  1. Worst company in my experience

I had a worst experience with a canadian business ever. My family moved from Manitoba to Ontario and we used a moving company - Transnational Moving Systems, also known as Canadian Reliable Van Lines, also as Nexus Express Moving, also as Provincial Movers, and so on.

    1. During pick-up from our old location they just abandoned 3 items somewhere in our apartment building:

    https://youtu.be/huNiKRvPDsU

Those lost items have been picked up few days later after my multiple requests, but they were never delivered.

    2. I never got a response from my agent (Mathew Moretti) regarding the lost items mentioned above. And when I contacted a senior manager and asked him to talk to Mathew, few minutes later Mathew himself finally called me back and he was extremely rude!

    3. Too careless in regards to confidential information! On delivery to our new address I found all my credit cards details were publicly written on the paper sheets used by drivers/shippers/loaders/agents!

    4. Multiple damaged items; problems with their punctuality and attitude; and many more issues!

I have filled out a claim on lost items and sent to them on July. After my multiple emails I was told to wait 8 weeks. Today is November and I don't think they would ever respond.

  2. Worse service ever.

Starting from making a fool in changing the pickup date and the delivery date and then missplacing my stuffs and asking for extra money .. this bunch of guys sucks .. don't trust on them .

  3. Awful! Extortionist, slow, no prorating of storage costs.

Avoid if you can!! They tried to tell us we owed the full 3 months of storage despite already paying the first 2 months. Had to show them a copy of my credit card statement to get them to agree to just the last month (which had just been 10 days of storage) payment. Over $200 for that!! They are terrible about communicating anything. They don't get back to you when you ask questions.
    Please find another company.

  4. Worst Company Eveeer.

Just thinking about that brings me stress again I just say one thing : WORST COMPANY EVER AND PLEASE NEVER DEAL WITH THOSE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE AT ALL.. They charged me 50% more than concluded, lost some of my stuff AND got BY MISTAKE A BIG BOX ( with some important construction stuffs ) that don t belong to me here in Ottawa on sept 4. I called them several times to take care of this, with no feedback so far. I am about to get rid of this by the end of this month Sept 4. SO PLEASE IF YOU LOST A BIG BOX (a WARDDROBE BRAND BOX) fulled of different items.. let me know. I also put and ads + the picture on kijiji lost and found section..

  5. Transnational.

This company, we believe, was negligent in their service. They were very nice in the beginning but became dismissive the minute we started questioning things like delivery date and weight. My husband specifically asked them in the beginning, before booking, if our items would remain on the truck, knowing that the more handling, the more chance of things getting damaged. He was told "yes sir, everything stays right on the truck". Later we were told by both the admin staff and movers that our stuff was put in storage in both Halifax AND Toronto. Some of the boxes that arrived looked like they played soccer with them. They were completely ripped open, flattened, and had been retaped. Many have rips, tears, and holes in them. We have over $5500 in damages, including a large digital upright freezer which they charged us $150 handling fee to severely dent and ruin; marble end table were smashed; the back mirror of our china cabinet was smashed; a bed frame, a credenza, and a plant stand had legs ripped off - like twisted and the wood actually broke; and some furniture and antiques so severely gouged and broken that it's not useable or repairable. Their replacement insurance policy goes by weight, not value, meaning you've got more chance of getting a refund for damaged bags of cement than a missing bag of diamonds. We even got 3 items that AREN'T OURS!! Too bad they were also broken and damaged.
They said it would be 1 wk for delivery and 2 wks AT THE MOST. It was almost 4 wks. Then they said they got us mixed up with another Rob moving from NS to SK and our stuff was accidentally put in storage in Hfx. Then they gave us a 3 wk delivery date. Then he denied saying that (he was on speaker phone so 3 of us heard him) and said it would be yet another wk to deliver.
We were charged almost 50% more than the estimate for a 4 bedroom house DESPITE us selling 2 sets of furniture and only moving 3 bedrooms. We moved my sons entire bedrm contents to university AND my husband took a 8x10x8 container of our heaviest stuff (all his tools and tool chests) himself to try to save us money. Ha!
Then they promised that all beds and furniture that they disassembled to move, would be reassembled upon arrival. They actually refused to do it. And they dumped over 29 boxes in the garage because they were too lazy to put them in proper rooms (they promise room to room service). Don't believe their website when they say they will relieve the stress of the move. They CAUSE YOU THE STRESS OF THE MOVE!
The owner/chairman of the company (according to our online search) is Riza Yalcin, owns several moving companies (so do your research before hiring - you may THINK you're not getting Transnational but you are getting the same people). Check with the BBB (these guys at the time of this review, have a score of F) and the Canadian Movers Association. Movers with the CMA abide by several rules and codes and will not scam you.
Also check out Facebook for a new "Transnational support group" I am starting. Share your pictures of damages, your stories, and maybe find your missing items.

*Based on all the negative reviews, we have forwarded our paperwork and pictures to our lawyer, and checking with him about a law suit and possibly a class action law suit.

  6. Move from Bridgewater NS to Leroy Sk.

Absolutely the worst possible experience you could ever ask for. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!
They lied constantly about delivery dates and handling of our 4 bed room home. Thousands of dollars in damage and some irreplaceable items. They over charged and fairly sure they lied about the weights. Extra charges that are not substantiated.
To make it even more fun they showed up 14 days late then called a few hrs before they showed up to say they were delivering. When they found out my wife was by herself they dumped all the stuff every mostly in the garage. Did not set up any furniture as promised and refused to saying they were far to busy with other customers who needed their stuff. So 12000.00 later and a crying wife with a bad hip and limited mobility left there in this mess we get to pay more for outside help.

  7. Worst Moving Experience Ever.

This company is terrible! They lied to me about the weight of my truck and made me pay thousands of dollars more than I needed to. The driver was extremely abusive on the phone and swore at me several times. The office staff were terrible and threatened to cancel our move if we didn't pay them right away. By the time my load arrived, there were several damages that were never paid for or reimbursed to me. They didn't finish unpacking my boxes despite me paying over $2000 for that service and refused to complete the work. I would not recommend this company to anyone moving as it is a HUGE risk and absolutely the WORST service you can ever get not to mention that once you pay them, they may not even finish doing the job you are contracted for.

  8. Worst moving company ever! Scam artists.

These people are scam artists. My furniture was destroyed, I didn't receive half of my living room and the guy I spoke with was verbally abusive to me and never followed up again. Worst experience I have ever had in my life.

  9. Cross Canada Move.

We recently made a move from Ontario to Alberta and this company was awesome. They picked up and packed and wrapped our items on time and were very friendly and professional. The delivery, although delayed (through no fault of Transnational I might add) was on time the the fellows at the receiving end were wonderful. They placed packing blankets on the floor to prevent any damage and put our items wherever we requested them to do so. They were friendly, courteous and extremely efficient. Would I use this company again? Absolutely. Would I recommend them to others planning a move, yes without hesitation. Thank you Michael and the rest of the crew involved in our move.

    David & Jeanette.

  10. Pathetic.

Picked up my stuff from Halifax Nova Scotia on the 22nd of July and said it would be to Saskatchewan by the 5th of August at the latest, called and they changed it to the 10th, now they are saying the 17th and are denying ever saying any of the other dates, okay? It’s fine if it takes a while to get here but the fact that this Micheal guy calls me stupid and pathetic and hung up in my ear is just unacceptable. I never write reviews but this moving company is AWFUL! Never choose this company! I will be lucky if I even get all my stuff which is everything I [EDIT] own. These people shouldn’t even be running a business their the biggest [EDIT] I ever encountered in my whole life! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY! They will act like they care at first but then they turn into monsters . [EDIT] you transnational moving.

  11. Boxes lost, enquiries neglected, calls not returned.

I wanted to write a good review. Initial contact and the moving guys on both ends were great. 4 boxes did not appear with the rest of the items. I called and e-mailed with no reply. Called and e-mailed again, sent photos, never much point in calling though because the mailbox is full and never emptied. Finally called the first contact person who was actually helpful back at the start. Bottom line, "we can't find your boxes but we'll try".. of course, no call back. I understand that stuff gets dusty, even broken, and misplaced. But they're movers. It's not good enough to say "The boxes went to the wrong address and the recipients didn't call it in. We have no other way of tracking your things." Not good enough to put their hands in their pockets and never follow up. Their system needs more checks and balances. And Complete Satisfaction could be deleted from the bottom of the invoice.

  12. Fulfillment of agreed service very poor.

Problems at both ends. They left items unattended and did not re-assemble dismantled items at the delivery end as mentioned when we booked. Arrived late and very unprofessional employees. Also found some of our items damaged. Do not recommend this company.

  13. Beware, they lowball and hike up the price without justification.

I was trying to get my son's furniture brought from Orlando back home to London and I was asking around for quotes to ensure I got the best deal while getting the best service at that price. That’s when I stumbled across this company. Michael got in contact with me, who supposedly has 20 years of experience, and once provided with a list of everything that was going to be on the moving truck, he gave me the estimate of $1940. It consisted of 36 boxes which were numbered and had a corresponding list of everything in those boxes because I knew going though customs might be an issue. There was also a couch, 2 beds, 2 night tables, tv, tv stand, desk, and, I made sure to send this list to Michael and asked him again this time letting him know that I did not want to be low balled because there were a couple places bidding on my business. Again he reassured me that 1940 was the quote and not to worry. Within this quote it was outlined that this would cover the door-to-door and room-to-room service s well as free protective padding and wrapping. About a month later on move in day, I received the bill from the company saying that the new price was $5091.79. now considering this was over 3000 the original quote given to me I was understandably a bit hesitant and had a couple questions. I knew that with it being a quote it was subject to change but considering when I called to ask why the price was so high they told me Michael had 20 years sales experience and that I just had to pay the new price or they wouldn’t deliver the furniture. I’m just confused as to why he told me time and time again that the quote was accurate. I was not expecting a $3000 increase. Within the bill it says there was a charge for packing for $535, when asked about it they let us know that they gave us two medium sized boxes as well as the taping for the mattresses. In their quote they told us that the protective padding and wrapping was included so that means that they’ve charged us $535 for the two boxes, which cost about $3 per box at home depot. When they brought the furniture to the drop off destination, they did not do the room-to-room service like they said they would and just dumped everything into the living room. These quotes get produced by weight, they tell you that the first 1000lbs is $900 and after that the charge is $0.6 per pound. In the quote he had estimated about 2000lbs even while given the list of everything that would be in the truck. Within the bill they charged us for 5180lbs which just does not make sense. If it was going to be that heavy the original quote should’ve reflected that. Even then the truck was no way that heavy. For comparison a jeep wrangler is about 4100lbs they’re trying to say that a couch, 2 beds, 2 night tables, tv, tv stand, and desk as well as 30 boxes with the heaviest box being around 20lbs that contained books, this load was apparently heavier than a jeep. When I called to discuss this new price I spoke with Brenda who was very professional and because she was not 100% sure what to do she referred me to Steve who was the manager. Now Steve or should I say “Steveo” was condescending and rude from the very beginning. Through out the phone call he proceeded to tell me to f** off and go to h*ll while calling me a liar and refusing to accept the physical evidence I had of the interactions and original quote. Whether they quoted me wrong or weighed it incorrectly the increase of $3000 is unacceptable and I will be pursuing them in the court of law. Do not do business with them.

  14. Efficient move.

We were referred by a friend of ours to use this company for our big move and everything went smoothly. Thank you to this company for making our big move easy.

  15. Over all it was a good move.

I was very satisfied with my move. The movers were very nice and helpful. I just wanted to thank all the workers for their time. Good luck.
