1. Smith Surrive Ian and his team were awesome.

   Smith Surrive Ian and his team were awesome. They moved me from my 3rd story apartment to my new home in North Carolina. They told me I had a 2 day window for picking up which I thought was weird but once it was explained to me I understood. The movers wrapped all of my furniture so they would not damage it. They were quick and made sure that I felt comfortable. I would recommend Quest Movingmoving service to anyone looking for a reliable moving company.

2. Quest Moving Review.

   Everything went downhill right after we paid our deposit (which no respectable mover asks for I leaned; red flag #1)
   
   Moving crew showed up a day late so we missed our flights to Seattle. Next day they showed but were 3 hours late again.
   
   After they packed up all of our stuff (3 hrs before the next flights I booked) they made me sign their [EDIT] contract - pretty much at gunpoint at that point - that was as I later came to find out full of terms that walked back all the promises made at point of sale.
   
   Then they finally delivered our stuff 2 weeks and two days late with many things broken/damaged/missing.
   
   Just rent the UHaul or Penske truck. It's worth it. But whatever you do, don't hire these dirtbags.

3. No move ever has ever gone smooth for me..

   I suffer from severe anxiety and I can not remember a move that didn't send me through the roof. My husband was being transferred with little notice and his relocation department was pretty much incompetent. I was able to get a quote, and a truck the next day. I would have done the packing myself but with the little notice we got I had Quest do the packing for me.
   
   They treated my things with care and I they made me feel at ease which is very hard to do! I am impressed with how they packed up my breakables and the things I hold dear. Start to finish Quest eased a very stressful situation. The truck got to our new house in 3 days. I will use them again if I ever have to move again.

4. Horrible experience and it’s not even over yet.

   This mover showed up and after quoting us $1900-$2100 and telling us that they would pick us up on Sunday and deliver our things on Monday, told us they wouldn't be able to deliver our items to us the next day. Then they told us there was no way the quote was even close. We live in a 700 sq foot apt. One bedroom /den. The Russian crew were rude and they would taunt us, "now how much do you think it costs?" Im not even kidding. We spent an hour freaking out in the beginning because I'm a lawyer and my husband is a lawyer and we both had to work on Tuesday. Finally after an hour of this rude Russian man telling me he'd never deliver our things the next day the owners figured it out and promised they would make sure someone delivered our things but that they don't usually promise these things. You promised us our dates. Who moves without date commitments. Ugh! Anxiety is now through the roof and customer service experience is ruined within 30 mins of them arriving. Now that the owners promised our items would get there I let them proceed. One hour wasted. The movers were careless with our things. I kept asking them to please be careful as I watched them bump our boxes and items into walls. I watched our picture frame boxes fall on the floor twice in front of me. Staring at this and dumbfounded how a company with excellent reviews could ever treat us this way I asked again to please be careful. They tried to intimidate me and rolled their eyes and said they were being careful to dismiss my many requests as items bounced off the walls and corners. They spoke in Russian and laughed, making us just even more enraged they hey didn't care about our things or being careful. Looking down at the truck from my bedroom window I watched them bash our boxes and fling them into the truck. I was mortified. At this point what do you do when you have to be somewhere to start work and this is your only option. I cried. I cried a lot for feeling taken hostage and for being treated so poorly. For our items that we've worked so hard to acquire be disregarded. For being treated so rudely. The kicker? The final estimate was over $5k. I'm not kidding. I lost it again. My partner was irate we'd been taken by this company. After throwing a fit they knocked off $900. We were stuck. They would go no lower, they had our items, and we had to make sure they arrived the next day. I signed because what choice did I have. I was being charged twice the amount of what I was quoted in a 700 sq ft apt. Do not use this service. I will update my post after we receive our items to let you know what / if anything was broken and if they arrive like they say they will. Get a POD, hire movers in both places, don't use this company. I've never felt so disappointed in a service and so vulnerable with no options in my life. I am not a complainer. I leave many great reviews on Yelp. This experience was horrific and it's not even over yet. Btw they require cash or cashiers check upon delivery of your items so you can't even dispute this. You can guess why they do this.. to hold you hostage and prevent disputes where they won't get paid because they've jacked up their rates. This is a fing scam and it's intimidating to the one being moved when you're doing a time sensitive trip. They didn't even untape the open doors to our apt when they left. They could care less about anything.

   

5. Good company.

   After getting bombarded with phone calls my husband and I really liked Anthony. They were not the cheapest, but I trusted my gut. Anthony took his time and answered all our questions. He didn’t tell us what we wanted to hear like some of the other pushy salesman from other companies. We were getting told our items were getting delivered in less then a week From LA to Nashville. We were also told the companies “happen to have a truck on that route” by multiple companies. I’m very skeptical of everything and this was no different. Anthony spent hours on the phone with my Husband also. Move went great. Kris kept in contact with us and all our items were delivered in a timely manner. I’d personally recommend Quest to anyone looking for a moving company and Anthony deserves a raise!

6. I feel lucky I got them.

   My job transferred me to New York with little noticed. Greg was able to get me a truck the next day. I’m extremely busy so I had them do all the packing. Very impressed with how they packed up my piano and they took apart my pool table. Sam and his guys were great. They even brought my German Shepard treats. From start to finish they were great. The truck got to my apartment in New York in 2 days. I feel lucky I got them instead of the horror stories I hear about other companies.

7. Gary and his team went above and beyond.

   My husband and I are retiring. We took a 2-month vacation after my hubby last day at work. Quest gave us our first month free while we went on vacation. They kept in contact via email while we were on the other side of the world. We coordinated a move date and all of our items arrive3d 2 days after we got back. One night in a hotel wasn’t the best after traveling but Quest took care of our room for the night. Upon arrival they staged my new home and even brought us a bottle of wine as a house warming present. Gary and his team went above and beyond. I just recommended my brother to use them.

8. Quest is best.

   We choose Quest Moving because they own their own trucks and don’t pay their moving crews by the hour. Our crew was nothing short of amazing. Ian brought all the materials. We didn’t have T.V boxes but Ian had them reading. They laid mat’s down throughout my house and were extra careful not to damage anything. Everything got to our new home in Dallas in less then a week. Quest is the best.

9. I’d recommend them to anyone looking to move across the country.

   My mother became extremely ill and I had to move back home. I filled out a form online and my phone didn’t stop ringing for a week. Fortunately, I spoke to Aaron from Quest. He has been in the industry for over 10 years and it shows. He understood all my requests and gave me a good quote. I listened to a few other companies that were much cheaper. Arron warned me and educated me on how long distance moving works. With all the stress I’m going through with my mom I didn’t need anymore. Arron kept in contact with me through out the move. Yan and his team were fast and courteous. They gave me I’d recommend them to anyone looking to move across the country.

10. The move was much less then I thought it was going to be and everyone.

    I got referred to Quest from a friend that had just used them and told me how seamless their move was. I spoke to Danielle who was amazing. She took her time and answered all my questions. Yan oversaw the crew that showed up. He was very professional. I could tell his team had worked together before. It took 2 hours to move my 3-bedroom house. He gave me free TV boxes and made sure my grandmothers piano was taken care of. They delivered all my belongings on time. The move was much less then I thought it was going to be and everyone from Quest was great.

11. Good customer service from Greg.

    I was transferred to Tampa for work and had to choose a moving company quick. I got 3 quotes (my work required it) and Quest was the company I rally wanted my company to choose. I spoke to Greg. Greg is a fisherman. We had a lot in common and I felt like he really cared. My company approved Quest. Greg was great the whole move. He even answered his phone on Sunday. I’m extremely happy with him and his whole team. Greg is taking me fishing next time I’m in South Florida.

12. Kris and Jennifer were great.

    Choosing a moving company is much more difficult than I thought. I started reading all of these horror stories on line. I wasn’t even going to use a moving company until speaking to Quest. They provided an over the top customer experience. Kris and Jennifer were great. The moving guys were respectful and made sure I understood everything. I will recommend them to my friends and family.

13. David was an absolute pleasure to work with.

    David was an absolute pleasure to work with. The process was explained to me in detail. I received the welcome call from Kris and they communicated with me the whole time. I needed to change the date and they worked with me. I am very meticulous about my items. I’m happy to say all of item arrived on time in great condition after traveling from San Diego to Montana. Yan and his crew professionally packed all of my furniture and didn’t charge me extra to bubble wrap a chandelier. I’d highly recommend them for anyone looking for a moving company.

14. Good movers for flat rate move.

    I was looking for a “flat rate move” after reading different reviews online. I didn’t want any hidden fees. I had a few in home estimates and knew about how much my items weighed and how much cubic feet I have. Gary mentioned he would do it whichever way I felt more comfortable. I choose to have their crew go by cubic feet which to my surprise was extremely accurate. I didn’t tell Gary what the in home estimates showed. I just went over the item list with him. Quest’s was basically the same and much less expensive. I like having the option to text and they responded almost immediately. They were on time and actually delivered my items early which was fine with me. (They did communicate) They under promised and over delivered. A+ experience!

15. They have now customer for life.

    I spoke to 4 different companies and got quotes from 3. I choose Quest because of my moving consultant Aaron. From the time I put down my deposit to the time the delivery truck left Aaron was with me the whole way. He answered all of my questions and explained everything in detail. I don’t like the feeling of being “sold”. Aaron told me “we probably aren’t going to be the cheapest but like most things in life you get what you pay for”. He followed up when I asked him to. He wasn’t pushy. It was worth every penny. Quest has gained a customer for life.
