Hello,
Here is my saga with Alliance Moving and Storage (and their "carrier" NW Relocation) for our move from Vancouver, WA to Goodyear, AZ:
The contract stated that our truck would arrive "No earlier that February 17, 2021," and the box next to it, titled "No Later than" was empty (not filled in).
At no point did the Alliance representative who arranged our move, "Chloe" ever say our move would arrive later than Feb. 17. 2021. In fact, she always pointed to Feb. 17, 2021 as the arrival date.
Today is March 1, 2021 and we still have no notice as to when our property is going to arrive. Here is the rugged adventure we've had so far with alliance Moving and Storage, and NW Relocation:
Feb. 11, 2021: called NW relocation (503-236-6241) to ask what time on Feb. 17 the truck would arrive. NW Relocation representative "Heather" said it could be as late as March 9, 2021. I told her about our Feb. 17 date and how this "three-week window" was never explained to us. She emailed us a "Long Distance form and said if we put in a new date three weeks from Feb. 11 we could receive our goods no later than March 4, 2021. We filled out the form and emailed it back to her. She said she would call us the next day (Feb. 12) about the details of our move. Here is how the next five days went:
Feb. 12: No call from Heather, so made dozens of calls to her office, every time getting no answer or a prompt to leave a voicemail.
Feb. 13: Again, dozens of calls and the phone was not answered.
Feb: 14: Again, dozens of calls and the phone was not answered.
Feb: 15: Again, dozens of calls and the phone was not answered. Late afternoon, texted and phoned (954-342-6598) "Chloe." She responded that she could not help, but gave me the customer service number (888-278-8149). I called and "Kevin" told me he would look into it and call me tomorrow.
Feb. 16: Did not hear from Kevin, so I called him. He said he would check on it and call me
Feb. 17: Did not hear from Kevin, so I called him. He said he would check on it and call me.
Feb. 19: Did not hear from Kevin, so I called him. He said he would check on it and call me.
Note: by now my average hold time waiting for Kevin was approximately 30 minutes for each call.
Feb 22: Did not hear from Kevin, so I called him. He said he heard the truck was "loaded" and would let me know more on Feb. 24.
Feb 24: No word from Kevin.
Feb. 25: No word from Kevin.
Feb 26: Called Kevin and was on hold for 2 hours and 26 minutes. Suspicious that "Kevin" was purposely leaving me on hold because he knew it was me (he informed me on a prior call that my name popped up to match my phone number), I called the customer service number (same number as the one for Kevin) and "Irene" immediately answered. She seemed sympathetic to my poor customer service from Kevin and said she would send my customer service complaint about Kevin to her supervisor, and she added, "He'll call you tonight or tomorrow at the latest."
It is now March 1, 2021 and I have not heard from Irene or her supervisor (and, of course, I have not heard from Heather, Chloe, or Kevin either.)
These guys were amazing as always
They were fast and efficient and friendly and professional and everything you hope your movers will be. The rate is also very reasonable, so I felt like I was getting a fair deal. I have a piano, and I'm always nervous about that but they aced it. I will definitely call them again.
They are the great movers in the town
They have a low deposit with no hassle to set up. The pricing is more than fair. They charge by item and not by the hour, which decreases so much stress on moving day. I highly recommend you all to book them.
Excellent Work
The price quoted was the most reasonable and the cheapest among all and it was the price that we actually paid. I have moved many times and this was one of the best experiences I've ever had with movers.
Job well done
The Alliance movers came and carefully wrapped and took apart the furniture and loaded it on the truck. Nothing was lost damaged or stolen. We weren’t charged a dollar more for our move. It was a pleasant experience working with them and we would be happy to consider them again in the future.
The movers handled our move very efficiently
The belongings were moves from the 3rd-floor apartments on both ends with ease and were super pleasant the whole time. The cost was great. I recommend you all to use these movers and we also will definitely be using them next time we move!
Extremely Unprofessional
I was misinformed by their Quality Assurance rep Chris. He increased my "estimate" for my 1 bedroom apartment from $2.3k to $4.3k and told me the truck would be weighed and the actual cost would be charged. Instead they charge for the space you reserve which is fine if they are upfront about it. This was explained to me during a customer service call by rep Tatiana who was very nice and I was told they would review the audio from the call and before her Supervisor could hang up her Supervisor told her (who he was training) that I was "a f****** a******". Great job all around guys. My advice is use another company every level except the pickup and phone rep was trash. Reach out to local moving companies and don't use companies that literally don't care about their customer base.
Highly recommended movers
That is why I can refer my close friends and relatives to them without feeling guilty. They have proved multiple times that they are trustworthy. Three days ago, they moved office furniture and stationery to my new office. The job was done so perfectly. I am grateful for that glorious experience.
Best Movers
After many nights and phone calls of research and talking to companies we found Alliance movers to be the best company and fit for our relocation. A lot of our furniture is very heavy and valuable. We wanted to make sure we had a mover who would respect our home as well as our goods and that they did.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Not sure if these are real reviews but I would not trust them. This company is a literal scam. They under bid our job on purpose and then hired a moving company that does not have better than 1 star reviews anywhere. This company is simply a broker and they will give you a quote for a fair price. The slummy moving company they hire is going to show up and want more money and you will have no recourse at all. Any moving company that asks for money up front is not legit!!! All of the bigger legitimate van lines take money on delivery when the job is completed.
Just read through the positive reviews and decide for yourself if they are real or fake.....

The N movers are absolutely caring about the customer and their satisfaction. I will recommend Alliance movers to anyone and everyone that. They help their customer with almost everything. We were settled into our house before the holiday and there's nothing absolutely nothing that I have to complain about.

This move was nothing short than just absolute perfection. I came across these movers and was thrilled from the very first phone conversation to the last piece of furniture that was delivered. I am so impressed with the whole moving experience.
They are a stand up company
This was one of those moves when everything fell into place. The n movers scheduled our dates. They gave us a price quote and not a dollar more was charged to us after move. They are actual mover - not a broker. Everyone’s worst fear is being over charged or never seeing furniture again that’s why we chose them.
We were very happy with these movers
We moved from WA to NY and used the company after reviewing several moving services online then finding that company. Their price was also good. When we looked at it and compared it with other moving companies, it was better in all sense.
Always going to remember this move
Excellent customer service and attention to detail. Also, they provided me with a significantly lower cost for my move. The owners are very hands on and helped me throughout the process. Very impressed and completely satisfied with all members.
