  1. Do Not Use!

    DO NOT USE!
This was the most horrible experience I have ever had in over 20 moves around the world with military and since retiring! From the original quote, through "you have different size items than what we expected," to "here's your new cost and must be paid upfront since it's loaded" , to "we have a twelve day window and will contact you the night before for delivery or storage charges will be added and must be paid BEFORE delivery", to here's the best one from the operations manager Dan Dabrowski "my guys on-site made a math error and it is now $406 more that must be paid before off-loading and if you don't agree, I will cancel the delivery, and more storage fees will be added and you need to contact someone else for a new delivery date!" And "who is your boss, I don't have one!" When in fact the $406 was a price matching discount John Garcia the sales rep gave "in writing" which obviously doesn't matter! And try to talk to someone throughout the process and after is not happening! Totally Unethical, Rude, and Dishonest!

  2. I will be more than happy to use them again.

This company has great movers and this company could not have given me a better service from start till finish. I am very happy I CHOSE TO MOVE WITH THIS COMPANY!
They took care of our stuff as if it was their own. Highly professional, courteous, and helpful. One of the movers worked with me until I was completely satisfied. They completed the move in a timely manner. I will be more than happy to use them again in the future.

  3. One of worst experiences in my life..

I hired Hercules Moving Systems to move my 2 bedroom apartment from CA to CO. I read through the information and talked with the representative several times and made a very detailed list of all the items in my house and gave detailed measurements of items since they needed to know the cubic feet since that is what they charge by, even doing calculations of cubic feet of boxes. I only had 4 medium boxes that were added last minute that weren't on the list. However, when they came and loaded they stated that I was over their estimated cubit footage by about 150 ft3 once my items were on the truck. They wanted to charge me over $600 more than my official quote. I stated that all but 4 boxes were on the list, and they agreed to come down on price a little, but wouldn't give me what I was quoted or just allow me just to pay for the extra boxes which I was upfront about before they started loading. However, it states in the initial paperwork/contract that you will be charged 'only for items not on the list.' There wasn't much I could do with my items loaded already. I had even talked with the Hercules's representative prior to loading, and he assured me that since I had been so thorough with my list that I shouldn't this problem. I did end up calling the company or whoever handles disputes for Hercules, for Hercules only picks up your stuff then other companies take over (which I was also told didn't happen). I told them the situation after getting the run-around from several people. They did review my case, and I continued to get the answer of 'I will contact you tomorrow' for several days in a row. I then got a call stating that I wouldn't receive a new amount, however, about 10min later another agent called and stated they would give me about $140 off and gave me a new amount to pay on pick up which I verified over the phone three times. So I purchased my money order. Then the paperwork they sent to change the amount stated a different amount. The initial amount that was estimated was $2183 and they ended up making me pay a total of $2675. By my estimates the 4 boxes should have only costs me $50.  By the end of this I was so frustrated that I was just tired of fighting with the company and its representatives.  I feel that others should know that this company is not honest even if they reassure you it is, and you should just plan on extra cost even if you are detailed in your list of items. I was contacted by the moving company and was told that they were to deliver my items between Thursday and Monday. I was also told they would contact me the day before but couldn't let me know a more precise time and this was after about 1 week of having my items and I was just waiting for them. It kind of ruined my weekend since we thought they could come any day. However, they never called during that time frame. I called them to ask and a couple of times and they said it was on its way and couldn't give any more information then afterward I called again they said it hadn't left the warehouse. They then called on Monday, and delivered on Tuesday one day late.   Another issue was that Hercules stated that they had their own trucks and didn't contract out, but that was exactly what they did. For another company dealt with dispatching the trucks and another company delivered my items late. Also several items were damaged with dents or broken with no apology.   I wish to have an apology since they were dishonest and gave false information that made my weekend awful and they delivered late.

  4. Run While You Can.

Before you call Hercules READ these reviews. If there was a way to rate them zero stars, I would. They are liars, thieves and scam artists.  DO YOURSELF A FAVOR.. as Barney Fife used to say "Use your head man it's common knowledge"My wife and I used them to move to Hawaii from Ohio, and we used them because they were cheaper than all the rest. RUN AWAY WHILE YOU CAN ITS NOT WORTH IT! First they lied to us about when they were going to pick up our things in Ohio and told us several times "we'll be there in a few days" which turned into a few weeks.  Then when our stuff arrived on Oahu they called our disconnected phone number several times and never called our new number in Hawaii. a 3 days ago and told us that we owed an additional $570 (a months storage) because we didn't call them.  They told us that we had one hour to claim our household goods, if we did not it went into storage for a minimum 1 month fee. They also treated us like trash!  They have no customer service at all, why? Because they don't serve the customers. If you get scammed by these horrible people it's your own fault.  We didn't look for review either so don't feel too badTake them to court, and post your reviews everywhere you can. Facebook,http://www.ripoffreport.…  and anywhere else you can.. please!

  5. False bid.

I Good day I’m filing a complaint against Hercules moving systems. I will be submitting approximately 12 emails between my wife and I and Hercules representative Alex her email address is alex@herculesmovingsystem.com. I agreed to use Hercules after several phone calls and numerous e mails to which the subject was a binding bid for my move. I contacted several companies who responded to my email request for quotes. All of the companies priced their moves by total weight, they offered binding bids and I could be present for the weighing of my goods and if the weight exceeded the bid completed by a in home estimate done by their employee my price would not go up. Hercules Moving also responded to my e mail. Alex the representative informed my wife that her company did not need to send someone to do a home estimate if we would send her our estimate. My wife emailed one estimate that showed approximately 1900 cubic feet I emailed the second estimate that showed approximately 1650 cubic feet. Based on these estimates and a list of items we had boxed up, I measured the boxes H x W x L then used the formula to calculate the cubic foot total of my boxes which were less boxes than on the estimate and we removed several items from the list. This list was emailed to Alex. Alex provided us with several estimates that read binding bid or estimate and the bids stated I could be charged 4.25 per cubic foot for items NOT listed on the bid. I contacted Alex just prior to our pick up date to inform her that we were twelve additional boxes over count about 15 cubic feet. On the 28thof July the movers arrived and started wrapping and disassembling our furniture. They arrived in a 26 foot truck, I researched the cu ft. of a truck this size per Penski rentals there 26 foot trucks are 1600 cu ft. of storage, budget who has 24 foot trucks 1300 cu ft. About have way through the process the foreman of the crew contacted my wife and presented her with a new estimate that raised the price of our move by 1500 dollars. Per the foreman he visually looked at what we were moving and to quote him based on my knowledge of the job he determined we had three hundred cu Ft. more and raised the price by the 1500 dollars. He did show me that he was not going to charge me 150 for my refrigerator and the same amount for my washer and dryer per the fine print of the contract. This was a take it or leave it offer. My situation was its Sunday a professional cleaning company was scheduled for Monday, the carpet cleaners were Tuesday, keys returned to Management Company Wednesday family on flight that evening to Florida. I had no means to hire a different company and this bid the original bid was not that much higher than renting two trucks from Penski one 26 footer and one 16 footer if necessary and hiring moving buddies I think there called an affiliate of Penski who can provide drivers and other assistance 888-522-6710. In all due respect if a company is charging by cubic foot once the truck is loaded it would be easy to get a very accurate price by measuring the truck and doing the formula. Hercules bid the job low to secure the bid providing misleading emails, lies to do so, then simply raise the cost significantly but within the other bids totals. Remember I got a break on the fine print costs. Please look into this as I’ve began looking into moving bids I’m reading a lot of horror stories, also my wife asked Alex about the negative reviews we found on Hercules Moving Systems, she personally contacted both of us by phone to assure us the information was incorrect and she could provide a binding bid. The last email I received from Alex when I complained about this behavior was I might get a call from a manager, did not happen.

  6. Horrible.

This is absolutely the worse moving company ever! This a sham of a company that is not focused on the customer.  If you need your furniture to arrive at its destination please do not use this company. No sense of urgency and  no customer service skills. I have seen monkey [EDIT] fights at zoo better organized than is company. I will make sure I spread the word.

  7. I recommend them.

    1.      I was really struggling to choose a company to help us move and I finally decided on Hercules. My wife and I are really happy with our decision. I called them up about a month or so before we needed to move. They quoted us around the same as the other companies but their service was great. There was a little time mix up and they showed up a little late but all was well once they loaded everything up. Our stuff showed up to our new house on time, nothing was broken but a few boxes where smooched. If we ever have to move again we will use Hercules again. I recommend them.

  8. I have ever had. From one happy customer. ThX HERCULES !!

Lucky me. I needed to move again. So I called several companiesThen I remembered I used Hercules Moving some years back. I did not know if they are still in business. I found them on YELP.  I found few harsh reviews, but it did not stop me. I had a good experience before. MIKE answered and was very nice on the phone. So I figured, why not try them yet once again.
They did not disappoint me. This time I had 3 guys, simply too much stuff. Price was at very reasonlble level @79/hour - that's still the lowest rate we could find anyway. Especially at the end of the month. I hear some companies raise it quite a bit. But since I already used them, I thought I will not risk and get another mover. Last time was great. I called and was quoted as much as $1000 for 3 by other moving co's.
We used Hercules to move all my large stuff and to pack the kitchen: glass, dishes, food,& stuff. They charge me  only $290 for fuel which was fair, going to SIMI VALLEY , that was a big 26 footer. They wrapped all my stuff: dressers, mattresses, couches, chairs, so that they don't get scratched or damaged.  Yuval and the guys took extra care of our stuff and not one single thing was damaged.  We had many fine pieces of furniture and fragile items too, since we had many unopened wedding gifts and such. They took extra care. I also had guitar, amps, and an upright. This was hands down the best moving experience I have ever had. From one happy customer. ThX HERCULES !!
     .

  9. Good job guys.

I am surprise who in the heaven would give you guys negative review my experience with this company was so excellent the customer. they helped my company to move all the stuff from one shop to the other in less then an hour . I did not have to waste my time . thank you guys.

  10. Recommend them to everyone!!

Gustavo and joe team were amazing!! Weused Hercules in December, and they did so great we used them again when we had to move last minute because of a job relocation. They were able to empty our apartment, a storage unit, and a garage all from the Valley to Huntington Beach. They were fast and careful with our boxes. We will be using them again & recommend them to everyone!!

  11. I had another fantastic and inexpensive move thanks to Hercules.

My boyfriend and I used Adept for our big move and we are completely satisfied and happy with them. Raul, their manager was sure to let me know we would be happy, and indeed I was. There were no hidden fees, no hiccups in our move at all. The guys were super efficient and got everything done without denting or damaging anything like some movers. It was affordable, especially with the yelp deal. I've moved many times, and this past move with Hercules has definitely been the best by far. Make sure you reserve ahead of time, as they get very busy quick!!

  12. Highly recommended by a friend.

An incredible job!! They came highly recommended by a friend who had used them in the past and I was not disappointed at all. I had called around for quotes and Hercules Movers were very reasonably priced. The movers were actually early and were incredibly efficient. Everything was wrapped and moved to the truck within 20 minutes. I would suggest Hercules Movers to anyone who is moving.

  13. The team showed up right on schedule.

Reservations: Slightly odd. It was more difficult to make the reservation over the phone speaking with someone than booking it on-line would have been. I asked for a 10am slot and I got a call back trying to push our move into the late afternoon. We eventually settled on a time that worked for both of us so no harm no foul.Punctuality: No problems whatsoever. The team showed up right on schedule.Professionalism: These guys don't mess around. The second they enter your premises they start breaking down, wrapping, lifting, loading and getting business done. Take your time is not in these guys's vocabulary. You may spend days, weeks and even months packing everything up and they will make you look like a total amateur with how quickly they get everything out of the old place and into the new.Attitude: Very hard working with an occasional splash of dry witty humor.Price: I didn't do too much comparison shopping, but this company was on the high end. On the flip side they are so efficient and effective that it balances it out. You won't feel like you were milked for every extra billable hour. I was happy to pay the rate plus a big tip at the end of the experience. Conclusion: Worth every penny. They broke a job that would have taken me friends family from dawn to dusk down to a few hours. This was a huge weight off of my shoulders and let me focus on everything else that I had to prepare and take care of. I would recommend this service to anyone moving in the future: find a way to work it into your move budget!

  14. Thank you to Hercules.

Thank you to Hercules!  I thought they were incredible.  Moving from Los Angeles to Agoura Hills with a total of 4 stops, my very ambitious boyfriend thought him and his buddy could handle all of our stuff.  7 hours later, we're exhausted, his friend has to leave, we have a couch stuck in our hallway and a 26 foot UHAUL full of all of our belongings with hardly anything moved out..and the UHAUL needs to be returned by midnight.   Exhausted and out of options I desperately called Hercules.  Within an hour and a half, they had a 3 man crew out at our place busting butt for the next 2.5 hours.  Only 2.5 hours to move into our four story walk-up, mind you this truck took us 8 hours to pack up ourselves.   They salvaged our move and were there in a pinch.  The movers were very delicate with all of our furniture, walls, hallways, etc.  Incredibly professional and practically running up the 4 flights of stairs the entire time.  The only time they paused was when I was forcing them to drink more water (of course it was 95 degrees and humid out).     THANK YOU!

  15. I had a very good experience.

I did a TON of research before making my move from San Francisco to Florida and I am very happy with the service Hercules Moving Systems provided.I was only moving about 1 bedroom's worth of stuff and didn't want to break the bank on this move. The "big" companies gave me quotes around $3600, which was more than my stuff was worth! The sketchy companies that give you quotes from the internet (DON'T USE THEM) gave me quotes under $1000. Hercules Moving Systems quoted me around 2,500 and the offered me a flat-rate quote (I could have done one based off of weight if I wanted). My estimator, AVI, was friendly but very honest. Example -- At one point, he told me that one item I wanted to move was not worth it -- he explained that it would cost a lot, because it was heavy AND it was the kind of thing that breaks in cross-country moves. He didn't have to say this, and his company would have made extra money if we'd tried to move the item.AVI stuck with me for the entire pre-moving process. I asked him about a million annoying questions and pestered him endlessly. I even changed my inventory multiple times at the last minute. In hindsight, I was probably a pain in the [EDIT] to deal with. Still, every request was responded to promptly and accurately. On move-out day, the crew of guys arrived (Augustine and the two Joses) and got right to work. My apartment had a CRAZY stairwell, and the guys managed to get my large and awkward furniture out without messing up the building's paint job. They packed and wrapped all of my furniture really well and we very courteous and professional. I had asked the guys at Hercules Moving Systems to hold my belongings in storage for about 20 days before sending them out so that I'd have time to find an apartment. They agreed and gave me a 10 day delivery window (the way these guys move your stuff cheaply is to pack it into a huge 18-wheeler with other people's moves -- so the truck doesn't leave until it's full..hence the window). The only bump in the process came with the delivery of the items. I was under the impression that I'd get a call one week prior to delivery. Once the middle of the window rolled around, I called in to the company and found out that I would actually only get a ONE DAY warning before my stuff arrived. This was less than ideal. The next day, before my new apartment was ready, I got a call from the truck driver saying he was ready to deliver THAT EVENING. Luckily, he was very nice and was able to hold off for two days and I had enough time to get everything ready. The truck that arrived was from a moving company that Hercules Moving Systems had contracted with to complete the transportation of my stuff. I have heard that sometimes this is where problems pop up, but I had no such issues. The guys were able to back the HUGE truck into a really tight spot and then very quickly and carefully unloaded everything.Overall, I had a very good experience and would not hesitate to use Hercules Moving Systems if I'm ever moving within Northern California again.
