Very Smooth Process.
Our move was from Houston to San Antonio. We also had to move a refrigerator from San Antonio to Houston, and that was no problem - they showed up in San Antonio first to get the refrigerator, then loaded up in Houston and came back to San Antonio to unload.
The whole process went very smoothly, from booking to the day of moving. They showed up a little early and they worked very hard and took less time than estimated. Their quote was more than some of our other quotes, but since they finished faster than expected I think things came out about the same.
We did not pack very efficiently, e.g. not using standard size boxes, and we did not complete packing by the time they got there. No problem - they cheerfully helped us pack some remaining things and accommodated all our odd-sized stuff.
They did scratch a wall getting the refrigerator out, but they were very up front about it and the damage was minor. We did also find a couple belongings had been damaged in the move, but it was mostly on the level you should expect with any move. I think they took reasonable care and I give them high marks for honesty.
The crew was extremely courteous and accommodating. We would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them.
Very Easy Experiance.
To begin with, this was a very easy move.
The movers got a dedicated freight at the first location and the second location was on the first floor. I've moved a lot and have used movers almost every single time, so I think I have a fair view of moving pricing. I requested quotes from three moving companies and their quote was exactly what I had in my mind as fair. The movers were careful to point out any pre-existing damage to my belongings before moving it out of my apartment, which I thought was really professional. They arrived early, which made me happy because I wanted the move to be done ASAP. They were really friendly. They didn't exhibit any signs of stress or anger or anxiety.
My advice is trust the quote, if you give them an accurate inventory list. If you are fully packed and ready to go when they arrive, you will pay what you expect to pay or less. If you aren't fully packed, then you will only make them work longer and pay more. Great movers. Very easy experience.
Good Gut Instinct.
I called All Over The State & The Professionals when I was looking for movers because they were pretty much tied for highest ratings. I ended up going with All Over The State for availability reasons and I was not disappointed! I got team leader Ricky & his guys Cruz & Luis, can't recommend them enough. They got the job done so much faster than I thought they might! Especially since I was being charged by the hour, I was worried they might take their time or something but these guys were like LIGHTNING. I was worried about my treadmill being a problem because it's so heavy and awkward but they moved it like it was nothing. They were so conscious of wrapping everything carefully so no damage was done to any of my belongings and they were very careful to put everything where we wanted it in the new place. They even had us do a quick walk through at the end to see if we wanted anything moved around (if we changed our minds on where we wanted stuff).
These guys were GREAT. If they're an indication of the rest of this company, you can't go wrong hiring them.
Pleasantly Surprised.
All Over The State was great, way better than the last experience I had with a large moving company. With this move, I moved from a small two bedroom first floor unit to a house in another state. Move was scheduled for 8:00 am and movers showed up at 7:30 and were ready to get started at 7:45. I was pleasantly surprised, although it meant my husband and I had to hurry up and finish getting organzed, but not fault of All Over the State! We had a three man team and they were really efficient. Like others have said, they wrapped every single item in plastic wrap. There was no way our belongings were getting damaged. We had a few pieces of furniture that needed disassembled and they were able to do that quickly, with minimal issues. I couldn't be happier.

Second Great Move.
This was our second time using All Over The State and we were just as happy as the first time! They recently handled two separate moves (one from a high rise apartment and one from a self storage unit) into our new house and both experiences were EXCELLENT. The crew leader managed the three-man teams extremely well. While both times they looked at our stuff and said it seemed like a lot more than the estimate, they were nonetheless able to move it within the originally estimated time frame. They hustled, were careful with our belongings and our home, and made it as smooth as could be expected. They were professional in dress and demeanor. We will use them for our future moves and already recommend them to all our friends!
(Note: They do accept credit cards but only for moves above a certain amount. This is inconvenient since you never know exactly how long a move will take and what your total cost will be -- plus tip, these guys earn them -- so just make sure you have the cash.).
Fantastic Great Movers.
I'm an inexperienced mover, so I didn't really know what to expect using a moving company and was a little nervous about the process.
All Over The State was amazing! Not only were they kind and courteous on the phone before my move, they answered all my questions so I was ready to go on the big day. The crew was great--they called to let me know they were arriving, professional the whole time, and took great care of my stuff. Ricky, Cruz, and Renee made sure I was happy every step of the way! Best of all they arrived on time, finished early, and final charge came in less than quoted.
All Over The State is fantastic! I will most definitely use them again!!
Dont use this company.
We had no choice but accept this company because Alliance Moving Services missed our pickup date. We weren't even notified about this company until we received a new estimate via email. We got subcontracted. They demanded more money from us then the original agreement with Alliance. We had a hassle about credit card payment but that was resolved. We were told to ask the driver when it would be delivered. We asked the driver and he said when do you want it. We said on the first of June. We called the office on the first and they said "I did check on your delivery but at this time I do not have any concrete information. As soon as I do I will let you know". Later we found out the load was promptly put in storage. "Tuesday, 06/02/2015; As per our conversation this morning, I am following up with information I just received. It looks like you will be loaded up on Friday (June 3) and when your driver is 24 hours always he will call and let you know what time he will arrive." Apparently they don't know people work and have to schedule time off. June 8, The office said that the truck has been in transit for 3 days. Has one stop before us. Should hear from driver on the 8th or the 9th. Then we were told we needed cash for the balance before they can unload. We were missing a floor lamp. Also we had to pay extra because the distance from the truck to the loading dock was more than 75 feet. It was 103 feet.
Awesome Move.
Like many of the other recent reviews of All Over The State, my experience falls right in line.
First of all, booking them was very easy and their main operations made sure to inform you of all of the charges upfront so there wouldn't be any surprises. They also helped with recommendations on the best ways to prepare for the movers arrival, and what would help make for a more efficient move. On the day of the move, they called me in the morning to give an update on the exact time they would arrive. I had a noon start scheduled, and they were actually able to start 45 minutes early which was awesome. Once they did arrive, I had a 3-man crew for a 2 bed/bath on the third floor. They were fast, efficient and very professional. They also were super careful with every piece they moved. At my new residence while they moved in each piece, they constantly asked about where the best places for each box or furniture would be to minimize the unpacking/moving things around after the fact. Also, they offered help to other things around the apartment while they were moving in.
Bottom line is this company went above and beyond to ensure I had the best, least stressful move experience. The team was great, fast/efficient and professional. Definitely go with All Over The State when considering movers, they did a hell of a job.
Better Experience Movers.
I've moved several times over the years and never have I had a better experience with movers than with All Over The State!!
When booking the move the customer service person was so nice and made sure every little detail was reviewed with me.
The day of crew (Richard, Cruz and Rence I believe) was awesome!! They were beyond polite and made a point to introduce themselves to all my family that was at my house.
I was amazed by how quick they were, but were still super careful with all of our stuff. The final cost came in well under the estimate which was a nice surprise.
I can't say enough about what a great experience this was! I highly recommend them for any move.
Professional and Amazing.
My family and I could not say enough wonderful things about our experience with All Over The State. Nick and Billy were our movers. Our mom was moving from her home of 37 years and she had a ton of large furniture in a 2 story home. The stairs wind and the hallway is narrow, leaving little room to maneuver large heavy furniture. They were both very professional and amazing. They didn't seem to complain or be put out one single bit by any requests we made. I even made a joke to one of them that I bet days like this they wish they weren't working. He laughed and said "nah - its just fine". When I asked my mom what the final cost was, she said around $2850 and it was worth every single penny. One of them even told my brother he was available the next day if we needed anything. I would recommend then to anyone anytime. They made an emotional and stressful move much easier on all of us!!
Superb Company.
Felix and Nathaniel were fantastic!! They arrived at 8:30 and were ready to go. They were very nice and professional. They did the job in a reasonable amount of time. There was no damage to anything. The price was very affordable. This move was a breeze thanks to them. I would definitely recommend them.

Easy Process.
I moved from NM to FL. I was amazed by the professional service and the easy process. I thought that moving will be complicated but I was surprised how easy it was. The first meeting with All Over The State representative was professional, with excellent service and a lot of understanding for my needs. After, the movers did an excellent job of packing, the company took care of everything packing, delivery, documents etc.. All I did was write a check, and waited in my new place in Florida. The delivery was on time as promised. I would like to thank personally Chris Levitz from All Over The State that did exactly as promised.
Great Memory.
I wish I had written this review right after I used All Over The State, 1 year ago, but my memory of the experience is still fresh. They were amazing! First of all, they were super-responsive, from the moment that I requested a moving date and up until the move itself. I e-mailed them several questions and updates over the next few weeks after I'd booked the date, and they responded quickly to each one. They arrived on time, cheerful, friendly, and ready to work. They were patient with the doorman at our apartment, who had parked his truck in front of the loading dock (despite my having reserved it for the move). They were efficient and moved quickly, but they were also very careful and didn't drop, damage, or even bump anything. I was especially amazed at the expert way that they moved my giant (4x4) Ikea Expedit bookshelf, that beautiful particleboard monstrosity held together precariously by tiny wooden pegs. We moved again recently and had to find movers at relatively short notice, and we didn't have much flexibility in our moving date. Unfortunately, All Over The State was already booked for that date and offered us another, but we couldn't take it. The movers we used were OK, but I found myself saying several times that day, "All Over would've done this better", "All Over would've done this quicker", etc. Moving is super-stressful, but All Over The State makes it so much LESS stressful!
Impressed.
I was so impressed with All Over The State. I moved from Tx to Florida and a friend recommended them to do my move. Emailing with them to set up was so simple and every one of their responses was incredibly detailed and helpful. I'd never used movers before and it made the entire process easier having all the information needed without having to research. After getting all of the information needed and setting up the move. This also simplified the move. The day of the move went very well. The mover in charge of the group contacted me multiple times before arriving at my apartment and was very considerate of my schedule. It was appreciated because we actually were able to get the move done earlier and faster than they expected. There were three total movers involved in the process and having that many people made it go SO fast.
This company is very well organized and definitely trains their employees to take care of your belongings. They made what could be a stressful experience into a fast and easy one. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Avoid All State Moving and Storage.
I remember a commercial set at an airport where customer luggage was passed through to a separate room where gorillas stomped all over the pieces. This happened to our items. Boxes were upended, crushed, and abused. Boxes marked 'fragile' were collapsed and delivered upside down. A metal frame was bent and damaged beyond repair. The company agreed to hook up the washer and dryer and said it was done. Silly me,I didn't think to check. The drain hose on the washer was not placed in the receptacle and I found this out when the first wash drained water; ruining the floor covering in that room and, through the walls, to other parts of the house. What fun: cleaning up a flood as you unpack after a move! When I called the company the representatives spoken to had several stories - one, they didn't do it, two, they are not responsible, three, the flooding was due to a faucet leak they told us about. They defended this negligence by telling me that they had no prior complaints against this employee so I must be wrong. Go figure that logic! While that caused the most damage and aggravation, the parting shot was while leaving, the driver knocked down the mailbox post ripping the mailbox off and then drove over the mailbox. When this was reported the response was a denial - send pictures, which I did, then a denial that the driver was responsible, then the driver had no prior complaints about his work so it could not have been his fault. While accidents happen the company's response of denial of responsibility, refusal to acknowledge a wrongdoing, and a total lack of civil empathy cannot be excused. On a sinful day I would recommend this company to my worse enemy. I would go out of my way to warn others. Integrity and honesty should be the cornerstone of any company. I did not find it here.
