  1. Great Services!

    This team of movers is by far the greatest that I have used in my 24 years in the Army. I highly recommend using American Home Relocation. I will be stress-free moving with them again if needed! 5 stars! Keep up the great work.

  2. Highly unprofessional and rude

    April 30th, they showed up 5 hours after pickup window. Did not assist in loading the truck. Charged an extra $300 for going over estimated square footage but instead of placing it with the overall bill, the drivers took it as a tip. Didn't leave til after midnight and the driver, Aubrey was rude and disrespectful.

    We were told to give them 14 days to process and prepare delivery. Our requested delivery date was May 26, 2021. We called after the two weeks and couldn't get through to the company. We had to contact the initial company who brokered my job, In-Motion Movers LLC out of West Palm Beach, FL. We didn’t receive an update from them for about 3 days. When we finally made contact with AHR, we were told we had a unpaid balance which increased by $1300 from the original price, which was $2500. The manager was given the phone and he was disrespectful and rude with no concern for the missing $300 payment or increase that was not communicated at pick up. May 25th, the updated balance to be placed on dispatch list was paid. I was told it would be on the next trip out to California. Possible drop off was June 24th, which is their legal 21 day before a daily discount is applied. I call daily and each time I’m told it's on the dispatch list but no delivery date has been determined.

    I asked for a release form 3 times and it was never sent. They require me to pay the drop off balance of $1000 to release my items.

    This whole process has been more than stressful and this business along with their staff have been a complete nightmare.

    I DO NOT RECOMMEND EITHER COMPANY TO ANYONE! I also reported to the BBB where they have no accreditation and one star. No response.

    If I ever receive my furniture, I'll post an update on if things are damaged or missing.

  3. WARNING ⛔️ ⚠️

    American Home Relocation- Moran Eli Hasut (owner) Pick up May 09, 2021 requested delivery May 14, 2021, delivered July 6, 2021. Poor customer service, Tara “billing specialist” attempted to send a new invoice 30 days after original (paid in full 5/14/2021) invoice stating “I made a mistake”. American Home Relocation via email stated “would pay $9.99 per day for every day furniture not delivered per contract. At delivery, all but three pieces of furniture broken, torn, all hardware and legs lost to all pieces of furniture. Per contract furniture was disassembled/reassembled by American Home Relocation. Also, at delivery mover fell off truck lift with entertainment/fireplace center.

    Upon contacting “Eli” about monies due per email of $9.99 per day, states “you’re delivered, we will not be paying you!” No further responses from emails or calls from either American Home Relocation or United Movers.

  4. DONT DO IT!!

    My belongings were picked up on May 17, 2021 from my home in Florida. Today is July 22, 2021 and I still do not have my belongings.

    I have called both Gold Standard Moving and Storage and American Home Relocation, more times than I can count. They told me just today, that they are working on my move, it’s a hard location. Well excuse me, but the first questions I was asked is where I was currently, followed by where are you going. You knew you couldn’t get my belongings to me when you took the job! This company is sickening, I don’t know how they sleep at night with all the lies they tell. I have asked to be told where my belongings are such that I can pick them up and all they say is “it’s in our Florida warehouse”. I ask for the location so I can pick them up myself. They say do you want a release? I WANT MY THINGS!!! They have told me three times that they would send a release. I have not seen one yet! Then they say you still have to pay the balance. Excuse me but, the balance is for services rendered and you have not rendered any services! I could have stored my things in my Florida home. I didn’t ask for a storage. I paid for the delivery of my items. Eli told me 6 weeks ago when they asked for an additional $500 that the broker said I didn’t have to pay, that my things would go out with a load he had going to Washington. This has been so stressful. Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Do not use brokers. Find a reputable moving company. They will charge more but it’s worth it to have a peace of mind. This company will quote you low and then add additional charges to your bill after you’re loaded. They pretty much hold your belongings hostage. I don’t know how they are still in business, oh I know because they change their name once they are found out. This company is operating under about 3 different accounts. BEWARE, it’s a scam!

  5. HORRIBLE experience!

    This company goes by Handle With Care (using the name of a reputable company in California that is not linked to them). My review below is purely based on facts, not emotions:

    - They have not delivered my things (as of 7/21) that were supposed to be delivered on July 2nd. Even worse, they aren't able to provide me with a delivery date and every time I call, they just tell me to be patient. It is extremely hard to reach their dispatch department and when they finally pick up the phone, they put me on hold for 20-30 minutes.

    - The company DOESN'T KNOW WHERE MY THINGS ARE.

    - When they picked up my things, there were a lot of hidden fees (i.e. they charged for packing materials and fuel over those materials!).

    - The company never told me they were brokers.

    - The company doesn't provide the information needed to pick up my goods from their warehouse and the location of my goods is unknown.

    - They are asking me to sign a release form that obligates me to pay the full remaining balance (although I would pick up the goods myself) and it would also obligate me to release the company from any and all claim(s) for the loss or damage to any and all of my property.

    - I asked for proof of insurance and they haven't provided.

    - Customer service personnel is very rude

    I'm glad I did. Not only did they save my dollars, but they were also really good! They arrived on time and worked very hard. They are extremely efficient and careful. They took apart the beds and assembled them at the destination. I will use them again and highly recommend them.

  7. Great Experience

    Awesome crew. Packed everything carefully and quickly. Moving is pretty stressful, but the guys made the experience bearable. Good communication, prompt arrival, extremely nice packing, solid handling of several large pieces of furniture, flawless assembly, and disassembly. We felt in strong, steady hands. I would have no hesitation in recommending these guys to everyone!

  8. Do NOT use them

    My 81 year old Father-in-law still has not received his belongings that were picked up in Indiana on 4/29/21. These folks are very difficult to get in contact with. When he actually talked to someone named Brittany, all she can tell him is they are working on getting his stuff delivered. They are trying to charge him an extra $1000 for storage when he provided an Extra Space storage address in Georgia.

    He’s been paying for an empty storage space in GA since late April.

    Then Brittany called my father in law last week asking if he still wanted his belongings. What a condescending question? When she said he had to pay the remaining balance plus the $1000 storage fee, he asked her how can he trust that he’ll get his things since he’s had such a tough time with them, she said that she would send an email confirmation. My father in law said his lawyer would like to see it as well, so then Brittany hung up on him. I don’t know if the 5 star reviews are paid for. Or family and friends are posting positive reviews on this company’s behalf.

    Do your due diligence and investigate before you select a mover. Read all the negative reviews. We wish we would have read the negative reviews on American Home Relocation. And also the broker needs to be held accountable as well. US Pro Moving and Logistics LLC is the broker that my father in law used. They have horrible reviews too. They have not been of any help to him. All they can say is they weren’t aware of American Home Relocation’s bad business practices. US Pro Moving shares the responsibility in this situation.

    Job done on schedule, goods transported carefully and without damage, and good communication from the driver. What could have been such a stressful day was made so simple.

  10. Fabulous Mover

    American Home Relocation did everything they said they were going to do. They were on time and seemed to know how to tag-team the job to keep things moving and not have any lapse in time where you might be charged extra time. They took care of our furniture and home and were courteous and polite. I highly recommend American Home Relocation.

  12. Rude, UNPROFESSIONAL, and don’t abide by contact

    I hired a broker that I was told and assumed they where the transport because of the luring name of Expo Van Lines. They coordinate moves (which they don’t make clear) but tell you to check there reviews and the DOT # (another lying technic). I don’t know it’s was another moving company until they arrived at my house loaded my things packed the truck and came with a invoice with a additional charge of $700 because I was quoted on Pounds vs cubic feet. I then called Expo Van Lines and asked how when they quoted and guaranteed me up to a certain pounds. This is when I found out they was a broker. ? The mover agreed to waive it for a $100 tip. I just couldn’t turn back. My things was loaded on the truck and I was ready for my move.

    My things was supposed to be delivered May 27th. I contacted American Home Relocation on the status on my delivery because remember Expo Van Lines asked me what day I wanted it delivered. Now I find out that this was a EXPECTANT delivery date and they have legally 21 BUSINESS days to deliver your items before they start refunding $9.99 a day. Idgaf about the money! I paid to get my things delivered.

    Fast forward.. FRIDAY was the LEGALLY 21 business day. I STILL haven’t received my things nor a call from this moving company. All calls has been initiated by me. I’ve called these people every week to get a update being when I called May 27th she told me it shouldn’t take the 21 days. The only information they provide me with is.. “it’s on its way ma’am. No information on who the driver is nothing. My hands are tied. I just don’t know what to do at this point. I just want my things

    Update 06/29 I just received my things 06/28 at 6am Monday questioning when my items would be delivered. I received a call from the driver at 10:30 am today instructing he will be here at 2:30pm (no heads up) you are on there time. If you wait you have to pay for the driver to wait or lord if you needed to give your job notice you would be fired. I received a call at 5:30 pm from Tara a cs rep saying she was following up on the email received yesterday. I told her my things was delivered and she sounded surprised and “said your things was delivered today”? I asked did she know? She then in return tried to clean it up as if she knew. I thing asked regarding the contract stating she was calling in regards to the email sent yesterday morning. I asked about the refund but she continued to state that’s why she was calling. She then told me I’m not going to get snappy with her because I am no longer a customer! Ha.. when was I EVER tested like one! SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND STRESS! Don’t say you was not warned!!

  13. My stuff not received do not use this company

    They picked up my stuff on April 13th even after calling them everyday fir my stuff the staff was so rude. I did not get my stuff till June. My stuff was delivered by some random people who rented a truck and delivered. My boxes broken. When I had time to go through my boxes. Six boxes and storage full of my China dinner sets, my serving bowls and my silver anklets, bbracelets are all missing. I took me years and lot of money to collect antique vintage dinner sets. Wonder if they stole my stuff and sold it. Very very upset about this. Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR THINGS.

    This is the worst moving company in the world do not use them all your things will be broken. They unprofessional and they take months to bring you your furniture

  15. Lost/Broken items

    PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. after 2 months I finally received my belongings, when delivered I had a headboard and footboard with no matching rails, I received fireplace insert with no entertainment center to put it in, Missing boxes and the boxes i did receive looked like they had been through a tornado with a lot of broken glass, my Grandma's table came broke into pieces, every wood item was scuffed and deeply scratched, when i called the company to complain the manager very disrespectful and even cursed me.
