  1. Unprofessional. Scammers. Zero communication.

They had me change my work schedule last minute to meet them and then still ended up being 2 hours late. Zero sense of urgency. Used my bathroom without my permission didn’t flush left hairs on the seat. Did not follow simple directions to wrap items. Took my deposit over the phone and literally disappeared right after. Not a single word when I would call, text, email.. zero communication. Stay away from these scammers they give veterans a bad name. I paid all of their extra fees, was asked not to purchase a Groupon, changed my schedule for them numerous times. Moving is already stressful as is and these people are awful and only make it worse. You have been warned. $400 for a local studio apartment move should have been done in 2.5 hours max. They went way over and cause a ton of inconvenience to my work schedule, the storage units business hours ... etc. Just hell. Stay away at all costs.

  2. Deceptive business practices !! Avoid at all costs

Company is extremely unprofessional & deceptive. Management shifts the blame upon 3rd parties and refuses to make any exceptions even when they’re the ones who made a mistake. Avoid this company at all costs , there are way better movers in the DFW area.

  3. Missing Box, No Response to my Complaints

I used Veterans R Moving Us for a recent move. I called to report a missing box and left four unreturned messages for management to contact me. I followed up with an email and received an email response from an Operations Manager, but to date no one from the company will call me to discuss the matter, even though in my email response to the Operations Manager I asked him to call me. The box contained my jewelry. The moving team did not provide a box count when they packed the truck or when they unpacked it. Based on my customer service and moving experience, I regret using this moving company and discourage others from entrusting their belongings.

  4. Do Not Use This Company

My nephew set up the move for me and they gave us a quote, and we agreed to two men and the cost. They were on time for the move. When the movers were finished the driver told me the balance due less the $100.00 deposit, and I paid him. The amount I authorized hit my credit card and they also hit it for $130.00 more. When I called them they wouldn't return my call. My nephew answered a text that was sent to him and the owner authorized the person to offer us $65.00 back on the third person they charged us for, and it would be credited back to my credit card within 24 hours. It still is not there and they will no longer take our calls.According to the BBB website they have 10 complaints with the better Business Bureau so only use them if you want to get ripped off. They should be ashamed pretending they are veterans and putting a mark on the men and women that actually fought for our country.

  5. Stolen Property.

Do not use this service!! They stole an expensive sound system from my home while moving me. When I started calling about it they blocked my number. When I sent a message stating I would be filing a claim w/ Dallas PD they had an uber driver drop it off in a cardboard box. Very unfortunate experience, wouldn't wish it on anybody.

  6. Worst Move of my Life.

If I could give no stars I would. First off the workers are unprofessional. I had 3 and only 1 really worked. He got so frustrated he walked off the job and returned 20-30 minutes later. I understood his frustration because he was really busting his butt while 1 agrued and talked to his girl on the phone. The other he was trying but was so tired because they just got done with a job and he was not physically fit. They argued among each other during the move. They stripped my table leg, broke several of my moving totes, and got lost coming to my new location. The guys were trying to hit on my daughter. The only good thing was the 1 worker was very apologetic and he really tried his best to make the move quick because of all the things that happened. However, he is only one person. Management acted concerned, was supposed to discuss discount on rate but stopped excepting my calls. Worst move of my life. Worst experience of my life. I am reaching out to someone to see what I can do legally with everything that took place and not holding up on their end of the bargin. I would never recommend this company for anything. WORST MOVE OF MY LIFE. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.

  7. They broke my tv.

They broke my 55" tv and won't pay for it. First, they said they weren't liable, then they offered pennies on the dollar. I only wanted $300 reimbursement which is more than far. And to top it all off, their price was about double what they quoted me.

  8. Moving.

I moved a 1-bedroom from Frisco to Southlake.I surveyed multiple companies for quotes and Vetetans R Moving Us gave a competitive quote along with an in-person estimate. They were prompt in terms of the timing and facilitated an end of month move.

There was no issue or damage with furniture moved including a dresser and a couch. The self-packed boxes did not have an issue. The movers were friendly in reconciling the lists on both ends. In addition, once the truck was moving across the country, you received an email with a daily update on where the truck was. I would recommend the company for another move.

  9. Move.

I found Veterans R Moving us online and I talked to them and other companies. I felt like they were going to give me the best deal for the best price. I had to take pictures so I went around my room with my iPad and did that. Veterans R Moving Us was able to estimate how much we needed as far as packing materials go and how many pounds they thought it was going to be. They told me the cost and then, they told me that I have steps and it would be $25 extra but they didn’t charge that. It was much easier than I thought because nobody even had to come to the house to do anything.

The moving crew was professional. They arrived early and on time, and got to work and packed all our things. It was smooth. They worked hard, they worked well as a team, and got the job done. Plus, our household goods arrived here safely. We don't have the keys to one of our cabinets though, and I asked about that. Nobody has gotten back to me. They didn't have it taped inside the cabinet, underneath or in one of the shelves. So, we've had to figure that out on our own but I called the company to tell them that. I would recommend Veterans R Moving Us. They did a great job.

  10. Do Not us Them.

I had a horrible experience with this company. The woman who answers the phone Angie/Angela, booked a job with me, had me text her a list of my furniture, and gave me a quote. When the movers arrived, they began to add additional charges because I had a washer/dryer, plastic wrap, stairs, etc. They were also unable to move the plants on my balcony. When I texted Angie a list of my items after booking, she never told me anything would be an extra charge. I also had to find someone to help me move my plants after paying for movers.

After all of my things were moved, I realized I was missing a large piece of furniture. I immediately contacted the movers., they looked on the truck but said they did not have it. I followed up with Angie for three days in order to speak with her manager/owner to get a resolution for my missing furniture. NO ONE EVER CONTACTED ME. Now I have to pay for my furniture that "disappeared." I understand that things happen, but the fact that no one ever tried to contact me after I called, texted , and emailed the company is unacceptable.
