  1. Konami movers are thieves strait up

Konami charged me $6,700 and then stole my whole 2 bedroom apartment. Don’t ever sign a contract that says the movers have 30 days to move your stuff. I’m so upset with myself . Any reviews that are positive for Konami were written by Leia . These guys are professional thieves. The hold your stuff hostage and extort you for more money. They tell you it will only be a few days. Sign this paper that says we have 30 days. Then they take your stuff and forget about you, while they try to find another company that already has a truck going to your area to add your stuff on to. That way they can keep more money. I paid a 1600 deposit to someone in Florida which didn’t even get added to the move. 2,500 to pick up my stuff. Then they tell me it’s another 2500 dollars when they deliver it. Then they keep your stuff . Don’t use these guys . If you already paid a deposit, let it go, or you will lose your stuff..

  2. Worst company ever

Worst moving company- quoted $1693 and charged $4583. Lied about how many sq feet was used. Customer Service people are extremely rude. Never call you back. Missing items and won’t respond to replacing them. It’s been 8 mos.

  3. Do not use these THEIVES.

DO NOT USE THESE THEIVES!! We originally went with Executive moving because they have a pretty good salesman. He takes us through of what would happen from start to finish, gave us good discounts even military because our son is currently serving. We had this move scheduled 3 mths in advance, paid a deposit and explained that we would most likely need our own truck because we have allot of stuff and a few very heavy items. We were promised that we would have our own truck and that they would have their best movers. When the time came for moving, we were given a 2 day window of when the move would begin and end. The first day came, scheduled to be there between 8 - 12, 12:30 rolled by with no phone call. When I called and asked what was going on, I was told "oh the truck is already full and we were going to call around 2:30 pm to let you know what time tomorrow". I basically told the operator, that that made no sense to call me 2 hours after they were supposed to be there to tell me they weren't coming. Then was told, tomorrow 3-5 pm. This got me upset because we already planned that they were going to pick up our stuff TODAY and we were leaving tomorrow (this was a move from CA to NV). "Oh well you guys have to be there for the movers to get your stuff". So basically since the plan was to use movers, we were left to wait for them to show up. So instead of leaving to the new house the next morning we had to wait until they were done the next day. Next day..11 am got a call from Executive. " They filled the truck again and won't be able to come today" this is pretty much where I went off on them about we are supposed to be on the road this morning but because of their failure to keep their schedule I'm having to mess with mine. "Oh we're sorry but someone still has to be there for the movers, we can be there tomorrow between 1-4 pm". I called my husband who was already at the new house, because he was waiting for them to be there today. We decided to just have me, the kids and animals go up and he would come back to meet the movers the next day. Next day, remember this is day 3 and extra day after their moving window. It's passed 1 pm and my husband is getting furious because he drove 4 hrs to meet these idiots. I call Executive and get the run around about the movers driving and can't pick up the phone, we'll have the driver call you with an ETA. The driver calls me and I informed him to call my husband because he's the one waiting for them, getting pissed off by the minute. A few minutes later, my very pissed off husband tells me he cancelled the move because they filled the truck again and wouldn't be able to make it today. So we spent more time and a few extra days to do the rest of the move ourselves. We paid for a truck and scheduled/hired movers in CA to help load the truck and then in NV to help unload and setup. This should have been the plan from the get go because it costed half the amount of the move the charlatons at Executive were supposed to do. We did lose out on our deposit, thank goodness we didn't give them more because of that stupid contract because we decided to cancel. I wouldn't doubt this how they mostly get paid, promise a job they don't do until the client cancelled and they keep the deposit. I do want to give a shout out to those that helped us load and unload. In CA we called Starving Students who set us up with guys to help load the truck. And in NV we used Five Star Moving, they were awesome and took care of us with the unload and set up in our new home.

  4. Zero Stars. Thieves, Dishonest, Careless.

The movers were late to show up, asked if they could have some of my things, damaged some property, and likely stole a box with my son's items in it.

I used this company through a broker for a recent move. My move date was 2/11/2020. When they picked up my goods, the team was several hours late to show up, which should have been my first red flag. During the move, one of the movers asked if they could have a large Powerwheel Jeep that was in my garage for their child. I consented and said they could have it, as my kids honestly didn't use it very much. This should have been the second red flag about this company. When my goods were delivered, my king bed frame was damaged beyond repair. I didn't put in a claim for this damage because the representative at pickup advised they only pay "cents on the dollar" for damaged items. My wife and I took it as a loss and just went and purchased a new one here in Florida.

With all that went wrong above, I simply would have just moved on and never dealt with this business again. However, while unpacking, we found that the box labeled "XBox" was missing. This contained my 7 year old son's XBox and his games. Shame on us for labeling it what it was and letting them know what was inside. It appears the box was stolen. Since no other items went missing and their employee had previously asked for some of our toys for their child, I believe it's likely they saw this box and took it. There's no other explanation for why this is the only box that did not arrive.

Here is some additional information about my experience. I went through United American Movers (a broker) and they did the quote. Their quote was about 40% of what they charged the day the items were picked up. They claimed it was because the cubic feet quoted by the broker was wrong. I paid the higher amount ($9,000 vs. $4,000 and some change). I was promised 45 days free storage and then a rate of $240/month after that 45 days since I was buying a home here. Well 2 days before the 45 day mark, they called me and told me my items had to be out or they were charging more then $1,000 per month for the storage. I had to locate a storage unit, take delivery there, and then move everything myself after I closed on my home. This was a nightmare.

Stay away from this company. Not only because of their lack of punctuality, care for your belongings, and poor price quoting, but because you cannot trust them with your household goods.

  5. Lost a lot of my cherished, one-of-a-kind items, put me in danger.

First I apologize this is so long, this has been the absolute worst experience I've ever had. I am absolutely sick over the loss of so many of my items - my recently deceased mother's hand painted art, her mementos, my deceased father's items, an entire cedar chest full of them, all lost. They lost big furniture and many boxed items full of irreplaceable items. I am devastated. They do not return my calls, do not reply to my emails. When I do talk with them they say they are too busy to try to find out where all my stuff is. They say they will talk to the driver, and 'may' contact customers before and after my drop to see if they have any of my stuff. One of the truck driver's drops called me from Louisiana, because they received a box of some of my important and confidential papers - they found my phone number and called me. They since found a couple other boxes of my stuff, but I am missing so many things. How does this happen, you ask? Well I did to. I was not told by the broker Moving Pros US that my stuff would be picked up in a large 26' truck then taken to a warehouse, unloaded and put on a semi for transportation. My stuff was moved at least 4 times. The guy I talked with who had received some of my stuff said his was transferred more times than that. Well, that also explains why so much of my stuff was damaged and broken. One of the other inexcusable things the truck driver did was to hire two guys off Craigslist to pose as movers to unload the truck. Well these Craigslist movers were both injured (one recovering from a broken arm, one had a hernia, one was just released from a 15-year prison sentence in Texas! Plus they hardly did anything. The truck driver left without me getting the opportunity to verify I had everything and he left me with a full U-Haul and the two ex-felon druggies. I am an elder woman living here alone and they came into my house and unloaded things before I realized it. I had to pay them an additional $200 per the trucker, but let them go as soon as I found out. One of them is still harassing me with phone calls. I had to hire other, more professional movers to move me out of the U-Haul and into the house, and reassemble my furniture. This was an absolute nightmare, and still is. I paid more than 3x what I was quoted by the boker, and now I don't have my stuff, missing 1 out of 4 dining chairs, nightstand, chest of drawers - all with stuff inside! I am sick, absolutely sick! I do not recommend either of these terrible, terrible companies. They take your money, ask for more, then won't respond when you have a problem. I don't know if I will ever get my stuff back and am just devastated. I regret with all my being for ever hiring either of these companies for my move and if I can save at least one other person or family by letting them know to steer far away from them then that will help me sleep at night.

  6. Worst moving company I ever used.

Like many, this was the worst moving experience I have ever encountered. The company, in my opinion, practices a bait and switch approach to the moving process. In addition, they outright lie when they tell you they own all of their vehicles. If you own all of your vehicles, then why do you show up at my house with an enterprise rental. What happened to the 53 ' company owned trailer you said was coming to pick up my load. Why did you not tell me my load was going back to Vegas only to be put in storage for 7 days until it was loaded on a 53' trailer which by the way was not owned by you. But despite all of that, they told me they had a sophisticated software program sponsored by DOT that could accurately determine cube and did not need to send an inspector out to determine the cube. After countless hours on the phone with tape measure in hand, I gave measurements of all big pieces of furniture to include TV Entertainment center, a large 7 piece desk, dining room table, kitchen table, night stands, dressers etc along with all pictures as well.

The salesman sounded very informative but in the end knew nothing or again this could have been part of the bait and switch tactics used by this company. However, in the end, he did not know the following:

    1) there was a cost to stretch wrap the bedding

    2) the TV entertainment center needed to be crated at $425.00

    3) He underestimated the # of pictures that needed to be crated even though I told him I had 21 pictures that needed to be boxed and he only included packaging for 7

    4) He did not know a 53' trailer was coming to the house

    5) He thought packaging costs were $10/box not $20

    6) He confirmed a pick up date of Wednesday via e mail and they showed up on Tuesday and said it would cost extra to hold off till Wednesday

    7) the salesperson said it would be 1676 cube and by the time they got done they claimed it was 2200 cube.

    8) they could not fit the entire load in the rental truck they sent and had to come back Thursday to pickup remainder of load

    9) the remainder of load was never put on the original truck for delivery. It arrived 10 days later.

    Now here is the killer

I sold the following before the move

    1) Kitchen table and 4 chairs

    2) Dining room table

    3) 7 piece office desk and two chairs

All these were included in the original estimate.

When they showed up a day early, I was again told

1)it would cost 425.00 to crate the entertainment center - I had to go on FB Market place and give it away at N/C.

    2) I was told day of move that I was responsible for unhooking the Washer and dryer. The washing machine was hooked up to a Water Softener and I was not comfortable with unhooking that at 10:00 at night so I had to sell the unit to the new buyers of my house. The was a 1 year old set, I had to give away for pennies on the dollar

    3) in the end, I had to pay an additional $1100 in packaging costs and $1400 in cube. I was told that the 2nd load they had to pickup was estimated to be 300 cube and they would verify that as it was an estimate. Never happened. Please stay away from this company. Their lies and tactics are suspect. I will be submitting a report to the Nevada AG so other people to not have to endure what we went through. Once they arrive and you are two days from closing, you have no recourse but to succumb to their demands.

  7. Damage and Theft.

DO NOT USE ‘EXECUTIVE MOVING AND STORAGE! They broke numerous pieces of furniture, smashed boxes, went through my boxes and stole things, lost furniture pieces. Total disaster. Cost me 10K and their insurance wants to to settle for $193.00.

  8. Beware!!

Scammers. Do not use this service, it is a scam. This is not a moving service, they will just scam you to the extent of forging signatures. Stay away!

  9. Do NOT use Executive Moving and Storage!!

Do NOT use this company! Reports will be filed with the Department of Transportation, BBB, Las Vegas Department of Commerce, and State of Nevada Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs for unethical and illegal business practices of this moving company.

The company was 3 days late for pickup, wanted different payment terms (per contract payment was in thirds, reservation, pickup, and delivery) did not provide a certificate of weight, demanded $1,700 more for the delivery without a certificate of weight, however, the driver was at least nice enough to allow us to weigh before and after unloading to get the actual weight of our goods, but we still had to pay the higher amount and wait on a refund for our goods to be unloaded. Per the certificate of weight, we should be refunded $1701.

3 weeks later, 15 phone calls and 8 emails - nothing but a runaround story from their Customer Service and "Management" team. The broker company was informed that the driver arrived with the paperwork and certificate of weight over 3 weeks ago, and that an update would be provided within 24-48 hours.. never happened! Calls were made each day with different stories, I.e. the driver arrived and the Sales Department is processing the refund, the Accounting Department is waiting on paperwork, we're waiting on the driver to arrive.

    This place is a SCAM!

  10. Do Not Use This Company!

Please take the time to read this, it may make your move less difficult. Everything stated is 100% the truth, I have not exaggerated or lied. The following is just a small part of the overall destruction and inconsiderate behavior shown to me and my belongings.

    1. Did not come on the day they
said to pick up my belongings

    2. Took 9 hours to load my stuff

    3. All kinds of extra charges that
Was never told about until the
Day of pick up. Total extra
    2,500

    4. Delivery man who was "muscle"
    Was rude and inconsiderate of
    my stuff and new place

    5. Stuff was destroyed!! Box of
    CD's reduced to rubble!

    6. Glass chess set, my late
    husband's, in a million pieces!

    7. Power cord for lift chair
    ruined! Small bookcase broken

    8. Chest of drawers 7 inch gouge
On top, also big chunks out of
    top

    9. Boxes stack above shoulder
    height but only the heaviest
    Boxes on top

10 Customer service rep that I
    spoke with on delivery date,
    called me every nasty and
foul word she knew because I
    was $100 short!

11 When I called customer service
    for the follow up, rep
    repeatedly stated that I didn't
speak with them that day. The
    customer service number I
called on delivery was the same
number I called for the follow
    up

    12 Making videos of the
    destruction. HIGHLY recommend
    Doing this for your proof

Felt like they did a bait and switch, I was under so much pressure. Only had two days before the new owners would be taking possession. I think I made the mistake of telling them that

The word "professional" is not what I would use. The team of Lamar and his son were so nice, still pressured me however.

This company should be put out of business, because of their deceptive practices. Wish I would have been in a position to ask them to leave and do something different.

If you are moving near or far, pay your friends well to help you. They will do a better job with way less stress. Unless you want to lose weight and sleep over your move.

Wish I would have read the reviews
    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

  11. DONT DO IT - FRAUD and DECEPTIVE Business Practices.

On July 3rd we entered into an initial quote with Merit for C$4400 based on the size of our place (two-bed and 51 boxes). That was the initial quote we agreed to and signed. First. When we gave them our bank info to deduct the initial deposit of $2360, they had taken down our wrong account info. They ran the payment through twice under the wrong account so naturally, it showed 'insufficiant funds.' After three teleconferences with our bank and theirs, our bank had told them numerous times they had a problem with their bank - not ours. Pressured to move, we paid $125 ro send a money order to them overnight. As soon as they got their initial deposit, the owner who we had been dealing with, Ol Sal Vascon was never to be heard of again. The next call received was two weeks later from a company our of Las Vegas, Nv -Executive Movers who said they were picking up our possessions to move. We told them we were with a company called Merit Moving. The rude woman on the phone said, "Not anymore." Executive Moving cancelled our pick-up three times on the same day as they said they would pick us up. Each cancellation, we had to call our hotels we had planned our trip to move on and each time we were charged the hotel cost because of their cancellations. We called Executive Movers and texted ol Slick Sal from Merit to ask when we would be moved. First they told us 3-5 days out - then 7-10 days, and finally 30 days to move and they were nasty each time we called. Of course every day we would text Slick Sal, he would never rrespond . Finally on the 3rd week, Executive showed up. After everything was loaded on to their truck our cost for the move now went from the initial $4400 to now $6800. They said unlike Merit with the size of the 2-bed home and 51 boxes, they :do things different." What choice did we have to pay - our stuff was already loaded. Then we went on to our new home unknowingly what was about to happen. Executive took our furniture from loading to putting our stuff in their warehouse where it sat for three weeks. meanwhile, we slept on the floor of our new place for 22 days waiing - calling Executive and texting ol sal daily - still nothing. Then finally after 22 days, the movers who would delivered our furniture showed up in our new town. They said "We have a 51 foot truck and we can't move that down your street so we will have to unload your furniture and put it on a u-haul. That was an additional $1300 as well as the movers had their hand out for a tip!. You do the math. We started going through all of our possessions. Cracked flat screen TV;s that the loaders insisted not to use our heavy-duty moving boxes for them - a ton of other broken items and above all - a variety of missing abd actually stolen items. We had enough. We also filed with the Florida and Nevada Attorney general;s office and also contacted CBS,ABC and NBC. which will be running articles soon. Ol Slick Sal come to find out has changed his company name last December to now Merit Moving - they have 16 Florida AG Office complaints as well as works in conjunction with Executive Moving and other companies. DONT DO IT !

    Service cost: $8,900.

  12. Horrible!!

My son contacted a company to move his antique pool table. That company brokered these people to do the moving. The pool table arrived without two of the legs. This was the first of May. He tried contacting them several times through phone and email. No one would ever return his call. He finally filed a claim, which we were told could take up to six months. I contacted the company today to see if I could get someone. The first phone call I spoke with a woman who did attempt to help us because she thought she had the legs. She sent a picture to my son, but it wasn't them. I then asked for a manager. I was put on hold for several minutes, then disconnected. I called again and was immediately put on hold. I was on hold for six minutes and they never checked back. I called again and was put on hold and disconnected. Fourth time might be a charm..finally get to talk to someone who claimed to be the manager. When she answered the phone I thought she said her name was Tonya (didn't write it down), but she definitely didn't sound like a manager. I proceeded in elevated not so nice tones to relay everything that had transpired, and wanted to know what they were going to do to remedy the problem. She stated that we should file a claim. I told her that we wanted the legs to the table. She refused to have anyone look for them because their facility is 50,000 square feet, and that would be too big an effort. I pointed out that they hadn't even apologized to my son for losing this. She said I should apologize to her service girls for talking to them the way I had, and stated that she had recordings of me using the "B" word five times with one of the girls. I told her the only thing I had done was to elevate my voice. I hadn't sworn, name called, or done anything but state facts. I then asked her to please put the girl on the phone and play the recordings so I could hear where I had said that (I hadn't said that so I knew she wouldn't do it). At this point she said she would listen them later. I then told her I would be happy to blast them on social media for the horrible company they were. I've never had a company treat their customers so bad. Once I got online, I noticed that they have many, many negative comments. No Surprise! Guess our antique pool table will just be devalued because of their negligence and unprofessionalism. Oh yeah, when I asked her name again at the end she paused and said Sarah.

  13. The Absolute Worst.

Lied about pick up date. Lied about delivery date. Took a month. Items badly handled in their Las Vegas warehouse. Damage to 55 inch TV. BIKE broken. Cement table top smashed in corners. Leather on bed ripped and dented from weight on it. Driver was incompetent had to get a more expensive u haul to deliver. They are liars and thugs only in Vegas should never be in
Business. And I only got them through a broker called MOVING PROS US. ASK if you being brokered before you sign up so you don’t get unprofessional lying thugs like executive moving out of Las Vegas. My cost ended up doubled to repair or replace their mess.

  14. Good Moving Company.

I consider this a good moving company that kept me in the loop about my entire move. This was a favorable experience with a moving company that knew exactly how to manage and operate a move. Will be recommending them to as many people as I can!

  15. Cross Country Moving Experience.

Executive Moving & Storage was very professional and accommodating towards the entire moving experience. They not only quoted me a really good price, but were accountable during the entire process. We never had to worry about our furniture, boxes or antique items being mishandled because of assurances they made from the beginning. I’m able to recommend them because of how they structured this move! Thank you so much.
