1. Unethical scam.

   This was my family's first move to another state (Indiana to Wisconsin). I have moved countless friends and family members myself and really thought that was how we'd do it. But it became evident that we needed assistance. Plus, I was to receive financial help from the company that hired me!
   
   We got sold and scammed. LDM came on very strong in their sales pitch, but seemed like the best "deal." Additionally, the salesman was not so much aggressive as persistent, which I took to be a positive sign.
   
   My wife and spent quite a while inventorying our items and going over everything with a fine toothed comb with the salesman. He gave us a guaranteed maximum price over the phone and then sent a contract by email. The contract, of course was an ESTIMATE. I prodded and questioned and was assured that unless there was some "piano hidden somewhere that we forgot to mention" we'd be within our estimate and may come in under.
   
   About a week out from our move date we were contacted by another moving company who was (apparently) affiliated/subcontracted by LDM. This mover said that the window for the move was about a week and a half. I mentioned quickly that we'd agreed upon a pick-up and drop-off date specifically. This person was very brusque and said she didn't think it "worked like that." I spent first half of that day calling LDM folks, never getting hold of the original salesman trying to find out why we'd not be moved on the dates specified. Eventually the gruff person from the other company called back and said, "Well I guess we'll see you one the date you specified. You must have important friends."
   
   Meanwhile my wife called to ask me if we'd like to change our moving date because a company called (the same subcontractor) and asked if we could move about a week ahead of schedule to better fit there workload.
   
   When the movers arrived (on the originally agreed upon date, but about 2 hours late) they were from a different company entirely and had very little information including an incomplete packing list and no schedule. I found out that they were affiliated with the subcontractor mentioned above. The were huffy from the off. Complaining about everything from the distance to the house from the street (about 30 feet), to the stairs (listed as 2-story), to the amount of stuff (admittedly not in their incorrect manifest). On and on, they were quite vocal about how "bullshit" everything was.
   
   They also wondered why we hadn't packed anything. Of course everything we owned was in boxes ready to be taken out the door. What we were not informed about was "packing" the furniture. Wrapping blankets around everything and packing foam or taping drawers shut etc. Not having had a company handle it before, I had no idea it wasn't something they'd do as they packed the truck. We were, of course, informed that this would all be itemized on our invoice. I thought to myself, "How much could a few rolls of packing foam and a bunch of packing tape cost? Plus, they are the professionals packing the truck. Surely, they'd do a far better job than I would anyway. Probably worth a small increase to have peace of mind. What a nerve wracking day, though.
   
   Two days later, we met the movers at our new home. Except they weren't the same people at all. Novice, here. Didn't know that they weren't the same crew, but it makes sense.
   
   The day started with me being handed a new invoice with a grossly inflated cost several thousand dollars more than the "guaranteed maximum price." I called the salesman first. He referred me to the secondary company who actually accomplished the moving. Same gruff woman who had softened at first only to double down. She yelled over the phone threatening to "sue" over my "lies." Not sure at all what she was on about, but the result was that if I didn't pay, I didn't get my belongings. They'd be stored until litigation completed. Never thought I'd lose my entire household's worth of belongings in one fell swoop. I caved and paid.
   
   This group was extremely efficient and much more careful and conscientious. Instead of only two people as with the loading, there were six! However, many of the items were damaged beyond repair and many more damaged but reparable during transit. So much for professional packing. I was told that the damaged items were reported to the companies insurance and I would be compensated for repairs. A report was given me with all of the damaged items on the (now complete manifest) circled with notes. I bought this group lunch and tipped big as they were apologetic and thorough and drew such a sharp contrast to the rest.
   
   When I followed up with LDM and the original salesman about the damaged items, I was told that no one new such a person. Eventually, I found a direct line and NEVER got a call back. I tried about half-a-dozen times over the course of a few weeks. I though this salesman's persistence was a positive thing. Now he was persistently unavailable.

2. Unethical.

   We engaged LDMovers for a move from CA OK. We thought we were in good shape since they had good reviews and worked with Vets. Boy were we wrong. The movers showed up late, loaded half of our things and said that was all they could do with out a price increase! We tried calling the broker who was conveniently not available. We had to agree to the price increase because they would not unload or finish loading until we did! First Red flag!! Our contract had a delivery date for our goods to be delivered. They were 21 days late!! 2nd RED Flag! When they arrived almost every item was damaged! And we are still missing boxes. The movers tried to leave with 1/2 of art work and Harley still in the truck, tried to get US to fill missing items claims! Final RED Flag!! The insurance company for LDMOVERS and the carrier has been nonresponsive! They basically damaged or stole everything,entrusted to their care, did not honor the contract and left us with the aftermath! Choose ANYONE ELSE!!

3. Movers steal my stuff while moving- Pls do not use this movers.

   I used Long distance movers to move my home stuff from Boston to Texas. Initially they gave me quote for 1700$, they have sent other moving company called STOP and MOVE LLC. They forced me to pay 900$ more and paid to him because of my critical situation to move asap. They delivered after 3weeks and I found they steal so many electronic items from one of my moving box. They open and took all electronic items and packed again as same. I called both companies but response.

4. You did it.

   You came to my aid when I needed you most. You were able to relocate me in such an easy way. There were no struggles moving from Florida to New Jersey. I am full of delight for the services offered. I know I can always count on you. Something like this has never happened to me, I must be honest. Being relocated this way was something I didn’t see coming. You were so committed to your work and ensured I relocated safely and perfectly. I am grateful for that and forever will be.

5. It was just perfect.

   This is the only place I am sure of getting perfect relocations. With them, I am certain of moving in a peaceful way. I enjoyed hiring them out last week. They were punctual during the move. They were able to wrap everything nicely in boxes before loading them in the truck. As a result, the entire relocation was perfect. In future, I will have them as my choice of movers, no changing. The whole team is just amazing. I love associating with them. From their sales persons to relocation coordinators and crewmembers, dealing with their team is one of the best experiences. I am glad they were able to move me from North Carolina to Kentucky without any issues. Your services are great and I appreciate that.

6. Inspirational Move.

   There is nothing more inspirational than being relocated by Long Distance Movers crew. Their team will give you a reason to be happy and clear all your doubts. Relocating with them gave me an opportunity of learning the essence of teamwork. I watched them work in cooperation and I was inspired. Their services are all I need. I love their relocation services. Being moved by Long Distance Movers is not something that I take for granted. Instead, I consider it as a great honour. That is why I am so much grateful that Long Distance Movers team was able to relocate me so swiftly from Georgia to Florida. Your services were awesome.

7. They do not disappoint.

   There are hardly any movers in Virginia who can do a better job than what was done for me by Long Distance Movers during my latest move. I have used various movers during my past moves and was never satisfied with any of them. But Long Distance Movers showed great professionalism in the way they not only handled my things, but also how they handled me as a customer. I felt that they cherished my satisfaction and it would be unfair if I do not commend them well and recommend them. They do not disappoint.

8. I felt great.

   It feels so wonderful being served by the best. Unknowingly, you find a sense of satisfaction deeply planted in you. I went to Long Distance Movers for relocations and they gave me their best. They maintained high levels of professionalism from the start until the end. I am grateful. They are the best - I have no doubts about their services. When I hired them out last week, they delivered perfect relocation services. They moved the furniture, the electronics, and other properties in such an adorable way.

9. It’s all I need.

   For the subsequent relocations, I desire nothing more. I will just need Long Distance Movers to help me out. You did it so wonderfully last time and I believe you capable of doing even better in future. I did not believe in relocation excellence until I had an encounter with one. I hired out Long Distance Movers to help me move from North Carolina to Georgia. I must admit that there was no failure on their part. Instead, the relocations were smooth, adorable, wonderful, and undoubtedly marvellous. I had such an easy time making the move. Everything happened my way and I will forever be grateful to this.

10. Best moments.

    It was such a good moment. I found relocating with them one of the most enjoyable things. The relocation team had a willing heart. Their services were perfecta and their dedication in ensuring quality delivery of services was extraordinary. They made it possible for us to relocate and I am grateful to them for that. It has never crossed my mind that relocations can be that manageable. I used to take this as one of the most hectic ventures. After being relocated by Long Distance Movers, I found it so easy moving with them. I will forever be grateful for this.

11. Liers and thieves.

    I booked the movers 1 month in advance and they quoted me a certain price. I gave them a deposit. When it came time for them to come and get my things they tripled the price. I had no choice to change, they would not give me my deposit back. I wound up leaving all my furniture behind. Gave some away and sold a couple of pieces, only had 2 days before closing on my house. When the movers came that they sent, they said I had to pay extra. I was suppose to have my belongings in 2 weeks. It was a tad over a month that my belongings were put into a storage unit. When I finally did get into my home 6 months later and got the boxes unpacked, I found out only to my demise that we are missing about 10 boxes of sentimental items. I am 70 years old and my son is handicapped. I can replace what I am missing, however the items they took from my son he had been collecting since he was very young and meant quite a bit to him and cannot be replaced. Who takes things from an old lady and a crippled young man. Not just overpricing but to take their items. They say what goes around comes around. Please go find another moving company. Do not trust these people.

12. True to their promises.

    Movers can promise you the best relocations but not all of them can live up to that promise. Only countable companies like Long Distance Movers fulfil their promises. Their sales agent assured me of diligent relocations and that is what happened. They were there for me and I cannot hide it. I can say so confidently that being relocated by them is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Being able to enjoy their services is not something that I take for granted. Their relocations were simply amazing.

13. More than happy.

    You have no idea how happy I am about the relocations. I am so much glad that these people were able to move me from Illinois to North Carolina. They did it in such a flawless way. I did not see any problem or encounter any difficulty during the relocations. I am happy for that. I have never gone through such relocations in my life. It was my first time experiencing something like that. It was a seamless relocation, full of excellence and satisfaction. From the moment, they started until they were done, there no mistakes. I do appreciate them so much for ensuing that I settled in North Carolina in a wonderful way.

14. Scam company, fake reviews.

    Do not believe the high reviews (notice also how they all have the same syntax and odd use of language?).
    
    These people are scammers. They quote a price - which is agreed to by contract - then the actual movers show up and demand much more money. My $2,000 move turned into $7,000. They didn't show up on the day scheduled. They threatened us. They also signed papers themselves which were supposed to be signed off by us. They broke furniture and did not reimburse us.
    
    Read actual techies about this company and you'll find the same problems with everyone who hired them. They are nothing but scammers and need to be taken out of business.

15. Perfectly Done.

    It was a job well done. Truly enough, you deserve my praises. You made it possible for my family and me to go through one of the most interesting relocation experiences. I doubt if I need anything more that I received. It is never going to be the same again - not with the kind of revelation, I have about movers. I am convinced more than ever before that I now have the best relocation company in place. When I relocated last week, Long Distance Movers was in charge of the move and the services were perfect. There weren't case of troubles or disagreements. They worked together as a team and consulted me where necessary. I found the relocation so enjoyable and fruitful.
