  1. TERRIBLE

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY

This company came highly recommended for a long distance move, but I cannot understand how. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with them, Rick in dispatch in particular. The movers were late picking up and I still haven't received my property because the movers are late delivering. This company will waste your time and your money.

  2. Great Service

Rick, Laurie, Jonny, Bo, and Six made this relocation process a breeze. They were on time, professional, caring, and overall a wonderful team to work with. If I need to move again I know the people to call. PLEASE USE THEM YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!

  3. The best mover I have ever used

My experience with Nationwide was like having your friends move you. The only difference was they were professionals. I feel fortunate that I was referred to them by my local clergy. The did all the work . The only thing I had to do was point. No attitude just great service!

  4. Moving Experience

Absolutely, AWFUL. I had a very short move that was literally less than 2 miles away and they could not even handle such a short move. Very "unprofessional" and nothing what I EVER expected. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE. I do not even know where to begin with all the damage. First, they damaged my wood floor. They scraped up the entire floor and cracked my door saddle, because the one mover dragged my very expensive Macy's cherry wood closet armoire across the floor. They did not even rap the bottom. Then I had to leave the closet armoire outside in front of the condo because the crew not only damaged the armoire, but could not handle lifting it. The crew broke my very expensive Travertine table. Two sides of the table were severely damaged and cracked. They new what they did and tried to hide the damage, by facing the damaged part of the table on the opposite end where it would take some time to notice it. They also left that part of the table partly wrapped.

The crew damaged the speaker to my Sony sound system by placing my woofer directly on top of the speaker while they were unwrapping it. They scraped the entire top. One of the movers attempted to put together my cherry wood sleigh bed and did a terrible job. They also scratched up my sleigh bed when they dragged my box spring directly over the bed. The kid literally just dragged the box spring over the cherry wood bed frame. They also damaged the front door to my new condo and some minor scuffs on my couch. One of the gentleman also told me he worked for Capital Bank and Nationwide hired him as a mover. This kid, basically had his headphones on the entire time and did not do very much. The company had the audacity to charge me the entire price for the move and I am literally lost thousands of dollars because of all the damage. I no longer have my cocktail table, which was not fixable and my beautiful closet armoire was left outside, where it was rained on that same night and ruined. Nationwide Van lines sent me a very UNPROFESSIONAL crew and there is no way these guys were professional movers. This was the absolute worst experience ever moving. I have never experienced anything like this. When you look at their website, they come across as so professional. Its the exact opposite.

  5. HORRIBLE MOVING COMPANY

It takes a lot for me to complain, but this company is definitely NOT RELIABLE. I booked a long distance move well in advanced. I was originally given a 2 day window. I received a call 2 days before my move from someone trying to postpone my move because they did not have any agents in my area at the time originally scheduled . I was moving out of an apartment and my lease was ending. What is the point of a deposit if the company can’t even guarantee you that they will be able to move you out within the original time window(that has been approved, weeks in advanced) Luckily, accommodations were made and the move was back on. I was still clueless on which day/estimated time I was going to be moving within that window. On the Thursday I was scheduled to move out, I received a call at 9:30am stating the mover will be coming between 2-4pm and the driver will give me a call when he is an hour away (Everything sounded great). I finally called at 4:40pm asking if there was any update as I have not heard anything. I was then told the truck broke down that morning. I thought it was very rude and careless for the driver to not call the customers he was taking care of when it happened to give them a heads up. I would’ve had no idea, unless I called the company. I was waiting all day for the movers to come and there was absolutely no communication. I was then told that the movers would arrive the following day at 7am. I never received a call that a driver was coming until I called AGAIN at 7:50am-asking for an update. The driver did not show up until 11. I was hoping to get on the road ASAP as this was a long distance move from Ohio to Florida. This company does not care about their customers time/money and the service that they paid for to have a smooth move. They are not reliable and don’t have any sense or care to be in touch with their clients. I understand things happen, but the professional thing to do would call right away and inform the paying customers of the situation, so they can plan accordingly. If the driver is going to be late, you let the paying client know. You need to be up their butts to get things done.

I was stressed the entire process on whether my driver/mover would even show up. The driver also showed up 8 days later than the date he originally told me that i needed to be ready for delivery. The delivery kept getting pushed back, and received no update from the company unless I reached out first. All of the boxes were broken/crushed and majority of my things were completely destroyed. Overall, this company needs to improve their communication and prioritize their customer service. I will NOT be coming back and definitely inform my friends/family to stay far far away. I am a very understanding person but this is completely ridiculous and I am very disappointed with my experience. This was a horrible, stressful experience. Not worth the quotes/money they charge at all.

  6. Moved Too Many Times to Count.

In the past 30 years I have moved more that 17 times..yes LOL. I can say, without a doubt Nationwide Van Lines has been the best! They were on time, The owner, Shahaf showed up first and waited for his men to come. They laid down a long red carpet, not to bring dirt into my home and wrapped every piece of furniture with care. I have a dining table that is all glass, legs and all, and they had someone come in the day before my move to crate it. The men were gracious and respectful and knew exactly what to do efficiently. They cover the entire US, so if I move again (hopefully not LOL) Nationwide is the company I will

    Call. Karen from Boca Raton.

  7. Awesome experience.

I had such a great experience with these guys! Everyone was very pleasant to work with and responsive when I reached out. Already recommended them to my sister.

  8. Best moving company.

The pick up window was accurate. The movers I had were great. They were quick and treated my possessions with respect. No damages. Definitely knew what they were doing. The estimate was on point. Literally to the penny. Excellent service all around and would totally recommend, especially for long distance moves.

  9. Not exactly on time but everything worked out just fine.

Only had a small issue with a box had a hole in the side. Everything else and the men who delivered were very courteous. I would highly recommend this company, Nationwide Van Lines.

  10. The worst move experience EVER!

I've moved dozens of times in my 25 year Military career and
Nationwide Van Lines has been the worst. I had over $10k in missing and damaged items on my last move. I was asked to do a "quick settlement" for $5k, and it's now been over two months with no compensation. Their Customer Relations Manager Rick Vera has been extremely dishonest. I'd absolutely avoid this company!

  11. Quick Easy and Accurate.

Cannot say enough good things about Nationwide. From the men who packed us up and moved us to North Carolina to the prompt and thoughtful follow up this company did a great job. Clear explanations of terms, conditions and most importantly insurance to cover the move. Dedicated men who took great care wrapping items to make sure they were not damaged. They delivered all our items within five days of the pick up. If I ever move again they will be the go to choice. Our driver Pierre and his assistants Bentley, Hicks and Johnny were friendly and professional and always were concerned about our needs and making sure we were happy and comfortable. Thank you so much for everything you did to take us from Plantation, FL to Cherokee, NC.

  12. First-Rate 300 Mile Move with Nationwide Van Lines.

THANK YOU Nationwide Van Lines for a first-rate 300-mile move from NJ to VA. From the first call with Laurie Osorio to the pickup and unloading into a storage unit with Uzi and Denzel, all details were clear and professionally handled. They really did take the worry out of the process. They handled my items with care from start to finish. A great start to a new beginning.

  13. Our move from NH to MA.

Right from the start, Marisol, the costumer representative was fantastic! I really didn't know where or how to start with the inventory. She put my mind at ease and helped me throughout the process! Pierre and his team were great. They were professional, polite, and friendly. We laughed a lot! My least stressful move by far!! Thank you.

  14. NC to GA Residential Move.

Best moving experience ever. Moving team Danis and Andre are the absolute best! Organized, hard working and dedicated in providing professional and careful handling of your household items. These young men care about people and do everything to meet your needs on time; without damaging your furniture or residence moving into/out of. Highly recommend Nationwide for your next move and if you can, ask for Danis and Andre!

  15. Move from Miramar Beach, FL to Irwin, PA.

Pierre and Dontae arrived at our Florida condo on time and did an awesome job of wrapping and taping our furniture and fixtures, loading boxes and securing items with bubble wrap, taping them securely, then, loading everything onto the truck. Custom boxes for TV's and mirrors were made, and every item was tagged with a number for tracking purposes. They worked almost non-stop for hours, taking only a short break outside. They left the condo neat and clean from all of the packing work they did.
Pierre and Lonzo delivered our furniture and fixtures to our home in Pennsylvania on schedule. We were amazed that nothing was broken or damaged and at how hard they worked to unwrap everything and cleanup when they were done.
We also appreciate the help of Alana and her help with the online shipping order and payment processes which were very efficient and well managed. And we appreciate the work of the Dispatch Team in notifying us about the arrival and delivery and schedule during this period.
They all did a 5-STAR ** job and we really appreciate their attention to detail and care that they showed for everything.
    Thanks Guys,
    Tim & Susan.
