  1. Beware!

Do not use this company! Not only was my total cost 24% more than what I was quoted, but multiple items were severely damaged, including the one thing I specifically said was the most important and asked them to please take care of as it was built by my deceased grandfather. Other items were clearly dropped and drawers that were taped shut by the moving company have been dumped out and the contents just randomly thrown into other unsecured places. I strongly caution anyone that's considering using them.

  2. Great Experience.

Nothing but good things to say about this company and the experience we had using them for our move. Very professional and genuinely nice people to work with which made the whole experience enjoyable and smooth. We searched online and did an extensive search and price was much better than what we found elsewhere. We would definitely recommend using this company for your move!

  3. Florida To California.

I looked on yelp in hopes of finding a moving company in SF but of course, it was no luck. I then looked in Florida and came across United Moving Company. Not only are they very precise but they are very attentive to detail. They were sure to wrap all of my glasses, couches, and refrigerators. They made sure to follow all details I gave them which is a HUGE plus to me. All the workers were really nice, made sure not to scratch my wooden floors, did an accurate and quick job. My walls weren't damaged when they moved my things into the new house, no chips, or nicks. I asked if they could remove their shoes and they had no problem doing it. They were incredible! I highly recommend their services!

  4. Don't believe one positive review!

Extortionists, liars, thieves.. These are the words that come to mind when I think of this company. Where to begin.. I originally chose this moving company because they pledged they could do my inter-state move on the same day and due to the generally-positive reviews on this site, BBB, etc. Clearly, they have flooded sites with their own positive reviews; I am here to tell the truth regarding this company so that others don't need to suffer like my wife and I did. I chose this company because I knew my wife would be handling the receipt of our stuff alone and was willing to pay top dollar (over $400 more than their competitors) for what I perceived to be their good reputation. I spoke with Anthony their sales representative who sold me on their positive reviews and on the fact that "all of their drivers and trucks are theirs" and not that of any sub-contractor. Anthony promised me that they could do the move within the timeframe permitted by my receiving building and that it would be done on the same day (I have an email from Anthony where I asked him to confirm all of this which I have printed out). Needless to say, All over United charged me extra for the same-day delivery which I was happy to pay as I figured I would receive a legitimate service. I also confirmed with Anthony that the movers would arrive at my apartment as soon as the loading dock opened, which he confirmed via email as well (8 AM). For days before the move I attempted to get a Certificate of Insurance from the movers as my receiving building requested it. This process by itself took dozens--yes, dozens--of phone calls which included numerous hang-ups, hours placed on hold, representatives blaming their colleagues for not sending it--Melissa, Stephanie, Sierra, e.g.--etc. I won't expand upon this very frustrating and time-consuming experience as there are more important details to explain; let's just make clear that no one should trust a word Sierra, Jacob, Julian (all in customer service); Anthony (sales and long-distance moving); or Derek (dispatch and the alleged "General Manager") say--in particular, Julian and Derek are unbelievably rude and aggressive, the others do the same thing (read: steal, lie and not do their job), they just do so obliquely. In any event, the movers showed up to my apartment over an hour late due to the driver allegedly hitting a construction crane on the way. I figured I'd believe him and try to expedite this move as much as possible; already though, making our agreed-upon window (confirmed in writing) would be difficult due to the driver's delay. The driver and mover (they brought only two men despite a very large job) were from a sub-contractor; the driver's name was Ramsay and the first thing he uttered to me was "which company are you moving with again?" So much for no sub-contractors, eh Anthony? Ramsay then proceeded to fill out paperwork for over half an hour to delay the start of the move and conducted the customary "I'm going to overcharge you at the beginning of this" ritual moving companies often do. Okay I said, I'll pay the extra $400, just start the move please. The move begins and takes about 2 hours with the truck leaving at around 12:00. My wife left the same time, granted in a car and not a truck, but was at our new apartment within 4 hours. The driver put on his "truck GPS" and mentioned to me it would be no problem to make it in the allotted time. I called later that afteernoon, and the driver mentioned to me that now his GPS says he will arrive at 6:10. I presume they had a pretty healthy stop on the way (well over an hour) or that he was just lying to me from the get-go. I informed the company of their contract with me concerning same-day and Anthony's written confirmation of the time allotment. Numerous hang-ups, "hold pleases," yelling at me as if I did something wrong, transpire at that point. I call my building and they happily extend my window and state that if they get there by 7 we will be ok. I call Ramsay at 6:10 when he is supposed to be there and he says he is five minutes away. Ok great, my wife and her family (who took off work and school for the day to help with the move) ready themselves. I call five minutes later, he is now ten minutes away and made a wrong turn. At 6:45 I call him--no answer--I then proceed to call and text repeatedly until 7:20 when I came to the ultimate conclusion that he was out to screw me from the start. His phone did not go straight to voicemail, he was clearly ignoring me. At 8:45 he shows up at my apartment building and of course my doorman won't allow him to begin a move that late when they originally said they need to be done by 6 (and then extended by allowing them to start by 7). When I ask Ramsay to explain his disappearance for two hours when he was but 5 minutes away--he said that someone at "the Company" called him and told him my building called him and told him it would be too late (this he claims occurred at 6:05). Mind you, I spoke with Ramsay after this at 6:10 and informed him of the pre-7 PM arrival and tell him eveerything is Ok. I checked with my building as well who noted that they never spoke with any moving company and prudently mentioned that how would they even have the moving company's phone number. So my wife goes to sleep without our air conditioner, her clothing, bed, etc. and slept on her backpack on a hardwood floor. We inform Ramsay that we would consider it to be very suspicious if he showed up past 11 AM; he said he would arrive by 10:15 just to show how serious he was and "how good of a guy he is." By 12 PM Ramsay still hadn't shown up--he only does so at 12:15. Fine, we ignore this and just want him to begin the move. Only at this point in time by the way when I threaten legal action for not giving me my Certificate of Insurance do I actually receive it (exactly 5 days after requesting the standard template with my building address on it). Ramsay arrives and aggressively and rudely states to my wife since he wasn't able to offload the truck the prior day "the Company" demands a re-delivery fee of $500 in cash or a money order. Please note other posts regarding this company that mention such a scheam, unfortunately I fell for this please don't yourself. I immediately call the Company (All Over United) and get Derek (the alleged General Manager) who informs me "they" I.e. some other Company (read: the sub-contractor which All Over promised they don't hire) is requiring cash. Please note that this is extortion. They will hold your stuff worth thousands and thousands of dollars on their truck and won't release it unless you pay hundreds of dollars in cash on the spot. I told both Ramsay and Derek that "fine, charge the credit card you have on file" and I will sort it out with you later. All I wanted was for them to start the move so we didn't miss another window. My contract with both the sub-contractor and All Over United included the ability to pay with credit card and Anthony told me all services could be done via credit card. No matter: Derek and the Company want cash on the spot because they know you have no alternative and you can't get your credit card to fight that charge.  We had no choice but to pay and continue the move. If one person reads this review and decides not to use this company then I will have been successful in my goal. I don't want anyone to have to experience what my wife and I did. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Do not trust Anthony, he is an adept liar and deceives people for a living. I paid $1,000 more than was originally quoted, received my stuff a day late, my wife and I missed two days at work, etc. Don't roll the dice with them it is not worth it. .

  5. Horrible Experience= Avoid**.

Please, please, please do yourself a favor and AVOID this company at ALL COSTS. If it wasn't for the lord himself watching over me that moving day, I may be in a courthouse being arraigned on assault charges.
These crooks promised same day delivery. They promised a relaxing experience. They should have promised me a bottle of aspirin, because I've never dealt with such a headache. The movers had only 2 and half hours to drive, left Jersey at 12 PM and needed to get to my new apartment by 5 PM. No traffic whatsoever, because I drove ahead of them. They took their time, intentionally showed up late as to be able to charge a re-delivery fee, and just played me like a game of monopoly the entire time. BUT GUESS WHO'S IN CHARGE OF THE BANK, FOOLS! I've already submitted the paperwork for a lawsuit, and filed a dispute with my credit card company as soon as my boxes were off the truck.
Hey All Over United - you've got yourselves a nice little scam going here. Paying people to write positive reviews and deleting the bad ones. 1 negative post a day - tell your removal team to expect a lot from Natasha.
Maybe start treating people with respect, and I'll cancel the deposit I've placed on a billboard on John P. Curci Drive Bay, urging folks to stay away from you. Until then, I hope you lose as much business as possible- because that will absolutelty make my day!

  6. Great company.

When they helped my family and I move, the workers were very courteous and professional. They arrived on time and were very careful not to damage any of my belongings. They worked very well and finished the job with no problems. I will definitely use them again in the future. The price was extremely fair and the quality of work was immaculate. I have used other companies in the past and always ended up with something lost it broken. It was so stressful in the past, but this time was smooth and affordable. It was the best moving company I have ever used and I am very pleased with how they handled everything!

  7. I Had A Successful Move.

How are you? Just wanted to let you know how successful and smooth my move went. I was referred to the company by a friend of mine. I was kind of hesitant at first. Because the company I used before was horrible. They showed up at the time that they stated to me. I hate people showing up late, so that was a plus. The crew was very professional and neatly dressed. I always say appearance is everything. They moved my things in a professional manner and didn't break anything. Another plus. I was trying to stay in the $2,500 to $3,000 range. The price they quoted me was perfect. If I were you I wouldn't hesitate to hire them for your next move. You'll be pleasantly surprised. I'm going to recommend them to everybody.

  8. Do Not Use This Company! Scam!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! BIG SCAM!I used this company to move interstate. When I signed up with them I clearly told them that they had to deliver to my apartment by 6 Pm. The moving truck showed up to my DC apartment over an hour late.  The moving truck had no company information on it and despite the company promising (no subcontractors), the movers themselves seemed to be unfamiliar with the actual moving company. Despite picking up my stuff in DC (Only 4 hour drive) they arrived in NY over 9 hours later, with NO EXPLANATION. I tried throughout the afternoon to speak with the movers themselves and the moving office. Multiple representatives and the moving driver hung up on me several times and did not provide me with their location.

When they finally arrived several hours after 6 PM, the building wouldn't let them unload.  So these crooks decided to come back the next day and charge me a $ 500 "re-delivery" fee. Here's the best part.  Not only did they charge my credit card the agreed upon amount ($1,000) for the move, they refused to charge the re-delivery fee to the card they had on file.  So to add insult to injury they refused to give me MY STUFF unless I gave the $ 500 cash on the spot.
Moving is stressful enough as it is, without the need to deal with poor customer service, and borderline extortion to get your stuff.  AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!
     .

  9. Very Pleased!

All Over United Moving was definitely the way to go. I knew from the initial phone call that they would be very professional and trustworthy. They were on time, very reliable, none of my belongings were damaged and they had an excellent level of professionalism. The price was reasonable too it was roughly around $2,000 I moved from Florida back up to NJ to stay with family. The move went well and pleased with the service I received. .

  10. Excellent Service.

All Over United did as they promise. The staff are excellent and very professional, I didn't even have to move one thing! And the price was perfect it wasn't really expensive at all. I called around 12:45 pm and they got here around 3:00 Pm. I was kinda skeptical about moving from Indiana all the way to Oregon, but they reassured me everything was fine and there was no hidden fees. The price was around 3,600, this was by far the best moving experience I have every had. If I ever need to move again I am definitely going to call them again, and you should too! I am very pleased with this service hope this business keeps going. .

  11. Great Company, Great Value.

The move was done quick, and easily. The staff was very professional, and the prices are really unbeatable. All of the faces were friendly, and I was extremely satisfied. My move was around $3,000 and for what All Over United did for us, it was a bargain. Every step of the turn was easy, and I would use them again. I was really impressed by how the staff handled everything, and took the pressure off of my family and let us relax on the moving day.

  12. Best company there Is.

This is the best moving company ever. They have have great customer service very polite an understanding . I thought my move from Maryland to Texas would cost an arm and an leg I was wrong only about 3000 which wasn't bad at all in my book . When everything arrived at our new destination everything was still the same as when it first left from Maryland. I just knew for sure something would be broken . well I was wrong about that one. I recommend this moving company to anyone they are truly the best in the business.

  14. Great Company.

I had to transfer from my office in AZ to LA and didn't know what I was going to do with all my stuff.  I thought about selling and rebuying, but then was recommended All Over Moving and Storage.  The price was really hard to beat and so I decided to give it a try.  The movers were awesome.  All my stuff was handled with care.  It got to me on time and I really appreciated how much effort went into it.  I highly recommend this service to anyone.  .

  15. Great company!

We used All Over United moving company when we relocated to Texas from Florida. My husband received a job promotion and we needed to move ASAP. We had a hard time finding companies to move us for a reasonable price but All Over United was the best. We were originally quoted $2700 for the move, but only ended up paying $2450. We moved to TX without any problems. We had four movers who unpacked us very quickly and professionally. Not sure if we will have to move anytime soon, but if we do we will definitely use All Over United again.
