I found out I was moving about 2 months ago. I gave myself plenty of time to do some research on local moving companies. Ive moved many times in my life all throughout the country so I have my own personal process when it comes to selecting a mover. I live in Virginia so I wanted to find a company based out of the state preferably. I wanted a company that did the move themselves and would not sell it to a third party. Titan Moving fit the bill. I contacted them directly and started the process. I'm very familiar with how it works so I had my list prepared .
My representative and I spent a few days back and forth reviewing and updating my list so when the movers showed up I had all my smaller items packed and the movers and I were able to check things off as the items went onto the truck. They broke down my beds and the rest of my dressers. They specially wrapped my televisons and crated my other items I had asked for. They were very respectful of my home and no damage was done to the carpets or walls. The transit time was quick as well and when we arrived to my new home I simply told the movers what rooms the furniture was going into and they placed it accordingly.
Ive very pleased with the level of service I had with Titan. I was iin contact with somebody any time I had questions and I was updated regularly. Ive had my share of not so great moves and they are nothing but professional. I come here happily to leave my review of their service. I'm a hard working woman and moving is very expensive. They are honest and upfront with costs and do not operate in a grey area. Thank you so much it was a pleasure.

This was an experience worth participating in again. I mean overall start to finish I was thoroughly impressed with the level of dedication and commitment that comes from The companies employees. I had moved crossed country a couple years ago for business with my 93 year old grandfather and wife and kids and it was absolutely hellacious. I can tell you from past experience I really wish had found Titan Moving and Storage back then I would have totally used their company. Well this time I was blessed and spoke with the company on several different occasions. Each time speaking with my representative I was thoroughly impressed with how informative he was. He answered all of my questions and then some. I was quoted a price that was well within my budget for professional moving services. The representative explained my quote in detail and I was even given 45 days free storage if need be for my move. I was impressed from the beginning with the company. Like I said I was moving across country and with my family. We have a lot of belongings but the representative had me walk room through room describing all of my belongings. Because we had so many thing we decided to go with their full packing services. The representative told me I wouldn’t lift a finger and that’s exactly what happened. I received my quote which the representative walked me through and explained everything in detail. This was not a cheap move by any means but my representative assured me that everything would be better than my last experience and boy was it ever. I was contacted a couple a days before the move to see how things were going and to update me on my move day. The day of the move came and it went as smooth as slicing bread. It was amazing, the guys came in they packed all of my belongings, they packed the furniture and everything else we had I was in such amazement on how well everything was packed and how efficient the workers were. The price I was quoted did not fluctuate due to such detail I had given my representative on my quote. We were moving from CT to CA so our belongings were placed in one of there storage facilities. I was told that the storage facility is climate controlled and all of my belongings would be secure until we were ready for delivery. I closed on my house in CA about and week later and called in and spoke with customer service about updating my address for delivery. The process went very smooth once again I was given the time frame for delivery from the date I gave them and they updated me closer to when my belongings were to be delivered. Overall I could really go on about how amazing the company is but I just couldn’t belief how well things went. I’ve moved cross country before but never like this. This was an experience I was truly grateful for and couldn’t be happier that the company moved my belongings! I would recommend them to family and friends and anyone that will listen. If your moving no matter how far or how much stuff your moving, Titan Moving and Storage is the company you want to move you. I felt safe knowing that they packed and were handling my belongings and that myself nor my family wouldn’t have to worry about anything. I truly can’t express enough how thankful I am.

Tirltan was great. I’ve dealt with other movers in the past and I was either scrambling to find another company because they never showed or charged extra money last minute on pockup. Working with titan was a breeze. They were organized and very professional. The gentleman assigned to put together my relocation was very familiar with the moving process and very detailed in all his questions. We didn’t miss a single item.
When the movers showed up I had everything packed and ready to ship. I’m so pleased with how this move went I referred them to my friends and family. If anybody looking for an honest and reliable company these are your guys you won’t regret the service.
Run!! They will take advantage of you and then some!
We hired this company last minute when our previous movers backed out. Titan moving and storage van lines corp from chantilly, va gave us a quote over the phone of about 7,542.00. The man was absolutely certain we wouldn't used even half a truck. We told the guy that even that was on the higher end for us. They sent out a contractor, which they told us they do not hire contractors. The movers packed and loaded from 8am to 9pm. They never gave us any intention that we were going over or that we were going to charged more. At 9pm the driver hands us a bill of 17,000.00!! Yeah 10,000.00 over our quote. They have asked for a 9,000.00 dollar wire transfer days later via email. Saying they would not even schedule our delivery until its paid. After we already gave a deposit and 3 000 dollar check. We refused!! They threatened to put our items in storage in a private hub where we would not have access. We asked to personally pick up our own things and then suddenly it's on the way. After days of calling and being treated like garbage by customer service, a contractor truck shows up (funny again because they don't hire contractors right?!) Wanting 12,000.00 in cash or postal money order. Well when we refused our belongings were taken to a private hub. They wont tell us where until they get their 12,000.00. If you check their DOT # they aren't licensed to transport household goods over interstate. Either was their contractor that came to collect the payment. We have taken legal action, contacted authority and if you check st. Louis channel 5 news at 6 tonight you'll see our story. Titan moving and storage can lines corp is a joke they will trick you into signing, make you trust them and hold your household goods hostage until you pay them the ransom. Our job number is ss8126707. Although they will just say they can't locate us in their system or some other bogus lie.

I’m a real estate agent and for the last few years every time I sold a house I’ve given them Titan Moving number. They moved well over 20 of my clients. The most recent relocation they did was from Florida to Virginia for a 4 bedroom home.
How it usually works the sales person will call and go room by room and take down every item that is being moved from home to home. The client tells the company what items they will like packed if any. My clients usually decide to pack the smaller boxes them self to save some money but the option for a full pack is also available. The movers will call prior to pickup with a window and the same thing happens in the delivery end of it.
I’ve never one time had a client tell me about any rate changes or items damaged or missing. The most recent move my customer was blown away so I’m coming here to praise Titan. I have many realtor friends and all I ever hear is horror stories. I’m very familiar with the business and will continue to retain their service. I also receive many discount as I am a frequent user. They are a step up from all the rest and these days that’s not so easy to find. Professional on time and very understanding of people schedule and understand the value of money. Very impressed with the level of consistency.
My Terrific Move.
Titan Movers we’re responsible for my relocation and I wanted to share my experience. I’m 45 years old and a lifetime South Carolina resident. I’ve never needed a professional mover in the past but my family and I found a home in Florida we liked so it was time to move.
I didn’t know where to begin so I went online to a moving website and started researching various companies. I quickly learned the difference between a carrier and a broker. It was clear to me that I was looking for a carrier and did not want to deal with an unknown third party. I made myself a list of movers who I felt were reputable and met my criteria and requested information. As I started to receive calls the general process was very similar. Each company wanted a room by room itemized list of items I was moving. After building the list we discussed packing options. The smaller boxes were optional to pack. I was looking for a full service move so I had Titan do a full pack.
I made my deposit with Titan after many phone calls back and forth and I reviewed the dimensions of my items many times. The movers gave me a 2 day window and they called a few days before to confirm the date and time. The movers showed up and dismantled all my furniture and carefullybpacked all my breakable items and boxes. They spent about 4 hours and they were on the road to Florida
They called to confirm a date and time for delivery as well. Once they showed up they began assembling the pieces they took apart and unpacked all my boxes. They were very clean and left no mess at all. The remaining amount of money was paid before delivery and the process was complete. I’m very happy with how detailed and organized Titan was. They were respectful of my needs and concerns. They at no time made me feel pressured or as it was all about money. I’m would absolutely recommend them to anybody looking for a carrier would knows the business. They made this entire move stress free and enjoyable. Thank you Titan.
Do not use this company!!
Not sure how my move was completed, but this moving company is an absolute nightmare! Do not give them any money! They have the worst customer service I have ever encountered for any type of company. They make you feel really comfortable about your choice, and then disappear. Give you one date and then show up on another. They do not return phone calls, they do not pick up the phone unless you say you have new business and want a quote. They pick up and hang up on you. I must’ve been hung up on at least 20 times by this company. They are rude, and obnoxious, and shouldn’t be allowed to have a license to do anything for anyone. I have no idea how this company is in business. They use another moving company’s name so all you see if positive reviews. All the awful reviews of people having the same issues I had are all from the last few weeks, after I booked my move with them. Stay away from them. Do not give them any money. They will make your life a living nightmare. Had to pay double what they quoted me, and then double that to FedEx my stuff to Florida from NY, cause they showed up when I wasn’t expecting them. I was told I would get 24 hours notice for both the pick up and delivery and got no notice for either. I tried to call numerous times and left numerous messages and never received a call back. Had to harass them to get anyone on the phone. Please stay away!! Thankfully I have my stuff, but really did not think that was going to happen. Worst company ever!
Multiple Stops Sucess.
Titan moving is a company that my friend had used back in January. He told me nothing but great things about this company so I figured I give them a call. I had a pickup that had to be done at my office and 2 of my homes both in different states. They gave me an excellent price and they were able to schedule all the pickups for dates and times that worked best for me.
I’ve never used a professional mover before on my life so naturally I was worried from all the bad moves I’ve read about with other companies. Titan was honest and never once went back on the things they told me. The price we agreed on was a flat fee. The moving men were all dressed nice and very polite. I wanted to come here and thank them for coordinating a successful trip. If I had to do this any other way I don’t know how on earth it would have been done. Thank you titan you’ve saved me time and money and heart ache. You guys are a standup company in a league of your own.
Theft! - do Not do Business With This Company!!
I wish I could say that I had a positive experience but I have had the opposite. We hired Titan to help us move cross country and were quoted accordingly. We made three different phones calls to confirm our quote and the items on our quote. We were forced to used their item descriptions and not the descriptions of our own. When the crew arrived to pick-up our belongings before the team even stepped into the door the guy looked into our house and said, "You are not going to have enough room". This immediately caught me off guard as I had heard this is how [EDIT] starts because the company knows you moving and they know you can't fight back. They were right.. I was forced to increase the cost of my move about 25% over what was quoted on the phone after exhaustive review. Things like you have a head board and foot board for your bed but you did not mention the hardware that holds the bed together and the wood slats underneath the mattress. We were also told over the phone that the movers would handle the pack unless an item was marked PBO (packed by owner).
The pickup moving team also started to point out items like TV's needed to be in TV boxes and other items that were not marked PBO needed to be packed. He referenced back to a line in the contract that said g that we had to pack all items. I asked why were told about PBO and he said that he had not seen PBO used on contracts before and that we had to pack everything on our own. So after spending $300 on packing materials for my TV's and wall pictures we were able to recover and get all the stuff on the truck. Total additional cost $731+$300 = $1031 in unexpected cost.
We were also told that it would be a matter of days until we had our belongings delivered. As of this posting it has been 15 business days and still no word on our stuff. Upon calling, byt he way you will need to call at least 20 times to get a person as seen in other posts on this forum we finally were able to reach someone in "customer service". We were told that we should not have given the movers such a hard time when picking up our stuff and that now they would deliver when they go around to it. Essentially we are being charged a penalty for rocking the boat about being charged more than the quote. They also said delivery time is an estimate and it could be a few additional months.
Luckily my insurance company (USAA - Thank you to all that have served) is amazing has started the claim process. At this point we have zero confidence we will ever see our belongings again and feel [EDIT] have lost many years of cherished memories. We suspect something has happened to all of our possessions and this company is not willing to tell us about the situation and would rather string us along so that they can keep our money. We were smart enough to take pictures of all of our belongs and should be financially compensated but will still suffer significant losses.
I would highly suggest not doing business with this company but if you do be EXTRA cautious!
Great Process.
Im a first time mover. I went online to get information on moving companies that could relocate me from Virginia to Texas. I’ve been in the same house for 40 years so I didn’t know what to expect. I started getting phone calls within 10 minutes of requesting information. Titan was the first company that called.
The representative and I went room by room and I gave him a list of all the pieces I was moving to my new home. He asked me of those items which needed special packing and if I was electing for packing services. He was very detailed in making sure my list was correct so on the moving date the price I was given would not change.
The movers called the day before to confirm I would be home and they gave me a window. The were careful in walking through my home and they did not track dirt or break any items. The delivery they called just like they did for pickup and took 3 hours to unload. I’m glad I decided to work with them and they handled the entire move professionally. It was a pleasant experience and I’m very satisfied with the service. I would recommend them for all relocation needs.

Thank you Titan Moving!! You guys did a fantastic job with my mother's relocation. My mother is elderly and has no helpat all and I'm 600 miles away. Titan came in and took care of everything my mom just had to open the door.
Titan came in and disassembled all the beds and packed all her boxes. They did special packing for TV's and glass items. All she had to do was point her fingers and you guys did all the rest. The move was simple and we got a great price and a senior discount.
They are an honest company and well worth the time I invested and it was money well spent. I would have did it myself but I didn't have the time or resources. They made my mother comfortable and never asked for more money do happy with this descion!!
Must Use!!
Titan Movers are a must use company! I spoke to 7 different moving companies and Titan won my business. all of the other moving companies we're only concerned with taking my money.I am wanted to make sure we had an accurate Inventory so I would not be charged extra. They also asked about my tvs and glass items. You can tell they know how to operate each move individually at the same time during a busy season. I used a manor van line in the past and even for this move I got quoted thousands more. Titan was excellent im happy I found them.
