Life Savers!!
My move was a complete mess before National Moving group. I had no idea how much boxes weighed or even how much I could pack into a truck. I was going to order a U-haul and estimate. I figured it was only a couple hours drive away, my husband and I could handle it ourselves. But by the time we got to packing we realized it would be too difficult to do ourselves. So I looked up a couple places and found National Moving group. I called just for a free quote to see how much at least a team of movers would cost us. The $1950 quote was way below my expected price. It may sound like a lot but for a driver and a team of movers to do a hard day's worth of labor, it was practically a steal. I called back later to receive my binding estimate and pickup window. There was no pickup window, just a set time. I was told to expect a quality assurance call about a week prior to September 22nd, our move day, and the call was mainly about if I had anything else to declare or change my mind on anything. The movers got there around noon and there were 6 men including the driver who helped the others move. They worked quick and had it all ready to go. My truck was small so I was to be the only delivery that was in there, no sharing for me! We drove to my new home in Albany, and the movers were there and everything was unpacked by that night. 1 day move! Practically unheard of. But then again I did move across state lines but Hartford to Albany isn't exactly a trek. Thank you National for all the help, I really don't know what I would've done without those guys!
Simple and Quick.
National Moving Group is a broker. Which is what I wanted. Time is money. I had next to no time to call a bunch of places to get a quoted and try to figure out possibilities based on internet research. I would rather talk to a professional. I thought the point of a broker is to get you the best deal possible. It actually saved me a lot of time, in finding a company and for the truck to get to the location quickly, cause they were local. I called with my amount to be moved ready. We arranged a move day and we spoke more about my options. They called only once before the move to confirm my day and amount. Everything was correct. My money was well spent. They hooked me up with a great team who were local to Jersey. The guys had everything loaded safely and the driver from what I saw was really cautious. The truck got to Rochester 5 days later and all of it was there and unharmed. I can't speak for everyone who uses National but I had no issue whatsoever. .
Do not use this company!
Most if not all of these positive reviews are probably fake.Do not use this company. The quotes may sound great but you will probably end up paying much more in the log run or loose your deposit. If you have issues(multiple issues in my case) they will not issue you a refund on your deposit even if nothing is moved and they will fight you tooth and nail to hang on to your hard earned money. Use a reputable company like Mayflower or United Van Lines. We had issues with them more than once(for the same move) and ended up going with mayflower. The customer service is much better. They will send out an agent to your home to get a detailed quote and inventory list. There drivers are much more friendly and professional.Do your research and think when was last time you seen a National Moving Group truck out on the highway? You didn't and probably never will. They are broker and will send a company like Moving Express(In my Case) to your house. Ever heard of them? Probably not. The drivers I got from Moving Express continually talked to each other in a foreign language in front of us, showed up in a rental truck and demanded an obscene amount of extra money($3300 on top of our initial estimate of ~$2750), and/or charge you fixed rate when it is supposed to be charged on weight(second time they came out).Still fighting to get refunded from this place and will continue to fight. In the meantime I will continue to share our terrible experience with this company where ever we can.
Fast and Easy.
When we moved from Florida to Alabama we knew we would need help. I spent weeks researching moving companies. I got email quotes and quotes over the phone for weeks. The guys at National had the best rate. But I was worried about that old saying that you get what you pay for. Boy was I wrong. They did a fantastic job. They took care of our entire household. They loaded up everything. My husband and I didn't have to do much. National did a great job. The man that was our rep called a few weeks later just to check on us. They are a very nice company with very nice people.
Fast and Easy.
I found National Moving Group online. They emailed me over a quote. I called and Matt the salesman walked me through the process. He even told me where I could find boxes and packing materials. I had never hired a moving company before so I was a little nervous. The movers came on moving day and I wasn't ready yet. They were very helpful and patient and they hepled me get all my stuff packed up. Nothing really got damaged in the move. I get it that boxes move en route but even that didn't cause too much damage. These guys did a good job. I would use them again and I would recommend them to friends and family in the future.
Wonderful Movers.
I was online literally for 2 days looking for a moving company, I came across this website and found this company national moving group. They had some mixed reviews but the good out weighed the bad, I decided to give them a call. After speaking to preston for 20 minutes, I had a mover set up and ready to pick me up the transaction was pretty easy. The day of pick up went wonderful John the dispatcher called me and let me know the movers were a few hours away and to get ready for them. When the driver knocked on my door I was excited they had their big truck sitting infront of my house and in 3 hours they were completed. The movers were great just as preston has promised me. I am so very happy I chose National Moving group. Give them a try if your looking for a good moving company.

The Best Movers Ever.
I was moving back home to kentucky, after living 5 years in pasedena I missed my country living. I made up my mind and said its time to go back home I went online and started looking for movers, I came across national moving when I called they transferred me to a guy named greg he was my sales guy, he assured me everything will go well and did a quote for me. when the movers showed up at my door they started working their hearts out in 3 hours my 2 bedroom house was loaded on the truck and out. very good company if your looking for a good moving company at the right price these are the guys. Thanks alot for helping a country girl get back home.
Moving from NY to Florida.
My experience with this company was very good. Before the pick up, the agent on the phone, Richard A, asked many important questions that I had not even thought about and this made the move so much easier. We went over in detail about every item, size and dimention. Packaging,if we were boxing or if we wanted them to do it. Their movers were professionals at wrapping and boxing. The truck was loaded in the order in which I intended to unload most important items first. The agent was very helpful in explaining the costs, including taxes or any aditional charge. They arrived to my house in NY right on time and had their shoes covered in order to not dirty the floor ( I thought that was a nice touch, especially when they got to my new house in Florida). They were able to unload the entire truck in 3 and a half hours. They brought all furniture to its place. Everything was unwrapped so that I could inspect all the items. They took all the boxes and wrapping materials away when they left. I am happy to report, nothing was damaged and everything arrived in one piece. Thank you so much for doing a great job. I never knew there were so many details involved with moving and thanks to your experienced agent, we covered all the details and I am now Floridian that is all moved in. I would highly recommend this company. Very experienced in their field and made the transition very smooth. Not that I intend to move again, but if that were the case, I would use them again. Thank you again!!
National Moving Group Good Job.
I was only moving two bedrooms and a living room full of furniture from portland to west virginia and needed a mover fast I just left my ex wife and needed to get back to normality. I ended up calling a few moving companies than finally landed national moving group after about 1 hour I recieved my quote on email, I called richie back and said lets move forward. The day the moving company showed up everything started moving pretty fast. The head guy told me I hope your ready to move because in 3 hours ill have this house packed up and ready to go they were with some relocation company out of seattle that National hired to complete my moving job. everything went great I am very pleased I went with national. had me back home in the matter of 12 days. .
National Movers Group and Most Valuable Movers, Inc.
Company contacted us and insisted they do not "bait and switch" moving companies. Truth is, this is exactly what they did. Our contract was purchased by another moving company. Most Valuable Movers Inc. came to pick up our boxes. They immediately called their office stating that there were two crates that were too big to take for the quoted moving price. Their office demanded $1200 additional funds to make the pickup. This was renegotiated to $750, after 3 hours of back and forth phone calls. When the move actually began, the movers managed to miss our driveway and get themselves stuck in mud. After another hour of unsuccesful maneuvering, we paid $80 to have a tow truck put them back on the road. From there, the move went without incident. Our original contract with National Movers cleary indicates the size of the two crates and the number of large boxes (36x36x40). National knew we were moving taxidermied mounts. They insisted their quoted price was accurate and made no mention of "oversized" crates. Since we had to move on the stated date, we paid the additional costs demanded by Most Valuable Movers, Inc. We believe that this is unfair because our original contract clearly indicated the sizes of the two crates. It is not our problem that Most Valuable Movers had incomplete communications with National Movers regarding what was being picked up. To date, we have contacted The Better Business Bureau regarding the tactics of National Movers. They have agreed to pay only the $80 towing costs.
Good Experience.
I was looking to move from maryland to pennsylvania kind of last minute, I am so super busy with work, I waited to last minute to find a moving company. I went on yahoo and started looking for movers locally and came across national moving they weren't local but said they could service maryland in 2 days after listeing to their information and how much it would cost I set up a move pretty easy and fast. in 2 days literally the driver alex with best moving called me up and said ill be there in 3 hours, I was happy and ready to get going. well 2400 dollars later I am in my new house in pa and pretty happy everything went really good. the only problem I have is they cracked my night table a little, they driver did give me 50 dollars off the bill im sure I can patch it up or blend it in. good last minute company defintlley not the cheapest but great and fast work. .

I recently acquired a new position at a firm in northern California and I was somewhat nervous with regards to both the availability and the cost of the moving services available. National Moving Group was able to alleviate my woes with straightforward salesmen, reasonable pricing, and splendid expediency. After conference with a kind and capable salesman who guided me through the process, a very reasonable rate was presented to me which surpassed the other companies I had previously researched. The salesperson gave me a three day window for the pickup and the movers arrived on the first day. The movers were extremely cautious with my furniture and clearly cared for their clientele and procuring their satisfaction. None of the items I was moving were damaged or marred in anyway and the move was completed in very short time indeed. I would highly recommend National Moving Group to any person who is looking for interstate moving services. .
Do not use this company.
Beware do not hire this company! After 12 days we still have not received all our worldly possessions. Pick up was after contracted time and delivery has not happened as the budget truck they contracted( as they do not have their own trucks) is broken down somewhere in north Carolina. Mechanics are not available on weekends so they say and they won't transfer our things onto another truck because "They won't make money on the move if they do that."My family consists of a 90-year-old Alzheimer patient, a man with recent spinal fusion surgery and I who has ms and Crohn's disease. All of our diseases have been severely exacerbated because of this experience. We are sleeping on one sofa and have depleted our savings on hotel rooms and food. Please don't" Let this happen to you!

DO NOT USE National Moving Group, they are only a broker but position themselves on the phone like the actual movers who will be handling your belongings. Richard from sales outright iied in everything he said about the company and the overall process including timing on how long it takes from pickup to delivery. The moving company they outsourced was over 6 hours late on the day of pickup and NMG was not useful at all in tracking down the driver. I was told by the actual mover that NMG was only a middleman that takes a fee and does not offer any real service. He actually said that NMG is known to give low quotes to get the consumer to sign and then the number actually goes way up after the movers take the stuff. The moving company NMG hired has only been in business for 4 months, why would I want a company that is unproven? Not suprisingly, the move took longer than expected, communication was poor on all fronts as we were told on three different occasions that the truck had left only to find out after that it was still stuck in storage. NMG gave the movers the wrong address so they ended up 4 hours outside of where they were supposed to be and at our apartment after 11pm. I repeat, DO NOT USE NMG, they are terrible, liars, thieves. All of our furniture was damaged and the moving company now is screening my calls and won't answer even after numerous voicemails. .

I was moving from southern california back to Conneticut and it was very stressful finding a mover, I decided to go with national moving group to move me. I made a great choice the movers showed up on the dates they said they would. As soons as I opened the door to great the movers they were ready to go to work. In about 3 hours my whole house was wrapped and all the boxes packed, it took them about another 3 hours to load the truck by 4 pm they were driven out of my drive way and I was in an empty house. Everything went awesome I am so glad I went with national moving and the best part everything was done for only 3000.00 which was so fair. National Moving group is the best.
