1. Worst Service Ever--Total Bait & Switch

   Do yourself a favor and run away from this moving company. Total Scam, quoted $ 4.00 cuft, changed the rate the day before the pickup charging me $ 6.30 cuft. Peter, Sean, are the contacts in the office, Peter is smooth talking salesman, he would sell his mother to the devil. Sean was outright verbally abusive, an arrogant prick. I feel sorry anyone who has to work with these A--holes.

2. Cross Country Relocation Co.

   I wish could give 0 stars. We were quoted one price by Peter and when movers arrived, we were told the quote did not even begin to cover the cost of our move. Since our former house was closing, we had no choice but to pay over double the original quote. Many boxes arrived totally smashed. Wheel on compressor broken. 6' ladder and 2 wheel dolly did not make it to our new house. Not sure yet wat else is missing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY AND PROPERTY!

3. Nightmare

   My contact person was Peter Smith who very smoothly sold me a bag of lies . I was quoted $1409 for my move . When movers showed up and walked the house they said it would be an additional $1700. I had not added any items to the list on my estimate, I was very careful to make sure the estimated list matched exactly the items to be taken. Movers said no way and I had to pay . I had to leave a lot of items behind . Eventually they took less items and charged me $488 more. Rip Off!!!!
   
   My items were to be delivered in 2 days according to Peter Smith , however I did not get items until 6 days later . My family and I had to sleep on the floor until we we purchased air mattresses. Once my furniture arrived many items broken and boxes missing . I could go on and on but Just
   
   do not use this company.

4. RIP OFF

   Hired these movers, received a written quote for approx. $4,000. Movers showed up, loaded the truck, headed to Kanasas from California. My quote included a refrigerator, which I decided to leave behind. According to them my stuff needed to be packed differently. This meant I had MAYBE 10 extra boxes than what was on the quote. That was the only difference. REMOVE refridgerator, add 10 boxes. Once everything was loaded they announced my bill was now over $8,000!!! DOUBLE..... RIP OFF. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. They picked up my stuff on December 9, 2020 and today is January 3, 2021, my stuff is still not here. The owner Peter refuses to take my calls or call me back....SCAM

5. Worst moving company, ever

   DO NOT use this company. Was quoted around $2800 for around 700 cuft. Come moving day they loaded my stuff and then charged me $5800 saying I was over 1000 cuft more than the quote. I knew I would be charged a little more because Some bixes were added, but at most was 300 cuft not over 1000. When called about it their response is we'll bring it back to you. Very beligerent and unprofessional. When the truck finally arrived for delivery I was out of town on emergency snd my daughter was there for delivery. Most if it was to be left in garage. However, they were supposed to put dining room table together. They could not find the bolts for table and told my daughter they had left them with me. That was not true. The garage looks like they jusy threw everything off truck into garage. Big boxes on top of small boxes, heavy boxes on top of lighter boxes. Haven't finished checking everything but the headboard has a horrible crease across the learher that wasn't there before and the elrctric fireplace has a corner destroyed by the move. Got no satisfaction from company and was actually hung up on once when talking with them. I served in the Navy for 20 years and have been moved many times and this was by far the worst moving company I have ever dealt with. Would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

6. Quick and Easy

   My husband could not fly home due to Covid and that left me with three kids to deal with the move. Cross Country brought in a full squad first thing in the morning, packed up everything and were completed with everything by sunset. What could of been a headache ended up being painless. They also were able to help me with shipping my car. Great crew!

7. Great experience overall

   I used Cross Country at the beginning of December to move my 3 and a half bedroom house to Florida . They quoted me 4900 . I was a little worried about delivery Peter told me this time of year can take a little longer he said 10-17 days they arrived exactly 2 weeks from pickup . I have no complaints would recommend again .

8. Worst experience of my life

   They are not carrier they lied.
   
   They doubled the price quoted
   
   They stuffed our belongings into a small truck strapped our bed and mattress and much more off the back of the truck. Broke so many items, too many to count and only could say what’s it matter it is insured. They are a broker and lie about it. Don’t use them.

   

9. Scammers

   They said on a recorded line they are not brokers. They lied. They said they are US DOT verified. The US DOT number given was invalid. They are a gross company with gross customer service.

10. My move with cross country

    I hired Cross country in October 15 to get my belongings from California to Florida . I have to say i was really nervous I've never hired a moving company before let alone moved across the country so this was all very new to me. I Spoke with Peter he made me feel very safe and took a lot of the pressure of f me . I had a great overall experience at a reasonable price would highly recommend them .

11. Cross Country Relocation.

    The intial contact with this company was very good. However, upon arrival they tried to increase the charges for the written signed contract. We were not having that. They also tried to take up more space in the truck to get more out of us. We had them unload and load the truck properly. They were not liking us after that fact.  My boxes arrived and the driver was very pleasant and nice. However, at least 6 boxes were missing and my TV was not put on the truck and was still at the warehouse.  I have still not received my TV and no one will answer my emails or return phone calls. I would never reccomend this  company to anyone and I would say, don't even consider using them. .

12. Cross country relocation.

    I would like to recommend cross country relocation for any of you who are looking to move your belongings. I heard about them from a family friend. Although I was a bit skeptical because of my experiences with moving companies, they really exceeded all my expectations. They did the job professionally. They came on time and offered an affordable price. They packed everything and moved it to my new home without even a scratch. I'm very satisfied and if I'll ever need to move again I know I will only call them.

13. Cross country relocation.

    Thank you cross country relocation! I was very stressed at first, since we were moving a big house and we are a big family, Raphael helped me over the phone. The move was right on time, so was the delivery, there were no damaged items, and the movers were very kind and gentle. I will recommend it to my friends.

14. Move from FL to MD.

    Wonderful experience. Cross country relocation was recommended by a picky friend. The were right on time, extremely courteous, neat and clean. I would use them again and I give my highest recommendation. Jose, Mike and Franklin new exactly what whey were doing and since I have small children it was hard for me to focus on the move.
