    Relocating from England to France.
    My husband and I would like to say a very big thank you to all the people who own and work at Movecorp International in Aldridge. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with you all and the carrying out of the move at both ends was outstanding. Your employees did an excellent job from start to finish and we are so pleased we chose your company to undertake our relocation. We must say, and it is very rare now, how nice it was to receive such excellent customer service and we wish you every success for the future.

    How do you move the entire contents of a flat from Wimbledon to America? Call Movecorp, get a brilliant quote, instruct them and just sit back and take it easy. I must say that you exceeded my expectations and I feel a bit guilty now about haggling over the price but that’s businessmen, always trying to do a deal. The information you provided and the courtesy of the staff was first class, the guys were hardworking and careful and the move was perfect. I will certainly recommend you to family, friends and business associates.

  3. Uk to Bulgaria - very disappointing.

    An extremely disappointing service. The move was in fact from the UK to Bulgaria, but the drop down menu doesn't offer that option. Communication regarding the pickup of my furniture was poor and last minute.The guys who came to collect however were good and efficient. I booked with Movecorp as I was assured the move would be made in 7-10 days of collection, max. This turned out to be a fiction. Like others who have posted here, I was told that my furniture 'didn't fit' and so was held up for two weeks. Considering the total capacity I was moving was a mere 6 cubic metres, I was surprised. I had arranged to be in Bulgaria to coincide with the predicted arrival of the goods with plenty of time either side in case of some hiccups, but ultimately had to return to the UK without the goods being delivered. When they were delivered, they were damaged, despite the fact that, both the guys who collected the furniture, and (apparently) the man who delivered it commented on how well wrapped the items were. Communication with me was poor - I had to do all the chasing up. The insurance cover proved to be useless and an 'apology for any inconvenience' was all that was offered. Well it was extremely inconvenient from the outset - and I would not recommend this company nor use them for future removals. They were swift and efficient in only one area: collecting their money upfront.

  4. Unacceptable.

    I moved Uk ,(Bedford) by the end of June to leave in Thailand.(no option to fill the right destination on the questionnaire)My belonging were pick up by middle of June and I'm still waiting for them. cutting long story in short, after 6 weeks being in Thailand myself I was promised that it would be arriving by the 19th of August In the port at Bangkok. 2 weeks later,not having any phone call or updates I've decided to investigated with my team to find out that the goods never left Uk!! After me chasing for some updates this afternoon, I received an explanation like my "belongings did not fit at the time" "there due to be loading by the end of this week" "will give you a firm delivery date".. I'm very very disappointed about this full experience and I hope that my goods are safe and in good conditions,I'm glad I've insured my goods. I never complaint about anything but this is just too much,and if I would be the person in charge I would like to know about it in order to improve certain area and avoid this to happen to others.     I would like to say that my family miss England but that would be a lie. Australia is out of this world and we would like to thank you and everyone on your staff for how effortlessly and perfectly the move was handled. Our items were carefully wrapped and handled and arrived without any damage. All the communication was clear, complete and timely as was the correspondence. Phone calls were polite and professional and everyone we dealt with were wonderful. We would recommend you to anyone wanting a great move carried out at a fair and realistic price, other companies who did not get our business take note.

    I recently moved from London to Edinburgh and got three quotes. Movecorp were more competitive on price given that I had requested that they hold onto my contents for a day post pick up (In order that I could finish clean of the flat). The sales team communicated well and the team who came were very friendly And pretty efficient. There was a breakage of a glass and two hats were damaged Because of packing. However Overall I would definitely recommend them.

  7. Effortless and enjoyable.

    The service that the company provided from the first stage of getting a quote, packing, collection and delivery was absolutely amazing. My wife was quite worried about our belongings being moved around 2000 miles plus by other people as we had always self moved before. But she accepted the fact that I was not going to drive a van/lorry to Madeira, packing and unpacking to boot at my age and enjoy it. Better still your whole teams support, service and understanding together with your professionalism made the whole move effortless and quite enjoyable. Add a price that was we feel was exceptional for the service provided and you can be assured that you will definitely be the first and only company I use in the future.

    I still cannot believe that you moved all our belongings from sleepy old Cherwell, Oxford to Siracusa, Italy in 12 days! The whole move carried out efficiently, safely and at a fantastic price. You may recall I asked you twice to confirm the price and was only convinced when you confirmed it in writing. Anyway I would just like to thank you for carrying out a great job and everything arrived without any problems. You've been fantastic throughout the entire move process. I would recommend you without hesitation to anyone doing an overseas move.

    Apologies for the delay in reviewing our move but we have been so busy exploring our new surroundings it completely slipped our minds. What can we say about the move and process except that it was first class and professional. You were really reassuring throughout all the chaos and stress of organising the shipping, really helpful and patient when we always seemed to be asking questions and we are both so glad that we chose Movecorp to carry out our move. Everything was moved expertly, professionally and above all carefully. And it seems that no sooner had our belongings been loaded and everything was in your hands than it was delivered in Australia and all the worries seemed a distant memory. Thank you once again.

    My wife and I would like to thank Movecorp for all their help in carrying out our recent move. Whilst moving from one country to another is inevitably complicated, we have moved twelve times in twenty years so we we know that very well, Movecorp made it all happen smoothly and kept us well informed of progress. The packing was excellent, the execution faultless and the overall experience this time was outstanding. We have had some terrible moves over the years and the other companies in the market could learn a great deal from yourselves. An outstanding service and thoroughly recommended.

    I would like to express our sincere thanks for the professional and caring way in which you carried out our recent move to Italy. My sister raved about how good you were when you moved her from her house in Cambridge to America and could not recommend you highly enough and I am glad to say that she was right. From the first contact I made in March to the arrival of our belongings in Turin, the service was exceptional. Even having to delay the move for several months after a problem with our buyer I still felt that the firm was understanding and was committed to giving us the best service. Good old hubby missed all this as he had to start his new job in May no matter what so it was probably better that we handled it. Brilliant service by a brilliant company.

    If ever a company deserved praise this is the company. We first contacted Movecorp on Friday the 3rd of February 2012 to obtain a quote for our upcoming move to Spain. The volume, price, pick up and delivery date were agreed with James the sales director and a date was also agreed for the dropping off of packing boxes and accessories. If only the Spanish government, legal system and builders worked as efficiently!!
    Fast forward 542 days and at long last we are settled, we hope, in our new apartment and looking forward to enjoying our retirement. Yes 542 days of problems with builders not working to plan or timescales, the government going round and round in circles and never seeming to be able to sort any problem or answer any question, the Association of Registrars who feel that doing a google translation from Spanish to English is sufficient. Trying to get answers about the land that the new development had been built on was like guessing what was in your lucky bag 50 years ago. Surely if land has been grabbed back by the government, and the owner has to pay for that privilege, surely the government or builder have some records confirming this will never happen again? Lastly the legal system that is so complicated and slow that except for the fact that is concerns you would be classed as Keystone coppish. And where were Movecorp throughout all of these 542 days? Patiently waiting, advising, rearranging and securely storing our belongings on site.
    I stand to be corrected but I have worked it out that we arranged nine different delivery dates before the tenth was actually confirmed and carried out. No complaints from Movecorp, no additional charges for delays, no increase in the agreed cost, no charge for the part repacking that was cancelled 48 hours before the seventh moving date confirmation. Whilst I can see the point that some customers make about date changes, cancellations or increases on this website, I do feel that you have to consider that some things are just out of your control and you have to try and work it out the best you can. Movecorp were absolutely superb in my opinion and when you consider that they are carrying out 600 plus moves per month, I feel obliged to write this review to highlight just how good they are and compliment them on how few negative reviews they get considering how many customers expectations they exceed which is shown in the majority of positive comments on different sites.

    Everything went great. The shipment got here safe and sound and I was really impressed with how everything was handled. If a call was needed to explain a process or answer a question the service received was both professional and efficient. I got to say that the difference between yourselves and other companies I have used is the personal service you give.   Your guys give their name immediately and you can tell they are confident and want to do an awesome job no matter what. Feels weird at first to think you are a valued customer with a name rather than a job sheet number. Will use you again no doubt.    .

  14. Relocation to Munich.

    We were absolutely delighted with the service you and your team provided and really appreciated the speedy responses and making the process seem so easy and simple. Your wrapping and packing service was worth every penny and showed in the final unpacking by ourselvses. Everything thing was wrapped so well that there were no breakages at all and my husband is now converted to let the professionals do it, seems the moaning that I have carried out during our last six moves has finally worked. Thank you for all your help and consideration.

  15. Very poor communicators.

    I moved from the UK to the USA (the drop down is not allowing me to put in the right destination). The pickup was two hours late and I wasn't called. The boxes are now anticipated at  15 weeks until delivery. Yet, they never contacted me and when I contacted them (at about 7 weeks) I found out for the first time that the shipment was still in the UK. I was then told that it was going to be loaded next week. When I contacted them at 9 weeks I then found out it had not been loaded. I then complained about lack of communication and got an email back that did not address those concerns but simply said that the shipment would be made within the original estimate of 8-12 weeks. A week after that email I got another with an estimated deilvery date of 15 weeks. I can only hope that it will come then. I understand that these delivery times are just estimates, but I would expect that when the shipment is going to be outside of the estimated time they would be eager to communicate at each step. The price was fine - within the range of all the movers I contacted - at the low end. .
