1. **** BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM***

   PLEASE MOVERS BEWARE! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM, THEY ARE A BROKER COMPANY WHO SELLS YOUR CONTRACTS AND YOU WILL BE CHEATED OUT OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS! THESE 5 STAR RATINGS YOU ARE READING ARE WRITTEN BY THEM, NOT ACTUAL CUSTOMERS. THEY DELETE ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND REPLACE THEM WITH FAKE ONE. PLEASE RESEARCH THEM BEFORE GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY! AND THEY ARE OPERATING WITHOUT A LICENSE! CHECK THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, ITS ALL THERE!

2. Excellent Service!

   The process of getting the quote was smooth. They accommodated the changes I needed to make in the quote. On the moving day guys showed up at 8 in the morning, wrapped and packed everything. On our new house, they assembled all of our furniture including our bed without even asking us and took time when we were indecisive on where to put things in our place.

3. A worst ever moving experience from VA to TX

   I just had a worst ever moving experience with this company (Moving & Storage Squad LLC). I booked the service in July 2021 for moving from Virginia to Texas, with scheduled pickup date as 9/10 and delivery date as 9/13 or 9/14. The initial estimate price was $10341 and we paid the deposit of $2895 in July 2021. The nightmare began on 9/10 when the movers company (PRO MOVERS INC) came and asked us to sign another contract (at that time we knew this company was just a broker!), with the final price at $16106! Our inventory list was estimated at 1475cf, but the actual volume charged turned out to be 2350cf, and we had no choice but to pay $16106. So basically the broker lured you into a contract with a low estimated price and you would get a BIG surprise when it's too late to change mind. Yet the worst part was the delivery - the truck didn't come until about 5pm 9/15. There were many damages to the furnitures, and the movers simply dump the stuff in garage and first floor, they did NOT reassemble the furnitures (like beds, TV sets, sofa etc), and refused to move some furnitures (sofa, desk, dressers) to upstairs etc. We had to spend days to put the stuff back to where they should be. The movers company (PRO MOVERS INC) only accepts cash which should be a red flag.
   
   Anyway, we are in the process of disputing the credit card charge. It's nightmare to use such horrible service.

   

4. So happy how it all worked out!

   When our original moving company bailed on us thirty minutes before pick up, we scrambled trying to find someone to accommodate our move asap as we had to be out of our condo that weekend. They scheduled us for the next morning, arrived promptly and got the job done. They are efficient and careful. No damage to any items. Even though they charge by the hour, they work fast! Their cost was very reasonable and I would recommend them to others.

5. Had zero damage to our belongings

   Moving is hard and stressful and after hearing horror stories from everywhere I was really dreading it. However, I found the best movers in town! Larry and Carl were awesome! Showed up early, were super careful, process was straight forward in terms of payment, and they were fast. We estimated four hours and they were done in three. I really highly recommend.

6. They made our move very easy

   Arrived at our 3-bedroom apartment and shrink wrapped all of our dressers and glass material belongings. Really took care of our stuff and got the job done in 3 hours. If you're moving I recommended giving them a call and the price was very fair for the quality of work they put out. Thanks for the awesome and smooth move guys. I really hate to move and was really dreading it but you guys made it seem effortless.

7. Best Movers!

   On the day of our big move, a huge team from this movers arrived on time and they did a spectacular job. We had a ton of stuff and most difficult items. The most difficult was a huge sectional couch that we had to hoist through balcony. They managed to do it, allowing us to keep the couch. Otherwise, we would've had to leave it. I recommend the movers to all.

8. These guys are simply phenomenal

   We have gone through our fair share of movers in the past and this company are by far the best. Who knew that moving could be such a pleasurable experience if you actually have good movers who are efficient and take care of your belongings and are trustworthy. Also, the customer service from Abby and Billy was amazing. Very accommodating to our strange schedule demands. Highly recommend!

9. Avoid this Company

   I wish I had read these reviews before my elderly parents contracted with this company to move them from FL to ME. We have had a horrible experience. They are brokers and have zero control over the drivers they hire to move your belongings. In our case, the driver failed to show not once but twice, after we gave the company a chance to cure its initial breach. We were told the second driver would cost us $2K more. Many misrepresentations and outright falsehoods. We ended up having to rent a truck and move my parents at great expense/time. And we have been trying to get a refund of our $1500 deposit. We have made no less than a dozen calls, dealing with rude customer service reps who have lied to us over and over again regarding the refund. I will be contacting the NJ AG's office to request a criminal investigation if we don't receive a full refund.

10. Thank you, guys!

    David and his two other crew members were on time, pleasant, efficient and took great care with our belongings. They had wardrobe boxes, moving blankets, plastic & tape to make the move go even more smoothly. There was not a single issue during the move. After the move we received a call from the office making sure that everything was done to our satisfaction and we have no complains.

11. Great Moving company

    Hardworking guys, polite staff. Good communication, reasonable price, good and skilled guys. Nice to work with, efficient & friendly. Would recommend them to friends. Liked the flat fee versus paying per hour. Reliable and efficient - friendly movers and time taken / cost as per initial estimate. Excellent service at a reasonable price - the crew worked tirelessly and took good care of our household. They turned up on time and professional. This is the second time I have used them and I have been impressed both times.

    The service i received was smooth and efficient from the moment i did my quote to the moment i actually moved to my new property and i am truly impressed by the job that was done in a very short time. Really great service that saves time and stress in our anyway busy life. The staff was really helpful and the removal guys were very professional and hard working

13. DO NOT USE - Condom found in packaging and terrible service

    I almost have no words to describe my experience with Moving and Storage Squad. They have great sales team who promises all your needs will be met and my experience was the EXACT opposite. Not only was the customer service team extremely unhelpful and rude, the estimate was wildly low and we owed 50% more than we expected to pay, the service they hired (which we were told was not supposed to be contracted out) broke many of our belongings and there was A USED CONDOM FOUND UPON UNWRAPPING OUR FURNITURE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Learn from our mistakes. They should be put out of business.

14. BAIT N SWITCH, DON'T USE

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I wish I would have done more research. I found other reviews WARNING (even referring to Moving & Storage as a SCAM) people about Moving and Storage LLC AFTER giving them $3000. M&S was off by 50% on their estimate/quote (estimate based on inventory list that was reviewed 3 times)
    
    The quote was for $8878 on moving day it went up to $15,663. I gave my moving representative, Casey, an up-to-date inventory list multiple times during process but it was never updated so the amount was DOUBLE when movers showed up. The truck was NOT large enough so we could not complete move EVEN if we weren't upset with extreme increase in price. They HIRED a 3rd party LOCAL moing company (even thou they tell you the movers are employeed by them storage is owned by them). The movers WERE NOT out of state movers even though our move was 1,200 miles away. The local movers that M&S hired spoken spanish so numerous communication break-downs. The local movers had the wrong moving date, no inventory list, had no idea there was a second/extra stop INCLUDED in the quote. They charged us $400 for "supplies" like extra tape!!! Even though I asked Casey from M&S up front if I needed to supply tape, blankets, and tv boxes. Was told included in estimate. The drivers called the night before said they would arrive 12 noon but showed-up at 7:30AM so the elevator was not scheduled. Any text message or VM left for Casey was NEVER returned about the problems happening. I was told she was out of office when I tried her cell phone. We ended up having to put our things into a storage looker so we could rehire an interstate moving company that would do an accurate estimate and provide a creditable mover with the correct size truck.
    
    The entire experience after the "sales pitch" to gain our business was a NIGHTMARE. I have no idea how Moving and Storage continues to stay in business. They seem so nice and helpful at the front end but I swear it was like dealing with an entirely different company once the move was scheduled to happen. This "company" JUST WANTS YOUR MONEY!!!

15. I would use them again!

    Jerry and his crew arrived earlier than expected. They were very kind and once again broke down how I would be charged. This was helpful considering everything that goes into a move. They moved like lightening even up and down 3 flights of stairs at my old location as well as my current 2 flights. They were done under 3hrs and best part they were under my quote! Thank you Jerry and team for all of your hard work!
