Dishonest Practices
I doubt any positive reviews about Ark Moving Group are legitimate. Avoid this company like the plague. They will say anything to get the business, lying about costs and lying about delivery time (told me 3-7 business days). They then had Moving Solutions Van Lines handle the move (without telling me) who also engages in depictable practices and slipped in a different contract. Once the moving crew had all my items on their truck, they told me the cost was another $2,100!! Then they held my items for 6-weeks, while repeatedly misrepresenting the date of delivery!!!!! Truly agonizing. Once delivery finally occurred, I discovered shattered family heirlooms, lost items and broken furniture. Boxes well marked as fragile were delivered damaged. The markings of "fragile" clearly were disregarded. They also lied about the actual cubic footage of the shipment, which I realized on delivery by examining the delivery truck's method of measurement. Horrible experience. Hope this review prevents others from hiring this company and the agony it brings.
Fraudulent
I paid $1000 deposit for movers that never arrived and no one could provide a new ETA. I was told that the moving truck broke down and was placed into a shop, after I called to see why the moving truck never showed up. I’ve sent numerous emails that have gone unanswered.

Ark Moving Group, LLC team was super professional today. They packed every single items with care, even glassware! We hired them for packing and moving our very full 2-bed apartment into a new house, and the service was polite, efficient and flawless. Not a thing broken and everything that was taken apart was built back with care. Would highly recommend!

Charged double and Took 4 months
I've had a terrible experience with Ark. DO NOT hire them. I did an extensive inventory list and was still charged double at pickup because the movers said my things took up double the space I was quoted. Also, they lost my things for 3.5 months. They were sitting in storage not far from my original destination for 3.5 months! Delivery took 4 months. Items were damaged when arrived. Customer service is very nice but aren't able to follow through on anything.
Amazing company and service
From start to finish these guys helped my husband I anytime we needed. We we're so stressed about the move and working with this company took a lot of pressure off of us during this time. They worked with us to give us the best price possible totaling $3,657.23, I would always recommend Ark moving to family and friends if they want professional and quality service during a move. Professional experience every time.
I have used Ark moving group at least about 3 times now moving from Florida to Pennsylvania to Virginia and back to Florida, every time I had an awesome experience whenever I use them, I would recommend Ark moving group to anybody out there their prices are reasonable, their people are professional and their customer service is by far the best!
I also want to say thank Bob for handling the move, he was my moving coordinator and did an awesome job explaining everything to me and that's the reason why I went with Ark moving group the first time was because of Bob,
as well I want to recognize Nick who is a moving coordinator as well as handles customer service, by far you guys are the best thank you so much for the professional experience every time!!

Out of state move
I wanted to use a local company to help move my uncle from Illinois to Florida. I couldn't physically help with the move myself, so I used the packing service as well. Me and my family were very happy with service. Thank you Ark!
This company took great care of my family's belongings.
My whole experience with this company has been wonderful from day one. I spoke with Bob and he helped answer all of my questions and made sure I had the best possible price for my move. I ultimately decided to book with Bob because I felt that he was sincerely trying to help me and not just take my money and run like I have heard many other moving companies doing. After booking, I was always kept in the loop by Ark's customer service team, who seem to never sleep and are always available to answer questions at any time of the day. I had items that I had forgotten to disclose to Bob at the time of booking when I gave him my inventory, which had me very concerned about my price skyrocketing at the time of pickup. I called Ark and they immediately put me in touch with their Quality Assurance manager who was able to adjust my inventory and make sure that I had an accurate representation of the cost of my move so there were no surprises at the time that my items were picked up. Moving is a very stressful time for anybody, myself included, but I am so thankful that my calls did not go unanswered and somebody was willing to speak to me and help me every step of the way.

Moving is a necessary evil that I have done one too many times. And when it comes down to it, I always think "I wish I had requested a mover" and this time I did! Ark Moving Group was amazing, kind, efficient and covid safe. I appreciated them tremendously and will be sure to reach out to Ark for any future moving needs I might have, and will recommend to family and friends. Thank you guys!
Avoid
Ark told me that they move items themselves, and I was upfront about moving to Hawaii. But TRIG Moving showed up to pick up my things. I had no time to research TRIG before accepting their services. Completely unprofessional, bouncing my boxes down the concrete steps, dropping boxes and saying "I didn't do it on purpose!" to which I said "I know you didn't, that is the point." They took 3 months to deliver my shipment, lost 3 boxes, one of which was an electric piano which I specifically mentioned to them I was concerned for. How do you lose an 8 foot long box that had my name and the pickup address on it from the old UPS sticker still on the box? After reading reviews of TRIG, and the experience I had with them, I am quite convinced that they stole my piano. Had I known that Ark was contracting out I could have looked up the reviews for TRIG, but they were not honest with me so I lost out. Avoid both of these companies and be sure to ask your mover WHICH company is coming to pick up your stuff.
Avoid this company
I’m a retired military officer and have done many moves during my military career. The move from CA to Florida has been a disaster. We were quoted $3100 for the move but price raised additional $2000 upon pick up. All of our items were labeled and prepackaged. Movers were 5 hours late, arrived without tools or masks, ruined carpet and extremely disorganized. We tipped each (3) mover $100 and were charged additional cost of $2200. I complained to the company, sent pictures and received no follow up from their front office. One Day before delivery to Florida we find out the furniture never left California. 37 days later we are still waiting for our furniture. Office staff is disorganized and senior management has zero involvement in resolving complaints. We are now begging for our furniture. Arrogant staff, poor service and zero customer service. Chose another moving company.
Respectful
MMR Ark moving and crew of 4 guys were awesome. Hard working, polite, respectful of our belongings, but more importantly my wife and I. They had as real challenge in fitting our 4 bedroom, 3 car garage into 3 PODS. I thought that should be plenty, but once they got there realized it would be a challenge. MMR Ark moving made it work somehow. If you want a great moving experience, hire MMR Ark moving in a heartbeat.
It's the only accident-free move I can recall.
Now that I'm settled, I'm finally taking a moment to tell you what an incredible job your men did for us on one of the hottest days of the year. Had they been cranky and impatient I would have understood, because the heat was simply unbearable. But to our amazement the movers actually seemed to be enjoying their work. Not one item was scratched or dented. It's the only accident-free move I can recall.

The move went without any problems, from their careful packing of our items to the final delivery. Our shipment arrived on our very first available day, which allowed us all the time we needed to unpack and settle down. Not a single item arrived broken. A minor delay had to do with a futon chair that had been accidentally unloaded at their local facility in San Jose, but once that was located it arrived within the same day. We are sure to contract them again for another move if necessary.
