1. New York Move.

   I've had to do a good deal of moving recently, often large moves from state to state for work but this by far was one of my best experiences with a moving company. They handled my move to New York with speed, efficiency, and care. And they made sure to answer any and all questions I had. Definitely would recommend to friends and family.

2. Stay Away - Scam Company - Fake 5 star reviews.

   I was contacted by Doug from Trans World Van Lines who provided an estimate over the phone. He also raved about the A+ BBB rating they had as well as the thousands of moves they do. I ultimately paid a deposit and set up an estimated date for pickup and he assured that he would be in contact throughout the move. That was the last time I heard from him. No one picks up when you call their number.

3. Nevada to California.

   Great moving service, on time and received everything in one piece. Will definitely be using them again in the future.

4. No hastle movers.

   With all of the worries of moving this company took a great deal of the stress out of our move. They arrived on time at our location; and they were very professional. Our belongings were delivered on time to our new location. There was no increase in price from the quote thru delivery. From start to finish we were very happy with this company; and would use them again. If anyone asked I would definitely recommend this moving company.

5. Fast and Efficient.

   For all I had to move I was relieved with quote I was given. I was treated very kindly by the movers. They also made sure my things were placed how I wanted them to be.

6. Impressed beyond measure.

   I was beyond impressed with TW. Aside from offering me the lowest price for my move, the movers were courteous and professional. I appreciated them showing up promptly, and taking the extra care to wrap my delicate and fragile items. Everything arrived in Connecticut in tip top shape. I would totally you TW again and I recommend them to everyone I know.

7. Thieves.

   These thieves took my down payment and never returned a call. I am filing a lawsuit. They will not return calls.

8. Trans World Van Lines is the worst company.

   I received 4 quotes from moving.com and this company was one of them. They gave me several discounts and promised me that they would pick up our belongings on a Wednesday in the morning (in Ohio) and deliver them to Brooklyn, New York the next day. First they showed up 2 days early (so they say anyway) and we were out. They called the next day which was still a day early and said they would arrive in 3 hours..they arrived in 6 hours). They told us that we had gone over our limit of the quote even though we were not going to move everything that we thought in the beginning..so how do you go over taking less?? Next they took everything apart! It took them hours! After they load everything they want a tip. Then tell us that the final price will likely be higher. How can that be?? So they take off and we leave for New York the following morning. We were to meet them at the apartment on Thursday. Thursday we call to find out their arrival time and they are no longer answering their phone. They will not respond to emails either. I finally got so mad because I started worrying that we had been scammed. I left some pretty nasty emails and voicemails. Then they called and said they were 5 minutes away. They never showed up! No phone call or email. They again are not taking our calls or emails. I originally worked with Kyle and Jason..but somehow a Paul had Kyle's cell phone. This went on for 10 days. Once I sent an email that included a copy of an email I was going to send to my attorney and a host of other agencies and file complaints they call and are going to be there in 15 minutes. They finally showed up but they lost bolts and screws to put anything back together and most of the furniture is damaged. Oh and the final call to them they said they were not Trans World Van Lines! DO NOT USE THEM!!

9. Very impressed with overall experience !

   I found this company while doing an internet search. I was stuck on deciding between two companies and went with Trans World. I got very lucky. We have all heard of the horror stories galore from other people about their moving experiences. Just look online..it's scary. I can confidently say that I had an absolutely positively GLOWING experience. When I called , I spoke to Kyle and he explained everything in detail to me. I was nervous as this was my first time using a moving company. I've only done UHAUL by myself and some buddies before. The day of the move came and everyone showed up on time. All items were carefully packaged in a reasonable amount of time and off they went. Later on, I was anticipating their arrival at the new place. Sure enough, they arrived when they said they would. All furniture and items were unpacked and placed exactly where I wanted them. All garbage was cleaned up and final payment was made. Everyone was so professional and kind. I had a STELLAR experience with Trans World and would recommend them to anyone who wants an experienced and professional moving company they can rely on. Keep up the outstanding work guys and thanks Kyle for giving me peace of mind.

10. Reliable and helpful company.

    I had to move out from California to North Carolina for a work opportunity at the NIEHS, and was recommended this company by a friend. I found their customer service extremely accessible, and their prices reasonable. I had no problems whatsoever with my transaction with them and will be using them again in the future should I have need of another moving job. Thank you so much to Trans World Van Lines!

11. SCAM Took property and money.

    Set up a move from NY to NC with Kyle Rogers. He promised rate was good and that we had nothing to worry about. ten days later Kyle and his 888-720-7374 have been unreachable on phone, text, and email. They took us for over $1500 and now a whole house worth of product is sitting somewhere in NJ. Police report is being filed, Company poses out of CO but Kyles cell number is a NJ cell. Insurance company who holds cargo policy also unreachable. Everything pointing to a scam theft ring. Quoted $3000 then upped to $4600 after truck was loaded.

12. This is a scam.

    When I first hired this company they were very friendly and helpful. But after they were paid and picked up my furniture, I haven't heard from them since. I am contacting law inforcement and I'm going to hunt down the company attached to the phone numbers they used to contact me personally. Please do not use this company! I thought it was a real company because I found it on this website.

13. Great company.

    They did a great job with the move. Very professional and friendly staff. Most competitive prices out there and they work within a confined time frame. Nothing broken.

14. Do Not Use These Movers.

    They charged us 3 TIMES more than the "locked in" estimate. THey took 12 HOURS to load their truck and charged us $800 in shipping materials. They are UNRESPONSIVE and their phone number often has an out of service message. THIS COMPANY IS CRIMINAL!

15. Please do Not Use This Co.

    Driver showed up a day late, walked around and wants to charge extra for packing and oversized items, where I specifically itemized on the inventory list that I need 2 tvs and few dishes. I refused and he got on the phone with supervisor and I got on the phone with Trans world and they told me to buy my own packing materials. What?? They told me that they will take care of everything when they got my deposit of $1575. And now they want to charge extra for labor?
    Suddenly driver left and I called the co and they accused me of letting the driver go. I called co numerous times and they said they will send out a driver and I waited till next day, no one show up. I called and they either hung up on me or send to voicemails. Very unprofessional and these people should be stopped treating their customers this way. After 3 days of waiting I have to change my flight to next week so I can look for another moving co. I was shocked to read all these negative comments that we all faced with TRANS WORLD. I have filed with BBB so that the next customer doesn't have to deal with this. I will continue to fight, post my experience thru social media that they don't practice this type of business.
