2. Long Distance move, use finest mover for a Smaller Bill!

   I first used these Finest Movers when I required moving paint boxes and building accessories from Hartford to Augusta. It was a considerably long distance (over 200 kilometers) and I thought it’ll take thousands of bucks to pay for the move. It was however a relief seeing that these agents offered a considerable discount over the long move. They are certainly the best in the business these days.    I’m not sure if all moving companies have a similar kind of staff but these guys were simply a pleasure to deal with. Professional and polite throughout the move and especially the communication they maintained with me and my wife to consult with every single pattern of the move was incredible. I don’t know when I’m going to have the next move but I’m sure to get back to these guys whenever I feel such a need and I will be asking for Amber to put things together for us again. She was great and a real asset to Finest Movers!

4. Fashion products expertly moved.

   My experience of moving fabrics and clothing cartons from Birmingham to Atlanta turned out to be a pleasant one, courtesy to experienced and dedicated assistance of Finest movers dealers. A distance of 150 miles was traveled keeping the fabrics and glass displays protected well in their normal conditions and without damaging anything. Wonderful service providers without a doubt and eager to please! Thanks Finest movers for the stellar service. I do appreciate the effort.

   Considering the way they offer a free of cost binding estimate, I must say that these movers render marvelous services to their customers. It my first ever case to handle a move and with their professional estimate and insured movement, I remained in a state of relief throughout the process. Good Work Done!

6. Appliances werecarefully Moved.

   Loved the manner Amber advised me in terms of managing the move! I had a number of fragile electronic appliances. I planned to take them in large sized vehicles but Finest Movers experts advised otherwise. They disassembled the appliances, packed them in small space and took it a large distance (The move was supposed to be from Boston to Albany, a distance of around 170 miles). On reaching the destination, the appliances were assembles in no time and everything got done without costing even a minor damage to the instruments.

7. Finest Movers & Movinginsurance.com.

   I have used professional movers more than a dozen times admittedly always for overseas shipments (which you would think were more difficult) but FINEST MOVERS are by far the worst moving company I have ever experienced. I had little or no problems with any of the others I used & have never made a claim. So many things went wrong with this move I can barely begin to detail it however most all of the problems stemmed from their complete lack of communication once the order had been placed & deposit made. They just did not want to discuss anything. I was transferred repeatedly & half the time the calls were dropped. The original estimate they provided was out by 100% ($5.5 initially) they almost doubled the price & you have no right of refusal once they have your shipment loaded. Unless you want it sall unpacked. Although I did add a few additional items I withdrew several also but they still insisted on doubling the cost. Everytime I tried to calll them they would either not answer my call or it went to a machine - no calls were ever returned & I made dozens. Their answers were typically snippy & short and usually I was told to call back later. The van they originally sent was too small to take my shipment & arrived 5 hours late. They returned the next day to finish packing. The van was very old & leaked oil all over my driveway. The shipment was put into storage for 2 months & it took FINEST MOVERS 3 weeks to find a truck to deliver my shipment. The date changed 3 times & until I threatened legal action would have taken even longer. When it was finally delivered I noticed several items damaged  & commented to the movers who told me I had 30 days to detail & photograph everything & submit a claim. I did so but the claim was DENIED because they said it has to be made "within 48hrs"..I had over 100 boxes & other items to unpack & inspect..totally unrealistic to expect anyone to undertake this within 48 hours (espcially provide details & photographs). I had to resubmit everything to the Insurance company (MOVINGINSURANCER.com) recommended by FINEST MOVERS) who told me that FINEST MOVERS would not return their calls..surprise surprise - I could have told them that. The "documentation" provided by FINEST MOVERS was almost illegible & my copy could hardly be read. Bottom line I would not recommend FINEST MOVERS or the Insurance Company to move anything of mine in future & the Insurance was a total waste of money too. A bitter experience & one I hope no one else has to go through. Extremely unprofessional service AFTER deposit made. Once they have your stuff you are totally at their mercy & they know it!  .

   

8. Absolute Worst.

   The pickup of my furniture was one of the worst moving experiences I have ever had.  The intial estimate for my move was 1100 dollars.  That quickly changed when the movers arrived and only after packing their truck with my stuff did they tell me that the price had doubled because of the amount of "cubic feet" of furniture I had.  Obviously, these people have no idea how to calculate cubic feet considering I had to correct them and bring out my tape measure to show them how it's really done.  Not only could the movers not perform basic math calculations critical to the overall price of my move, they would constantly hit on me making me feel incredibly uncomfortable (Any single women moving should have someone with them during pickup).  One of the men even kept repeating how pretty I was and how I needed to promise him to never stop smiling.  VERY UNPROFESSIONAL for a moving company.  As soon as this company took possession of my things they refused to answer any phone calls I made to them dealing with the status of my delivery.  In fact, everytime I called they said someone would call me back and they never did.  So I decided to stay on the phone until someone would speak to me and the woman who answered kept putting me on hold and then would hang up on me.  Finally, my delivery arrived by men who were contracted out from different moving companies.  These men were absolutely amazing and professional and I will make sure to use their company if I ever need movers again.  Unfortunetly, most of my items including my antique loveseat were badly damaged due to the carelessness of "Finest" movers.  The men who dropped my stuff off claimed that this is very common amongst finest movers and that they were surprised that none of my items were stolen.  It was also explained to me how this company rips off their customers with the whole measuring in "cubic feet" ,since most people don't know how to calculate this to begin with.  Bottom line, this company should not be allowed to operate.  Spend your money elsewhere because in the end, anyone is better than Finest Movers.       .

   Before I share my experience with finest movers, I want the readers to relate to the stress one can battle when going through a divorce and moving to a totally new state starting fresh with nothing but a moving truck and 25 years of memories! finding a mover was very difficult for me in my fragile state. what seemed to me like 300 phone calls a day and 1000 emails, I became overwhelmed hearing the same speaches and aggressive desperate attitudes. After going though my daily chore of erasing VM from movers, I literally heard my reps voice from finest movers and felt sincerity and warmth, just what I needed to hear with all this craziness. after reading so many reviews, I wondered how can all of this information be true and still moving companies are used daily and in such high demand. I took a chance and called finest movers back. with my guard up and hesitation, I gave my moving list to the rep that left the vm. all I can say about my rep is that she is a DREAM! I feel so lucky that I went with my instinct and called her back after so many calls. from the moment we started talking about the move, she became so personal in the sense of getting to know my situation and budget that it gave off the impression that I was on the phone with a family member that happens to work for a mover. she was very persistant in explaining to me the possible side charges (packing materials, extra large items, handling fee, stairs etc) based on my conversation, she told me I had 72 hours before to confirm everything I closed with her.. even with all that I going on, I knew inorder for me not to have those horrible experiences people post about, I hadddd to do my job and confirm everything on my end. Thank G-d she sent me a copy of the articles that I was moving, becaue it kept me organized when packing. I basically scratched off what I was selling and wrote on same form what I saw extra and needed to add. overall, my price went up 275 as expected bc I knew that I wanted my t.v, glass shelves for my china cabinet and some boxes packed. I would suggest to readers that as long as you go over all of the details of possible charges and confirm what you originally based your move off of, do your job by communicating with your rep and I don't see a problem. I understand that movers can be [EDIT] sometimes, but its a 2 way street, if you don't communicate or understand, that's what we pay top dollar for these guys to help us understand.. im in tx now starting over and thanks to finest movers I had a great fresh start!! def keeping your number close and sending anyone in need of a mover your way.

10. Everything DAMAGED.

    The only positive I can say is they were on time and worked with me on trasporting my things.  They destroyed every single item I have and told me to file with "insurance."  I did and never heard another word from them.  All of my possessions were totally ruined and I have had to start over.  Some were collectors items that cannot be replaced.  I filed a complaint with the Fort Lauderdale BBB and they did nothing.  BEWARE..  maybe local moves are ok, but don't do a long distance move and expect your things.

11. Poor Customer Service.

    This company was late with pickup and deleivery, several items were damaged or missing.  When I filed a claim for damage and missing items it took 3 months for them to send me an offer.  I returned the signed offer and it has been sitting at the post office in their city for a week.  I sent two emails and made a call to their office regarding the letter and they still has not picked it up and they had a week to pick up the letter.

12. Fine work!

    I just used Finest Movers to move my daughter from Florida to Washington. The idea of her moving to the opposite side of the country was scary enough, but then after doing some research on line about moving companies, what I was reading scared me even more. I was very careful of who I selected to do the move for her. After receiving quotes form a lot of companies I settled on Finest Movers. Over all I am very glad that I did. She was not moving a lot of stuff, and United Transport was the best price that I got to do the move. they showed up to pick up her belongings right when they said they would, and showed up to do the delivery right when they said they would. There were no surprises in the move, no hidden fees. Everything was explained right up front. Whenever she decides to move back to Florida I will defiantly be using Finest Movers.

    Hey, I just wanted to write this review and let everyone know about the great experience I had with Finest Movers, and that I would definitely use them again if I need to move, and would recommend them to anyone looking to move. from start to finish they were great, I put my information out on the internet to get free moving quotes, which I have to say, was a mistake to do, I was overwhelmed with phone calls and people pushing for my business, it was so overwhelming, but that said, I did receive a call from finest movers, and the sales rep Amber was very kind, and I didn’t feel like I was being pressured into anything. He was very calm and explained everything to me, helped me out answered all my questions (unlike the other companies). So he gave me an estimate and set up my pickup date. The men arrived to do my pick up right when they said they would. My price was a little bit more when they got to my house, but the driver (who was so friendly) explained why it was more and that I had extra cubic feet and more pieces. I wasn’t to thrown off by it, I had a feeling that I would have more. So, they loaded my belongings and transported them to storage for 30 days (which they gave me for free) while I worked out all the detail with my new home. When I was ready they sent my belongings out for delivery and they arrived right in the time frame of when they said it would. They put everything in the appropriate rooms and reassembled everything. all in all it was a great move, and I will defiantly use them again if I have to move.

    I recently moved with Finest movers From Philadelphia to Miami Florida, I wanted to write this review to thank them for the amazing job that they did. From start to finish they were very helpful and professional. My original quote was about $300 lower then what I wound up paying at the time of pick-up, but I did add a few more pieces of furniture to my move right before they arrived. That didn’t bother me; the driver stopped and explained the additional cubic feet and I understood exactly where the new price came from. In addition my belongings arrived in Florida right in the delivery time frame that I was told they would with no damages or missing items. This was over all a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone looking to move.

15. Fine job.

    These guys knocked it out the park. packed me up and loaded my 2 bedroom house in 7 hours and the price was great. They won in price and I was a little nervous that the service would reflect that but the move  exceeded my every expectation. I will be using Fines Movers again.
