  1. Moving to Vancouver.

This is pur third move with provincial movers and each time we have been very pleased with the service provided. The men arrive in uniform this time( I see their improvement) and are professional and courteous in their duties. I know we could probably get to vancouver sooner with other companies but I don't want to pay double the price just for a couple days sooner service. Everytime I move I got more discounted price from them. These guys are awesome.

  2. Moving Nightmare.

This company is a complete Joke They picked up my belongings July 29 2016 and I never got my belongings until Oct 11 2016. There were multiple dates given both in writing and verbal and none of them were ever correct. It took a total of 75 days from the date of pick to get my stuff from Halifax to Calgary. They customer service is basically non existent. James Daniels and Patrick Hartman are nothing but lying crooks. I was given a total of 5 different delivery dates via email and multiple ones verbally on the phone. These 2 will yell at you on the phone and hang up when you say things they don't want to hear or have questions they don't want to answer and these are the people who are managing your move. They sub contracted the pick up and the final delivery. When my stuff finally arrived after 75 days my dresser which was less then 1 year old was completely smashed and they are trying to say that it was shipped that way, I have multiple dishes that arrived broken. The boxes were damaged and they were all brand new when they were picked up and you could tell just from the shape of the boxes that everything was handled ruff. When they showed up to do the delivery the never brought my couch, mirrors and ironing board. As per part of there contract they are suppose to give you an inventory list the date of pick up. After multiple emails I had to get a lawyer to call them just to get this document. and when it came there were items missing because they didn't make the list until the items arrived in Ontario. I have put a claim in with there insurance and now they are trying to say that there is a deductible on it of 350 $ and that they will only pay for 60 cents on the pound. these guys are a complete joke. If you look them up at the better business bureau they have over 20 complaints listed with them (many of which are still unresolved. At the end of the day James and Patrick have told me to take them to court if I don't like and I am so done with dealing with these people that I will see them in small claims court.. Please beware and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY WILL STEAL YOUR ITEMS AND RIP YOU OFF.

  3. THey are scammers are using the name "Nexus Express" too.

They did not show up on the moving day. They used subcontractors to move our stuff. We had to ask several times to have the scale ticket. The weight was too high and we had to ask for re-scaling and paying based on the actual weight.
Steven (just a fake name) contacted us that they had disposed our belongings! We had to get the police involved and the police is investigating the case. CONTACT THE POLICE, DON'T LET THESE SCAMMERS GET AWAY WITH THIS.
They operate under "Nexus Express" too. Steven, David, Jennifer,..they are all a network of scammers.

  4. Never use this company Provincial Movers.

Worst company every. Charged me for 900 lbs when my things weight barely 400lbs. They were suppose to deliver my things from Edmonton to New Westminister. They picked up August 11 and was to deliver on August 15 did not get my things until September 23. I had dishes broken and my chair stained. Very rude customer service. So many more things. I took 2 days off because they keep saying they will deliver but never showed up. So many things! ONLY USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TOTAL FRUSTRATION AND HEADACHE!

  5. Do Not Make a Contract With This Company.

I wished that I have read these reviews before we contracted with this company to move our stuff. To make it easier for you to make a decision, here are a few of things to consider:
    1. Some of our stuff went missing - including a few bottles of whisky that were included in our personal items
    2. Most of our items were broken - they claimed that we could file an insurance claim with them - however, I really don't believe we will get anything from these people
    3. They charge your credit card before you authorized them to do so. According to the credit card company, they can charge your credit card at anytime for any amount if you have provided them with your card information.
    4. They don't provide you with evidence to validate the weight they are charging you.
    5. They called you half an hour before delivery your stuff. Forget about the five to six weeks storage they promise you.
    6. They threaten to dispose of your property if they don't get to deliver it in half an hour
    7. They will deliver your stuff when it is convenient to them.

Please note if you contract with Provincial Movers then you will be next one putting a review here!!

  6. Horrible Horrible Horrible Experience!

Simply the WORST experience I've ever had with a company. DO NOT USE THEM. They lie, are incredibly unreliable and are gracious only until they have your stuff. I was informed that I had to pay a deposit of $100 and then pay they remainder once the goods were delivered. He implicitly stated three separate times that payment would be made once the stuff was dropped off. They have my stuff and the bank calls me because they illegally attempted to charge me twice for the move without my consent and DOUBLE the price that was quoted. I called them to confront them about this and they were belligerent to me on the phone and told me that if I didn't pay, my stuff would be delivered much later. They quoted me a week and it took a MONTH for my stuff to arrive at the destination. Just ridiculously bad service. They also informed me that they would provide me with a days notice of arriving to their destination, but surprisingly, they didn't. They phoned me to tell me that they were there and then since I was at work and not able to take the call, they left immediately. I had told them that my friends would be receiving the goods and they didn't say anything of it, but then when they arrived the next day, they stipulated that I had to sign a form within 30 mins or my stuff would be lost because they had to leave the province. What the #$#@! I then received a call saying that I hadn't signed the form sufficiently and he yelled at me in a condescending tone. Just egregiously bad. AVOID!

  7. Do Not Use Provincial Movers!!

Provincial Movers did not show up on two separate occasions to move my household belongings as agree to based on our written and verbal agreement. I had to find a new moving company. Their customer service was absolutely terrible. They also did not give me my deposit back, and lied to me on several occasions.

  8. Do Not Use This Company!!

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

-Terrible customer service (Very difficult to reach and when you tried to discuss any issues with them they get very hostile very quickly)
    - They do not reply to or acknowledge multiple attempts at emails
    - They said that they would call to confirm 24 hrs in advance if when they were going to come. Guess what?? They did not
    - Did not pick up my stuff on time
    - Was not delivered on time
    - Was told that all my furniture weighed 1200 lbs but there was no proof or slip indicating that this was true.
    - They did horrendous job reassembling the furniture.

Please, please do not use this company.

I have reported this company to BBB.

  9. Don not use this company - Cheats and Cons Galore.

I usually do not provide reviews on Forums but I'll make an exception for this company.
I used this Provincial Movers to perform my move from Edmonton to Prince Albert.
Booked and provided the down payment for the move. Fine.

The estimate was for 1000 lbs. Okay
On Thursday, another company came to pick up the items - Real Canada Moving. Okay.
After the weighing, the weight came out to less than 500 lbs and I called the office and the sales person James said they would not be re-estimating cause the minimum is 1000 lbs. Okay.

On Monday, I get a call from another Driver, John, asking if they could come @ 8:00 AM on Tuesday to deliver, which we spoke about and agreed to for Monday Evening. At 10:00, I get a call saying they'll be into SK @ 2:00 so if they could deliver it @ 7:00. Fine.

At 6:45 this morning, I get a call saying there was a fire on highway 11 for a trailer, that held them up and they would be to SK @ 10:30/11:00. Okay. Naturally, I went to all news websites and all traffic sites, also was looking at early morning CTV and not notices provided for anything like this.

They show @ 11 and then the driver demands extra money for the elevator/stair fee. At which point, I told him that was not a part of the agreement. He started to get angry and I was livid for this. I just paid the stupid fee but they are a con shop and BBB has not accredited them.

  10. Cheat & Fraud Company.

I hired Provincial Movers for my Move from Montreal to Scarborough (Toronto). I booked 10 days in advance of moving day, Paid CAD $ 100.00 in advance. On moving day, No Truck showed up, No Mails, were responded, Office and Toll-free numbers went unanswered. I did wrote to them later also many times, no response. I did get their office later twice and responses I got were shocking. First Calli got response - Lady that picked up phone giggled and said, it's common in moving companies. 2nd call - I specified, I may take Legal action and, I was responded, we keep Government and law authorities in our pockets. So now, I have no alternative, just to sit back, loose money. This company Cheated me, did Fraud, and took away money and not even afraid of any law.
