  1. A huge fan.

Watching your team operate was nothing short of extraordinary. We were hesitant to go with movers but your team executed beautifully. I have been telling everyone I encounter that they need to go with Centennial. Your team was friendly, efficient, took incredible care of our belongings and were literally RUNNING up the stairs to get back to lifting more items. It was incredible. We are huge fans & will continue to sing your praises. I have so many friends who have had horrible experiences with other companies- our move felt like a total breeze. We felt relaxed enough to start unpacking while they were finishing the job. Please let me know how else I can promote your business. Happy to be a raving fan on your behalf!

  2. Trust in us.

This is the 2nd time I've used Centennial for a move and they do an incredibly professional job every single time. They are fast, safe and take great care of my furniture & belongings. They are great at packing small delicate items and also move heavy furniture with ease. Came with a crew of 3 men. I can't begin to explain how easy they made it for me. I was so stressed & they had everything under control. They came on time, worked swiftly, had a great attitude and helped me problem solve. I can't thank them enough for their work and professionalism. I trust them with my stuff and will absolutely hire them again! Thank you!

  4. Modified relocation.

From the planning stages, through modifications, to loading and delivery, Centennial employees made this easy for me. Packing and loading were all one one day, and delivery took place within a half hour of schedule. No damaged items found, and the crew cleaned up when done. Well Done!!

  5. As wonderfully.

This is the best moving company I have ever experienced! I moved my 75 year old mother out of Toronto and was worried about the mountain of stuff she had accumulated. The quote including packing, materials and transport was less than I expected and well worth it. Two men came early to her home packed up everything quickly and professionally being careful to protect all fragile items. They worked straight through until the job was done never once complaining and always very polite. On the delivery side they just did everything in reverse as wonderfully as they had before and not one thing was damaged or missing. If you want a job well done these are the movers for you!

  6. Seamless transition.

I wanted to provide positive feedback to you regarding my move from Toronto ON, to Edmonton, AB. In all, the transition was seamless. The teams were fast, efficient and extremely careful with my goods. When unpacking the boxes, I could really tell that care was taken. Even in severely inclement weather, they were able to make the delivery in a totally safe manner. Please pass on my sincerest thanks to the entire team. If I know anyone moving to/from Edmonton, I will be sure to refer them to Centennial Moving. All my very Best Regards!

  7. Because of rep.

We were moving from Manitoba to ON and needed a reliable moving company to move our belongings. Tara did all the research on moving companies and settled on Centennial because of their reputation, customer reviews, and price. The office staff were pleasant and very professional and got back with a quote almost immediately. Everything arrived in good condition and the move into our new home went just as well as the move out of our old home. We are very happy with this move and will recommend Centennial Moving again.

  8. Simply Amazing.

I am extremely satisfied with you guys. Very Punctual, Respectful staffs, and fairly reasonable price. You guys made our moving (1st-Winnipeg to Guelph, ON & 2nd- Winnipeg to Windsor, ON) simply amazing. Thanks a lot once again Max (long Distance Senior Coordinator and all the moving staffs for doing amazing job. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

  9. From the bottom of our hearts.

So, so, sooo pleased with our long distance move. You got us in safely just before the holiday period and we thank you for this from the bottom of our hearts. It was touch and go for a while, but you came through and that is what compelled me to write this glowing review. Thank you!

  10. Proved to be outstanding.

Moving across the country is so complicated and stressful. Without Phillip and his crew of Movers, there is no way my family would have gotten this move done, they proved to be outstanding. From my first call getting my quote to the last pieces of artwork they delivered, everything was professional and smooth. Highly recommended!

  11. Ease the nerves.

I have never had any positive experiences with movers before, till I met Martin, Matt, Phillip and Eugene who moved by belongings from Toronto to Regina. They arrived on time, equipped to work, and worked hard. They were very polite, engaging and professional. Answered all our questions and addressed all our worries. I cannot say enough about the whole team that I worked with. Xavier the Sales coordinator, and Trey that made the final arrangements. I did have an issue with some minor damage done to my walls during moving, but they took pictures and sent it on to complaints who is working with me now to complete the repairs. I am 100% satisfied, and so satisfied I told my daughter and son-in-law to use them in a couple of weeks in their move. I hope this review helps some of you that were nervous like me.

  12. In the face of obstacles.

Clearly my experience with Centennial Moving must have been with a fresh, conscientious, and vibrant team. Max and Alex arranged the details of my move on the phone two storage locations in Toronto (my mother's and my aunts) were visited so as to transport my lovely, antique furniture to Calgary. Everything arrived in tip-top condition. My impression of polite, precise, and professional was complemented by an equally pleasant gentleman driver. I highly recommend Centennial for its largesse and professionalism. A hearty thank you to my fantastic team for achieving the near-impossible. A successful move in the face of trying obstacles, this time.

  13. Concerns alleviated.

Excellent, ethical, professional service from the first time I contacted Centennial to delivery of my home goods to my new place. Centennial employees available each step of the process with alleviating all my concerns. The day of my move the movers showed up on the scheduled time moving my household goods fast while packing goods that needed to be packed. The move went well to the point of almost running to get everything out of my condo between hours scheduled for freight elevator. Upon arrival to my new destination, movers worked fast to unload goods in rooms designated on boxes without any breakage. In summary, I would highly recommend Centennial which provided me the best service out of approximately seven different moving companies over the years including the cross country and local moves as well.

  14. Just Incredible.

Just as you mentioned the Centennial team was INCREDIBLE! From packing, to loading, and unloading all was done extremely professional and with care. In particular, Eugene(the individual that lead each team from the start of packing to the final load being brought into the house) was exceptional! He walked us through every step and answered every question we had. At your next opportunity, I would greatly appreciate it if you could pass along this feedback to the Centennial team and Eugene's manager.

  15. Cheap, but a gamble.

We went with centennial cause they were the cheapest option we had that didn’t seem outright sketchy, and we had friends who used them previously. We were doing a move from a city center in Alberta, to a rural community in BC. Their communication was good before we approached the window for pickup. My emails would get responded to pretty quickly. There was a student rate which was very helpful. There was also a lot that happened that was kinda frustrating though.

-We were given a delivery window of a week before the date we asked, or into the next month, which we didn’t have access to our apartment anymore. We had to go with the earlier week so our delivery window was originally set to be the 9th to the 13th.

-Friday before our delivery window I emailed asking if perhaps I could get a better estimate on when the truck would show up within the 5-day window. I emailed on Friday and didn’t hear anything back until the Monday, saying now that they wouldn’t be picking up until Saturday the 15th due to truck maintenance. They had told us that they didn’t hear anything about this until that day also. While I understand that sometimes things out of your control happens, it was really frustrating to hear days after the issue occurred.

-Dispatch has our contact information and if something was going wrong, we really should have been alerted as soon as possible. We originally had plans to be away for the weekend and had to scramble to change our plans.

-It would have been nice to have a heads up when they were on their way. We were told they would show up between 9-11am. At 8:30 I got a call, assuming they were saying they were on their way. Turns out they were already outside and I had to scramble to get my dog put away and get dressed.

-The movers who arrived to pick up our stuff was pretty good. They seemed to take care in wrapping up the furniture. They did scuff up the floor in the bedroom a bit, which took some work to get out.

-They were very firm in the fact that we had to reserve parking for their 70 foot truck at both locations. Turns out this wasn’t the case in either scenario. They just boxed in cars while loading up the truck on pickup. When they showed up at drop off they had a smaller truck.

-The people who dropped off didn’t seem to take as much care as the team who picked up. Boxes that were clearly labeled were carried in and placed upside down. A foot of our TV was completely torn off. There was a giant scratch in our antique dresser. The other antique dresser was all scuffed up on the bottom.

-The drop off team also didn’t put together any furniture that was taken apart. Legs were taken off of our large 9 drawer dresser and never put back on. Being able to lay down the dresser to put the legs back on and lift it back up is not a one man job, and not something I can do on my own.

-We have someone else’s else bedframe

-When we contacted them, they simply told us to put in a claim. You only have 7 days to claim something as damaged or missing, so it was a mad dash to go over the rest of our stuff to make sure nothing else was damaged or missing

-We put in our claim a week ago, and still haven’t heard anything back.

I have a feeling most of the damage occurred between transferring from their large truck, to the small truck they contracted out. If I was to need a mover in the future again, I would be hesitant to use them due to the amount of damage that has occurred to our furniture. I think if you are moving from large center to large center it would be alright, but wouldn’t suggest them for a more rural move.
