After reading so many awful reviews about the movers, it was so hard to choose movers but I'm glad my first large moving experience was with Royal Canadian Vanlines. Reasonable price, responsive staff, and efficient moving. Livent confirmed with me prior to and on the same day of moving, and the team was very considerate, asking me where I'd like to place my furniture and belongings. Thank you for making my move so much easier!

First thing first, I never liked movers just like most of us, as many aren't professional and honest. Royal Canadian vanline had remarkable reputation so I called them to move my family to another province and soon calling them again. Promptly, serious, friendly, no b.s., fast, reliable, reasonable cost. I'm happy I can depend someone to handle our belongings.

I found that Danny? (foreman) was unquestionably great. I have no complaints. His team worked together efficiently and although moving is a very worrying experience, I found that Danny and his team made my experience not only easy but in some cases, a "enjoyable" experience. They worked tremendously hard. I had steps in the old house which was difficult but there was no damage or loss to any of my furniture or the walls. I would have no trouble recommending Royal Canadian Van Lines to anyone moving. Thank you for putting together such great movers.
Move from Burlington to Markham.
We had a wonderful experience with Royal Canadian vanlines. Our three-man team was fast, friendly, and careful. They called half an hour before my scheduled move time to check in and arrived promptly on time. They packed up the house so quickly but still took care to wrap everything. First time I haven't had anything break while moving! The company was easy to schedule with--overall, very professional service. I highly recommend working with them and Dennis!

Well planned move.
This was a very well planned long distance move provided by this company. My wife and I were extremely satisfied with their level of customer service. None of my valuables were lost or smashed (actually happened to us once before). My friends told me about the moving companies changing the rate or adding extra warehouse or dispatch fees middle of the move. This simply didn’t happen during my move, so for that I am satisfied, thankful and would recommend Royal Canadian Vanlines to others.

I've used Dennis' team for both moves and it's super affordable and reliable compared to the competition but more importantly he always has the best guys they're so friendly and helpful and put extra care to my things. Such a great company!!
Moving from Vancouver to Oshawa.
We had a farm house. We had sold that one in Vancouver and were moving back to our other home in Oshawa. I googled movers for the area and Royal Canadian Van Lines was one of the highest in the list. And they were wonderful also very flexible with our dates even though some of the additional circumstances that were totally beyond our control during the move. Definitely recommend them all.

Found them after a bit research about the moving companies and their reliability. They've done more than they promised. They took the furniture in pieces and put it together at my new place. Not a single stress. Definitely A+.

These guys are awesome. Packed my grandma’s over 40 years of stuff with care and patience. Other than couple small damages to the boxes they were pretty amazing and professional.

After my sister in law suggested using Royal Canadian Van Lines, I figured I should try them out. They arrived on time as they promised and the crew were very friendly and so efficient. All the furniture was wrapped well even the bike :) and they also brought some wardrobe boxes to use for my clothes. Our salesman Dennis stopped by to check on the guys and supervise the loading team. That was beyond expected. Thanks to them to make this stressful move to an easy peasy lemon squeezy. Recommend to all.

Ontario to west coast: good communication & service.
We moved from Ontario to Vancouver Island with Royal Canadian Van Lines. Dennis and every dispatcher I spoke with was always very responsive and helpful over email and phone. They picked up our stuff on the scheduled day (a bit outside the time range they gave, but that wasn't a problem and to be expected with moving companies), and delivered it right on time. The moving crews were very helpful and polite. Our stuff was packed well—just a few bits of wear and tear on the boxes, but again, I suspect this is typical for any move. It took about two weeks for our stuff to arrive on the west coast, and final delivery was made a week after that.
This was my first time doing a long-distance move, and I was horrified by the reviews I read for the vast majority of companies. Royal Canadian Van Lines had one of the higher initial quotes I received, but the reviews were consistent, and my research suggests that many other companies lowball you for the initial quote and then add on costs wherever they can.
I obviously can't speak for what our experience with any other company would have been like, but I'm very satisfied with our move with Royal Canadian Van Lines.
