  1. These guys rock!

I am a moving service provider and hired these guys to help load a one bedroom apartment for a client in Denver. They had me wishing I could take them back to Texas with me. They were skilled and wrapped everything up nice for the road and had me out of there in 2 hours, after my client was quoted four. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Will call again if the road ever takes me their direction.

  2. I hate hidden fees.

I used this company in 2016. These guys showed up late which was fine because they called me an hour before schedule time to give me the heads up. On the phone they talked me into using three movers instead of two because they said somebody needed to be at the truck to watch my things. Whatever fine I just needed my stuff moved after they moved all my stuff into the truck we got to the new place and they informed me that there would be another fee because it was more than 75 ft walking from the sidewalk to inside the house. Bare in mind there are no steps it was just parking lot to the house it was a straight shot.I thought it was 75 ft from my gate to the parking lot but he counted the few extra feet from once he walked inside of the gate to the house. After I was moved I went to leave them a tip but I was running a little bit low on cash because of the last minute extra mover. I tipped all three guys $25 and apologized that I didn't have more cash when actually $25 per person is not a bad tip for a 2-hour move. As I was signing off of everything the lead guy says oh yeah I forgot you gave us a $60 deposit well can we just keep that because you said you were going to give us more anyway. I just wanted these guys out of my house and I let them have the $60. I don't recommend them and I'll never use them again. I felt nickel-and-dimed and if I were a man or had a man with me I don't think I would have been treated this way.

  3. Crooks, jerks and con artists with a dishonest manager who is rude.

If I could give them zero stars I would. The movers drank my alcohol while moving me. They came in a smaller truck and made 2 trips and then claimed they had to come finish the next day despite my move being urgent as I was leaving an abuser who didn't know I was leaving - and ASAP KNEW THIS. They broke MANY of my items, complained about how heavy the boxes were and requested cigarettes and drinks while at my house. They also repeatedly tried to con me out of more money by saying "What are you going to do for me." and implied they were "helping me out" - Im sorry Im PAYING YOU [EDIT]. They changed my billing to a flat rate - and then NEVER CAME BACK OR REFUNDED ME..so they moved HALF my move. and kept ALL my money. Total jerks. The owners did not care. The manager Steve Miller made me an offer of a refund of 25$ -- this was change they stole from my boxes. What a joke. If you want to feel intimidated, and worried for your own safety as well as helpless and held hostage..hire these clowns.

  4. Absolutely Recommend!

I hired ASAP movers 2 days before I needed to move (our previous guys no-called, no-showed) a 100 year old spinet piano. David and Steven showed up. They were on time, they called ahead to make sure everything was good to go, they problem solved, were quick and congenial. Basically everything I'd want out of a moving service. I'll be moving again here soon and will absolutely be using this company again!

  5. Wonderful moving experience!

10 stars if it was an option!! Very professional, fast, very respectful of my stuff. I will call them again for help. And recommend to family and friends. THANK YOU fred and Jonathan. Jonathan even asked for my permission to lay an item on its side, that was very considerate! You both are amazing. THANK YOU million times over.

  6. Great company from start to finish!

I had a wonderful expierence with this company and I will refer them to my family and friends! They were on time quick and careful!

  7. Frightening End!

We had 3 stops before the final destination. My husband's house which was an office and some boxes, my sister's where I was living which was a bedroom, couch, end tables and coffee table, boxes and a fridge. Then, storage trailer with various items. The truck that came was not the truck size originally planned for so my refrigerator didn't fit on the truck. They had "planned" on coming back but that didn't happen. One of the men overheard my son say to me, "don't worry about I'll get it on my pick up." But I said loud and clearly, "No! that's why we hired a company.." After the trailer I went back to my sister's to gather boxes that didn't fit onto the truck and load them into my car. The movers were at the new house unloading. They were gone by the time I arrived. I never told them I didn't want them to go back to get the fridge. I wrote Steve Miller an email Monday letting him know I was disappointed about my fridge being left behind. Then later that day we spoke on the phone and he said he'd arrange for a truck to pick up the fridge and bring it to my new place, no charge. Then, he called me that Friday to tell me he spoke to Lamont Rivers, the owner of ASAP Movers to tell me no, they cannot do that without charging me because one of the men heard my son say, I can put it in my pick up truck. Even though I never said anything to the men about not getting it. On the contrary! I made it known that getting my fridge was extremely important. Mr. Miller and I went around and around on the phone with me repeating that "I" was the one in charge and paying, not my son and I never told them NOT to get the fridge. He said, "You needed to communicate that to the men, they're not mind readers!" I was astonished at that response! About half way into the move my husband offered them a flat rate which they accepted. However, I think that just made them want to "be done with it". When we were gathering items from my storage trailer one guy was with me inside and three other workers stood outside shooting the bull smoking. The one worker with me wasn't happy and he let it be known that it would be nice to have a hand with this. Then when they did help, each item we carried out one of the men would say, "Is this the last thing..is THIS the last thing?" Those comments were making me very anxious. I had explained to Mr. Miller before the deposit (when he was working to win the job) that because our move was a little complex I just needed a crew that was going to really work with us to get this stuff moved. So my refrigerator is still setting in my sister's garage in their way, and they're bugging me to come and get it. All could have been avoided if the bigger truck had showed up instead of a small one. But the WORST, very worst of it all.. When my husband offered the flat rate he made part of the payment in cash and the rest on his credit card. The head guy read out loud the credit card number along with exp. date and the 3 digit # on the back several times over the phone to someone in the office (I'm assuming Mr. Miller) in front of all of the other workers. Then, the next day (Sunday) my husband's bank calls to ask about a few "odd" charges. My husband thought at first it was nothing, explaining that we're moving so maybe it was something pertaining to that. But when the bank said there was about $500 worth of charges that were made Saturday night (the movers where finished early eve, between 6 & 7pm) in Baltimore City, a hotel, Edible Arrangements, a pizza joint, and Boost Mobile we knew they weren't any purchases we made nor near Baltimore City. Obviously, we can't PROVE anything (right now at least) but we have no doubt in our minds where his credit card information was stolen. And to think, we even gave the men a nice tip :(.

  8. Silver Spring to Cockeysville.

Excellent. Stress free. Efficient. I would use them again and recommend their services to anyone looking for a fair price and a quick and stress-free move. Steve Miller went over everything on the phone and sent me a quote. The guys showed up as scheduled. They were friendly and courteous. Truck was loaded and unloaded in record time! Totally impressed! Thank you ASAP Movers!

  9. Stay Far Away From This Company!!

While dealing with this company I received HORRIBLE service. A move that was suppose to take 3 hours ended up being 8 hours to complete. Angela, Bobby and Cole are con artist and will get you for every penny you got. ALSO OPERATES UNDER THE NAMES: PRODIGY MOVING AND THE PERFECT MOVE. Encourages drivers to add on any fee they can get away with. Hires helpers daily. Has intimidation and BBB reports filed against this company.

  10. Making it right.

Bad bad experience. These guys destroyed my t.v. and when I asked them to make good on it, I was yelled at over the phone by there supervisor asking me if I was stupid and not able to read a contract. Great customer handling skills. They wrapped all my stuff in moving blankets and plastic, was intentional over kill. Why the overkill at 158 dollars an hour why not if you can get away with it. All I wanted them to do was make it right and I didn't even ask for a new tv because it was a few years old, I just wanted a fair value for their negligence. To add insult to injury they offed me .60 cents on the pound that about a dollar. Not the best experience.

  11. Liars, thiefs, cheaters, day labor!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They sent 2 guys one was a day labor, had very little moving experience. They took 12 hours to move 3 bedrooms home and only took cash per their contract. They then charged my credit card after I paid cash. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I had to call real movers the next day to move my furniture in the house to the rooms it needed to be put into and set up. All the things they were supposed to do. It cost me double to move, plus they charged my card. I have a complaint to the better business bureau and the police department. I am also going to small claims court for all of the broken damaged furniture and walls.

  12. Deceptive billing.

I used this company during late October of 2014.
Never use this company. I have filed a formal complaint against them with the CO attorney general.
Their model is deceptive and fraudulent. They do not disclose hidden charges that show up on the bill, and refuse to refund them.
Their web site advertises that they serve lots of areas, but in fact they simply drive to your distant location and  then charge you, by the hour,  for the drive.
To confuse you about the hidden fees they use terms like 'door to door' but the truth is they are hiding fees and gained my business by deceiving me.

  13. Great Job Daniel and David.

My move went exactly as planned which was a RELIEF! Guys called 30 Mins before they got here to let me know they were dispatching. Showed up at 9:15 for my scheduled appointment time (9:00-9:30 Guaranteed Arrival) and worked their tushes off for 3 hours trucking things back and forth between my apartment on the third floor to my Penske. I was very pleased. I would like to personally commend the movers for their hard work and dedication to the project. Great Service.

  14. Unprofessional and not efficient.

I called explained my situation informed Rob (I believe) of my stairs I was moving out of (16 total directly down) and the small elevator at the new place on the 4th floor.  He stated about 3 hours is all it would take for a 2 bedroom Condo to Condo. The 2 guys arrived 45 minutes late but charged me from 9am. They took 7 hours to half way complete the move. I had stuff they were to bring all over my other place. Took 18 trips in cars to move everything they left. I am disabled with a spinal cord injury.  They scraped up the entry and exit sides of the elevator on both floors. They scraped up the paint in my newly painted Condo. They soiled the carpets had no respect for my personal property.  Cole was alright but I will never trust Anthony. They blocked off 8 spaces in our parking lot that residents did not have access to those spaces while they were unloading.  Scratched up the door to the building bringing stuff in.  They charged me $682.00 and quoted me $316.00.  Total rip off.  The last moving company I used moved the same amount in June 2012 it cost me $350.00 with those movers.  No wonder ASAP had open slots when the other company I used before had no bookings available until the end of January.  I will never and encourage you to never use this company.  I also called to complain to Rob at 720-338-4247 he stated he would have to talk to his guys and call me back, never received a call back from anyone. I paid cash so there is no recourse in the matter.  Never, ever, ever deal with these guys unprofessional and uncaring.  Just want to milk the clock for all it was worth.  I caught Anthony sitting down relaxing 12 times I think he only worked when someone was watching him.  I was nice and cordial so they would be nice to my stuff but they totally took advantage of me and my disability.

  15. Total Disaster.

If I had been told that my inventory sheets would not be completed until the furniture and boxes were unloaded at their warehouse, I would never have hired this company.  Imagine this: the crew shows up a day after delivery had been confirmed, the truck is too small, and THEN they tell you that they will inventory your belongings as they unload them at their warehouse.  They choose what items to put on the truck and leave behind items such as the clothes dryer, Shark floor cleaner, floor lamps, artwork, china, etc.     The driver tells you that you will receive your inventory sheets by email the following day. They put over $1000 on your credit card, close the truck door and drive away with all of your belongings, promising that the upholstered items will be shrink wrapped at unloading. I tipped the crew because all the confusion was clearly not their fault  I tried calling many times to find out about my inventory sheets and 3 days later told the woman who took my call that if I didn't receive the inventory sheets later that evening, they would be hearing from my lawyer.  The owner, Joseph Lopez, called me back immediately, said he was recording the call and to STOP calling his company.  I finally got something resembling inventory sheets the following night, 4 days after they had taken my belongings.   Most of the confusion was because I had to put my furniture into storage at their warehouse--my house sold quickly and I was moving into new construction that was not yet finished.  I paid for 2 storage vaults for a month.  Clearly other customers' belongings were put into my vaults because their 1st attempt at delivery, most of the boxes were not MINE. As they got to the back of the truck, some of my furniture was there, it had never been shrink wrapped and all of the upholstered furniture was trashed.  None of my mattresses were delivered and about half of my boxes.  All of this took place in the dark because the movers arrived around 8:30PM.   Since it was not the crew's fault, we tipped them, signed off in order to let them leave around 11:00PM as the owner wanted them to drive 6-7 hours back to Denver.  The owner spoke to me and my son-in-law and gave us his word that he would personally deliver my belongings the following day, the day before Thanksgiving, and "make things right."  The owner did not deliver the following day, he never showed up, he sent a young man--all by himself--2 days later-- on Thanksgiving day. We spoke to the driver around 11;30 that morning and he told us he would communicate with us so that we would know when to expect him. He didn't call us again.  We called the owner around dinner time to find out where the truck was.  Then we found out that my neighbors had called the Durango police because a large truck was unloading and dragging items across the construction zone and stacking the items on my front porch.  My inventory sheets were never matched, they never assembled my beds, and the owner never made good on his word.  My homeowners insurance company will be filing a claim with the owner's insurance company.   What a nightmare!!          .
