Good Movers.
We found Orion to be an excellent choice to handle the moving of our belongings. The estimate provide was very accurate from the price ot the move to delivery time frames they were spot on.
The movers were polite and took great care in wrapping our items and protecting our walls and floors. We would choice Orion again in a minute. .
Fantastic Experience.
We decided on Orion van lines to coordinate our move based on their good reviews a long with a fantastic sales team. Warren was very easy going and not pushy like most of the the sales people we encountered at other moving companies. The quote provide was right on the mark for 13,000 pounds.
The movers were polite and took very good care in the protecting and loading of our belongings. Kendall was our foremen on the move and was just the nicest person to deal with. Our items arrived on time 12 days later in San Diego as promised. Orion took an often tedious task of moving and made it a positive. .
These Guys Rock.
Orion Van Lines did a good job with our move, the movers worked hard and took good care of our furniture. They wrapped all our TV's and pictures with moving pads and crated our pool table. We had no damages and were very pleased with the service provided. If possible ask if Randy's crew is available for your move they were very nice to work with. We will no doubt be recommending their services to friends and family.
Orion moving company.
If you are looking for a good moving company Orion van lines is the way to go in our experience. We moved a 3 bedroom home from FL to WA in October using Orion movers and we are very happy that we did. The gentlemen were pleasant and took good care of our items wrapping everything in moving blankets so we would have no scratches on our furniture. They gave us an estimate that in the end came in $185.00 under the quote, needless to say this was a pleasant surprise. I wish I would have known about Orion for our last move as their pricing was $975.00 less for the same move with better service! .
Wonderful Service.
Orion van lines and their agent were just sensational to work with. The agent was out of Iowa and could not have been any nicer or more professional with the service provided.
Donald was our moving consultant and was wonderful to deal with. He handled our household moving and even arranged to move our autos and snowmobile ae well.
We just want to say that we could not have asked for anything more other than a free move and been happier.

Price quoted and tack on charged.
The salesman at Orion was good, Erik gave a good quote. But the other movers did show up on time and everything was great except at the end they said their large truck would not fit in the condo community we were moving into and they would need to charge us extra to transfer to a smaller truck. Since they had our destination address for 2 months until pick up, they should have known about the truck size and not had to gun us for more money. This is unacceptable and I would never use them again as these hidden charges are the worst! .
Great Choice, Highly Recommend.
After mulling through what seemed like 100 moving companies we decided on using Orion van lines to handle our move. The whole process was made clear from our coordinator Erik who was just the biggest help. The movers that completed our move were just great, clean truck nice guys and everything was handled with the up most professionalism, Orion even arranged to ship our autos.
We have moved a few times before and can honestly rate this move right at the top of our list. We will definitely be recommending Orion van lines to our friends and family. .
Orion Van Line did a Terrible Job for us!
We hired Orion Van Lines in the fall of 2013 to move us from Minnesota to Seattle. One thing we learned was that Orion is a broker, and hires moving companies to do the actual moves, Best Price Moving in our case.
The crew showed up days late, and when they finally got there, they worked a couple of hours, and then the leader left for 24 hours because of the Sabbath, putting us further behind.
The movers packed our possessions in the truck in a very rough fashion. We had a number of things damaged in the move, and they only pay for what things weigh, not what items are actually worth. There was at least $1000 in damage, but received only a $117 settlement.
They had a poor inventory system, which was totally ignored during the unload. We’re not sure if all of our things made it or not. And for the unload, they hired helpers from Craigslist - guys they had never met, and might or might not have been criminals.
In summary, Orion Van Lines and Best Price Moving and Storage did a terrible job with my move and I would never recommend them.

Hey Nicole just wanted to give you and Orion van lines props on the service provided during our move to California. We have moved a few times over the last 20 years or so and this was by far the best experience. If anyone is searching for a quality mover try Orion van lines and specifically request Nicole as your coordinator, she was amazing.

Orion van lines.
After 10 years in Florida we decided to head back north as we missed the winters and change of seasons. We interviewed a dozen or so movers and finally went with Orion for a few reasons.
First their sales person was very clear in their quote and very helpful with our unique needs, secondly the price which was not the cheapest but more middle of the road we considered reasonable and void of hidden fees. The actual mover men were very nice and did a super job with our packing and moving.
The only negative would be that they were held up a day later for delivery then anticipated but overall the move was just great.

Minnesota to Texas.
We used Orion van lines for our move from Saint Paul to Dallas in October. We chose Orion based on mostly positive review’s we had read on this website and others. The mover’s themselves acted very professional and packed and loaded our items in a timely manner. The move was contracted for at 11,000 lbs for $6500.00 and that was the price paid- the only negative was that they delivered a day later then estimated not a killer but I thought it was worth mentioning.
West Coast Move.
We completed a move from Chicago to LA with Orion van lines. The move was of a 2 bedroom home including packing and our vehicle. The move was conducted very professionally and for the agreed price. Our overall experience was very positive and we would absolutely recommend their services to others. .
Would Highly Recommend Orion Van Lines.
I was contacted by Nicole Staci with Orion Van Lines while researching moving companies to coordinate a move for our college-aged son. Over a period of several days and multiple telephone conversations, she patiently answered all my questions and walked me through every detail without pressuring us to make an immediate commitment as she was aware that we were also researching other moving companies as well. Our son moved into an apartment in downtown Philadelphia with a significant number of rules and move in stipulations, but Orion Van Lines took special care to communicate with the office staff in order to review and abide by all the building’s requirements & specifications. The actual pickup and off load went exactly as planned and the movers could not have been more polite or professional. We were so pleased with the service that Orion Van Lines & the contracted movers provided that we will be contacting them when our son moves again in two years and will need to relocate for grad school. .

I wanted to thank Erick our contact at Orion van lines for doing a wonderful job with arranging our move. I must say from the start I felt overloaded with all the different quotes and options being thrown at us- and of course every moving company advising in different ways to calculate our move and costs.
After a month of deliberation we decided on Orion thanks most in part to Erick’s no pressure approach and simple and easy to understand terms, and we are happy we did. The move itself was carried out by a very well organized team of movers that worked quickly but carefully to load our belongings. We were quoted a price and the price was accurate.
