Official Van Lines and the team have done a great job. They have provided me with the best services. my wife and I were so worried about the relocation how would everything work. But Official Van Lines worked so well for me they made a great move for me everything worked as I wanted it to be.

I talked to their representative and from that one call I knew, I had the best ones for my move. I was shocked by how responsive, professional and pleasant they are. We also get a reasonable price quote from them.

We didn’t have to do a single thing except let the movers in the front door. We got a call a couple days before to confirm our pickup and when they showed up they took apart and wrapped all our furniture and hand packed each box. It was the best deal out of all the moving companies we spoke to. Highly recommended movers.

Official Van Lines showed up on time and started to work immediately. Overall a first class experience. The whole moving crew were friendly and helpful. They packed everything with great care which result in no damage to anything. I Couldn't have asked for a better team. I am very happy with the results.

I had two moves with them and both went horribly wrong. They subcontract the move to smaller companies and are not responsible for anything after that. In one of our moves they gave us a wrong delivery date and I ended up booking a flight to get there on time, but then we recognized it was just a random person calling from OVL and not one had an idea about the delivery date. We ended up with a broken table, which they have sent the claim to the subcontracted company, which is obviously not responsive. For the second move, the driver came by at 6pm on a long weekend Sunday and dropped on the items and told us if we do not accept the items at that time they will through our items in a storage and we will be responsible for moving them to our place. The driver did not assemble the furniture and no one took responsibility for that. They also have hidden fees (charged by drivers for no reason). Other companies might be better than this.

They came a day late for pickup, after promising me 3 times they would be there on time. I was told I could pick my delivery day. I chose the 12th. They had a move scheduled to California and Nevada was on the way with only 1 stop in Texas. Lie.
Didn’t give me a copy of my contract.. left abruptly after packing. They still won’t provide my contract. The contract did say no more than 21 (business days). Now they say there is no guarantee.Itcould be an indefinite amount of time, but I would receive a discount if late. They keep putting me off with lie after lie. Admitted it could even be months before I get it.
They moved my stuff from Tampa to Miami where it sits. I paid almost $3000 and they want more to have another co pick it up. For moves across the country they wait until it is profitable. I feel like my stuff is being held hostage.
I’ve been staying in Airbnb racking up charges waiting since the 12th when they originally promised delivery. It’s now the 23rd. They won’t even tell me how much ransom I have to pay to hire another co. to come get it

The staff in the Official Van Line’s office was always there to answer us and making sure we had all we needed and were ready for move date. The move happened so fast and was done with precision. We feel like we made the right choice after factoring costs. I would love to recommend them to all.

This is my second move with Official Van Lines and it was amazing. They were so courteous and hard working. They communicated with my husband and me through the whole process. We knew the cost, the time estimate, and the answers to all of our questions up front. When it came to the actual move they were punctual, careful. Highly recommended.
Very Bad Experience !!
They moved my 73 year old mother, what they do is nothing short of fraud. They told her what she wanted to hear and now she is without clothing and furniture and will not give us any sort of delivery date only stating that they have 14 business days to send the items. They then refuse to return our calls. They also changed the price when they arrived. Again she is 73 taking advantage of seniors is pretty un-ethical to say the least.
They are no doubt the best movers!
They do what they expected to and complete it. They are extremely pleasant, great guys. I truly acknowledge how the individuals from Official Van Lines improved the situation on moving day and managed to load everything on van with no damage. I will suggest these guys and will utilize them for my moving needs.

The team of Official Van Lines were professional and humble and did everything s I asked them. I especially enjoyed having a couple females on the crews to show my daughter that girls can do anything guys can! I have referred Official Van Lines many times and would trust them with anything. Official Van Lines are one of the most professional companies in any industry that I have come across. We were having our furniture and other large items delivered to our new home out of storage and these guys did a great job of handling the bulky and very heavy things. These guys are inexpensive and deliver a service with integrity.

Poor service all around, full detail of what happened below but in general they are not careful with items, gave a poor estimate, laid and were not professional.
I was moving for work and we did not have a new home picked out yet so the option of having the items picked and stored for 30 days up was very appealing. I did my research on several companies and selected Official Van Lines mainly cause of their high reviews. What followed was by far the worse moving experience I have ever had. We needed to be out of our apartment on November 30th so this was stressed when selecting OVL, we were told this would not be a problem and we would be called 48 hours in advance to confirm the time of day and go over the final inventory. Since this year Thanksgiving was on the 28th I was not surprised that I had not received a call. After 11 on the 29th I started to get worried so I called and texted my contact. Even after that I still did not hear anything back until after 2. The first thing I was told was they were having issues and needed to push the move off until December 1st or 2nd. I informed them that it could not be moved as I had to be out of the apartment and in NC for work on the 2nd. They said they would work on it and call me back in 30 minutes. 2 hours later they called back and said they had to move the date back to December 1st. This back and forth went on over 3 more calls and it was not until I told them that I was going to cancel the move and figure something else out did they say they could get there on the 30th. I was told at that time the movers would be there between 12 and 2. Needless to say the day of the move I was called early and was told that it would be 4 before they could be on site. After the conversation went back and forth they said they could get to the apartment between 2 and 3 and it was a small move so they should be able to finish before 5. Once the movers showed up (at 2:40) they brought out the paperwork to be signed. At this point I was told they would not start with anything until all the paperwork was signed. I was fine with this, assuming it to be the contract and releases but it was very odd, first when the guy wanted to have me sign for both options for insurance coverage even when the paperwork said to select one of the options. I brought this up to him and he said okay and then wanted me to sign in both spots again. After a little more debate he said we could go back to that one. The other signature that was odd was the one for the review of how the movers did, I told him this was something that needed to be finished after the move was completed and he stated "we are not moving anything until you sign everything" To drive this home, I have to be out of the apartment that day, it is Saturday at almost 4 so I do not have many options. They then take almost 4 hours to load everything up in the apartment took items out of packages and charged me for additional boxes, charged me for a bed bag (that should have been in the estimate), and charged 150 to crate an entertainment center that was not worth $100. Thirty minutes before they finished the guy came to me and said they were at 350 cuft and there was probably going to be an additional 100 cuft. When they finished this number jumped up to 600 cuft. For back story I originally requested to get a quote for 500 cuft in order to compare bids apples to apples and that was reduced after we went through the inventory with Art from OVL. If the Original quote had remained it would have save me $200 on this move.
Getting my stuff scheduled to be delivered was also a pain. I called in several time before they were able to schedule the delivery. The guy then showed up with out help and placed an ad on craig's list. Helper showed up and actually was very helpful. He also used a metal dolly to move boxes in and when I told him not to cause he was going to scratch the floor he responded saying he did not and I should say please. He then did it when I was not around and scratched the floor. The night ended with him and his helper in a yelling match about pay in my backyard.
This is not a moving company.
Liars and crooks. Watch out for Michael Gerrano the chief of them which is willing to cheat not only you but his own business associates. They are not real transportation company but brokers which will keep your belongings in their storage until they will find a truck willing to take their meager fee for transportation.
After your furniture is collected from your home, your ”binding agreement” will be increased with at least 50% and will not even provide a date for delivery. From that point on you are in their greedy hands.
For me it meant 7 months of waiting and an U-Haul rental to extract my belongings from their storage and to drive it myself. The total cost exceeded 2 times the original “binding agreement”.
