  1. Local move within Ontario.

We moved from Scarborough up to Timmins. It was a major undertaking for us and Gary at Centennial made sure everything was perfect. It started with our in house estimate. The representative showed up on time and was fully prepared. We received a complete and detailed estimate. And it was accurate! Then, they showed us exactly how to do our part in packing and to prepare . On moving day our driver Phillip showed up on time and did an outstanding job of packing the truck. We had a number of antiques and fragile items that he carefully wrapped and protected throughout the journey. It took longer to load up than he planned but it was the work of a "true master" who would rather do it right, than fast. They arrived in Timmins exactly as promised. Everything was perfect. Absolutely nothing damaged. Nothing was lost and the really important fragile stuff was as good as it was when it left Toronto. We've heard all the horror stories about moving, but we found the right moving team and were blessed with a completely favorable experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

  2. That's a wrap.

I’m so glad I went with Centennial Moving for my cross-country move. The estimate was fair and was in relation to what I actually ended up paying. The movers were professional and efficient, and arrived right on time. I loved that they wrapped everything in blankets so it didn’t get damaged or wet, even very small pieces of dismantled furniture. They were also flexible when we ran into an issue with our move, and had to adjust the time of the delivery to later in the month. I have already recommended them to one work colleague and will continue to do so!

  3. National recommendation.

Centennial movers fulfilled their promise to deliver my things on time and in good condition. I paid very reasonable fees for the top quality service and I recommend them. I surely recommend this relocation company to everyone out there who wants quality relocation's. I can summarize my move with this company as a wow factor! They are the movers everybody should be using. I was 100% satisfied with what Centennial did as I moved from North York to Winnipeg. They didn’t waste my time or money and I would recommend them to everybody in Canada.

  4. Pulled it off.

Great job guys! I couldn’t have done it without you! Centennial moved me cross Canada last month and the move was very fast and smooth. The foreman and his team came early in the morning and started to work the moment they entered. They moved me out in just 5 hours and delivered in just 16 days. Everything was perfect when I unpacked! There were no damages, no scratches, no dents and nothing was missing! They pulled it off like a pro! I highly recommend them to all!

  5. A happy man.

Going for Centennial to conduct my long distance relocation is one of the best decisions one can ever make. I was also once told so and I believe it now. When I was given transfer to Toronto, therefore, I went directly to them and they received me with open hands. They were willing to serve me and offer me the very best of all that they had. Sincerely, that was an honor, a great one and I am thanking them for that! I only relocate when work circumstances force me, to be honest. I did not in any way welcome the relocation idea. My experience with this company somehow changed that. They served me quite well and at the end of the mission, I was a happy man, thanks to them!

  6. Centennial Moving..Right at the top!

I do not write reviews, but this time it is an exception! After all I read on movers and moving experiences, I was very apprehensive to hire a moving compagny to move items and furniture to our son in B.C. After looking at various options and over 15 moving compagnies quotes, I had to make a choice and finally went with Centennial Moving, for their quick response to any e-mail sent and follow-ups. I had the most enjoyable and professionnal service from Centennial Moving, for a move from Rural Ontario to Victoria,B.C. ! Everything went smoothly from start to finish! I could not ask for more, and must say that I am a very picky person.
Max, one of the Long Distance Senior Coordinator, was so professional, helpfull and reassuring. We keeped good communications all through the process, which reasured me a lot. The team that came in to get the furniture and the team that my son got in B.C. , were very efficient polite and courteous. They came in at the time promised and they even delivered 2 weeks before the expected delivery date! The furniture and boxes arrived in the same condition as it was sent! Now..what do you want more! I would use this company again and recommend them to family and friends! Thank you Max and all the staff of Centennial Moving that made this move a great one!

  7. Dedicated to.

I received a few different quotes from companies to move my 2 bedroom home from Vancouver to Newmarket. Max at Centennial Movers followed up with a call to my online request for an estimate to get further information about my exact inventory. He was pleasant, professional and had an immediate sense of helpfulness. Believe me you want helpful people around you when you're moving long distance. He emailed the detailed spreadsheet for the inventory as he said he would and when I provided my own list in a format other than their online list, he called to clarify a few things and immediately provided me with a quote. I made my decision to go with them over a few other moving quotes I had received because of the professionalism and follow-ups with me. The moving crew called about 30 minutes before they arrived to my house to inform me they were on their way. The moving crew of three came in and checked out my place, decided on their plan of attack and went to work. They hustled for 3hrs straight without stopping. Same standard of service when we got to my new place a few weeks later, they came up, took a look at the different rooms, I told them where the major pieces of equipment were going to go and they went to work.Overall, I was completely satisfied with their hard work and professionalism. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to close friends and family.

  8. Moving 1000 pound load from Toronto to Calgary.

Competitive pricing for moving several boxes and furniture. Very good communication throughout move and very punctual in replies. Move took only 2 weeks to complete from pick-up to delivery. Small problem encountered in that we received 2 small items that were not ours but contacted the office by e-mail on a Saturday and items were picked up the same day by the movers. Took 1 star off for delivery of wrong furniture.

  10. Cross-Canada move.

Picking a moving company can be as stressful as the move itself, but Centennial always rose to the top through their flexibility, their attentiveness to customer relations, their no-nonsense pricing. On the moving day, they were prompt, accommodating to the geography and circumstances (stairs were involved!), and completed the move-out in no time. A plus for me was the additional storage offered..which I used as I figured out storage at my new location. Centennial insists that boxes be evenly-weighted, though this is only reasonable, and helpful for you as well. My costs ultimately exceeded the quote (by $100), though I understand this is strictly weight-based, and I moved a lot of books, etc. So there was nothing "hidden" about the additional charges. Overall, a very good experience. And, when rated against other companies, Centennial's service and expertise were much appreciated.

  11. Centennial Movers - Review Update.

Subsequent to my original review posted November 25, 2019 relating to three items lost during a move from Toronto to Vancouver, Centennial Movers have located all of my lost items and have delivered them to me in satisfactory condition.

  12. Dust has settled.

Now that the dust has settled from moving, I wanted to put pen to paper to properly thank you all for the absolutely amazing job you did of helping me move house. Max, I truly appreciated your personal effort of helping me find so many boxes and sorting out the logistics of the day. You were so polite, organised and friendly, it made me feel completely at ease. The moving team on both days were utterly incredible. They were respectful, careful, polite and put 100% of themselves into the job. Not only that, but they went the extra mile when my trampoline wouldn’t fit into a moving truck. They dismantled and reassembled it on the day of moving with zero stress. I was incredibly impressed by them going that extra mile. I originally found out about your moving company by posting on Facebook asking for recommendations. My fussiest friend recommended your company, so I knew you would be good. It turns out you were great!! Thank you so much for making the huge task of moving, storing and moving (again) my possessions into my new home. Your company made a stressful time hugely less stressful just by doing the amazing job you did. So thank you. Please can you forward this letter to your manager and to the owner(s) of the company? I need them to know how impressed I was.

  13. Came through.

Long distance relocation - Centennial the only company I spoke to that could follow through. Just one person (me) - relocating and working - just getting to the stage of moving after a bereavement was monumental to say the least - the process had been manic. 3 Guys and a very large removal van show up - order and calm returned - The way those guys worked on that day was nothing short of heroic. Thank you. And the same again the following day at the other end of the country. Sense was made of a complicated half to the house and half to storage move. Thank you again.

  14. Centennial Moving - Avoide Scam Artists & Thieves.

Centennial Moving Company scam artists and thieves. For a one bedroom apartment move from Toronto to Vancouver the billed weight was double my quote which was provided based on a detailed listing of items. They hold your items hostage until you pay their unsubstantiated excessive weights. They stole my three most valuable items valued at almost $1,000 and offered a paltry $60 in compensation. Avoid Centennial Movers this is a total rip off company.

  15. Guys have an aura.

Just recently moved from Montreal to Vancouver using Centennial and they really saved me so much anxiety and suffering. I've had such bad experiences with previous moving companies and these dudes have really made it clear that relocating can in fact be painless and even fun! Spent 3 days talking to Xavier and he aided me in setting up my move care free, he even gave me a free quote!! Took around two weeks for the movers to take my stuff to Vancouver, it went by flawlessly. These guys have like this thing to them, they do it with such passion it's really awesome!! They unloaded my stuff into my new apartment which took them around an hour and a half. Honestly the best move I've ever had. Please use these guys I really recommend them!!
