Good Work!!
They were so communicative and the prices are really reasonable. A crew of three guys showed up on time and they had us out of our fifth-floor walk-up in just a couple of hours. In the new place, they got everything moved in record time, reassembled our furniture, and even worked with the super to get that massive painting in through a window! Above and beyond. So glad that I worked with them. Recommending them highly for all your moving needs.
Terrible customer service.
I do not recommend this company! Booking the move and paying my deposit was fairly easy, the problem was repeated lack of communication.
My move was delayed for two days the morning I was expecting pick up (that was upsetting of course, but not the issue).
Six times in 3 days (from different employees and 2 supervisors) I was told I’d receive a phone call at a certain time to update me on my move so I set aside time to take those calls and no one called. All six times.
I explained each time I set up a new call time that I hadn’t been contacted at the last arranged time and they say they understand and apologize and then continue to not call.
Their customer service was a joke. After I’d paid a $1200 deposit I can’t get a call returned when they say they’ll call, 6 times.
Why would I trust them to complete my move and pay them more money when they’ve demonstrated they can’t keep their word.
I cancelled my move and emailed the address they provided asking for a portion of my deposit back and again I got no response from that email.
I called 2 weeks later to follow up and they say they won’t refund me any amount but will credit my deposit, good for 3 years. I asked for a receipt or some proof of this credit and was told “it’ll be in our system, just call us” I continued to ask for some proof this credit exists today or in 3 years and was told they’d have to talk to management to get back to me. No surprise, I haven’t heard back yet.
I do not recommend this company.

I couldn't believe how my moving went so quick and smoothly, but guys from Tierney Van Lines and Storage were phenomenal. In the same time, they are quick and careful, nothing was damaged. Tierney Van Lines showed up on time, worked hard and were extremely careful with our items, which we really appreciated. We would recommend this company to anyone who needs moving services. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of services they provide, thank you.
Would NOT recommend - look elsewhere save your time and money.
They will promise you the world and deliver on nothing. They seem to hide behind temporary google phone numbers.
The sales jockeys will run down everything, provide a low ball estimate and a pseudo amazing cost. From there they hand you off to a "quality" agent to review the items. The quality agent never called.
Once they get your money they post on a bid central moving board with a low ball offer that only the worst movers will pick up.
We accommodated the movers request to reschedule 3 times. The third reschedule was for a Saturday morning. We received a call 10 minutes before the scheduled window was coming to a close. The movers needed to reshedule for late afternoon.
We were on the fourth reschedule. Of course the movers called that they were running late. The office was closed. After several voice mails, emails to every address on the website, Paul called and said he would resolve the issue.
More empty words as we never heard back from him.
It was too late. we had to be out of the house by a certain date and couldn't wait any longer.
They surely kept the money and we never received anything but empty promises and no service.
I have 17 state to state moved under my belt. Tierney Van Lines knew all the right lingo to get my business. DO NOT BE FOOLED.
We found another service that bent over backwards for us. We called the new company on a Monday and by that Wednesday afternoon our household goods were on a truck. Good companies are out there,

I have a great experience with this moving company. They recently moved me and the entire process of moving went so smooth, no issues, pretty unpainful although I don't like moving at all. The price was very acceptable, moving team was friendly and careful. Thank you, Tierney Van Lines!

Communication with the company was easy and they were punctual. Jacob was really nice and was able to move everything smoothly. Completed my move within 1 hour without any problem. I will be using these guys again in the future without any doubt or issue!

State to state gave me great service and never changed the price quote on me once. They were honest, truthful and hard working until the last box was brought into my new apartment. They helped organizing the boxes I packed by labeling things. So unpacking was much easier. I started my new job feeling positive and not stressed out from a move. Thanks. The Tierney Van Lines were driving to SD and to take away any trash and unwanted items so that we would not have to dispose of them. Amazing company and amazing people! They treat you like family.
"Moved" my Mom.
My mother, who has Alzheimers, contacted this company to move her. She then promptly forgot she had done so. They charged her nearly $1400. When I discovered this nearly a month later I called and was told we had missed the 72 hour cancellation window, they also refused to provide me with an invoice to warrant the fee and refused to give a refund. I do NOT recommend to anyone.
