  1. This company is a complete fraud.

    The company picked my stuff on 6/26 with one bedroom furniture and 16 boxes of personal stuff. I was told they will deliver the stuff in 3-5 days. The estimate is $1667, but the guy who picked up insisted that I pay $2773. For the next 3-4 weeks, we contacted the company so many times and first we were told that our account was handled by another department, and the other department never picked up the phone. We filed police report, BBB, FMCSA, and the guy who picked up the stuff, who turned out to be the president of the company, repeated lied to us and threaten us: "call the police, I don't care!" Of course, police refused to search for them because they has a DOT #.
    Today is 9/16, my check was cached a long time ago, and my stuff totally disappeared. Today I received a message from BBB that American Eagle LLC replied to them that they don't have my account on their system. What a laugh! I have the moving sheet with me with my account #AH833079.

    I just completed my fifth move with American Eagle and once again a Flawless move. These people are top-notch and I will never use anyone else. The team is amazing and actually seem to enjoy their work and they all have a great sense of humor to boot, which made what started out as a very stressful move much more pleasant. AAA++ happy happy customer.

  3. The best.

    This was the first time in my life I used a professional moving service. My girlfriend's advice and short time frame between a few trips and our move date caused me to search. I researched heavily beforehand and was happy to choose American Eagle to handle my items due to their stellar reviews, additional ensuring capabilities.

    It is hard for me to put trust in someone's hands with all of my items. I have a good deal of breakable items and expensive electronics that are hard to replace. The 3 person team that performed our move treated our items with care. They showed up on time, worked hard through the process, and did a great job of packing the large items we did not put in boxes beforehand.

    The next time I need to move, I think I will take this route again and leave it to the professionals at American Eagle.

    This time that we moved there were no issues and no damage. I've only moved 3 times in the past two decades and both times things were in disarray. This time it was absolute perfection. I am very pleased with the job well done by American Eagle. Thank you!

  5. Really the best.

    We found American Eagle online on a customer review forum. After seeing all the positive feedback from recent moves we figured we would give them a shot. I called the company directly and worked closely with my sales representative. I walked through my home and called off the items I would be taking. They entered it into thier system and emailed me my quote in writing. The price was well in line with our budget and I was pleased with the level of service and decided to reserve our move with them. Everything went incredibly smooth. We had the boxes packed beforehand so when the movers showed up all they had to do was load the truck and head out for our new home. They guided us through this process and made sure we understood our estimate and felt comfortabld and confident with the company and we did. Hard working and honest and I’m a happy customer.

  6. Destroyed 80% of our belongings.

    Pickup 2 days late Delivery 28 days late. Charged for entire truck when belongings only took 2/3 of truck and another customers things were added to truck.
    Truck was driven illegally on Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn NY. Went under a low bridge and ripped the top off. Truck was abandoned on side of road and towed to impound and left there for 10 days with no roof, open to rain and heat. Accident on July 1 and company never informed us. Goods delivered on Aug 3. Boxes had all been repacked. Random things thrown together: kitchen goods with pictures in frames, Christmas items with games, a box of over100 DVDs with an inch of water in the plastic container which had the top crushed and the contents of 8 large UHaul boxes of clothes stuffed into 5 kitchen sized garbage bags, damp and molding.

    James, original Service Rep was told to not respond to my phone calls or texts. James said American Eagle Moving was not a broker, shipped only in American Eagle truck which had clearly marked cubic foot lines so the customer knew exactly how much they were shipping. James said they did not use subcontractors and the cost was $6.00/c.f.

    The truck that arrived was a Penske truck that was rented in Dayton OH by moving.net, 2776 E 65th St, Brooklyn NY. 11234 201-443-7171. The truck that delivered was a different Penske truck (I have photos of both trucks license plates) and the movers said they were subcontracted by American Eagle.

    I have phoned and texted Isaac Zait, 201-443-7171, American Eagle, and Service Rep, James, 551-800-1114 multiple times and they will not respond.

    The move was very well done by a company that has morales and ethics. My wife and I are glad that we made the right decision.

    Thank you very much for getting us moved on a quick and smooth fashion. We are going to refer you all for ever.

  8. 8 days.

    This was so easy and so fast. They were polite and very delicate with our furniture. We were told it may take up to 14 business days and the move from start to finish was 8 days!

    We were absolutely amazed that a large company like this could make a long distance move like this so quickly. Happy happy happy is all that I can excellently express.

    I thought this was going to be a disaster. My brother reserved a moving company and 4 days, yes 4 DAYS before they were suppose to be at my house they cancelled.

    I was scared and worried that someone was going to charge me whatever they wanted.

    I spoke with Tony at American Eagle and he was so kind and beyond helpful. The knowledge that he armed me with, made everything seem like it was going to be ok.

    They had the availability to get me moved and I took it. The loading and unloading went perfect. The price was a little less than I was going to charged, which I thought how, but I didn’t worry about it. Thanks a billion Tony, you deserve a plaque or a medal.

  10. Reliable.

    This is seriously a very reliable company. They not only sure that my first two moves went smoothly, but this time, my third move went even better than I could’ve imagained.

    I totally forgot that as I grow, I’m sure companies to as well. They showed that first hand to me. I had no issues on any of the three moves that I had with American Eagle. This one was the most important one because of the time crunch that I was on. Just like the past though, they exceeded my expectations. Jared has helped me on all three moves and the fact that he got me a discount this time was amazing.

    Thank you Jared, thank you American Eagle, and to my corporate company for assistant general manager with helping with part of the relocation cost.

  11. Difficulty.

    I was relocated for my job and I ran into so many barriers that life just became difficult. I spoke with my apartment complex and they didn’t want to let me break my lease without paying a crazy amount.

    With the move and the old apartment and new apartment I was going to be about $430 short. I think my prayers were answeed because the movers knew my situation and helped me save almost $600.

    I am so blessed and I think that the best part of this situation is to always remember who looks after you in all cases.

  12. No delivery, no information.

    Our belongings were picked up (after paying the deposit and $685 CASH before movers would load) 7/30/18 in Summerfield FL to be delivered in 7-10 days to Ashland NE. Still haven’t received our possessions and they never kept me apprised of location, status, or ETA of the shipment as promised by the rep. I dealt with who gave me the quote, took my order and deposit, his direct contact number and email address. I have called and texted every phone number I can find for American Eagle Moving and I have sent emails and an overnight delivery certified letter to the company—still no suitable response or information. I’m sickened to think I may have been scammed or am a victim of fraud or theft, but mostly I’m heartbroken that I may have forever lost my recently deceased husband’s photos, our momentoes, and his Navy and Vietnam veteran service ribbons. Had I thought this would happen and the company was going to be so insensitive and unprofessional I would never had employed American Eagle Moving.

    When I started to search for moving companies I was bombarded by four or five different companies that decided to call me text me email me and basically knock on my front door. I was just about fed up with talking to and trying to find a company that was absolutely legitimate in their business affairs.

    I came across Nick who was a phenomenal and knowledgeable and polite gentleman who guided me and guy did my wife through the entire process of what to expect and what to look out for when speaking with other companies.

    When the day came around for the movers to show up they arrived on time in uniform they were clean and the truck was clean that scored huge points with my wife and I. I was absolutely amazed by how quick and proficient the gentlemen were that packed up and disassembled and wrapped up all of our furniture.

    All of my wife’s stuff that she is very sentimental about was handled like it had a very big red sign that said fragile on it. When everything was loaded into the truck a huge sigh of relief came over both of us.

    When the day for delivery came everything looked like it was loaded and they unloaded everything into my house unwrap everything put everything back into the places that we asked. We were both very very happy with the services that American eagle gave us.

    I will tell all of my friends all of my family and all of my new coworkers that when it is time to relocate for work or just relocate to retire to get on the phone and call Nick or call anyone at American Eagle.

    Thank you Nick I really appreciate how courteous you were and how much of a gentleman your workers were Towards myself and my wife.

    American Eagle Moving Company Review

    On March 15, 2018 I called American Eagle Moving Company and spoke to Reservations Specialist Jared. Jared gave me all the pertinent information regarding cost and such. I informed him of my move date and he informed me that movers will be at my home in Plano, TX to pick up my items on June 1 or June 2. He then asked me when will I want my items delivered. I told him I want them delivered by June 15 2018. He stated that would be great because deliver is 2 weeks after pick up. Great! After I paid $1500 deposit (balance $750 -- $375 delivered on pick and $375 on drop off). I called at least 2 month in April and in May. Then the last week prior to pick up, I called everyday to find out when the movers were arriving. The movers came on June 2. The movers were nice and educated me my move. They also informed me that if I go over the 550 cubic feet that was quoted to me that I would have to pay extra for the me. (1).. this was the first time I heard anything like this and I moved crossed state lines since 2001. So with that being said, I had to leave my brand new sectional I just brought in TX. Next, I relocate to Falls Church, VA and moved into my apartment June 15. I called American Eagle on June 13 to get an estimate time of when the movers will be coming to my apartment to deliver my items. They informed me for the FIRST time that my items will not be delivered on June 15, but that was the first available date of deliver. I was LIVID!! I explain to the reps and Managers that this was the first time this was told me. I felt as though no one from the company seemed to care about me or my items. I called every day and was honestly in fear of the company stealing my items to which I have expressed this to them numerous time. At the end of June, I found googled and found the name and number of the owner of the company. I called him and he too was a bit rude to me initially. I allowed him to calm down and he advise me to text him my job ID number and he would call me back. He never called back. So it was July 3rd (a month after not having my items AND exactly 4 days after the 2 weeks from the first date of deliver) my items were not loaded on the truck nor a driver was available. I called on July 5th and the rep FINALLY told me my items were loaded and are on their way. The movers called me that Saturday July 7th and stated they would be to my apartment on July 8. Naturally they were NOT.. they came July 9. Ok cool. NOW here is where I lost it. The movers get here and tell me, they cannot move my items from truck to my apartment unless I paid an EXTRA $450. The first 50 feet was free and everything after I have to pay $75 per feet. I was so emotional. When I called American Eagle Movers, there was nothing they could do. I was even told they American Eagle Movers told the movers to leave my items on the sidewalk, collect the balance of $375 and leave. WHAT COMPANY DOES THAT!! I suggest to you ALL DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. It was a horror movie come to life for me. The communication was poor, the lack of customer satisfaction was poor, no form of taking responsibility. OH and one time I called and spoke to a rep and she hung up on me as I was talking… Rude Reps. FYI, the lost my headboard, box spring, 2 carry on suitcases and broke numerous dishes and glassware. I have filed a claim and now it will take them 12 weeks (4 months) just to investigate… SMDH. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL. STAY FAR AWAY!!
