Really Zero Stars.
Our trans Pacific shipment was only supposed to take 10-12 weeks, but it is 6 months and counting without receiving our shipment. Avoid Links Moving at all cost, or else you'll need to spend more money getting duplicate items while waiting for your shipment, which you do not really know if it will ever arrive. Poor customer service reps, who choose to ignore rather than help.
Poor packing and failure to settle insurance claim.
The packing team arrived late on the first day, then took long breaks. They had to rush to finish on the 2nd day and couldn't fit everything into the container and had to reload at the warehouse. A door was damaged in the apartment during the packing. Quality of the packing was poor with many items damaged and things like tape applied directly to wooden furniture, causing damage when removed. Insurance policy did their best to reduce my claim and when finally agreed they have failed to make the payment after several months of chasing.
Do not use.
Leaving Singapore.
After fifteen years in Singapore we wanted a reasonable moving company in Singapore to locate us back to UK. WE settled with Links as they were competitive on price and acted professionally.We had no furniture to relocate just 60 medium to large boxes of personnel items. All went well and pick up was smooth and straight forward. Packed racing bikes were not treated well as three expensive bikes were spotted falling off moving trolly being transferred to the company truck. At the time unable to inspect for damage issues.
Boxes arrived back in UK as agreed and again all this went very smooth. Unfortunately upon delivery we had the right number of boxes delivered but it was only when the delivery truck left we noticed all was not well. We had boxes missing but we had the correct number. It seems one of our boxes was badly broken at one of Links depots and repacked into two boxes. Another box had vaporised. All this meant was we had the right number of boxes. So what went missing. We lost a very expensive large bronze statue, car fitments, fishing gear, rugs. in the repacked box all be got were many broken white kitchen croc, bags. The outside of the box was covered in footprints..don't know why.
The road racing bikes were all there but when assembled all the wheels required re setting as they were all damaged but fixable.
Response from Links was please fill in claims form. They know claiming would be a waste of time as we insured only for total loss. it would have been impossible to value every single item. Cost on servicing bikes was not worth claiming even though individually insured.
This company is much similar to others. Things get lost and broken and basically they very quickly forget about you.
From Shanghai to Singapore.
We are missing two laptops, all is said.
It was our 4th international move and the first time we had some goods broken (minor things like plate, glass, lamp but still..) and more importantly the first time we have things missing.
The laptops were packed in a box on which was written "2 laptops". The tape with the Links Logo was not tampered with and the box were not opened based on their state. My biggest concern is that Links is not taking this allegation seriously.
I have reserved regarding the integrity of their team.
Also overall the packing was not good and some of our furniture were scratched.
