  2. Never Again.

In my recent experience White Glove was not the Carrier, They hired a carrier, Unique Van Lines, to do the actual move.
Lets just say Unique Van lines is very difficult to deal with and has loads of bad reviews.
Makes me wonder how White Glove Vetted the carrier.
My biggest complaint, I hired White Glove to handle my move, They in turn hire a 3rd party. As soon as White Glove collected their Fee they refused further requests for aid regarding the carrier THEY HIRED. Leaving me to handle to problems caused by the company WHITE GLOVE HIRED.
I highly recommend to not use them, Hire the Carrier directly yourself.

  3. Worst Moving Company of My Life.

I am STILL WAITING for my refund for luggage that took 2 months to arrive and a lost bag with $1000+ of possessions inside. Do not use this moving company. I also have several of someone else’s belongings. If you are missing several wooden crates please respond and I will try to get them back to you. Similarly, if you were delivered a green rolling suitcase filled with women’s shoes by White Glove, please respond - those are mine! The employees were rude, degrading, and cursed repeatedly at me. If I do not hear back from them within the month I will be filing a suit against them.

  4. Stop Call a Lawyer First.

Call a lawyer before signing anything with White glove!! They are an unprofessional, inaccurate, and untruthful organization. Anything from their estimates and coordination between themselves and third party vendors was the most disorganized I have ever experienced, seen or heard. They are good at taking your money but assume no pecuniary liability for blatant delays or seemingly holding hostage in delivery of your goods. Additionally they are unavailable the majority of the time to answer questions or hear and remedy concerns. All of their calls get transferred to cell phones and miraculously none of their voice mailboxes are not set-up. I would never recommend this business to anyone that wants a professional service. Absolutely horrible. Especially if you are a veteran stay away!

  5. You get what you pay for!

Completely clueless. This company is basically a middle-man for actual moving companies who know what they're doing.

I spoke to 5 different people and got different information from each. I actually had to reschedule a call because one of the CSRs had to take a personal phone call from their tax broker. I'm actually still waiting on a call from someone from two weeks ago in regards to when the truck will be arriving. (They obviously arrived, but I just thought that was hilarious that they said "Let me find out what's going on!" and completely ghosted.)

They will say that your estimate is weight based, which is totally false. Instead, you'll end up paying about $750-$1,000 more than your quote, making their "services" even way more overpriced.

They will also say that a cross-country move takes "about two weeks". It's been three and we still don't have our things.

Basically, stay away from these clowns. Nothing I can do about my situation besides learn from it.

Whatever, though. They have my money. Hope they enjoy it.

  6. Never use White Glove Vanlines!

Horrible experience! Please never use these movers. I had an interstate move from PA to MA and also needed items to be packed. While the sales rep was professional and the quote was reasonable, the movers arrived at 11pm while their arrival window was from 4-8pm. I had to stay an additional night and take the plane to MA the next day. They did a very poor job with packaging my items. I have lost and damaged items and Judy the manager does not do anything about it. I recently filed a BBB complaint.

  7. Scammers not be trusted.

I found these people because I got a bunch of quotes for a long distance move and they gave me the best quote. I should have realized it was too good to be true. They farmed me out to another company called Unique Van Lines who totally ripped me off, damaging my furniture and even losing one of my boxes. I felt scammed. These people are totally untrustworthy.

  8. Increase in weight estimaqte.

My original estimate in overall weight was accurate When it came time for my move, Brian, said my overall weight was not correct because of the size of my my boxes was large and not medium and that a new estimate was given. This increased my overall weight from 7528 lbs. to 9528 lbs. and my cost increased $1632. I had little choice because my pick up date was two days away, Saturday, and closing on my sold house,Monday, was also only a few days away. This was a blatant increase in my overall cost that left me with no alternative than to accept the new estimate. When the truck was weighed it came to 7240 Lbs, inline with the original estimate and way under the new charges. This was an obvious cheat on the part of White Glove Vanlines and all attempts I made to contact them were unanswered. DON NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

  9. Do Not Do it!!

Well, where do I start. I was moving from Florida to Boston. Pick up was fine. The movers did a great job of packing. They were friendly and efficient. My items were moved on January 12th. Upon leaving, the driver stated that our items would be delivered on the 16th. I was told by the company that it would be on the 17th. We were excited that it would be a day early. Of course, we were aware that there is normally a day give either way. So, we changed our flight and hotel reservations accordingly. So, the 16th came. We made a call. We were informed that the 16th was not a guarantee and they would call the driver. No problem. They called the driver on the 16th, the 17th, the 18th and 19th. Finally Friday evening after repeated calls from me and my family, we received a call. The driver will be at our home between Friday, he 19th and Sunday the 21st. No explanation, no apology for the inconvenience. Nothing. This is of course after the purchase of blow up mattress, a TV, food, clothes, etc. We had packed up clothes, giving ourselves a week for the move as promised. So, we get a call on Sunday stating that the driver would be here Monday, the 22nd. We have a 5 bedroom house. 2 people arrive. We have a lot of furniture and 2 people arrive. After hours of loading off the truck and the price increasing, once again, we can finally begin unpacking. We find that we have a bookcase missing and a table. We have a desk, a table and a TV stand broken. We see that items were obviously thrown in the house. Boxes marked fragile tossed on the side, pictures under boxes, etc. Finally after a week of unpacking, we send the company an email. We hadn't sent the email earlier because we were just too upset. My daughter is still crying because her doll house is nowhere to be found. We sent the email and guess what we are still waiting. We were told be another company when looking, not to use this company. They stated they have a reputation and we would not be happy. I, of course, went for the cheapest price. I should have listened!!

  10. Interstate move from New York to South Carolina.

What ever you do, don't use this company they are total scammers. They are not movers they only set up the move and then send another bunch of scammers to rip you off. I was very specific with them in terms of what I wanted moved including dimensions of all furniture and boxes. They put the inventory into a software program which calculated the weight and subsequently the cost. They gave me what sounded like a reasonable price. When the actual movers got here, late on a Saturday night, after a brief look at my inventory the driver started right out saying it was going to cost me at least $1,000 more because "they (White Glove) don't see what I see". He gave a quote of over 3000 lbs. more than White Glove had estimated it. I was essentially shaken down for the increase in money because I had to get the stuff moved and couldn't wait any longer. At the time I decided I would contest it later. The moving company Capital One Van Lines appears to be bogus and while they did get my things to their destination after another 15 days I got no assistance from White Glove to resolve this. Capital One was in the Fed DOT registry when I first looked them up but now have vanished from that registry. I have filed complaints with the Florida State attorney Generals' Office and The DOT. There were many other issues in between but I don't want to write all day ! Please beware and don't have anything to do with this company.

  11. Worst moving company.

This company do not own any of the trucks. They are the middle man. Absolutely no reason to hire them. They are dishonest from the beginning about the delivery time frame, charge model and insurance. The delivery pick up was late by 4 days, delivery took 30 days, seriously 30 days, not mentioning the damaged coffee tables. This company should not stay in business.

  12. Horrible Customer Service.

I am not someone who normally writes poor reviews, however in this case I am hoping this thorough review will prevent other's from going through the same experience as I did with this company. They do make it clear that they will be outsourcing their movers which is completely fine. However, listed on their website word for word is "Checking the mover’s safety record, complaint history and reputation with industry watchdogs such as the Better Business Bureau and a wide variety of moving review websites" when deciding which companies they hire to move their customer's things. However, the company they hired for my move, Integrated Moving Solutions Inc., is not even an accredited company with the Better Business Bureau and only has two negative reviews.

After my experience with them, it is not surprise. These movers showed up to my move at 11:15PM after my scheduled timeframe was 1:00-7:00PM. They did not leave my apartment until 1:30AM - I did not even meet the minimum requirements in weight because I had such few things to move. After being charged an extra $75 due to being at the end of the hallway (this is stated in the contract so I was fine with the charge) the mover asked me if I could pay this in cash to help with their "gas money" (even though there is an upcharge in your price to help cover gas/tolls/etc.). I told the mover I was uncomfortable with this but would include it in my check, the mover was visibly annoyed by this. Around 1:00AM, one of the movers brought their soup up to my apartment to cook in my apartment. After I told him he cannot put his Styrofoam soup cup in my microwave for safety reasons, he was asking me to use my bowl and pans. I told him I was not comfortable with him cooking in my kitchen and that I just wanted to sign the paper work and have them leave. The mover was incredibly rude to me and walked out of my apartment on the phone referring to me as a "b**". Last but not least, the mover mis-calculated my grand total and was very rude to me when I corrected him. He was then visibly annoyed when I took my time to read through the documents after he messed up. The overall experience was incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional! These are the types of movers White Glove Vanlines will hire.

My biggest issue was when I called White Glove Van Lines with my complaint about my pick--up, the customer service representative Judy, showed zero empathy or concern about how the pick-up was handled. She said she would call the moving company and speak with their manager however, when I finally called Integrated Moving Solutions myself, they had no record of my complaint. Judy had not even provided them with my updated delivery address! Additionally, there were 5 instances when she was supposed to call me back and just never did. It got to the point where I just went directly to the moving company because she was not following through on anything she said she was going to do. I understand that White Glove Vanlines outsources the actual move, however they should show some more responsibility with the companies they decide to do business with. There were several times where I asked to speak with a manager and Judy refused to escalate the call and a manager never called me. Additionally, I e-mailed the salesman who I originally spoke to about my disappointment in how the pick-up went and he did not even bother to e-mail me back.

The tagline next to White Glove Vanlines reads "We care about your move." I can honestly say I've never worked with a company whom I felt cared less about me as a customer. My experience was so uncomfortable in so many aspects and White Glove Vanlines did not even file a complaint on my behalf. I am incredibly disappointed in my experience with them to the point that I want to proactively steer people away from using them. The great price is not worth the horrible customer service you will experience.

  13. Worst Customer Service ever seen!!

I would not given any stars.. !! When initially I got my quote, I was told some amount and later when they came to pick my items I was charged $500 more saying that I have more stuffs to pick up, even though I declared everything. I was told my stuffs will be delivered by 7 days max. But, when I called CS, they are saying that my stuffs will be delivered in 21 days. This is not a good company and don't trust this guys. They are very rude and not responsible. They are not worth it and money focused. Please go with someother company. Worst Worst Worst!!

  14. Do Not Use!!

White Glove Van lines sources out all moves and the companies they use try and do a shake down on you once they arrive.I concur with everyone negative reviews as I experienced it 1st hand.
When you go to lodge a complaint they hee and haw making you the perpetrator. Also the company they had do my move does not have secure CC billing.. Believe me White Glove is more like Dirty Gloves. The affiliate Unique VAN LINES is the culprit.
I call myself checking their reviews ahead of time, guess I should of gone to more than one site..

  15. Do not use this company!

Do not use this company! This is a third party company that hires outside moving companies and has no moving trucks as depicted on their website. When you speak to the sales person, there pitch is basically that White Glove will be providing top of the line moving services making you feel secure. They tell you to make your payments in installments. When the movers come to pick-up your belongings, this is when you actually find out they’re a different company once all your belongings are loaded; the other moving company gives you another document and they ask you to give the next installment in cash. White Glove is no longer your moving company nor responsible for your belongings. They claim that you get insured for 1000 dollars per cubic square feet during the sales pitch but in another breath they tell you when something goes wrong they are not responsible. The representatives that assisted me at White Glove are Judy and Brian. Brian is the quality insurance person. They are both useless because technically as they both stated they are not responsible and read my contract.
I can provide a laundry list of this horrible move:
-The third party (Always Affordable Moving and Storage) movers took the bed apart and left without the screws to the bed and removed the glass from the coffee table and left the glass behind (that was not caught until one -two days later by my husband) . I forgot about the Armour as well. I had to argue with the dispatcher and I mean he was extremely rude and disrespectful about coming back and getting the items left behind.
    - The third party company will explain to you that they truly have nothing to do with White Glove and the information White Glove provided to me was false. I was supposed to get my belongings on Nov 1, 2017 base on the sales rep. The third party company told me 3-10 business days or longer.
    - The third party company and White Glove totally ignored my request to have my belongings at my house before I had to leave for my business trip that began on Nov. 9th. So, you know what happened, they scheduled the move on the morning I had to leave for the business trip. Another argument that went as far as the third party dispatcher cursing and yelling at me and forcing me to pay a storage fee when I had already spoke and warned everyone a week before.
    - After my business trip, I called again asking when my belongings were going to arrive. Another run around and no clear answers because, Judy and Brian basically said, they are not in charge and I am at the mercy of the third party company.

Basically, I paid White Glove 400 hundred dollars for sending me to a third party company that they are not affiliated with. I gave the third party company 489 dollars in cash during pick-up and I have to give them more if they deliver my belongings.

Their company is called White Glove Van lines meaning top notch service and they do not do anything for you but take your money, sell you to the highest bidder, ignore your requests and then tell you they are not responsible and read your contract. I started off with them pleasantly and now I just can not take it any more. Next, step is to call the police.

I am reporting White Glove Van lines to the BBB and moving transportation department.
