Terrible experience
Great response from the sales team when booking. Movers arrived and immediately said the quote was wrong and then wanted to double the price. After several calls with very slow response from National Express and the third party mover we agreed to the 5K increase because we were on a deadline to move. Once new price was agreed to they started pressuring us for cash only. We told them we would go purchase a money order and they kept pressuring us for cash. Third party mover Pelican Moving out of Gretna La was very dishonest and ill prepared. National does not back you up when the third party vendors pressure you for more money. Paid for full Pack/Load and Move again they were not prepared and said they could not move dishes or anything breakable. They had no packing materials on board so again ill prepared.
I would recommend them!
If you're moving I recommend National Express Movers. They're very efficient and reasonably priced. It's not an easy thing moving but this company made it a lot easier! Super nice guys, very helpful, they even took out my clothes and hung them up in the closet!

I will look for you, yet again and there is no second thought about that. You guys helped a lot when I needed you the most. They charged me very reasonably and their movers were competent and with the right motivation.
Great work
It’s not an easy process to select a long-distance moving company. We went online to find out a few tips on where to start. This is an incredibly busy time of year and we wanted to make sure we would get our furniture fast and in the same condition, it left in. They are the company to keep. Happy we worked with them and even happier to pass the name along.
Quick and efficient movers
They arrived on time, wrapped everything and got my move done in great time and nothing was damaged. Friendly staff from the office staff to movers. Shout out to the crew for taking such great care of everything.
National Express Moving (NEM) are crooks and Liars
NEM is a dishonest company served by third party movers who are scammers. In April I contracted with NEM to move my belongs from Virginia to Florida. NEM's Clark Donahue quoted me a price of $5,100 after I provided him a list of the things to be moved. He prepared the estimate and I signed the contract and wired NEM a deposit of $2,100. As the move date approached I tried to contact NEM by phone and email. Got no response until three days before the move date. Clark Donahue was no longer with NEM (probably in jail) and spoke with Adam Barnes. Adam went over my NEM prepared inventory and I added some items... two end tables, grandfather clock, and two dining room chairs. Adam said my "square footage had changed' and they needed an additional $1,100for a total of$6,200. Reluctantly, I agreed. NEM is NOT a moving company!! They are a moving "broker" which means they do not move anything, they subcontract to a third party moving company. In my case it was a company named "Out of State Movers" from New Jersey. They are scammers as well. When they arrived they looked around the house and said NEM has underestimated the "square footage" and they wanted $13,600 to move my things! I called NEM and they said there was nothing they could do since they were not affiliated with Out of State Movers, nor could I get my deposit back because I had "cancelled" the move. Stay away from NEM and ALL moving brokers. Your first question in looking for a "moving company" should be "Are you a broker or an actual moving company with trucks and employees?" If they are a broker...run away as fast as you can... do not listen to their sweet talk about being 5 star rated, B+ rating by the BBB or anything else they have to say... if you contract with them you will be sorry and out a lot of money. Don't believe any of the recommendations on their reviews... I suspect they are rigged as well. You can believe me...I'm giving you solid advice.

Peter and his team did an amazing job today. Everything was perfect. They work hard, fast and with caution. I did my previous moving by myself but never again. Thank you and I will hire you next time again.

Our manager for the move was so helpful after the move and followed up on a few small concerns she was the main reason I booked with National movers. I had quoted my move at another place but her customer service was excellent.
Total Disaster
I booked National Express 4 months in advance; they did not arrive during my requested pickup window & I was forced to cancel the day of - I will probably need to go to court to get my deposit back. The people who work there seem nice but the competence just isn't there - please avoid the pain & suffering that I did and go with a real moving carrier - not a broker.
Great Service!
They were very fast, polite and helpful movers. They knew what they were doing. Booking was also very easy to work with and they were able to provide insurance forms for the move as well. One of the least stressful moves I've ever had; would absolutely recommend these guys.
I recommend them
They were on time and carefully wrapped and unwrapped my wood furniture and reinforced my boxes with more tape. They also used one of their own large boxes for my random, loose items. You can't beat the price and I really shopped around - there were 3 guys which makes it’s much faster than some places that use just two.
They were quick and efficient
The response time made communication a breeze and your professionalism made the move so easy. At the destination they asked where everything should be put and rebuilt everything incredibly efficiently.

The first time we ever hired movers and I have to say the experience was beyond amazing. They did an exceptional job of helping my wife and I move. I had a 3 man crew led by Micheal who were all very professional, quick and careful with our belongings. They went above and beyond to make move easy for us.
I will not hesitate to call them again
The supervisor explained all the charges before the job began, and asked us many questions about where to put furniture. Movers were, fast, careful and polite. This was a very stressful move for various reasons but they handled it so well.

They offered a very good price particularly and were right on-time. Also they got me the COI for my management company right away which made the whole process easy. All my clothes got to the destination safe, no scratches on furniture. They disassembled and reassembled everything like it was before.
