Making A Move As Stress-free as Possible
I had to move some items from Florida to New Jersey.. They were antiques given to me by my mother's estate that have been in my family for decades.. when looking for a mover I found Value Added Moving..they gave me a competitive price ..they were thorough when explaining the procedures... their movers came and they were great ..they treated my belongings like their own . Delivery was a little late but everything arrived in the same manner they left..I couldn't have asked for better service
Locked in early
Even in the midst of the craziest moving season ever. Corona Virus, rising inflation god knows what else. Value added moving locked in an honored a rate for me. Even when the day of the move came and I had way more space than originally planned for. The movers only charged me at the rate locked in months earlier.
Thankful that the guys helped explain to me what was really important in booking the job.

Move from California to Florida
Moved from San Francisco to south Florida. Victor helped me get the most reasonable quote. I had a lot of belongings that were all fully packed carefully and meticulously. They gave me an accurate time frame for delivery. Very profesional.
My Saviors On my Last Minute Relocation to Florida
I was notified by my company that I had to relocate to Florida from Orange, CA and I had to be in Florida in 7 days. I was scrambling trying to find a moving company that could accommodate such short notice. I found Value Added Moving (By the grace of God). Not only did the truck show up on time John and Ryan did a great job. They were able to pack my entire apartment up in 3 hours and were extremely careful with my belongings. From the office staff to the movers Value Added Moving did a great job !!!
Rip off
Horrible company don’t waste your money. They “lock” you in on a price but then they hire the worst company to pick up your things where they charge double the amount and then when something goes wrong they now have nothing to do with it. I am definitely suing this company for hiring Ernest movers to pick up my things and I am also suing this company. Don’t wast your time or money in these people. All the other reviews with 5 starts are fake.
Moving Experience
I had to move my entire 4 bedroom house from CA to NC and this was my first time using a service like this so I had no idea what to expect but was pleasantly surprised and put at ease for the entire process by how well this company handled everything for me and I didnt have to worry about a thing. All went smoothly and now me and my family are happily here at our new house in NC!

Had nothing but a pleasant experience. Always available to help and answer any question I had, at a competitive price, I can ask for nothing more.
Refused to return deposit
I get quoted for 700 sq feet of space but then movers came in and said I will need double that and will require an extra $5000. I said no and wanted to cancel but value added moving refused to give my $1700 deposit back even though no work was done. Customer service representative should not be taking down payments if they have no experience on understanding how much square footage of space is needed depending on the items I described over the phone. It’s one thing to be off by a little bit, it’s another thing to misquote double the space.
On top of that, they refused to speak with me saying that I needed to “remove my negative rating first then we can talk”. They really care about their positive reviews to lure more people in. Don’t believe the high review ratings you are seeing.
Thieves and liars
Do not trust anything these people say. They’re crooks. Talked to [NAME EDIT] to make initial reservation over a month out but asked him numerous times about canceling and getting my money back because I had been looking at buying a truck. They only gave me half my deposit back ($450) with a promise to give me the other1/2 the next week after I begged them and told them the bad situation I was in. When I called back, the owner was combative, flat out laughed at me and told me ‘Goodluck’. Don’t use these people. They’re sociopaths.
SCAMMED OUT OF DEPOSIT
This company will scam you out of your deposit money!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO for a quote. They will tell you it is refundable-that is a LIE! They will keep it! They kept $450 of our money and two other people I talked to were taken for more money. The owner lied and he KNOWS his employees lie to get your money. Long Distance Move
Moved from Long Beach, CA to Pompano Beach, FL. They answered all of my calls to there customer service line. Their Customer Service Representative Harry was very helpful in answering any of my questions for I had many! They locked me in with a fantastic rate only three weeks before my move date. I Highly recommend Value Added Moving for any long distance moves leaving California!
Love Them
Love them gave me a fair rate reached out before the move to double check my inventory. On the day of the move I had had a few extra boxes the driver had no issues tacking them. Like most people not my first move most of the time moving is so stressful and annoying. Not with Value Added from the sales team to the customer service team to the movers that picked my stuff up . Every question I had answered every concern eased.
