1. SCAMMERS, Stay Away.

   STAY AWAY!! Don’t ever hire these guys for moving. I will write it down in short and in points to make you guys aware of these scammer.
   
   1. They are not mover, they are brokers.
   2. They don’t come home to do exact inventory check, instead they do it on phone.
   3. Payment option agreed will be credit card.
   4. Once contract is signed they will hire a local low rated movers. The one they hire for me was USA movers.
   5. Movers don’t show up on the schedule pick up date, instead they make a reason that I missed a call.
   6. Some other movers Moving Van Lines Inc came for pickup. On checking with them they said that US movers and Moving Van Lines Inc are same company and they have 2 more moving companies.
   7. Here they don’t accept credit card. Only personal check or cash is accepted.
   8. They don’t do weight of the items in front of you, instead they say it’s a standard US procedure to weigh the truck, I don’t have to be in person there to check weight. I will get a call from movers after the truck is weighed.
   9. Movers didn’t call back for 7 days. I was following up with them and they were making reason that they are not in office and they will call back, but they don’t.
   10. One day before delivery they called me saying my items wieghed 2000 lbs more. Here you don’t have other options than paying for additional weight because you were not present there.
   11. Drivers won’t call till delivery.
   12. Now they want rest of the payment in cash during delivery and no other option.
   
   So guys, please stay away from these guys. These guys are scammer. You end up paying more through your hard earned money.

2. You surely need the right movers.

   With the increasing number of moving companies out there, it might be difficult choosing the right company for your moving service. More so, it is a lot difficult to pinpoint a good moving company today because of the scams out there. But my search paid off rightly and I choose the right moving guys. Open Road Moving and Storage was the company I needed. The guys from this company made my move really one of a kind. You can tell how experienced these movers are by merely taking a look at their codes of conducts and how they work. Their professionalism speaks volumes of their experiences and that is why I will always hire them.

3. What a feeling!

   There’s always that inner sense of doubt when strangers work for you. That clearly points out my experience when I hired out Open Road Moving and Storage for the very first time. Apart from their name and the location of their offices in Florida, I knew nothing more. Nevertheless, I went ahead and sought out their services. I am grateful it was so because what followed is an experience I have never forgotten. I went for the best and that day, I experienced how it felt being close to the finest. I wouldn’t want another experience different from that when I am relocating next time.

4. So timely, so perfect.

   It is never about the services all the time. At times, it comes down to the personality of the service providers. Even with twenty years of experience, no one would love as a service provider who doesn’t treat his clients appropriately. I have come to believe that Open Road Moving and Storage knows this better. I have observed the working relations the employees have with the clients and I must say I have been impressed. They know how to make clients feel appreciated and that sets them apart from the others. Do you want reliable relocation services? Do you want to be accorded the relocation services of the century? Why would you look any further when there is Open Road Moving and Storage Relocation Company? I have come to believe that this is the best movers in town. They have relocated me twice and those experiences have been the very best. The other relocation companies that I have hired out are not match to this company. I would like to recommend it to the other people seeking worthy movers.

5. Professionals.

   I am glad I was introduced to the best relocation company around. When my brother enlightened me about this noble relocation company, I did not have an idea of what a big favour he was doing to me. I had gone to him for advice concerning my relocation which was due. Time was moving fast and I was running out of options. He suggested this to me, assuring me all the time that it was going to be well. I believed in him and I am grateful that he introduced me to the best of the best. Relocation is more than just moving properties from one place of residence to another. Before coming across Open Road Moving and Storage, I knew nothing about that. The kind of organisation that I observed in that crew enlightened me that you needed professionals for relocation and not any other person. Right from the beginning, their mind was set on finishing the packing work before midday. Nothing stopped them and few minutes before noon, the packing was done.

6. It was all followed!

   Not a single instruction I gave out was absconded. They followed all my guidelines to the latter. They did arrange the chairs just the same way I had told them to. When they were packing, I suggested ways in which I wanted the properties to be grouped. They went with that without a single complaint. Even when the driver was relocating the properties, his speed was within the range that I had requested. Which other relocation company would give me even half of that? None for sure. My confidence and loyalty lies with Open Road Moving and Storage. They are the kind of people I would trust even ten years from now. They showed me their best part by according me reliable relocation services last summer. They reported very early in the morning and started the work without many delays. In record time, they were done with the packing and loading. The transportation and offloading was equally better. I do appreciate this team for such tremendous services.

7. Fast and Reliable.

   New things can at times surprise you. Thanks to Open Road Moving and Storage , the group made my surprise so positive. Relocating to Georgia was so epic, it was fun working with friendly men carefully taking care of their property. I felt honored watching my households transported with so much care and responsibility, offered by the group. They came on time and by daybreak all my items were all moved carefully everything in the same state. I felt a queen for sure. Tribute to the company.

8. Not a Moving Company.

   This company is a sham and brokerage company, NOT A MOVING COMPANY. All of the 5 star reviews are fake (notice how not one picture is posted and all the reviews are within the last month). They are a recent startup from a failed company called coast to coast, they change their name regularly to hide their poor customer service and actual reviews. Upfront they seem wonderful and promise you the world, but ask the right questions and their performance falls to pieces. For example, their continuous "check ups" are a way for them to increase the price and collect their deposit before brokering it out to another company, which once done can only be paid by cash or cashiers check.. why? Because it leaves you no recourse for the poor quality or service of your move. Additionally, they can't guarantee you a delivery date because they book your moving truck on other moves as well, your items may not show up for months. Do yourself a favor, call a reputable company that owns their own van lines and will personally be moving your items, not a middle man.

9. Incompetent and Unprofessional.

   Let me be totally transparent here as I begin this review. Over the past few weeks I had high hopes for this company when I initially started to talk to Matt. Matt understood that I was moving my parents, who are almost 90 and 83 years of age. He also knew that we had two moves, one now and one in mid August that would be bigger. They were moving to a Assisted Living facility and could not take but 22 boxes and a bedroom suit, table and a few chairs because of the size of their room. But I would need them to transport the other furniture in the house and the rest of what we were keeping in August.
   Like other reviews I was told that they would arrive on either a Monday or a Tuesday, for us that meant on June 4th or 5th of this month. The reason they had to pick it up on those dates, was to assure me that it would arrive before my parents who I was escorting to their destination, by plane, on the 14th. You see, it takes between 3 to 10 days to get to their destination I was told.
   I was told the charge was based on weight. They would go to a station and weigh the truck before and then after the pickup would weigh it again.
   At this point Matt gave me Judy to speak with who would be one that would communicate with me during and after the pickup.
   To say that Judy lacks communication skills is an understatement. To say that Judy can get down right rude, is spot on.
   I was never told a time or an exact date of arrival or the name of a company. But to be fair, after speaking to her, it seems that Matt, who lead me to believe that they had someone, really didn't have anyone and Judy was the one who was supposed to get that company which would be a 3rd party.
   But to be fair to Matt, Judy lead me to believe that Monday and Tuesday was a good date. I was told they would contact me within 4 hours of pickup, which was fine with me.
   So when I called Judy and told her that no one had showed or called, she said she would look into it. But instead of her getting back with me, I had to call her 3 more times, and instead of speaking with Judy, Gabrielle was the one who that would actually be speaking to me. Judy was to busy. But at one point I finally spoke to Judy. Instead of giving me solutions, she immediately said "well, would be better to just give you a refund."
   I said no, I'm locked in at this point and my elderly parents need a bed to sleep on when they arrive.
   Judy then said she would look into it. Mind you, this is 5 days after the first arrival date was promised. After calling on Friday when she didn't call again, I finally get a response from Judy who stated that she had someone who would be picking up my parents belongings on Sunday, June 10th.
   I called later in the day, because they said they would not take a personal check for the last payment nor a credit card and I would need a electronic type of check from the bank. When I went to the bank they required a name on the payee line. I called Judy again and I was told they didn't have a name yet, but she would again "look into it and get me a name." Once again Judy never called back. See a pattern?
   So Saturday night, realizing that I didn't get a name I ran to the bank to get cash out of the ATM. But, as usual, Open Road Moving and Storage was a no show. I called Judy, but there was no answer. Then I called Matt who said he would "get on it!"
   Then Judy called and again offered me a refund! What they heck? I told her that "refund" can't be her go to statement and again, we are locked in and my parents and I leave on Thursday. Both Matt and Judy said they would get back with me, but never did. I then called back and got Judy who said, and by the way I do not believe this statement.
   "we did have a truck for you, but when the truck arrived at one of it's stops, the customer had three times more stuff than they stated and it filled the whole truck and that's why your truck never showed up."
   The incompetence now extends to the truck driver for never notifying the other customers. Lastly I was called today and said they can't help me and they would issue a refund. Just sad!

10. Beware.

    This is the most dishonest company I have ever done business with. They will promise call backs to give ETA on pickup and delivery but you will never get a call back. you will be quoted one price, but that price will increase by 3x after all your belongings have been loaded onto the movers truck. you will be told that you are paying a price per lb, but they will change to cu ft after everything is loaded.
    
    it should not cost $7200 to move a 500 sq ft apartment.
    
    please read all the other reviews carefully. Do they sound funny?

11. Unhappy with delivery time frame.

    I hate to write bad reviews, I truly do. I don’t enjoy to bash anyone, and if my issue was resolved when I reached out to the company I wouldn’t be writing this. However, I was emailed and told over the phone and promised delivery of my products within a specific time frame, and that was the deciding factor upon me signing on. I am still currently waiting for my materials without any form of an ETA. I was even told that my materials are still sitting in the state I departed from. Unfortunately, due to my materials not arriving within this window I have, I am completely unsure when the next day I will have off that would coincide with when my delivery could be dropped off.

    

12. It is all I’ve always wanted.

    You are so wonderful! Thank you, Open Road Moving and Storage for an awesome relocation. You gave me services that were worth my cash. In fact, I even have the feeling that I was given more than I paid for. What I needed was an average service provider who could oversee the movement of my household goods from Georgia to Kentucky. Instead, I got perfection. I got reliability and above all I had affordability. That is all I have always wanted.

13. Thanks for doing me proud.

    It has been a pleasure knowing Open Road Moving and Storage. Ever since I got wind of them, I have never regretted. Right now, they are the best relocation company in town and outside. It is not like they achieved this fete overnight. They have come a long way with this and I sincerely appreciate that. Over the years, they have grown from good to better and right now, they are the finest movers around. They are second to none because not even the most expensive service providers can get to where they are. It is more than an honour. Having Open Road Moving and Storage work for you makes you have a feeling that is far beyond honour. It comes with a certain sense of comfort. You just find yourself highly respectable. The most interesting part is how the worker handles the client. Thy makes you feel like the boss. Any time they are in doubt, they consult on how best you want everything to be done. If they realise that you are not comfortable with how they did something, they will sincerely apologise and correct it with immediate effect. They offer services you can trust.

14. Very professional.

    So far, I have the best. I know where the most reliable relocation services can be gotten. I have an idea where to go when a friend of mine wants quality relocation services. I will direct them to Open Road Moving and Storage because I know that is where reliable help comes from. I hired them out a while ago and they showed me their best part. They relocated me without any drama. Better still, they kept their charges so low. What more would I want from a relocation company? If all the service providers were to be like Open Road Moving and Storage, this world would be a better place. If all of them were to be as dependable as this mover, there wouldn’t have been any reason to search deeply for a service provider whenever you are in need. It could have been so easy, just going for the first technician you lay your hands on. However, that is not the case. That is why I need to stick to this relocation company because not a single one out there is compatible with it.

15. Changed my perception.

    I am not that much into relocations, I must admit. If I had options, I would stay where I am. I was made to fear relocations right from childhood and very little has changed over the years. The experience I had last weekend is however threatening to change the perception I have always held for years. For the whole of this week, I have thought why this recent relocation seemed so different to me. Now I know, Open Road Moving and Storage made it so. I love this team of dedicated experts. Long live Open Road Moving and Storage. They deserve honour and glory. This relocation company deserves all the great names because that is exactly what they are. I have come to believe they are the best interstate movers around. I have had an opportunity of working with the other major relocation companies around and I can promise you that Open Road Moving and Storage is much superior in terms of quality delivery of services. They are performers for sure.
