  1. Earned/Deservedjuuumgg every penny.

    I used to have to give directions and further instructions to other movers. They knew where they were going and what to do if a quick situation popped up. I got into the mood of expecting to pay an extra sum just for a "tip'. If I had to, then they earned that "tip". Moved so smooth I think they polished my coffee table.Seriously, I know someone that wants you to move some things for them. It's not far.

    I did a lot of research about which company should I go with and this one the best in all the ways! Best pricing and the workers were very nice and friendly since the very first time I was at the phone. Everything ended up being better than expectedX no damages. I'd highly recommend this company they have great deals. In the future if I had to move again I'd call them in a heartbeat. Don't wait any more, you won't be disappointed that I cal tell you!

    I'm so glad I chose these guys. My move was only 30 mins away but they made things so effortless. They were very careful to make sure all of my belongings were intact and handled with care. I was satisfied with their price as well. I'm so happy. Great choice!!

    I wish you could give them negative stars because that's what they deserve.
    This company is garbage and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I have been through a lot of moves and this one is by far, no questions asked, the worst company. This move has been nothing but a headache from the start. I have been lied to left and right and ignored. I can't even tell you how many times I've had to call this company to be ignored, put on hold and then disconnected, or told they had no information for me. The only reason I even got a hold of them after they had my things was by using a different number and/or acting like I was going to schedule a move, and that's when I was placed on hold and hung up on several times.
    When the guy originally asked about the items I had he didn't list a lot after I reviewed it and assured me that it wouldn't matter and my price wouldn't change. I have it all in an email that I saved. It should have been a red flag when I told the guy I needed the weight of the truck before an after my things were put on the truck for work purposes and he tells me they don't go by weight, they go by cubic feet or whatever because apparently weight is easily tampered with. I think cubic feet is more easily tampered with. After going back and forth about it the guy told me he left the drivers a note to make sure they get the weight.
    A few days before the company showed up I received another call to go over everything. Long story short my price now went from $3500 to $6000. And after I thought I made it clear that I didn't want to pack anything myself, I find myself having 3 days to pack my entire apartment because the guy never put it down. I already paid them some money and they wouldn't reimburse me so as much as I didn't want to I stuck with them. Plus this was Friday afternoon and the movers were coming in a few days, I didn't have time to try to find anyone else.
    The movers call and say they are on their way, I mention the weight and they say they knew nothing about it, big surprise! Anyways, they get the weight and the first thing I ask them when they arrive, and I questioned it before as well and was told the same answer by another person, when you load my things it is not going to leave this truck and go on another or in any type of storage is it, it will be going straight to where I'm moving? The guy told me no that everything will stay on that truck and be brought right to me. I had 2 witnesses right next to me to verify it all. They had another shipment in front of mine going a little further. After having very young and what seemed to be un experienced kids moving my things, sliding boxes all over the hardwood floors and badly scratched them up, I took very good care of the floor and I just waxed them. They didn't even try to be careful even though I asked them to. Anyways, I lost a huge chunk of my deposit due to their negligence. One again call time after time regarding that to be completely ignored.
    I told the main guy, who did all of the talking, to stop and let me know when they reached the mark they drew for cubic feet that I paid for. They did it the first time but the second time they kept going. I thought everything was fine because the guy never said anything. When they were almost finished the guy says my total is now $9,758.60 and there are a few things they couldn't fit. Are you kidding me! There were gaps across the entire top. Now tell me again, weight is easily tampered with compared to cubic feet? Bull Sh*t! I went from $3500 to 9,758.60?
    I'm waiting for my things to arrive, the guy told me I would receive it the following week. I call very anxious to receive my things because I had a 5 month old and packed most of her things with the thought that I was getting everything 1 week later. Another long story short I called and called and called, ignored hung up on. I finally find out thy took everything off of the truck and put it in storage and have yet to even start transporting it where I need. It's now been 2 weeks when I was told I'd get everything in 1 week.
    I finally receive my things 3 weeks later after calling more than I can remember every single day. The guy shows up by himself and says he's waiting on 2 guys to come help. They finally show up, each bring 1 thing inside, and are all of the sudden gone. The driver says they wanted too much money. So now my husband is stuck helping this 1 guy and I'm trying to take care of a fussy baby. Needless to say I was not able to keep up with the list and my husband was too busy being a nice person and helping the guy. Once everything was inside, so the guy said, he has me sign the papers and leaves without checking anything or going over things. Stupid me for signing the papers. Anyways, I am now left with damaged and broken furniture, broken items in several boxes, and several missing boxes. I had clothes for my daughter for p to 2 years, spent hundred and hundreds of dollars on these clothes, the boxes I had labeled 6+ months are gone. I went to put larger clothes in her dresser because she was out growing the size I had for her and now my daughter has no clothes at all that fit her except the suitcase of clothes that I brought with us. I had a large box labeled pillows, bought 6 brand new $50 pillows and that box is gone, a brand new vacuum, never taken out of the box is gone, the large boxes of diapers I had silicone wrapped together were torn apart and 2 boxes are missing, my brand new bedroom set is all messed up,the bed looks like it was dropped on the corners because the corners are all messed up, not to mention the deep scratches all over it, the wood on one of the dressers is now broken, another dresser is scratched up and chipped all over the place, the back of a shelf is torn apart, the glass on my clock is broken, the list goes on. I am so over my head with this and if this company doesn't start picking up their phone they're going to have some legal problems on their hands.
    Now I'm doing nothing but kicking myself for not going with the company I spoke to before this one who quoted me $5000 for 5200 pounds, that includes them packing. Instead I pay nearly $10,000 to pack everything myself and it was 5600 pounds. Yea I would have had to pay a little more but it wouldn't have been $10,000 and I wouldn't have had to pack anything myself.

  5. The negative reviews are very consistent.

    I learned! When they arrived to pick up the furniture, which was less than what they had on the estimate, the driver immediately asked for a 50% increase. I offered to remove the medium boxes that [NAME EDIT] said would not be a problem because we were far under the minimum, but the driver said the furniture will not fit in the minimum space, which [NAME EDIT] said was 350 cf. But the driver said we needed near double that amount. We refused! We lost our deposit, but not our dignity. (I know, can't take dignity to the bank!Business practices like this need to be stopped. We filed a formal complaint with NJ Division of Consumer Affairs. It's a shame that this type of practice is allowed to go on. Other reviewers here obviously had no choice but to pay.

  6. Very Reliable - Great Company!

    This company rocks! I had to request them basically last minute for my move down South and everything from their customer service department to the drivers were awesome. The driver was friendly and I didn't have to worry about a thing. They were careful with my furniture and made my entire moving experience quick and easy. I had all of my items after 1 week and everything came to me in perfect condition. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to make a move.

    I can't thank you enough for turning my nightmare of a move to a very pleasant move. I hate moving but this turned out to be a very pleasant move. Thanks to all of you from the person taking my call for help to the movers themselves. They were careful with all my belongings and everything arrived safe and sound and on time, thank you for making my experience a lot better than I have had in the past. I highly recommend this company.

    Used this company last week for a move and they wanted me to give some feedback on my experience moving with them. I hired them for my home move and also for my car shipping. I almost went with another company because they were cheaper, but glad I did my research and selected them. The movers were on time and very professional. They really helped me get this done in such a short time and it only took them 4 days for delivery. My experience was 5 stars from beginning to end.

  9. Move going poorly so far!

    This move has been nothing but confusion and lack of communication by Superior Moving. Pickup was 6/23/17, delivery was said to be 7/1/17. It is now 7/11/17 and we have no idea where our possessions are. They have everything and most of the fees paid. We try and call everyday hoping for an update and we are either disconnected or just not answered. The 14 business day window is up this Friday July 14. Today alone I logged 35 call attempts to Superior Moving, all calls but 1 were immediately disconnected. They picked up once today, call attempt #30 and said they had no info, but assured me they would call back in 30 min with an update. That was 2 hours ago. We are extremely concerned since they have our possessions, most of the monies paid and now seem to avoid us. Superior Moving: if you are reading this please contact us! We need to know where our possessions are and when you will be delivering them.

  11. Moving experience.

    I cannot get low enough on the rating scale! A few highlights; The salesperson, [EDIT], said the move would take 6 days, even though when the paperwork came, it was up to 21. The driver would not return calls for expected pick-up day. Only 2 guys came for the move from a 3rd floor apartment with no elevator, which the company knew ahead of time. Only one box, with breaking noises emitted, fell down the stairs. He had no idea of what were to pay and the company was very reluctant to facilitate this communication, saying he had no way to contact the driver! Finally, I got someone to call the other and got that settled. The driver said it would take 9-11 days. So we left right away to cross country to be there when they got there, even though I could have stayed back with friends in the comfort of their home until MUCH later. The expected date came and went with no communication regardless of our efforts. No one would answer the phone, including the driver, answer emails, of voice messages. The truck finally arrived and our stuff was not on the truck!! And the driver said it would take at least another week or more. It has now been 22 days, putting the total days to at least 26+ days. Can't wait to see what next week brings..

  12. Moving Nightmare.

    This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with, I wouldn't recommend these people to move a dog house. What a nightmare.

    I spoke with the man in charge [NAME EDIT], when he arrived. I told him upon his arrival, be careful with my furniture, it's all custom made (Amish) and very expensive, did that matter, "NO!" he didn't care, he did exactly what he wanted, stating; "I got this, this is what I do," I guess that meant he knew how to destroy other peoples property, because they managed to damage every piece of my custom made (Amish) furniture. My furniture was less than a year old.

    Just a nightmare. I was told at the time of my reservation that my things were not going to be moved with anyone else's things like the big movers do and would be picked up and delivered to my new home by the date I specified. Yet this mover [NAME EDIT] tells me (after he has loaded most of my things in the truck) that he has to pick up someone else's things too in the morning.

    Anyway, unexpectedly on the 6th of June (I scheduled for June 7th) I get a call from the moving company that they were on the way to pick up my things but the truck broke down, so they have to find another truck and it would be Friday the 9th of June before they could pick up my things, I told them that wouldn't work, I specifically told this company that I needed to be at my new relocation by Friday morning the 9th of June to close on my new home, no problem they tell me, yet now they're telling me that they will be at my house on Friday the 9th to pick up my things.

    Then I get another call that the movers will be at my my home first thing in the morning (June 8th) to pick up my things. I am up at 7:30 in the morning talking with my neighbor, waiting for them (expecting them sometime around 8 or 9 a.m. at the latest) Do they arrive as stated? "NO." They arrive at 2:30 in the afternoon at 12:35 a.m the next morning they still do not have all my things packed up.. what the?, So disorganized. Instead of assigning each person an area to pack, they all work on packing one thing at a time.

    Now they weren't packing an entire house either, I had already made 4 trips down to Florida, I had already moved the living room furniture, cleaned out the closets, the bathrooms, the dressers, all my tools, tech gear, etc.. My kitchen still needed to be moved and big furniture items (beds, dressers, curio's, dining room set, washer & dryer, etc.). A big moving company would have loved a move like this, they would have been done and out of there in no more than five (5) hours at the the most and they would have been on time. There is just no way it should have taken this long to pack what was left to pack.

    Now this isn't my first move, I've moved before from much farther away (Europe), I am retired military and I've never seen movers pack like these guys.

    The movers that I used when moving from Europe wrapped and packed everything inside, when everything was covered and packed then they all came together and began getting the stuff out of the house and packing it in the truck. Not these guys, they moved one thing at a time, they had my custom made furniture sitting outside, (unwrapped & uncovered) later in the evening it began to sprinkle, I saw one guy walk outside and even though he saw my furniture sitting outside and felt the rain, he took no initiative to take my furniture and put it inside my open garage. He just turned around and went back inside. I had to tell them to get my things under cover. I have never been so frustrated, nor have I ever seen such a disorganized bunch of movers. Just total incompetence.

    Then when they are about to move my mattresses they ask me (ask me?) if I have anything to cover my mattresses with.. what the? You're the movers, you know you are moving mattresses, why don't you have this stuff.

    The lead guy [NAME EDIT] made me feel as if I was working for him, not him working for me, he did absolutely nothing I asked him to do, telling me what I am going to do and that if he wanted to deliver my furniture at 1:00 in the morning I was going to be there to except it. I have to keep moving, he said, I have a lot of moves to take care of tonight, tomorrow, the next day etc., etc. So now I am in a time crunch waiting on them. I have to be in Florida at 9:00a.m (I’m driving 550 miles, an 8 hour trip), to close on my new home.

    My neighbors are commenting on how long it is taking these guys to pack my things. My power was disconnected at 9:30 that morning because the movers were suppose to be there on Wednesday, but showed up on Thursday, so there are no lights, they're packing in the dark.. later my neighbors come to my rescue and help me out by stretching extension cords from their houses to supply light for these incompetent movers to finish packing. (I had "Awesome!" neighbors).

    This was a three man crew, only one of the crew really did any work from the time he got there till the time he left and he was very careful with the items that he packed.

    Another crew member, well he just walked around in circles stepping over things, really no help at all.

    These guys handled my things as if they were handling junk furniture. They used no common sense or care whatsoever when handling my things. They totally ruined my mattresses to my Sleep Number Bed (which I bought in March of 2016). When my mattresses arrived and were unpacked from the truck they looked as if they were pulled from someone's discarded trash pile. All I can say on this topic is.. for those of you who have ever looked at or shopped for a Sleep Number bed, you know that the sleep number mattresses are far from cheap. My sleep number is a dual King with mechanical units which raise and lower your head & Feet. I told these movers how expensive my bed was, they didn't care. I didn't have my Sleep Number bed reassembled because the carpet in my home needs to be replaced before I can move my bedroom furniture in, so I have no idea yet if the mechanical part of the bed still works and.. about a week later I get a call that one of the pieces (the cooling and heating pad for one of the mattresses had been found in still in the truck and they would be by to deliver it. There are two of these pads (expensive also), I have a split king bed. The other pad may be missing also, I asked the mover if the other pad was there, the mover said yes, but I haven't found it yet. Nothing was grouped together or hardware taped to the items taken apart, who knows where any of the hardware is and I have no idea how long it will take to find any of these things.

    When the movers arrived with the first of my things, I'm told that all my things were not on the truck, yet the chair and flat screen t.v I gave one of the movers (AL) made it on the truck alright and I'm not for sure but I also told them that I was getting rid of a small apartment table, two chairs and a red leather easy chair, for all I know that was on the truck also, but all my things weren't.

    My curio cabinet shelves were left behind also.. what the?

    The entire time they were moving my furniture, I kept saying please be careful with my furniture, it's very expensive. They didn't care (but had it been their furniture, they would have). They also didn't want to disassemble anything either. When I received my furniture, my brand new (not even a year old) custom made cherry dining room table had a big gouge imbedded in it, my leafs ( which hadn’t even been in the table yet) looked like used furniture, the edges all marred, a deep scratch through one of the leafs, my chairs gouged, the set looks awful. My dresser (a two piece dresser also custom made) had small blocks attached to the bottom half of the dresser (to keep the upper part centered on the lower part), one of the blocks had been knocked off of it and they had no idea where it was. The hardware to reseat my china hutch to the bottom section was missing, couldn't find it. I also had a brand new pool cue rack custom made (never moved or hung on the wall since it was delivered and placed in my home), all my my furniture was custom made (Amish) and white glove delivered to my home, never moved or touched since delivery and placement in my home. They managed to mar & gouge the pool cue rack.

    This company has an answering system, which they never answer, it eventually hangs up on you and you can't get in contact with anyone that works for this company (unless of course you are throwing your money away) when you need to talk to someone.

    Bottom Line: If you have nice (Expensive things) and you no longer want them, use these people to move your stuff or better yet, just call your local trash company and schedule a big dumpster to be dropped off at your home to throw your nice things in there, because once these people are done moving your things that's all they'll be worth.

    Why pay more to have your things destroyed by incompetent movers, when it would be cheaper and easier just to have the trash man haul all your nice things to the dump for you.

    I have a lot of pictures to post of my damages, but they only let you post two pictures.

    These people are lucky, if I could give negative stars, I would.

    This was going to be my first ever move to another state so I was definitely nervous. The staff was courteous and made sure to address my every need. I had a lot of fragile items and they made sure that everything was packed up safe and securely! I had no items broken and everything was exactly as it should have been. They treated my stuff as if it was their own. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for their stuff moved in a safe and professional manner! Thank you for making my move so easy.

    I choosed the Superior Moving System really last minute when the another company canceled my reservation. I was really freaked out. However, when I call SMS, they kindly explained me everything step by step, which made me feel a lot better. When they came to move my stuffs, I was not even halfway of packing. They were nicely and quickly packed all of my left over stuffs in the boxes and moved them to my new place. My roommates and I have too much stuffs so we were worried about the price, but the price was actually cheaper than the one we primerly booked. We were really happy about their services and also the price.

    I decided I got tierd of were I was living and wanted a fresh start so I found a great location in newark but I have loads of stuff I thought there was no possible way to transfer all my belongs soni started looking around and getting rates but every wear I looked was super expensive or the movies did a bad job then a mutual friend told me to check out superior moving system so I decided to give it a try and afther looking at the reviews I decided to call and get some more info. I talked to the customer service agent and she was very informative about how they would do the move and the rates and I must say I was surprised at how good this company was almost alittle bit to good to be true but she assured me everyhthing would be fine and go as planned and that's exactly how it went it was easy and perfect the crew were very professional and respectful and took very good care of my precious belongings if I ever move again I would definitely be contacting this company or recommend it to other people great job .
