-to amount, and were never able to provide a refund. They kept telling me they were working on it, and each time, a new charge would appear rather than a credit. I finally had to file a fraudulent activity report with my credit card company in order to get the money back into my account. I sent a letter to the NY franchise owner via email, explaining this is terrible for his company's reputation (just look at all the awful reviews) and I never received a response. This company is the least professional, most poorly run organization I've ever seen. Either that or they're knowingly committing fraud. Either way, don't do business with them.

  14. Move from Ohio to Mississippi.

    Driver did not show up on move day said hey you didn't answer your phone so I went on to the next job. What company does that?
    Went with another company came next day and did an amazing job. I only hope one day to see US national van lines out of business as they deserve.

  15. Do Not Use This Company!! Please Beware!

    ZERO STARS!! DO NOT HIRE!! This company will take your money, take your belongings and cut off all telephone contact with you. Mark is the owner and would not get on the phone to discuss the many problems I had with my move. Aaron, the person answering the calls actually hung up on me. This company ended up making me pay double (Richard gave me the estimate) of what he quoted. I even called him a few days before to confirm the belongings I had and how much it would be. The day they show up they give you a price that isn't what was quoted then you have no choice but to pay because the move was booked and planned. They are so responsive before they get your money. After that you cannot reach them. They were more than two weeks late delivering my stuff from NJ to AZ. They couldn't even give me an ETA! They stopped answering my phone calls, texts and emails. All Richard said was, I will give you info to billing and see if we can come to an agreement to compensate you for the lateness. After that they stopped taking my phone calls. I had my friend call so they wouldn't recognize the number and they hung up on him too. When my stuff finally did arrive all the boxes were crushed badly and the file cabinet I had was completely mangled. I have boxes that are missing. I am so happy I don't have to deal with these people again. I don't have the energy to fight to get my money back. They were a nightmare. All the responses they are giving to these reviews are disgraceful. They should be out of business. They lie so don't believe any response to any of these reviews or believe anything they say over the phone. Their word means nothing. They have no conscience. Please don't hire these people and save yourself a lot of money and heartache. Aaron Cohen is the one who hung up on me and my friend. This company is unprofessional and has no respect for people or personal property.
