  1. WrongWay Moving Company

Horrible experience! Hired 3 men and only 2 out of the 3 did most of the work. Some of my items were scratched and damaged. The worst experience yet. Didn’t start moving things until after 0920 and had my start time at 0900 on the form. The guy Roberto Otero got upset when I had him update this. I filled out a questionnaire and said they were worthy of a $10 tip, yet only one was deserving of more than that. The poor guy hauled my sofa up the stairs alone. 3.5 hrs of slow business, with a charge for shrink wrap and trip fee totaling $550. PLEASE, know this is the “wrong way” to go if you’re looking for a professional sufficient move. I hope this helps!

  2. Beware!

My wife and I used this company to move from Dallas to Waco, had a great experience with them overall! HOWEVER we after deciding to use them a second time was a BIG mistake and let me first say that the crew was once again top notch. The down fall was with the sales/management individual who decided to not honor the contract we had with them in writing and agreed upon truck size and load, and in their inf-anent wisdom decided that they should charge and extra $500.00 and actually hold our belonging and refused to unload until we paid them in cash and this was at 11:00pm. Short to long is that we will NEVER use this company again. And am warning other consumers about their less-then ethical business tactics.

  3. Terrible moving company.

CONSUMER BEWARE!! The only reason they are getting a star is because the actual movers were great even with the deck stacked against them. MILITARY FAMILIES BEWARE. DO NOT USE THEM, as a military wife of 17 years I dealt with a lot of moving companies, this company is the ABSOLUTE WORST. Arron Hernandez, the coordinator is rude, incompetent and should be fired. I spoke with A.H./ A.. Hole in early March to schedule my move for April 18th, . I told him the main reason for hiring them was because I needed packers to pack up 20 or so pictures; my husband and I collect original artwork. I explained that husband recently had surgery and had weight restriction on how much he could lift. After reviewing everything he told me 50/hr for the packer and 100/hr for the movers. A.H. called the day prior to confirm the appointment. The movers show up instead of the packers, they had no boxes ,or supplies to safely transport my pictures . When I finally spoke with A.H. he thought it was amusing that he forgot to send the packers and stated they could pack for me..uh not at 100/hr. If he wanted to do that I felt he should adjust my price. He arrogantly stated that he wasn't going to do that. I asked him if I could speak to his supervisor and he hung up on me. One of the movers called the supervisor and he was no better. They kept trying to tell me that it was cheaper to allow three movers to pack and move me because it was 3 of them. The move was a total disaster, ALOT of my belongings that wasn't packed are still at the old house AND they broke the glass out of the biggest most expensive piece of artwork I own..why because they didn't have it packed right because of A.H.'s incompetency. The movers themselves got the glass replaced and returned my picture to me the same day( hence the one star). I understand that mistakes happen but if you make one be responsible enough to try and accommodate your customer the best way you can, not just say oh well and be arrogant about it. a $500 job (including packing and moving) turned out to be $700 because I paid 100/hr for them to pack. I was stuck between a rock and a hard spot and they knew it. I will be posting this post on the website military families use to look for movers to make sure the are aware if this companies practices. This company should be named wrongway or rudeway moving because that's exactly what they are.

  4. Great experience from start to finish.

I had such a positive experience with Wrightway Moving Company.  We had some issues with closing our homes and had to change our moving date/time twice (one with very short notice).  Aaron and Tonya in the office were so kind and understanding and really worked with me.  They called to check in and get updates and were so professional.  On the morning of the move, the crew showed up on time.  The three men worked very quickly and efficiently.  They handled fragile items and boxes with care and wrapped all of my furniture to be sure it wasn't damaged.  They moved a 2 story house as well as a storage unit in a very timely manner even though it was pouring down rain for most of the move.  They were very professional and courteous.  All of my items were moved without any damage.  I can't say enough nice things about Wrightway!!   I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.  Ask for Ivan's crew!

  5. Sooo Unsatisfactory.

As soon as the 4 men arrived, I immediately got an unsure vibe from them b/c 2 of the movers were young boys (probably a little brother or son toolder ones) that spoke little to no english, the older two were not very friendly at all. One of them snapped at me when I politely stopped him as he was caring my antique bench (over 100 years old) on his head & asked him to please wrap bubble wrap around the legs & to not stack anything on it but he felt like I was telling him how to do his job when in fact I was just trying to protect my furniture. Their communication was very limited - they did what they wanted, when they wanted & how they wanted, instead of asking me how I might of wanted my things moved or even considered what pieces were most valuable. They had to remove a bedroom door frame in order to get 1 piece of furniture out of the room & did not put to frame door back afterwards. They broke the headboard of my bed (snapped it half). Although they have insurance, the owner Eric is very good at talking his way out of claiming resposibility for dmaged items. The list goes on but overall it was a horrible experience & I will never use them again.

  6. So conscientious to take care of the furniture.

I just want my sincerest gratitude to the moving crew that helped us move a king bedroom set this weekend.  They were exceptional!  The team was so conscientious to take care of the furniture so that is would not be dinged or scratched.  They wrapped all the pieces.  Additionally, they were very careful when whening the furniture into our house.  We have wood floors and they were very careful about not scratching our floors as well.   The crew was fast, efficient, very conscientious, and polite.  They sure made moving look easy and light (even though we know it is not).  I could have not asked for a better crew.  If we have to move anything again, we definitely want this same crew!  Please tell Pedro and his team how much we appreciated their help!

  7. Highly Recommend.

Wrightway did an excellent job moving me!  I had so much stuff and was so overwhelmed.  They made it easy.  The sales rep was very informative and took her time with me and the crew was super nice and handled everything with care.  I highly recommend this company and the rates were the best for the quality I could find.

  8. Not exactly what I expected.

The movers showed an hour late and my move took 13 hours to finish.  I had to call another moving company on the day of my move because the hot tub was too big and they didn't have a truck to fit it.  The size of the hot tub was told to the sales person over the phone upon reservation. The company didn't send enough men to do the job in a reasonable amount of time even though, the size of the house plus the extra details that would help them to decide, were told upon reservation.  The movers were very polite, considerate and worked very hard.  My frustration lies with the fact that they underestimated the amount of stuff we had being in a small house.  Had they had someone come out and look at it, they might have known better. AND the icing on the cake: the movers politely asked for a tip at the end of the move and even suggested a percentage amount. AND my move cost was double almost triple what I expected! Go with the movers who guarantee a time frame in which to move you and cost.  .

  9. Professional Moving.

The crew that moved us was amazing!! They were very polite, quick, and efficient. If I ever move again this is who I will call! I recommend this moving company to everyone that needs a mover.  I am unable to move furniture myself.  I also have a budget to maintain. The moving crew moved all my furniture and I stayed in my budget.  This was a great experience for moving and took much stress off me! .
