  1. Move from SoCal to Oregon.

    When we contacted Presto Logistics for our move, everyone was super nice and helpful. Henry came out for the estimate. I was told we had approximately 1200 cu ft. Once our belongings were loaded, we were then told we had 1800 cu ft. Since the truck was a 26 ft, I'm not sure how it could fit 1800 cu ft. The cost went up 36%. I inquired about an 18 wheeler getting down our street, and was told that if they had to rent a smaller truck and load it, it would be about $600 additional. When our furniture finally arrived, as expected the truck would not fit down our street. The driver said he had to get a smaller truck, and the cost would be an additional $2,100. We had no choice. The delivery was made at night. Our bed and dresser were broken and boxes were missing. I called Presto and was given a web site to file the loss. Once I received the info, it said not to do any repairs. At his point repairs were already made (I wasn't going to sleep on the floor in thirty degree weather).

    This move went from $4,650 to $9,270. Over double the original estimate. Thank goodness the delivery guy took the extra fee from $2,100 to $1,260. I feel like I was completely misled on this move.

  2. Not BBB accredited..there is a reason.

    Movers who pack and deliver your goods are hard working and honest. The company Presto and their appraisers in the office are the problem. They lie. They low ball you with the appraisal and then leave the actual movers to deal with your dissatisfaction. Dishonesty should not get any stars..Daniel!

  3. Very Unprofessional.

    Told me a certain date and I still haven't received my property, Secretary just leaves the same messages saying its in route I totally regret using this company, charge me $75 to fake crate "used a box" on some glass items.im still pissed thinking that it would be wood crated,unacceptable. "WORST COMPANY EVER!!..SMFH.

    Couldn't ask for better. They came on time, Richard and his crew were very nice and made sure my place was clean when they left. The delivery just came to my new house and it is all in one piece.

  5. Amazing crew.

    Amazing crew. They came in and wrapped my stuff like it was their own. I wondered in the beginning why I was paying for packing materials but now I see why! They gave me a quote that stayed exactly the same and they were on time. Definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a great service for a great price.

    This was my first time using professional movers. And I would use Presto Logistics again. Even though there were a few hiccups, they took care of them in a very timely manner.

  7. Dissatisfied Customer.

    I spent twenty-two years in the U.S. Air Force and I made six PCS Moves and this one was after I retired and had to foot the bill on my own. This is the worst move I have ever made. Fortunately, when the military move you you get reimbursed at replace cost. When I looked on the internet for a mover, I was courted by Eddie, Presto Logistics, in Southern California and he compared his company with others. Compared to DOT rating, Presto Logistics looked better than a few other companies that I was considering. Boy was I wrong. My shipment arrived three days late and eleven items short. After two weeks no lost items found? Two smaller trucks picked up our household good then was transferred to a larger, eighteen wheeler. I watched the truck driver as he helped unload the boxes and kept tally at the same time. At the end, he said eleven boxes were missing then all of a sudden these eleven boxes appeared out of nowhere, The next day I began to look for certain items but they could not be found. So I went back and tallied all of the boxes and guess what, eleven boxes missing. I then called Eddie and he didn't really want to help because it was customer service responsibility now. Then I talked to Velma. Trying to talk to her after my shipment arrived two weeks ago was like trying to talk to a brick wall. I just got the run around at this point. My first four years in the USAF I worked in transportation (TMO) receiving freight and I know the game. Based on the way the truck was packed when it arrived at our new destination, I'll bet a C-Note those eleven boxes didn't get on the truck because the trailer was loaded from the front and cut off evenly just past the side door. Could our items been mixed with another customer's items? I don't think so? How can you miss a LARGE WARDROBE box and a LARGE, RED DOLLY. Not to mention most of the boxes we used were from "The Home Depot"? By the way, I spoke to Velma, Customer Services, and she said, "no way you lost eleven items"? I sent an email detailing the items that I recalled (six bullet statements) now Velma says there are only six items missing. At this point, we stand to lose a lot of valuable items. Let's face it, "if" our items were delivered to another customer I believe the driver or the customer would have recognized that? Unless Presto Logistics pulls a rabbit out of their hats and find our missing items, I would not recommend this company.

  8. Best movers ever!

    Best movers ever! They gave me a great price under $1000!! I only had a small studio apartment but I was moving from California to Oklahoma City so I was surprised that they would do it for so cheap. They were very fast and nice. They really made it easy to move across the country, which is never easy!

    I also wanted to mention that Eddie helped me with the quote and he was very nice and professional as well, thank you!

  9. Great Company.

    Presto came to my house, gave me a quote that was fair, they showed up on time and we're very kind thru the entire move. I just got my stuff and I had everything intact except a scratch on my table but they did a great job overall.

  10. Worst Experience Ever.

    I ended up sending them home after they were two hours late. They didn't have anyone "able to come to my house for an estimate" Quoted me 1300. Raised to 1600. Then to 2400. The lady manager "forget her name" is rude. Ross Just lies. They knew I was in a pinch and tried to take advantage of that. I told them to go home.

    Hope they are happy with the 250$ "deposit" they kept. Do not go with this company ever.

  11. Extremely Slow, Unpunctual & Very Unprofessional.

    AVOID!! Today is April 13. Presto has been holding my shipment like a hostage since they came to pick it up from my home on March 28. I moved to Texas, and when I booked them (and PAID IN FULL), I was told numerous times by different staff members at Presto that Texas is such a regular rout for them, I should receive my shipment in no time. It's been two weeks, and I'm still unable to fully function here waiting for my boxes that include my work desk and files among other items I need for my work.
    This is not the only reason they have earned a one star from me. On the day they came to pick up the shipment from my house, they gave me a window between 11am and 1pm. They didn't show up until 7PM that day. I was operating on such a tight schedule, that 7 hours delay really messed up my day. They didn't leave my house before 9:30pm. I chose not to make a big deal out of it back then, even though the staff member who came to my house for the pick up (I think his name was Carlos), kept blaming this 7 hour delay on his other customers, who he had to service that same day before me. I wanted to give Presto the benefit of the doubt, so I said nothing. After such a loooong wait time for my shipment to arrive, I contacted Presto for an update, as this has really started to affect my work here in Texas. Their answer indicated that they still haven't shipped my items from LA after TWO WEEKS. I was so upset to hear this, and that's when I pointed out their incompetency, and reminded them of how they made me wait 7 hours, messed up my entire day back then to pick up my shipment on March 28, only to hear that my stuff are STILL in LA today on April 13!! How great is that? In addition, Daniel sent me an email response doubting my story of the 7 hour delay on the day of the pick up, and basically telling me that I'm lucky for not dealing with the worst company in this industry. WOW! What an unprofessional response! If all of the above doesn't make you the worst in your industry, I don't know what would.

  12. Excellent service as promised.

    I usually never write reviews but I am often swayed by them so when I ended up choosing Presto after seeing all of the feedback that I did, I promised Danny (my sales rep) that I would write a review good or bad. He was very confident in the service that he was selling and assured me and showed me what I needed to see to make the decision to go with them. I got calls from all over and went with my gut and I am so happy that I did.

    I had an amazing experience from start to finish. The men showed up on time on both ends of my move. They were very nice and helped me with things that weren't part of my contract (they took a fridge downstairs to the curb). They put everything where I wanted it and left an organized pile of all the boxes and plastic wrap they used for the move. I wanted them to take it but other than that I couldn't be happier.

    All of my stuff was intact, I am still not finished unpacking but I opened every box and skimmed thru most of it and it looks like we have everything. Very highly recommended and ask for Danny when you call.

    The company gave us an honest price and great service. We thought there would be a hiccup or two but it was honestly seamless.

    I couldn't believe how easy it would be. I needed to move last minute for work. I only have a 2 bedroom apartment but they packed everything and got it out in 5 hours! Carlos was great as the lead guy and the other guys were just as good. My stuff is on its way to Seattle so I'll see how it goes out there. So far so great!

  15. In good conscience, I cannot recomment.

    Their level of care does not match their level of customer service. A slew of my items were damaged, broken and missing. In fact, a bulk of my furniture could not be assembled upon delivery by the drivers because parts were missing. The drivers were in such awe of the poor workmanship that they called customer service to confirm the poor packing and management on the company's part. I am in the process now of resolving this in a claim, but I wish I would have chosen another company altogether to save myself the trouble. Consequently, I would not recommend Presto Logistics for any move of any size. Aforementioned, their level of care does not match their level of customer service.
