Very Helpfull.
Well, it almost seems redundant to post a review of All Over The State, but I want to add my voice to the chorus of incredibly satisfied customers. All Over The State sent 3 wonderful guys to pack my huge home , and then the same wonderful guys came the next day to move me across the state. And they stayed wonderful -- cheerful, friendly and efficient -- for 10 hours. Nothing fazed them, and they barely got crabby even after the umpteenth trip. It was definitely a difficult move, but they handled it with humor, grace and utmost professionalism. The owner, Kevin, even showed up in the middle of the move to say hi and make sure things were going OK! Plus, they moved my baby grand piano without a scratch (last movers damaged it and just said "oh well"). Hopefully I won't be moving anywhere else anytime soon -- but if I (or anyone else I know) need a moving company, I can't imagine calling anyone else.

1000% Less Stress.
I registered in mymovingreviews specifically to write a review for these guys -- they are fantastic. Arrived on time and were hauling out boxes three-at-a-time before I had even finished signing the paperwork. The guys gave new meaning to the word "hustle" AND were professional, respectful of our stuff, and friendly to boot. They managed our treacherous front stairs without complaint and volunteered to move our furniture around within the new place once it was unloaded. The whole experience was 1000% less stressful than previous moves, where despite paying an arm and a leg I always had to be on guard for things not being trashed and bracing for a surly response to any "special" request.
On top of all that, All Over The State move came in substantially under the estimate that Kevin had given me -- sharp contrast to movers I've used in the past who always seem to move at a snail's pace and then come in way over budget. Also, Kevin gave us a "will not exceed" price in his estimate, which gave us some peace of mind in advance that it wasn't going to spiral into a $5000 moving extravaganza (which recently happened to a friend - no joke).

On Time and On Budget.
Hiring All Over The State made moving a painless experience - On time and On budget. The 4 man crew showed up on time and worked tirelessly. Sean special wrapped our oversize artwork. Seamus showed up to check in and lent a hand by personally wrapping all our stemware ( there is a lot of it). Mike handled the entire kitchen by himself. Dave and Mark focused on our books and furniture; they even wrapped the legs of my chairs and when I asked, they took extra special care of my designer sofa (yeah, I know, costly, but it is pretty terrific). They handled it all on time and ensured that everything made it into the truck just as it started to pour rain. We had to pick up one of the wardrobe boxes at their storage facility and it wasn't a problem. I'd hire them again and will update their review when our stuff is delivered from storage in a few months. Thanks again guys!

Thanks, Job Well Done..My brother recently passed away and we had to go to his home in to collect his belongings and put them in storage for the time being. I found All Over The State online and I noticed the high ratings for them so I decided to take a chance and hire them.
They were able schedule the move for Thursday, with only two days notice. It was a very somber day for us and we dreaded that day, however, Mark and Paul made the move so fast and easy.
They brought with them everything we could possibly need including those wardrobe boxes with the built-in hanger rods. I never would have thought of that. They also brought plenty of tape and extra boxes that we needed.
What I especially liked about Mark and Paul was their wonderful sense of humor. They made us laugh at a time when we really needed it and we were grateful for that.
The All Over The State Movers are efficient; they are honest; they are hardworking; and they are downright Gentlemen! And their prices are reasonable too. I wouldn't hesitate to call on them again or to recommend them to my friends or anyone else for that matter.

Reliable And Fast.
We have tons of books, heavy furniture and my husband has a bad back. Not a good combination. Add to that the fact that we were moving from a 2 floor condo (with all the books on floor #2) to an apartment on the 3rd floor.
So finally we broke down and hired movers. We had heard and read all sorts of horror stories so we were a little scared of what we would get into.
After reading reviews we hired All Over The State. Mark and Mike and Mark showed up, Irish accent and all (love it!) and we were very impressed. They loaded up everything in record time, and delivered it on the scheduled date and unloaded it as fast.
They were funny, very courteous, and easy going.
If we ever move again (not anytime soon PLEASE) we will SURELY call them again.
Dynamite Movers.
These guys were dynamite. Kevin's got great advice for the novice and expert mover that will save you $ before they even show up at your door. They called when they were on their way (and were happily a couple of minutes late, which we needed) and were super fast when they were on the job. They were done about an hour before they predicted..we moved all of the odd-sized and fragile things ourselves so All Sate only had to move boxes and furniture. All this and they were super funny to boot, which helps take the stress out of moving. Their hourly rate may be higher than some companies, but they more than made up for it in speed and professionalism..it'd be easy to spend more money on a slower crew with a lower hourly rate. And besides, you work hard for your things..why trust your stuff to anyone but the best? I can't recommend them enough.
Available On Short Notice.
We did extensive searching online before narrowing down our choices to 3 companies. We made a mistake and waited until we had only 6 days before our move before asking the 3 companies for quotes. All Over the State was the only one available on short notice and their quote was about half of what we anticipated.
They arrived 30 minutes early and were a friendly 3 man team. They worked hard from the start and finished loading the truck in record time. when they arrived at our new location 3 day later and unloaded they were gracious when I gave them mis-information on where certain boxes were supposed to go. They moved them from the first room to another with smiles on their faces without any problem. They loaded in four hours what they had anticipated prior was 7-8 hours. Just to say that If we were to move again, heaven forbid, we would definitely choose All Over The State.
Best Moving Experience Ever.
I can't say enough about these guys. They are the best moving experience we've had. From my first contact with All Over The State, they were fast, friendly and fun.
Our lucky friends get to travel around the world for six months. In an effort to save some money and test out the East Bay, we decided to move into their furnished house while they are gone. This means that everything we owned had to go to storage. I was fretting about where to store all of our belongings, and quotes for separate moving and storage places were getting pricey.
I found All Over The State online and gave them a call. Kevin stopped by for a free estimate and made the process sound like a breeze. I immediately relaxed. I felt happy to have my movers/storage taken care of all at once. Kevin came by the next day with moving supplies galore.
On moving day, four movers arrived on time and were cheerful and personable. One of my cats went missing, and they helped me look for him. Imagine four gruff men feeling genuinely concerned about a little kitty. It was sweet.
They moved things quickly and safely, often whistling and laughing. As one mover was carrying a framed world map, he was belting out at the top of his lungs, "I've got the whole world in my hands!". Too funny.
Upon our arrival to our new place, they dropped off the few possessions we were taking with us, then left and moved all of our stuff into their secure storage center without me having to be there. I don't know about you, but for me, time is of the essence, and it was a huge perk to have that storage part taken care of. Around 7:30pm that evening, All Over The State called me and alerted me that I left my two laptops in the van. Did I want them? Yes.. Now that is customer service.
All Over The State made moving day super easy. I won't use another moving service in the Area.
All Possible With This Great Company.
In the past moving was something that I had no problem with doing. At a point in my life I did 6 Continental moves in the span of 5 years - I didn't think anything of it. The difference 15 years can make!!
The only way this move even happened was becuase of the guys at All Over The State.
We were not packed, of course. . . by saying that we were not packed is much more than that. The guys packed, and loaded and brought everything over to the new place.
We also had some really heavy pieces of furniture - the guys took the items apart and took it to the new house and it all looked easy. . .
If I ever move again (and that is a real "if") I know who to call!
All True Pros.
I agree: Clearly the word is out about this superstar team! But they made my move 2 weeks ago SO pleasant that I still HAVE to provide a quick, if redundant, chiming-in.. 5 stars for sure.. Bob, Kevin K, Paddy and Paul #2 absolutely knocked it out of the park in moving my PACKED 2 BR, 2BA house full of stuff into a 45-foot-long storage space. They were all true professionals, there was absolutely no slack in the team, and they safely packed and transported quite a few highly valuable (and occasionally HEAVY) items for me. Truly a no-brainer to go with these guys.

As Advertised.
Okay these guys truly do live up to their "pre-sell" - the crew of Bob, Jamie and ? moved my "90 year old" parents last month. They treated their precious furniture and collectibles with great care, wrapping/padding everything that needed it. They showed up early (yeap early) and their final cost was LESS EXPENSIVE BY $150 than their original estimate - believe me - I would recommend All Over The State unequivacably! They're honorable, proficient, professionals.
Well Ran Organization.
My wife and I have moved 9 times in the last 15 years. It's gotten to the point where we no longer put pictures up on the walls or even unpack some of our boxes because we know we'll be moving again in another year or two. We've dealt with lots of different moving companies, but we've never worked with a moving company as consistently awesome as All Over The State.
We've used All Over The State for our last 2 moves, and we'll be using them again if/when we next move. Kevin is fair and honest, and helped advise us on how to make our move as cheap and easy as possible. The first time we moved with All Over, they actually stored our stuff for a few months while we had an extended trip to visit family. During that move they broke a glass tabletop while moving it out of storage, and rather than leaving it as something for us to discover after unwrapping everything, Kevin was upfront and told us about it proactively, and even went so far as to replace the entire tabletop with a custom-cut new one, without giving us any hassles.
Every mover we've worked with from All Over The State has been a hard worker, with a courteous, positive attitude. This is truly a well-run organization with a quality team of employees.
Service Was Excellent.
I needed to book a mover for a local move that was available on the last Saturday of the month with short notice (under a week). Not an easy task, but All Over The State was able to squeeze my move in as the first of the day (between 8-9am).
The guys called ahead about 10 minutes prior to showing up, were punctual, friendly, efficient and careful with my belongings. I only had 1 bedroom's worth of items, but I was impressed that it took the 3 guys 2hrs to arrive, load the truck and drive and unload into the new apartment, plus the standard additional travel time.
The one issue was an ikea dresser that I had forgotten to unscrew the leash from the dresser to the back of the wall, when they went to move the dresser it removed a large chunk of drywall that I had to patch and repair. I consider this not to be their fault, but just a word of caution, before these guys show up make sure everything is ready to move, because that's what they're there to do!
I received a 5% discount for paying in cash. I would and have recommended All Over The State for anyone looking to move within Texas, the price is very competitive and the service was excellent!
So Freaking Awesome.
I love these guys. So much so that I am about to use them for the third time.
They are punctual, friendly, funny, and very fast. And they do this insane thing where they carry like a million stacked boxes on their backs that defies all sense of logic or physics. Additionally, once I used them to pack for me due to time constraints and they had my entire studio apt packed in about 15 minutes where if had had done it, it would have taken days and I probably would have broken everything I own. Based on the fact I do move more than the average person, I'm glad to know they're around and looking forward to using them again! Totally takes the stress out of moving. EDIT: Settling in the day after a move from the SF to a beach house . Yet again they were SO. FREAKING. AWESOME. Not only were they fast as lightning, they were funny as all hell, helped me figure out where I should put [EDIT] in my bedroom, put the bed skirt on for me, and best of all, remembered me from the 18 thousand other times I've moved. I will never use another moving company again. EVER! And Chris, you're especially awesome. Cheers to All Over The State for being great at what they do and actually caring. It's pretty effing awesome.

These guys were completely awesome!
Our situation : We moved from 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with full 2 car garage to a 2 bedroom apartment. Due to some financing snafus with selling our house, we had 6 days to get out. I emailed them at 5am on Friday morning with a vague list of stuff to move and had an estimate by 8:30am. Given that I had not been terribly detailed in the estimate I was not going to be surprised if the actual cost was higher -- they came in $200 under budget. The 3 very polite, cheerful guys showed up promptly, took a brief tour of the house and got straight to work. Some of the stuff that we had not time to pack up properly -- they handled it with ease. I barely had the keys to the new place in my hand when they arrived with the furniture. Unloading was just a quick (despite them getting stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes which they took completely in stride).
We will definitely be calling them again in a couple of years.
