Great company with great folks.
From the first phone call Arthur was very friendly and extremely
professional. 2 movers and foreman showed up right on time the morning of my move and ready to get started. One of the guys went through the paperwork with me very thoroughly to make sure I knew exactly how much the whole process would cost me and what I was going to pay for. I like that -
step by step details really helped to put me at ease.
These guys were quick also paid attention to details and care with my belongings definitely won them points.
All in all, from start to finish, did the move in 3 hours, well, maybe 4 hours maximum, but that's pretty quick cause it was 2 bedroom apartment on the second floor. They also took the time to roll out carpets and set up furniture.

ANDRE AND ALEX ARRIVED 20 MINUTES LATE. HOWEVER, THEY MADE UP FOR IT. THEY WORKED QUICKLY AND DELIGENTLY, NEVER COMPLAINED AND REMAINED FOCUSED AND FRIENDLY THROUGHOUT THE MOVE. THEY TOOK 2HOURS 20 MINUTES TO LOAD UP AND ONE HOUR AND A HALF TO UNLOAD. THEY WERE STRONG CARRYING HEAVY PIECES AND NEVER MADE A MISTAKE. NO MARKS LEFT ANYWHERE. THE PRICE FOR THE MOVE WAS VERY FAIR AND THE QUALITY OF WORK EXCELLENT. I WILL RECOMMEND SUN CITY MOVERS FOR SURE.

When searching the internet for a company move to pack and transport a household from Lakeland to Jacksonville, Sun City Movers answered an inquiry. A very nice sounding gentleman named Arthur called me and asked what we were moving, and based on that conversation gave a Binding Estimate via email. He called repeatedly until a decision was made to use them. The company is listed as a 5-star business and highly rated with BBB. His estimate was the lowest of three. Originally, the schedule was to pack on the first day and transport the second. But the company changed that and said it would take a few hours to pack and they would drive and unload in Jacksonville the same day. The day of the pack and move, 3 people arrived and spent the entire day packing. They were not professional at all. The packers did not hang clothes in wardrobes, but dumped clothing, hangers and all into boxes. When the packers finished a roll of tape, they left the empty tube right where there, instead of discarding them. My daughter-in-law was with them and left for Jacksonville when the truck left. Nothing was said about additional payment being due. Since they planned to have their furniture, the family waited at the house for the truck to arrive. After the truck arrived at 10:00 PM, the driver announced that they needed more money, TWICE the original estimate, or they would not unload. At that time, there was no place to get the required money order. They held their belongings hostage. So my son and wife slept on the floor that night. It's a good thing they didn't have their 14-month old baby with them. My son tried repeatedly to contact Sun City Movers with no success. Since I made the original contact, I contacted Arthur, who sounded sad and regretful that we had that experience. He said he would speak to the owners about a possible refund. No future contact was made or received. VERY DISAPPOINTED in Sun City Movers.

It was a small local move in Hollywood,Fl. The guys were in time. They took everything I pointed and delivered to the 3rd flood without elevator. The whole job took them 2 hours. Unbelievable. Thank you guys.
