Everything could not have possibly gone smoother. Delivery and pickup was just as they had promised at each location. They worked around our tight schedule the day before the auction. Everything arrived just as we had put it in the POD, no shifting or damage at all. I honestly don't know how we would have done it otherwise without hiring a professional mover and spending a lot of money. I would definitely recommend this to others.

They were courteous and careful. They were efficient. In fact, the actual cost came in several hundred dollars less than the initial estimate. This move was a local move. However, based on my experience here, I will definitely be using them again for my upcoming interstate relocation.

I never used a moving company before. So it being my first time I was hesitant. But the staff and crew of Summit Van Lines made me feel very comfortable with my decision. The movers that came to pick up my stuff were very fast and efficient. And the call center was very helpful as well. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with a moving company. The price was awesome, in my opinion it's the best you will find.

Not only the Summit Van Lines both pick-ups but they did the office pick up charge. They were always sincere and treated us with respect as well as the actual movers that showed up to do the physical work. It’s not as easy as you think to find a reliable mover her but I will tell you that this is one of them and my advice to anyone would be to call and get a quote just to see for yourself. I hope your experience will be as good as ours was. I will recommend family members and friends to this moving company.

Do Not Use!!
After moving many times over the past 25 years with little of no damage - Summit made up for that!! Unbelievable - items crushed, wood chipped, cracked wooden bed frame, buckled bike wheels.. Boxes had water damage and tape was literally off. Even boxes marked fragile were crushed. The delivery mover said "Don't worry u have insurance". Long distance move - after 3 weeks on west coast they still had my furniture on the east. Steer clear of this company. Not worth it!
Call another company!
Worst movers ever!! $2000in damaged furniture and they didn't even care! Pictures were sent but didn't seem to matter, couldn't make this up. Left our baby grand piano sitting in garage in (inclement weather) told us to call someone else to move into house even though they had charged us for moving the piano so had to pay someone else to do their job. (no reimbursement for this by company).
Disaster.
The drivers just dumped and ran saying they were behind on their schedule. Numerous photos of pieces of furniture with drivers holding pieces. I had replacement cost insurance which did't cover anything (? $400 cost ripoff. Money the company just sticks in their pocket). Numerous boxes were lost to be told they would never lose that many boxes (minimum of ten). My assessment was $10,000 not including the loss of my brothers ashes which they showed no remorse. Stay away, don't take the risk as there are other movers.
Poor Quality.
I hired Summit to do a move for my mother and they managed to damage a few items in the process. They pretend to care when they deliver the move. We pointed out broken things and they took notes and pictures, then they tell you to start a claim with their insurance company (moving claims.net) which is a third party company. When I called Summit and asked them to send me the pictures and notes they took, they told me that they don't have that information. You will take months going back and fwd with the insurance company, having to prove that the items were damage by the movers. This whole time, Summit is not in this process because they will tell you to deal with the insurance comany. The total estimated amount of damage they caused was close to $1000. I submitted the claim in July 2019 and Feb 2020, the insurance company sends me a settlement letter stating that they will only pay $72. These companies are a joke! DO NOT GO WITH THEM!! save yourself the hassle, do some reserach and choose a better moving company. The burden of proof will be put on you to go through their convoluted insurance process to only be dissapointed in the end. I did not sign the settlement, and I'm currently seeking legal advice. This has become personal to me.
Do Not Use This Company!!
The company was using a WASTE Management employees to move my belonging to another state.
The mover did not have a company logo, not t-shirts.
They damaged my belongings in boxes labeled HANDLE WITH CARE..
Irresponsible, expensive and horrible company.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY again.
