Just finished my move to Chicago and used Independence Van Lines to take of it.This was a bit a complicated. I'm a carpenter by trade and have my workstations in my home. Although they calculate moves by weight and size, they gave me a reasonable price. They took my 2 bedrooms, kitchen table and 2 work tables for just $2480 plus I tipped the movers. Since I know my equipment, I helped the movers place my machines on the truck, and everything made it home in good condition.
Independence Van Lines was a life saver
Independence Van Lines was a life saver. I was displaced abruptly from my job and forced to move with little notice to new store. As I had very little time between locations, they helped me pack, load and unload all in time to get back to work. They were extremely courteous especially when making the arrangements, making sure every detail was taken care of. The gentlemen that came for my things were a huge help. I was so pleased to have someone get me through this. I recommend Independence Van Lines to anyone needing to move in a hurry. I am definitely returning the next time I have to move.

Customer service was excellent and responded to changes in moving date, quantity of goods and more. The movers themselves were prompt and on time and helped place items throughout house, as well as setup of beds, etc. Overall, highly recommended!

The movers greeted us with smiles, were very friendly, courteous, respectful and trustworthy. We felt confident we choose the right moving company from the moment we spoke with Allison from the sales department that gave us an all-inclusive quote. She always reassured us that everything would be okay since we were quite worried about our belongings since some are fragile and some are high end electronics. Just want to say thank you for taking good care of our belongings.

They were professional from the start.
They were professional from the start. Provided a great service in a timely, efficient manner. All my items were well cared for during the move and nothing was damaged. The staff was helpful and considerate throughout the process. Upon pickup of my items they were ready to break everything down as necessary with proper tools. They took their time to take everything apart the right way and didn't try to rush things by just throwing furniture into the truck without breaking it down properly. They utilized padding and blankets to ensure my hardwood furniture remained unscratched and safe.

My family used Independence Van Lines when we had to move from Texas to Canada quickly. I was nervous using professional movers only because no one has ever handled our family’s things in a move but us. Then again, how do you move a family cross- country in a week on your own? Independence Van Lines showed up and packed up all of our heirlooms, electronics, and all as carefully as we would. By five hours later, everything was packed away and loaded on the truck. Later that week, our truck arrived safe and sound at our new home. If they set me at ease, they deserve your business!

You're worth every penny now that we've unpacked and settled in. Independence van lines moved us over the course of 3 weeks and it all went super smooth which i am glad about. I was worried things would be damaged or go missing, sometimes i hear horror stories. Not here - true professionalism!
Extremely professional
It was a LONG move so a u-haul truck to do it all myself would be pretty much impossible. Independence van lines came in and did everything very professionally. They took us step by step through the moving process so that we understood what we were getting into. We needed to provide a deposit at the beginning then pay the rest upon delivery. Everything was standard practice and fully professional.

The truth must be told, After reading some comments about this company by some people that have used this service before, I was skeptical of using the service, what I did what to give them a chance by calling the customer service representative and we agreed on the terms. Alas! I was surprised by their great service; these guys went beyond my expectations. My furniture was delivered on time and I was contented with their service. I have being making use of different Moving companies before but their service has not being good as this. Everything was perfect, nothing damaged, and all their staff was professional. Infact their Service was a world class, still the best in the country. I would always be more than happy to be a reference for Independence Van Lines. Thank you.

I would recommend Independence Van Lines movers to anyone! They were so kind, careful and professional. Moving is overwhelming - the team from Independence Van Lines made moving as stress free as it can be! All of our items were packed in the truck with care and then unloaded in an organized way. I hope to not move again but I would use Independence Van Lines if I do!
Great service
They cost a little higher than some other movers but quickly made up for it in my eyes by being honest, punctual, and very diligent with their efforts. There was no lateness on their part, it was all done according to the schedule we made together at the beginning of our cooperation.
